Very spacious sea view room decorated in blue and white. Comfortable beds. Fabulous location for ferry and reaching the lift to the centre.

The lift was so slow often waiting a long time and often used the stairs instead. First night there was very loud music coming from somewhere very close by in to the early hours. The 2nd night was better and quieter.

The location of the hotel is definitely its number one advantage. If you want convenience and easy access to the harbour and ferries to the islands, this is a great choice. Everything is within easy reach, making it very convenient for exploring the area.The rooftop terrace is absolutely AMAZING, with a fantastic view of the beautiful Mount Vesuvius and the harbour. Watching the view from the rooftop is truly special especially at sunset

Unfortunately, the room was extremely small — far too small for two people. There was barely enough space to move around, and we struggled to find room for our luggage. The bathroom also needs some attention. The shower was very old and heavily affected by limescale, which resulted in poor water pressure and made it difficult to shower properly. We also found the front desk staff rather unfriendly and unwelcoming. They rarely smiled and spoke very limited English, which sometimes made communication difficult. That said, the cleaning staff and the rooftop bar staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated their warm service.

The terrace was wonderful, beautiful views and great to watch the sunsets. The bed was very comfortable, shower was great and generally very clean.

The rooftop pool area was great

Very expensive drinks for a small hotel, you could hear everything and everyone passing your bedroom all day and night which was a massive letdown. there is also no kettle or tea and coffee maker facilities in the room. So if you wake up early and breakfast isn’t open, you have to go out of the hotel and search for a warm drink.

The location, and the entire restaurant staff was excellent!

Our bed was very hard, and the step heading to the rooms number 200s was tough, we also feared the 2 steps to go down to use the bathroom in the middle of night. All the walls in our suite were all white and not one picture on the walls. Did not feel warm.

Right by the ferries! When everyone was getting off the ferry and exhausted from their day, I waved good bye to them because my beautiful hotel room was right there!! We had a gorgeous balcony view of the entire port. I loved watching the hustle and bustle of the ferries.

Mala atención del personal. Poca predisposición para atender. Fui con mi bebé, llegamos de viaje a las 14:30hs, buscamos algo para comer y no pudieron facilitarnos nada (siendo que el bar cerraba a las 15:00hs y faltaban algunos minutos para esa hora) El desayuno no era muy rico.

The location is fabulous. You can walk everywhere easily. The lift to the square is super convenient too! The restaurant is right outside of the hotel entrance and they offer a discount for the hotel guests. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful.

I recommend not getting an economy room if you can avoid it.

Tolle Lage gleich am Hafen. Ideal für Ausflug nach Capri. Parkservice (gegen Aufpreis) hat auch toll funktioniert. Rooftop Pool und Bar sehr gut. Restaurant sehr gut (hat täglich geöffnet, Info bei Booking stimmt nicht).

The rooftop pool and bar was the highlight of this hotel - it was free to use the lounges, and the bar food was tasty but the drinks were more expensive than anywhere else in Italy.

The reception staff were rude/cold, breakfast was very poor quality, the room and especially the bathroom was tiny - which would be fine except there was nowhere to hang towels, and if you are a bigger person you can barely get in the shower. Black spots on the tiles in the bathroom (which you are face-to-face with because of the tiny room), very noisy at night, the aircon was loud too. At night the bedroom was too bright from the thin curtains and lights coming from the restaurant downstairs. Gave us 10% off the adjoined restaurant for being a guest but then the waiter proceeded to guilt-trip us to leave a tip as a result.

Vistas al mar, facilidad de acceso desde y hacia el puerto, transporte desde el hotel hasta el centro de la ciudad. El restaurante Vela es fantástico.

Las ventanas hacia la calle permiten el ingreso de la luz a primera hora de la mañana. Sugiero engrosar las cortinas. La temperatura del aire nos pareció puede ser mejorado para las temperaturas de la época.

A reggeli egyszeru volt! Legalább a felvágottat cserélhették volna naponta! A szobában nem volt hűtő! (Utólag néztem meg jobban a felszereltsegleirását,valoban nem irták a hűtőt! Sok 3*-os hotelben van hűtő! Főleg ilyen meleg helyen! Érkezéskor tettek be 2 vizet, ami langymeleg volt! A furdőszobában nem volt törölköző tartó! A strand nagyon keskeny és drága(70€ 2 napágy 1 napernyővel!) Viszont a viz nagyon jó! Kisbusszal lehet felmenni,2€/fő, vagy lépcsőn(kb1000 lépcső)!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Faro II in Sorrento. The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location, making it very convenient for exploring the area. All the staff were lovely, but a special mention must go to Vincent. He simply could not do enough for us, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He has a wonderful way of making guests feel genuinely welcome and always greeted us with a pleasant smile. Vincent is an absolute credit to the hotel and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Hotel Faro II and would happily stay here again!

The location and the views were excellent. It felt very authentic, Italian. There was a big group of us that travelled, some of our group stayed in a very high class hotel but I loved the quaintness of this, it was a little bit basic but charming.

The pool was very small, the rooms were clean but basic.

O hotel tem uma parceria com um estacionamento local, porém eles levaram meu carro pra estacionar e devolveram com um arranhão em cada porta, os dois lados do carro arranhados. O hotel jogou a responsabilidade pro estacionamento e nada fez para me ajudar! O estacionamento Sorrento Parking disse que não iria arcar com nenhuma responsabilidade e eu saí no prejuízo e o hotel não prestou nenhum auxílio, foi terrível! O café da manhã também é muito fraco, a localização só presta pra saída e chegada dos passeios de barco, o elevador é horrível e a estrutura do hotel é bem fraca. The hotel has a partnership with a local parking lot, but they took my car to park and returned it with a scratch on each door, both sides of the car scratched. The hotel threw responsibility for the parking lot and did nothing to help me! The parking loting Sorrento Parking said that it would not bear any responsibility and I was at a loss and the hotel did not help, it was terrible! Breakfast is also very weak, the location only provides for the departure and arrival of boat trips, the elevator is horrible and the hotel structure is very weak.

A localização do Hotel Il Faro é, sem dúvida, seu grande diferencial! Ele fica praticamente em frente ao local onde chegam e saem os barcos — não dá nem 1 minuto a pé. Para quem pretende ir a Capri, fazer passeios pela Costa Amalfitana ou utilizar os barcos para conhecer a região, é extremamente prático. Também fica muito perto do elevador que leva até a parte alta e o centro de Sorrento, o que facilita bastante os deslocamentos. Além disso, há uma praia praticamente ao lado. Nesse aspecto, realmente adoramos! O atendimento foi bom e, no geral, tivemos uma ótima estadia.

O ponto negativo fica para o tamanho do quarto, que é bem pequeno, e principalmente para o banheiro. O box do nosso quarto era MINÚSCULO, num nível INACREDITÁVEL...desconfortável e até engraçado: se o sabonete cair no chão, não existe espaço para abaixar e pegá-lo! 😂 Se uma pessoa for um pouquinho mais gordinha ela nao passa na porta....surreal....Sinceramente, é um tamanho de box que não deveria nem ser oferecido em um hotel e precisa muito ser revisto. Tirando essa questão do banheiro e quarto, gostamos bastante da hospedagem. Para quem prioriza localização e facilidade para fazer os passeios de barco, o hotel é uma excelente opção!

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING ! Room was EXTREMELY TINY. Stared at a wall from only window. THE CURTAIN could not go up or down ( telescopic wand to maneuver it … did not work) . The chamber maid nor her helper “ it is not my section” (literal comment). The bathroom is literally 5’x 6’ range. All in including shower Water constantly leaks into the commode … annoying water trickle sound The shower is maybe 2’ x 3’ range. Very very difficult to move around for a larger person Would not allow us ti take glasses up. Rationed us to two chintzy plastic cups. The only garbage can was in the bathroom … maybe a 5” cylinder about 1 ft high. The iron ( got it from downstairs) did not work properly… very poor ergonomically placed sockets. Only one elevator skipped you if people were going from 4th to ground or ground up … we were on 2nd floor. Literally no room per se to store/place two large bags ( travelling 22 days in Italy).

The location was in the port, a few hundred meters from the ferry port.

This is not a 3 star hotel, it is just about a 2 star hotel. The outside and the reception area was nice, but this is where it all ends. Our hotel room was small and the bathroom old and horrible. The shower was right next to the toilet with only a curtain dividing it. When we flushed the toilet we had to wait ages for the water to refill. The 4th floor terrace was small and the swimming pool even smaller. A price for an apperol spritz was €15. The reception staff all looked miserable and unhappy. Breakfast was poor and not worth it. Don't bother having a breakfast at the hotel when there are lovely places to eat everywhere in Sorrento. I would not come back to this hotel, it was horrible.

Chuveiro extremamente pequeno, mal se passava pela porta e dificultava em chegar sequer aos pés por não haver espaço dentro para conseguir dobrar. Sem água, nem frigorífico no quarto! Se quiserem água são 2€ uma garrafa pequena na receção.

O hotel é MARAVILHOSO. Exatamente em frente ao Porto, para quem irá se locomover de ferry é o ideal. O único ponto de atenção é que um transfer para a estação seria interessante. De resto, tenho apenas elogios. Os funcionários são incríveis, o café da manhã também é os quartos são espaçosos

Tesiste hiç bakım yapılmamış. Herşey eski. Kahvaltı hiç yapmadık çünkü yok gibi az . Ama en önemlisi bir defa geldiğimizde kapımız açık bırakılmış oda temizlendikten sonra. Başka bir günde odamızın içinde bize ait olmayan bavul koymuşlardı. Sanırım otelde bir yönetici ve müdür yok.

La inmediatez con el puerto que permite tomarse un ferry desde Nápoles y estar luego a pocos metros del hotel. Por otro lado el personal del hotel fue muy atento y amable. El desayuno excelente.

La falta de frigobar/heladera en la habitación. Por otro lado el cierre de las puertas generaba mucho ruido. Por último el aire acondicionado no enfriaba rápidamente.

Mi è piaciuto tutto, dalla posizione, ai servizi, dalla camera alla colazione...tutto impeccabile.

A szálloda elhelyezkedése kiváló. A medencés teraszt imádtam. A személyzet többsége kedves volt. A szobánk remek volt, a kilátás a szobából, a medencés teraszról pazar volt. A takarítónk nagyon kedves és udvarias volt mindig.

IR-esként a reggelivel kapcsolatban volt hiányérzetem. A személyzet néhány tagja nem volt mindig kedves, figyelmes.

The location of the property was amazing - just had to walk up the big stairs (there was also a lift) to be in the main town, and it was nice to be out of the busy area. Rooftop pool with pool bar was great. Room was basic but was a good size, was good for what we needed as we weren’t in the room much.

Our key cards stopped working a few times, and the aircon was sometimes not very strong and wouldn’t get cold enough

Tudo me agradou! A limpeza, os produtos de banheiro, o chuveiro, o colchão confortável. Conseguimos um upgrade e a varanda era de frente para o mar, foi tudo ótimo. Voltaremos com ctz.

Não tem estacionamento para motos.

Il nostro soggiorno in hotel ha avuto alcuni aspetti molto positivi, ma anche diversi punti che, a nostro avviso, dovrebbero essere migliorati. Aspetti positivi: Vorremmo sottolineare soprattutto la gentilezza del personale della zona piscina e terrazza e degli addetti al buffet. Sono stati molto cordiali, disponibili e attenti alle nostre esigenze per tutto il soggiorno. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato il fatto che il direttore dell’hotel fosse sempre presente e attento al funzionamento della struttura e agli ospiti. La posizione è davvero eccellente. L’hotel si trova proprio di fronte alla zona da cui partono i traghetti per diverse destinazioni e, inoltre, è possibile raggiungere il centro di Sorrento comodamente a piedi.

Aspetti negativi: In camera abbiamo avuto problemi con il phon. Non è possibile utilizzare un asciugacapelli personale con una certa potenza perché salta la corrente. Per noi è stato un problema, perché abbiamo bisogno di una buona potenza per riuscire ad asciugarci bene i capelli. Anche l’aria condizionata non funzionava correttamente e aveva una potenza molto bassa. Anche l’accoglienza alla reception ci ha lasciato piuttosto delusi. In particolare, la ragazza bionda che ci ha accolti è stata piuttosto fredda e ci ha fornito pochissime informazioni. Questo è stato particolarmente problematico per quanto riguarda l’auto e il parcheggio. Riteniamo che l’hotel dovrebbe informare chiaramente i propri ospiti che, al momento della riconsegna dell’auto, bisogna prestare molta attenzione agli orari, perché la polizia può intervenire in qualsiasi momento e fare una multa. Noi avevamo prenotato il servizio per lasciare l’auto custodita per tutta la settimana e avevamo richiesto telefonicamente la riconsegna a un orario preciso. Tuttavia, l’auto ci è stata riconsegnata 10 minuti prima dell’orario da noi richiesto e abbiamo ricevuto una multa, che abbiamo dovuto pagare. L’hotel non si è assunto alcuna responsabilità per quanto accaduto, ma ciò che ci ha dato maggiormente fastidio è stato il fatto che nessuno ci avesse informato preventivamente del rischio. Riteniamo che si tratti di un’informazione molto importante che dovrebbe essere comunicata agli ospiti. Inoltre, riteniamo eccessivo il costo di 30 € al giorno per il parcheggio dell’hotel. Il buffet ci è sembrato piuttosto scarso e di qualità abbastanza mediocre. Anche l’ascensore avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovato o migliorato, perché non ci è sembrato all’altezza del resto della struttura. In conclusione, l’hotel ha una posizione eccellente e dispone di personale molto gentile e professionale nelle zone della piscina, della terrazza e del buffet.

Az utcára nyíló szobába rettenetesen behallatszik a forgalom, és nagyon durván hangosan kattannak az ajtók nyitáskor és záráskor, így minden szomszéd közlekedését lehet hallani éjszaka.

Es el único hotel en el puerto, entonces no hay tanta gente ni ambiente como me gustaría, pero no pasa nada :).

Nessun frigo in camera. Sopratutto per una struttura che lavora prettamente in estate. Pulizia. Un po sporco qui e li. Per il resto nella norma.

Ogni aspetto del soggiorno è stato estremamente positivo: pulizia evidente, stanza confortevole, staff cordialissimo e struttura impeccabile.

Nulla, è stato tutto perfetto.

距离码头固然方便，但就因为太近了，又在转角位置，车水马龙比较吵闹。还有，就是老板在酒店门口还开了饭店，深夜。一些年轻人大喊大叫，放着摇滚音乐，太令人厌烦了！打电话给前台，但是几乎没有效果！太差了！ 此外，厕所的台盆上的玻璃挡板，没有安装牢固，放东西滑落了，竟然还要我们赔偿，收了30欧元，简直无法理喻！ 这是一家我不推荐，也不会再选择的酒店。

Really positive experience! Spent 5 nights here in the middle of August and really enjoyed our stay. We had booked a triple room with ocean view. The room was spacious with a fridge. A/C and a ceiling fan kept the room nice and cool. Location is quite central, with either stairs up or a lift to the town. Atmosphere felt cozy but not too busy. Always was able to find a seat at the pool. At €270 it may be a bit expensive for what it is, though keep in mind it is peak season. Room was always clean and housekeeping did an excellent job, toiletries always restocked. Noise was somewhat elevated in the mornings being beside the port, but nothing offensive. Service was polite and efficient. One annoying thing is the lift is far to small for the hotel and doesn’t have the appropriate capacity.

Piscina piccola e gelida. La sera appena uscito dall'hotel, siamo stati asaalitii dal ristorante adiacente che ci aveva quasi obbligato a cenare da loro, state attenti non siete obbligati. Al mio rifiuto mi sono sentito anche guardare con aria "contraiata" per essere eleganti.

Everything. It was a disgrace. Your reviews on the website are a lie. This is not what l paid for and l certainly never met staff that helped me and the other guests. Many guests complained, especially the Australians. They were disgusted in the food , facilities were terrible. The fact it was so hot there was no bar fridge and coffee facilities. I will be taking this further with booking. Com. I wanted to leave the hotel but there were no vacancies for that period. I hated it so much. And the staff.

Da localização. Aconselho para quem for conhecer a costa Amalfitana usando os ferries. Fica muito próximo ao porto e isso facilita bastante o deslocamento. Também fica próximo ao elevador que serve para nos levar ao centro de Sorrento.

Location was amazing, great access to the port, view from the rooms and pool area at sunset are stunning. Staff are very friendly and room was cleaned daily.

The directions provided to us upon arrival didn’t help us find the lift to get down to the port. Clean directions and maybe a pinned location of where the lift to get down is located would be amazing. Also the pool access is only till 6pm even in summer, we would’ve loved to be in the pool at sunset after a busy day of exploring the Amalfi coast. Otherwise no faults at all

Terrible stay. Rude staff. They don’t even acknowledge or put there head up the greet you. Room was always warm despite the ac at full blast. We could have tolerated the hotel but the ac and staff felt like we were annoyed when asked questions. Except for one at the front desk. Make eye contact with guests. It’s not an unreasonable request. If we could’ve gotten a refund and moved on, we would’ve. I would’ve paid twice the price after that.

Ilmastointi oli, mutta tehokkuus ei paras mahdollinen. Olimme useammassa eri kohteessa matkalla Italiassa ja tämän ilmastointi oli heikoin. Vertailupohjaa siis oli, sama lämpötila muissakin paikoissa. Hintataso korkea, joka tosin oli odotettavissa. Ahdas huone.

Posizione ottima, bellissima camera vista mare, frigobar in camera, aria condizionata funzionante, molto carino il rooftop con tutto il personale del hotel. Ottima colazione con ampia possibilità di scelta. Il Personale della sala colazione davvero gentile, ci hanno offerto anche degli ottimi pancake. Camera Molto pulita. Sicuramente ritorneremo.

Purtroppo il WiFi in camera non funzionava molto bene, i materassi molto duri.

Super Lage direkt am Hafen (sollte man lieber in Zentrumsnähe wohnen wollen eher nicht so zu empfehlen), allerdings ist das Zentrum mit einem Aufzug der ca. 500m weg ist gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr nett. Frühstück ist ein klassisches Stadthotel-Frühstück. Der Ausblick ‚Meerblick‘ hat nicht zu viel versprochen!

Leider sind sie Zimmer etwas hellhörig und an den Wänden um die sehr laute Klimaanlage etwas schimmelig. Am Pool gibt es keine Sonnenschirme, was leider sehr schade ist.

They give us a room without a window and when we asked to change they did you book Standerd room , I don’t know the meaning of this since when standard room has no window, breakfast was poor room was dusty

Biedne raňajky. Nedostatočná čistota. Viditeľná špina.

Bardzo ładny hotel, położony przy porcie. Nieduży, ale wystarczający żeby się schłodzić basen na dachu, przy nim bar, z którego wieczorem rozciąga się piękna panorama na morze i zachód słońca. Bardzo czysto. Wygodna łazienka z kosmetykami i suszarką. Wygodne łóżko. Dobre wi-fi. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Jeśli przyjedziesz wcześniej, możesz zostawić bagaże w recepcji i korzystać z basenu. Śniadanie wystarczające - do wyboru różne rogaliki, bułeczki, ciasta na słodko oraz jajecznica, wędliny, sery, jajka, warzywa, owoce… przy hotelu dwie restauracje z dość dobrym wyborem potraw.

Brak wody w pokoju, minilodówki. Pokoje mocno zróżnicowane jakościowo. Na dwie noce wybraliśmy pokój ekonomiczny (nie był tani) licząc się z tym, że będzie mniejszy niż inne. W naszym pokoju nie było okna, tylko wyjście na mini taras (taki wykafelkowany komin), który przylegał do ściany skalnej i był wysoki na kilka metrów. Wieczorem wilgoć na tarasie. Głośna klimatyzacja. Wszystko do zaakceptowania jeśli traktujesz hotel tylko jako bazę noclegową, ale za mniejszą cenę.

Great location, short walk from ferry port, close to Peter’s Beach, comfortable good size room with balcony, rooftop pool and bar with amazing views to watch sunset, lift, lovely breakfast, friendly staff

El parking tiene un costo de eur 30 por dia y se debe avisar aproximadamente una hora antes de usar el auto para que lo traigan.

The rooftop bar and pool were wonderful. The view and service are exceptional. The restaurant affiliated with the hotel had fantastic food. Wait staff were very friendly, especially for how hot it was. We were happy to get CNN news on the TV. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. I really wanted a pool and a view and this property was perfect for the price.

The mattress was a bit firm. I used the wool blanket as a padding, and it was better. The lobby staff were not cordial upon arrival or through passing.

Good base if you are going on boat trips as it is very close. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms.

The bed sheets felt damp but we were told they were only cold from the air conditioning. The balcony was completely enclosed and very small. Ok if you are a smoker.

Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che mi era stato detto che il parcheggio fosse della struttura per cui non era a pagamento quando poi sono arrivato ho dovuto pagare 30 euro per parcheggiare l auto
