The only thing I was really pleased about was the location of this hotel.

The electricity kept tripping in the room, I went down to resolve this situation to be told to only use the hairdryer in the bathroom, even when doing so the electricity continued to trip even when straightening my hair, the noise on a night in the hotel was ridiculous, the shouting and the continuous noise all through the night. Lastly the breakfast was inedible.

Y el aire acondicionado donde pusieron a mis padres una noche debido a la inundacion, no iba bien ... Varias cosas a mejorar .

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación,no hay aparcamiento pero tienen un parking por 15€ el día,se agradece bastante,la comida bastante bien la verdad.

No me gustó que en el todo incluido solo entran bebidas de grifo,ñ(todas muy edulcoradas) y el agua de grifo, hemos estado mal con la tripa toda la semana,por otro lado, hemos estado toda la semana con un solo ascensor porque el segundo ascensor ha estado averiado todo el rato,las actuaciones nocturnas son bastante flojas y durante el día igual ,el aire acondicionado en los contenedores está bastante alto,es incómodo, sin embargo en los pasillos (que no hay ningún tipo de ventilación) hace un calor horrible

El aire acondicionado de la habitación funcionaba a ratos, las tumbonas de la piscina poco cómodas, y salir antes de las 10 de la habitación incluso alas 9:20 de la mañana ya nos tocaron ala puerta ,las chicas de la limpieza que teníamos que salir.

Atención, cuidado, simpatía en todo el personal, recepción, spa, bar, animación, limpieza y restaurante. La comida está muy buena.

En la piscina del spa me faltó que tubiera chorros

Check in easy and quick. Room was clean and a nice size. The bed was very comfy. We hired a kettle as we like a brew in a morning, this was £20 refunded on the return of the kettle. there is a safe which is also payable and a deposit for the key. We stayed B&B. The breakfast choice was not to our liking and there was limited choice for us. Location is good and close to all Salou as to offer. Limited sunbeds around the pool which you have to get out yourself and very few umbrellas. The pool had a lot of debris in and on it, we only saw it been cleaned once during our week stay. we had a pool/sea view room. People reserve beds early. However the beach is a short stroll away and has plenty of beds to hire for the day. We would stay here again as the location is good, staff are friendly and helpful and the room is clean with very comfy beds.

La comida es variada y rica en general. La habitación en el piso 9 con muy buenas vistas al mar y bastante grande, con la ducha y el wc separados con dos puertas independientes, el aire acondicionado digital funciona bastante bien.

Lo peor ha sido que sólo hay dos ascensores para todo el hotel que ya de por sí es poco y encima se estropeó uno de ellos y no le han arreglado en 6 días, hemos tenido que subir y bajar bastantes veces andando porque esperar al único ascensor era una pesadilla...tardaba en llegar y una vez montados paraba en todas las plantas.

Plusieurs DYSFONCTIONNEMENTS majeurs gâchent notre séjour : ASCENSEURS : Un des deux ascenseurs est hors service depuis plusieurs jours. Se déplacer avec une poussette est devenu un véritable CALVAIRE en raison de temps d'attente extrêmement longs, sans qu'aucune solution ne soit proposée malgré les alertes d'autres clients : ATTENTION 15 min d’attente devant l’ascenseur. Au bout de 10 jours, TOUJOURS PAS RÉPARÉS. Restauration : La qualité et la variété du buffet sont très inférieures au descriptif. Le pain n’a jamais été frais ! On vous fait payer l’eau au buffet UNE HONTE. Piscine : L'entretien laisse à désirer, l’eau est pourrie et les règles de sécurité ne sont pas respectées (plongeons intempestifs non encadrés), gâchant la tranquillité des lieux. Soyez prêt à descendre devant la porte de la piscine à 8h pour pouvoir obtenir un transat La piscine ouvre à 9h. La Clim : un flaque d’eau dans la chambre à cause d’une climatisation défectueuse. Cet hôtel m’a dégouté de l’Espagne.

Todo, habitación sucia, instalaciones sucias, la TV no ficcilnaba, la piscina masificada y sucia, el bufete escaso en variedad, instalaciones viejas y masificada. Un desastre.

El ascensor no funcionaba y estaba en la octava planta me tocaba subir y bajar por la escalera ya que solo había un único ascensor para todo el hotel fatal y la piscina el agua muy turbia sucia.

Very dated beds not comfortable air is rubbish

Stayed in Salou park 1 for 8 nights. Had a room on 5th floor with a lovely sea view. 3 beds in room and fridge to use. No problem with room at all. Air conditioning was a life saver & worked well. Plenty of entertainment every night for kids & shows too ( Acrobat show, live singer , karaoke etc). Breakfast was fine, selection of eggs, pancakes, bread, rolls, yogurts, bacon, cerial etc. Cleaners were always on the floor every day, I just brought out my dirty towels and bin to them and got new ones each day. As I always keep a do not disturb sign on my room. Only issue with the evening entertainment was that it was beside the pool, which isn't a problem but the pool is not sectioned off and there is seats & tables right beside the pool. I found this very dangerous as there's kids everywhere & it takes seconds for an accident to happen if someone was to slip as it's obviously darker in the evening. The pool should be closed off somehow or have barriers around it when the sun loungers are put away & the tables are set out for the evening. The lifts are a problem. Very slow and you could be waiting minutes for it to arrive. If it does arrive, it's usually full of people already who are going to their floor. So you have to wait again. When you do get to get into it eventually, you could end up at multiple floors with people wanting to get in before reaching your own floor. Theres 2 lifts beside eachother for the whole hotel full of 1000s of people. Had a great stay otherwise & no other problems. Staff were all helpful & friendly. Pool was lovely during the day. Hotel close to everything. **If you want to avoid the hill on way up to hotel, we cut through hotel 2 reception, out passed the pool and up into hotel 1. It saves the climbing of the hill in the heat.**

I loved how close it was to the beach, it was super clean and the views were amazing!

Stayed in 4R Salou park 1, was exactly what it said it was, mid range and perfect for short trips. Pool disappointing but Johan in the pool bar of 4R Salou park II is the best cocktail maker, best cocktails I’ve ever had, excellent much better than those behind the bar of 4R Salou park 1 and much friendlier.

The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to the city center and only about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The nearest beach is clean, sandy, and well-maintained. However, the overall hotel experience was below what I would expect from a 4-star property. While the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous, several aspects of the service and facilities were disappointing. Parking costs €15 per day, which is significantly more expensive than most other parking options in the surrounding area. In addition, the in-room safe is not included in the room rate and requires an extra fee. Room cleanliness was also an issue. During the last two days of our stay, our rooms were not properly cleaned; only the towels were replaced. During 9 days trip, we had to request e times for refills of soap, shampoo, and toilet paper, as these were not replenished automatically. Another disappointment was the bar area. Drinks served indoors were provided in plastic cups, which felt inappropriate for a hotel of this category. In addition, many of the chairs in the indoor bar were often wet due to water constantly dripping from the roof, making the area uncomfortable to use. The swimming pool photos displayed on booking websites are also somewhat misleading, as the pool appears much larger in the pictures than it actually is. Furthermore, the hotel does not provide towels for the swimming pool, so guests must bring their own. Breakfast was average, with a standard selection of food that remained exactly the same every day. Overall, the location is the hotel's biggest strength, but the service, cleanliness, maintenance issues, and additional charges make it difficult to justify its 4-star rating.

Just returned from 10 days at this hotel and am happy with our choice. Food good, relaxed atmosphere and not the usual scramble for sun loungers, plenty of loungers and tables to cater for all guests, also refreshing to see towels being removed from empty sun loungers. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff very friendly. Location was excellent and very close to the urban centre and beaches. Things I think the hotel could improve on: WiFi was intermittent throughout the hotel (ok in reception and main lobby), entertainment is ok but quite repetitive with acrobats and similar shows, we ended up going out most nights, even though we were all inclusive. Hotel is starting to look a little tired and could do with modernisation in some parts. Overall a pleasant holiday… would we stay at this hotel again? I would say yes. 👍🏼

We left this hotel this morning and I don’t know where to start, it’s a mixed bag. We have travelled quite a lot and stayed in many 5 star, 4 star and 3 star hotels, so comparing them is quite easy. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel…far from it, in fact we stayed in a 3 star in Mallorca the year before and that hotel had way more going on and variety than this one. We stayed on the 8th floor which is the very top and getting the lifts was a lot of time wasted. Some times they would work other times they wouldn’t. Not ideal if you’re elderly or impaired. I would request a lower level when booking. The swimming pool - well we only visited the main one as the ones that belong to the sister site looked murky! The main pool however had black bits floating in it - the grouting was all black and mouldy beneath the water so we figured it was that, constantly full of hair floating around and both my partner and daughter got ear infections whilst we were there resulting in a few trips to the pharmacy. You can’t play with a ball in the pool (absolute madness, never been in a hotel where you can’t play catch in the pool) and also no inflatables allowed. My main concern about the swimming pool is there is no lifeguard! Again never been away where no lifeguard is present - especially a family holiday hotel! Please bare this in mind if bringing small children. Sun beds - one good thing about this hotel is they don’t open the doors for outside until 9am - we didn’t see many sunbed wars but if you want one around the main pool you do need to be there for 9am. They have got many sunbeds on the upper terrace also if they’ve all gone around the pool. Bar - can’t fault the bar in fact I think they’re the most hardworking of all the staff, at times they were miserable and would only serve you 2 drinks at a time but other than that the variety of drinks was vast and they were always cleaning the bar area. Entertainment - there was NONE!! This is where it all goes down hill - if your a family who want to sit by the pool drinking all day doing nothing then this hotel is perfect for you but if your a family like mine that enjoys getting involved in daily activities etc. then please book somewhere else, this hotel has nothing to offer. Aqua aerobics in the afternoon sometimes and that’s it! Oh and a come watch the staff make sangria! Really? No real competitions or silly pool games - just flat all day long with the same cd on repeat every single day and the night time entertainment- well we fortunately take a large amount of cash and thank god we did because we went out most of the nights as the entertainment just wasn’t great. Majority of the staff don’t speak English either so understanding what was going on was hard work. Food - I’m not going to give this a bad rating as I’m a fussy eater and struggle in all inclusive everywhere so I don’t think it’s fair, however minimal choice for a supposed 4 star hotel! Location - 10/10 it was the perfect location close to everything. Rooms - rooms were ok, did have an issue with our door where we got locked in and then after it had been ‘fixed’ had trouble getting in it everyday! But rooms had all you needed. Maids - maids were always smiling and cheery - probably the only staff that will acknowledge you. They changed the beds everyday and fresh towels. Don’t think they did a deep clean and I can’t be sure they cleaned the sheets most days but no complaints from us. Overall - the hotel has huge potential - but it really isn’t a quality hotel, the entertainment is the biggest issue here along with the cleanliness of the pool. The surroundings of all the hotel are lovely it just needs a big improvement and a big think about the entertainment programme they have. Top tips - when visiting salou I highly recommend the house of illusions - an absolutely fantastic night. Portuventura theme park was good - not as big as I expected though. Uncle Sam’s diner had the BEST English breakfast and staff were all fantastic - we went 3 times in our 10 day stay, highly recommend, also the guiness tavern - their food was also exceptional. Salou itself was lovely. Will we be back? No… we don’t visit the same place twice regardless of how good or bad it is as we want to visit as many places as we can but if asked would I recommend salou - definitely yes, would I recommend this hotel, probably not.

My partner and I have just left after spending a week in Salou Park Resort 1 and I am absolutely appalled by many things we endured during our stay. 1. Staff treatment: on the second night in our room (510) the air conditioning unit caused the roof to cave in and flood our room. This caused damage to our suitcase including all our belongings, as they were drenched in filthy water. We immediately alerted the receptionist about this issue as the roof was still leaking and has a massive water bubble that was ready to give way. The response we got was “your issue has been added to the list for the maintenance man to look at at some point today” when asked roughly what time he showed an extensive list of jobs and shrugged his shoulders. This was at 9;30 am. We headed to breakfast and when we came back to the room there was flakes of plaster and a towel left on the floor. We then returned to reception to ask what was happening and we were told the issue was “fixed”. There remained a huge water bubble in the roof ans a hole in the plastering. My partner had been on the phone to the easyJet rep who suggested that for our safety we requested a room change. The receptionist just shook his said and said no no no not possible. We refused to stay in that room and argued with the receptionist for over 3 hours. The receptionist said “I’ve made the final decision and you will not be moving rooms, this issue is done now”. Luckily I had other members of my family staying in a nearby hotel who had to come over to speak on our behalf as the receptions had refused to answer or reply to us. Within 30 seconds of my family member talking to the same receptionist who had ignored our requests he was happy to give my family member a room change ( he didn’t know it was for us) when asked what the room number was he said ahhh you again. Finally after 4 hours of back and forth (and a whole day of our holiday sacrificed) they magically found us an alternative room after being told all morning they were fully booked and a new room would absolutely not be an option, we finally got a different room. We had paid an extra €140 to have a sea view. Our new room (320) was not a sea view, but rather attached to the sun terrace offering 0 privacy. When asked if we will be compensated the girl just shook her head and said the best she could offer was use of the spa, which we refused. Another issue we witnessed with the reception staff is the complete lack of manners. When we check in we paid extra to have the safe. We were given the wrong key 3 times! And not once did they apologise. They just handed us another one to try and hoped for the best. An important note, when we switched rooms we requested the new key for the safe and were informed not to worry as the same key opens all the safes in every room which to me is extremely concerning. A third issue with our room was there was no phone. Again we informed the receptionist of this on the first night and were told we would get one sent up. The phone never arrived 2. The pool: the swimming pool is absolutely filthy. It is so cloudy that you can’t even see your feet when you’re in the water. I have seen this point being mentioned in previous reviews from weeks ago and yet the issue is still persistent. There was black dirt floating about the water as well as clumps of hair. Safe to say we used the pool once on the first day and never again. Additionally, there are no umbrellas around the pool, some people had small blue parasols which clip onto the bed bit these are limited. 3. General Cleanliness: the reason we booked this hotel over others were the reviews praising the hotel for being so clean. This was far from what I experienced during my stay. Other than the disgusting water that was left on the room floor from the air conditioning unit, the level of cleanliness throughout was in my opinion not up to standard. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were very friendly and attentive. However throughout the hotel I was disgusted by some of the things I seen. There was a pile of toenail clippings on and around chairs in reception, the doors and corridor walls were scratched, marked, dented and even burnt in some rooms, broken glass on the carpet on the hallways, numerous times at breakfast plates and cups were dirty, around the pool area was never moped or brushed and the floor was often slippery because of the sun cream and pool water. On our last night at around 9pm staff were painting the stairwell and just painting right over dirty marks and dents on the walls. No wet paint sign was ever put up and they chose possibly the busiest time to decide to paint a high traffic area of the hotel in peak holiday season 4. Noise: our new room was located right beside the emergency fire door, which was propped open permanently by a crisp packet. This couldn’t be closed as the handle to the fire door had broken off . This lead to a stairwell attached to the restaurant and every night at exactly 11:30pm we could hear the racket of what I presume was the dishwashers cleaning the cups and mugs to prepare for breakfast. This lasted around an hour every single night ( didn’t bother us too much as we were usually awake at that time but if anyone is with a young family this would definitely be loud enough to wake you out of your sleep. The walls are that thin that I could hear every time our neighbour rolled over on the squeaky beds! 5. Shower room: we had a late pick up (7pm) and asked when we checked out at 10am if there was a shower room available and places to leave our bags. The same receptionist who we had trouble with at the beginning of the week said yes and gave us the key to the luggage hold. We returned to the hotel at around 5:30 and asked about the shower room. It was only then he informed us that it is located in the spa in the other hotel however it closes at 6pm and we won’t have time to use it. This was never mentioned at check out earlier that morning when we first enquired. Again absolutely abysmal customer service skills from this man 6. Location: the only single positive I can find about this hotel is the location and the proximity to the beach and strip. I have never wanted to come home from a holiday before but this experience really did ruin our holiday. I’m usually very good at always looking for the positives and would not be overly fussy but this really was a horrible experience and I highly recommend avoiding it at all costs.

Es un poco complicado que algunos de los miembros del personal no hablen el español a la perfección. Las piscinas con el agua muy turbia y llenas de basura. No hay nada para comer ni tomar, solo botellas de agua y tienes que bajar hasta la recepción a buscarlas

la ubicación era muy buena, a 3 minutos de la playa bajando unas escaleras, la habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda, las vistas preciosas. El buffet del desayuno también muy bueno.

Quizá un poco caro en comparación a otros hoteles de las mismas características

El colchón era cómodo y que había bastantes piscinas.

Que la gente se reservará las hamacas sin estar tendría que estar prohibido como en otros hoteles.

The hotel was lovely and very clean throughout, room was a good size and it was cleaned everyday. The location was great only a 5 minute walk to the main strip. Making it easy to get to all the restaurants and shops. We had breakfast included, unfortunately it wasn't the best the food was often cold and didn't have the best taste.

Entre los millones de cosas que podría decir que no me gustaron, resaltaré que después de pagar 150€ por noche, nos obsequiaron con una habitación sin aire acondicionado, que ni siquiera disponíamos de tv porque tampoco funcionaba, y después de explicar nuestra situación , aún tuve que hacer yo de técnica de mantenimiento junto a mi hijo de 9 años yendo a comprobar el cuadro de luz para corroborar el estado de los plomos. Después de la odisea para que al final se nos cediese otra habitación, ya que estábamos a más de 28 grados por la noche y sin aire acondicionado, nos trasladamos a una habitación contigua, con la sorpresa que después de ducharnos por la mañana después de la noche que habíamos pasado, mi hijo se encontró con al menos 2 cucarachas del tamaño de un paquete de tabaco saliendo del lavabo! Todo en conjunto, algo insólito en mi experiencia como huésped en toda mi vida. El trato fue pésimo, 0 resolutivos y lo único que se me reembolsó fue la noche ya contratada que no dormimos allí, ya que evidentemente, decidimos irnos a otro hotel.

Very disappointed with our stay. We initially weren’t given the room we had paid extra for and had to provide proof before it was corrected. The room also had a persistent unpleasant smell throughout our 10-night stay. The lifts were unreliable, often taking several minutes to arrive and frequently malfunctioning. Staff gave conflicting information about what was included in the all-inclusive package, meaning we missed out on items that should have been available. Cleanliness was poor, with pigeons around the dining and pool areas, even bird droppings in the pool, and our room wasn’t cleaned to an acceptable standard, with stained bedding and sand left in the shower throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel fell well below expectations in terms of service, hygiene, maintenance and communication, and we left extremely disappointed.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, food was good, entertainment every night, polite staff, great location, good all round, nice guests no complaints. Stayed with my partner for 5 nights and enjoyed the experience, it was very hot and sunny 🌞

Está muy viejo, piscina sucia, instalaciones algunas rotas, ascensores colapsados, wifi lento, comida aunque variedad no de calidad. La bajada a la playa o muchísimas escaleras o una cuesta horrorosa.

We are easy going seasoned travellers who take things as they come..but wouldn't recommend this hotel to British holiday makers. Good location for beaches, bars and shops. However.... On 2 consecutive days, no cleaner came. We had to ask for fresh towels etc. Only 2 lifts to upper floors and waited on average 20min to get in a lift. Staff weren't going to let us in for breakfast after having waited 45min to get the lift ( one lift was out of order which seems to be a regular occurrence). I'm a wheelchair user and don't have the luxury of using the stairs. We were all inclusive but had difficulty finding appetising food. Menu consisted of lots of fish dishes, snails, pigs knuckles, bland soups , pastas and dried turkey etc. Breakfast wasn't great but that and the salad bar was what we ate most of during our stay. I acknowledge TV isn't a priority but having had to spend 2 days in my room ( health issues) only 1 channel had english language BBC news. Subtitles would have been good for films etc. No children's channels either! Evening entertainment...what entertainment??? Unless you could speak the local language, French or Russian you couldn't singalong or line dance to the music. Bingo was a joke, caller got mixed up with english numbers 37- 47? No8- 88? . There was a constant stream of young football teams staying . No objection to youngsters having a fun holiday but there didnt seem to be many responsible adults supervising them. They were loud and running around the stairways, corridors , chapping everyone's doors and playing about with the lifts etc.. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. It's a push to rate it ☆☆☆ . Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere 😔 .

Hotel is nice, it’s clean & the rooms are nice also. Food can be a hit or a miss depends on what you are looking for. The pool hasn’t been cleaned the whole time we have been here, it’s disgusting or though it didn’t stop me going in as the weather was so hot , they also have 4-5 umbrellas for all the guests. List you are lucky to to wait or they stop @ every floor & can take to long. You are not allowed anything in the pool ball etc unless it a rubber ring for the little ones. Stopped a few times in the street to ask if I wanted drugs any drugs or though that’s nothing todo with the hotel. After all said & done holiday was good but won’t return. Forgot to say we had a pool view of which was also a sea view. It was stunning. Also no issues getting a sunbed.

Do not book! This place is terrible. Currently staying here room 321. Arrived into room full of ants they changed the room however it looks nothing like on the photos. Litteraly mis-sold us. There is not pool with swim bar. That pool is actually filthy. I went in and here was black dirt floating all around us. Will never step my foot into that pool and im on my 1st day here. Showed it to receptionist called Sergio.We heard anothe couple raises this with management day before nothing was done, pool not cleaned just water level raised. The 2 pools on the other side are just dirty as this one. Water looks milky the standard level below 1 star. The coridors reminds me of hotels back in a day in 80 in socialistic countries. Walls with stains also the coridors have musty smells, not pleasant whats so ever. Food is bad. The dining hall looks nothing like on picture, looks like factory canteen not a 4 star hotel. Not waiter, just limites staff clearing plates looking like they are not happy to work there. Food that is supose to be worm is cold not much choice and same everyday. Not dresh reused cucumbers from last night, chicken was hard as if it was re-heated from the day before, desserts also very limited, same every day and upto 5 choice i dont count oreo buiscit as desert. Drinks- if you looking for nice coctails please use bars outside as the one in the hotel are non drinkable. The only thing u can enjoy is sangria which i cant have. The resort lacks in music, there is none all day around the pool area it is dead. In the evening waitres wont even help you with drinks, apparently because im all inclusive ans not paying for them.Honestly this whole hotel is a scam and for the first time i exoerienced cultural shock and i travel a lot.

My wife and I have stayed in a 4 star hotel in salou before and loved i this is this is definitely not a4 star hotel, we are stying in rokm 30 on the bottom floor, breakfast is not very nice, and very little choice, ants everywhere, or broken, old dirty sealant on the wardrobe doors the decor is from the 90s and nearly every bedroom door is an old wooden mahogany door and the frames are all swollen, Air conditioning is non existent there is a safe in the room but you have you have to rent the barrel to use it which we never had to do before, you get tiny sachets of shampoo and soap, no nice bits like shower caps, tissues etc, before we came here I checked about towel rental and it said they rent towels but when we arrived they don't, music at the pool is diabolical, pool's are dirty and never cleaned, havent seen 1 person checking the clorine levels or using a cleaning net, no waiter service at the pool, I asked for a simple glass of fresh milk for our room for a cup of tea and I may aswell have asked for the contents of the safe, we were woken up this am to a power washer cleaning right outside the room, I asked for the music at the pool to be either changed or switched off and nothing happend,, 5 songs on a loop all day long, like the latest review here there is a damp musty smell in the corridors not a very clean hotel, the bathroom was" cleaned" and i reckon Stevie Wonder would so a better job WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN HERE AGAIN, photos added of rhe ACTUAL HOTEL NOT PHOTOSHOPPED

The elevator system was a not easy and definitely need upgrade. The bathroom we had was no up to date and need possibly upgrade. Even with cleaning everyday, The swimming pool was not probably filtering.

Food was ok… nothing of a great choice for a young child of 6 not even breaded chicken or anything not cooked in spices or sauce for a child. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels by very polite laundry ladies. Some Staff especially in bar area came across as rude or didn’t want to be there (especially the female bar staff) and the entertainment for children was very poor and adult entertainment was terrible wasn’t much thought gone into it we stayed a week and was very bored with it so went out there’s only so many dancing acts and men balancing on chairs we wanted to see , no good singing acts or tribute singers or anything. Staff would train each other and dance of an afternoon by the pool on stage and have Same song on repeat for ages like 2 hours drive us insane so we had to leave . Lifts need desperate attention and was either slow or not working my adult daughter got stuck in it once and doors opened onto a brick wall not a great experience This hotel clearly needs an upgrade of staff training and need more thorough planning of entertaining the guests paying good money to stay it just isn’t adequate. In the week we stayed 100s of school children stayed that were no problem to us being there but the noise and disruptive behaviour they made in the restaurant area was absolutely unbearable when eating your meals we couldn’t even talk to each other one evening as was so loud . I believe this is the hotel’s bread and butter by having these schools stay. This is there responsibility to ensure they don’t misbehave they were even spitting on guests one evening over the balcony area when guest were outside watching entertainment . Staff did sort this matter as the guest they spat at had a baby and she was very unhappy and distraught . The hotel we paid half board and was expensive and definitely NOT worth it .

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with some positives, but there were also several issues that would prevent us from returning. The biggest highlight was the location. The hotel is especially well situated for the smaller beach nearby, which I would highly recommend. It's much quieter and more enjoyable than the larger beach. The all-inclusive food was also excellent, with plenty of variety at every meal, and dishes were replenished very quickly, so there was rarely anything unavailable. It was also a nice touch that wine and beer were included with dinner. We stayed on the sixth floor and had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, cleanliness was the biggest disappointment. When we opened the sofa bed, several false eyelashes fell out from inside it, which immediately made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The toilet bowl also appeared unclean throughout our stay, although it may have been permanently stained rather than dirty. While there were wall-mounted soap dispensers, the complimentary soap bars were never replenished. We also had to request additional toilet paper because it wasn't replaced during our stay, even after the bed linen had been changed. One evening, another guest knocked on our door to warn us that there was excrement on the corridor carpet between the lifts and our room. Thankfully, this was eventually cleaned, but it was an unpleasant experience that should never occur in a hotel. The lifts were another major downside. They were extremely busy, unreliable, involved long waits, and at times felt unsafe. The entertainment was average at best. The restaurant staff were consistently pleasant and hardworking, but some of the bar staff left a poor impression. One member of staff, Inga, was particularly unfriendly. On one occasion I stood waiting at the bar for around five minutes while she chatted with a Spanish customer over coffee. I was the only guest waiting. She then came over to serve me but continued the same conversation while standing directly in front of me, meaning I had to wait another couple of minutes before she actually took my order. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. In contrast, Isabel and Richard deserve special recognition. They were warm, welcoming, and engaging with all guests regardless of nationality, and their excellent customer service certainly did not go unnoticed. On another evening, a man who appeared to be the bar manager, although he wasn't wearing an ID badge, questioned how many people were in our group when I ordered six drinks, despite explaining that two members of our party were sitting outside. As all-inclusive guests, it felt unnecessary to be challenged in this way. Another issue, which many other reviewers have mentioned, was the number of youth football and school groups staying at the hotel. At times, the noise levels around the pool, lobby and corridors was overwhelming, with children running around and behaving boisterously. Yet the lifeguard seemed more concerned about a couple quietly throwing a ball to one another than addressing the genuinely disruptive, noisy behaviour. The inconsistency was difficult to understand. During our holiday we visited friends staying at another four-star hotel in Salou, and the difference in quality was obvious. Based on our experience, I don't feel this hotel meets the standard expected of a four-star property. While it has an excellent location, good food, and some pleasant staff members, the cleanliness, customer service in the bar, and overall management fall well short of what we expected. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and, in my opinion, it feels much closer to a two-star standard than a four-star one
