We loved this property. The purpose of our trip was to relax and do nothing and this property provided exactly that. We stayed in the deluxe villa which was super spacious with plenty of areas to lounge around. The pool was fantastic, lots of sun and so much private garden scenery to admire and enjoy all the natural wildlife. Everyone on the property was amazing and super friendly which made out time there that much better. We had breakfast included and there was ample variety made fresh for you every day. We also enjoyed the live music at the Tapas Bar to relax at during the evening. We also had high tea at the property too! Close walk to the beach (less than 5 minutes) and a free shuttle to the shopping center. Nearby walking distance to supermarket and other restaurants if you do no wish to eat at the accommodation.

My partner and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary at the Bale and it was exceptional! We were met with the best onsite team who catered for our needs during our stay and were so pleasant to talk to. The villa is beautiful and we enjoyed our private pool to the maximum.

Отличного качества бельё и полотенца. Отличный трансфер. На ресепшен выдают билеты на пляж, пляж прямо через дорогу, идти минут 5. На пляже отличный сервис, несколько кафе, цены недорогие. Два лежака и зонтик 100 тысяч рупий. Также можно взять пляжные полотенца, по цене не подскажу, приходили со своими. Пляж пригоден для купания, не хуже чем Меласти, может больше камней при входе в воду, зато нет такого сильного отлива как в Меласти. До Меласти пол часа на такси. В ресторане на территории виллы очень хорошие завтраки, большой выбор блюд, внимательный персонал. Также прекрасно функционирует рум сервис, заказывали ужин на виллу, цены приемлемые. В 7 минутах ходьбы от виллы супермаркет, аптека и обменник. Курс на острове везде одинаковый, также обменник есть на пляже.

We really loved this resort. It was a total haven in Bali, the private villa within the resort had a large pool , plus a sun lounge area on the lawn , fabulous outdoor shower ( we never used the indoor shower) and a magnificent bath with full glass surrounds. The restaurant & breakfast were just great , we mainly used it for breakfast . The two large resort pools were also wonderful and we used them quite a bit. Staff were a standout , helpful , friendly , above & beyond, not that we need much, just lovely people, from the front desk, drivers, restaurant & housekeeping who service the room twice daily with lovely touches. The car service to the local shopping/restaurant zone "Bali Collection" works seamlessly via a dedicated App with many other handy functions to enhance your stay. We also used the hotels arrangement with the Canna Beach Club , upscale beach club , beautiful water , pools , restaurant & bar. A short drive in The Balé shuttle. Just 5 minutes walk is Geger Beach , semi private, a beach done completely right , lounges , umbrellas for rent, massage , beautiful water , food & for us Melbourne coffee snobs a couple of young guys with a machine turning out fine brews in a vibey little hut just before the beach. I could have stayed at that beach for weeks. Hotel provides towels in a bag and tickets , but it's only 10000 Rp for 2 adults to walk in. We also went in early each morning on a 4 km walking loop.

Each individual villa is beautifully appointed. Each villa was spacious with plenty of places to relax. The star was the pool. Perfect for a dip! The onsite Spa had many wonderful treatments. The staff was very thoughtful, friendly and accommodating! Beach access too! Close to many great restaurants and resorts. Loved the free shuttle around Nosa Dua.

The only slight downside was the proximity of some villas to the roadway. During my stay I could hear loud motorcycles etc driving by the busy street.

Despite good breakfasts the dinners were very disappointing. Overcooked vegetables, fish and meats, a lack of simple fresh local foods. Re location: we would choose beach side next time . We had some trouble with our wifi and hot tap in shower , not a huge problem , we were on holiday 😊

The staff was extremely kind and helpfull. The butique style of the hotel with limited number of villas and guests created a super private and relaxed atmosphere. Architecture of the facility is timeless and captivating. We had everything what we needed and wished. Food was excellent.

We stayed 8 nights in a private pool villa. It was exceptionally gorgeous. The outdoor day bed by the pool was lush. The staff were always attentive and friendly. The generous breakfast was delicious. I had a Japanese massage at the Day Spa. The hotel helped organise a scooter for our stay taking the hassle out of everything. They can organise anything you need. Overall this is a super sleek classy hotel.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Every detail reflected a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. A special thank you to the entire team for making my stay memorable. Experiences like this are the reason guests return again and again. The place was fantastic, we had such a great time, the facilities are very beautiful, our room was soooo beautiful n homely🥰 the staff is very friendly n their app makes communication seamless n the responses are swift.

The hotel should consider some technology and automate the room amenities like lights, curtains etc.

我和我太太一共住了两天，刚入住时候酒店接待很好，详细交代了房屋设施和酒店服务，还让我们下载了酒店app，用来使用酒店服务。特色的点在于可以送早餐上门，然后晚十点前有免费接驳车可以往返努沙杜瓦地区（提前预定）。美中不足是步行至我们的35号别墅路途有点稍远，且没有摆渡车。刚进屋时候闻到屋子里有一点潮湿的味道，可能是沿海地区都有的味道，也可能是竹子顶棚的事情。刚入住当天我太太的手链就遗失在游泳池附近了，我们找了两天都没找到。但是退房当天清洁人员仅仅十分钟就找到了，我们十分感谢酒店的服务。值得一提的是，酒店的早餐非常丰盛且美味，尤其是印尼炒面及法式吐司，值得五星好评。为我们的旅行画了一个圆满的句号。

This is a return trip. I love the property’s cleanliness, tranquility and the amazing staff who are care with genuine hearts. They made the stay very comfortable!

WiFi was poor during this trip. Some connectivity on and off, but never stayed connected the full day.

Our stay at The Bale Nusa Dua was genuinely exceptional from beginning to end. What truly made this resort stand out wasn’t just the beautiful villas or luxury atmosphere, but the incredible staff throughout the entire property. Every single member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, polite, and genuinely helpful. They always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and informed about everything around the Nusa Dua area. Their hospitality felt sincere and personal, which made the experience even more special. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and extremely well maintained. Housekeeping cleaned the room twice a day, and every time we returned the villa felt fresh, organised, and perfectly prepared. The attention to detail was outstanding and really added to the luxury feel of the stay. The facilities inside the villa were excellent and everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. One thing we really appreciated was the complimentary cab service within the Nusa Dua area. It made getting around incredibly convenient and stress free, especially when visiting nearby beaches, restaurants, and attractions. It’s a small touch that made a huge difference during our stay. The food at the restaurant was also fantastic. Every meal we had was fresh, high quality, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was especially enjoyable, and the overall dining experience matched the luxury standard of the resort perfectly. Overall, The Bale Nusa Dua exceeded expectations in every way. The peaceful atmosphere, immaculate villas, excellent food, and especially the warmth and professionalism of the staff made this one of the best resort experiences we’ve had. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Bali.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr Idyllisch gestaltet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets zuvorkommend. Der Service war super. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Flughafentransfer und der kostenlose Chauffeurservice innerhalb von Nusa Dua. Die Villa und der Pool sind traumhaft schön. Das Essen war sehr gut. Kann das Resort nur weiterempfehlen, war begeistert.

The service was amazing and the villa was so clean and comfortable. Doors in the bathroom opened to the pool which was a great size. The food was also excellent!

Nothing we loved everything!

Very stylish beautiful simplistic resort. Easy to get to and perfectly clean with great amenities. The choice of soaps, moisturiser in room were top quality. The room and pool in villa were massive, At least 6 to 7 metres long and perfect for decent swims. Bed come and pillows perfect with variety of hard n soft. Air cond and fan kept temperature perfectly. Staff were really cheerful, happy and helpful, a shout out to Imelda from reception who quickly sorted any issue or request. The food in restaurant was delicious and plenty of variety which was important as we were there for Nyepi Day. Only 1 neg food experience... Worst ever spring rolls / Lumpi. Rendang was a stand out as were steaks and my gosh the morning juices were delicious. Big pools also great... Some other reviews complained about stairs although they were not arduous plus there is a flat walking path alternative. We had a couple session in spa, my partner had plenty of 'Knots' which were worked on with skill. My 3 hr spa treatment which was included facial was incredible... very very impressed. Lovely positive experience at this resort.

No flyspray nor coils in our door bale area and insects were a big problem in evening. Only bad dish from kitchen was spring rolls, inside content was almost 'stew' like, wet and awful taste. Outside was well over fried to almost burnt.... inedible. We ate in restaurant several times and also room service. We had to request dishes be extra hot after 3rd delivery as quite lukewarm and we had a room closest to kitchen. The resort could do with an activity area like pool table or chess etc would be my only improvement recommendation, apart from better insect management or provide coils.

Our second visit to the Bale and it didn't disappoint. Extremely friendly staff, lovely facilities and a very relaxing stay.

We ate in the Tapas restaurant one night and we were the only ones there so it lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Luxurious and spacious accommodations with friendly service.

No direct sea view or access.

The property is well located, and access to Canna Beach Club is definitely a plus. The private pool is quite big, and we also enjoyed the outdoor bed, which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the perfect experience, despite the very high price we paid for 9 nights (almost €3,000). Since we came directly from another 5-star resort in Ubud, we could easily compare the difference in quality. First of all, the main door knob fell off the very first time we tried to lock the door (though it was repaired quickly). The sliding doors to the pool and garden were almost stuck; my wife couldn’t open them at all, and even I had to struggle. They attempted to fix one in the first days without success, and only after 6 nights was one door properly repaired. During rain, water entered the bathroom beneath the glass wall. The furniture feels outdated and gives off a strange odor (including inside the wardrobe). The main wooden room door was also broken, even the staff sometimes struggled to close it properly. The garden walls show clear water infiltration damage, with sections falling apart and stained black. Breakfast was generally good, but not always exactly what we ordered. On the positive side, the staff were always kind and helpful, and we know it wasn’t their fault. However, overall, we don’t believe the experience was worth the money, considering the standard expected from a 5-star property.

Beautiful, well appointed villas in a more secluded part of Nusa Dua but only a short walk from all the main areas. We stayed in the Deluxe One Bedroom Private Pool Villa, and it was outstanding. Very spacious with a lovely pool and outdoor day bed. The breakfast at the hotel was also excellent and the staff did everything to accommodate us throughout our stay. Special shoutout to both Dita and Bayu who were amazing during our stay! Another great service was the private chauffeur offered to take you to dinner and collect you. Highly recommend The Bale to anyone wanting a relaxing child-free stay in Nusa Dua.

The location is in a prime area and is easily accessible from almost anywhere around Benoa. The rooms are also very spacious and feature a generously sized pool.

The breakfast is subpar compared to other villas around Benoa. Additionally, the gym is not well-maintained; the equipment is old and slightly rusted.

We had a very relaxing weekend in a pool villa . The perfect place to stay the staff very helpful .Nothing negative to say about our stay.

The deluxe villa was perfect. Comfortable (firm) bed and very spacious room. Service and staff were second to none. The shuttle service was especially convenient - we used it a lot to get to and from local restaurants, spas, etc. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Excellent service from start to finish; every member of staff was polite and friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff. The property itself was stunning, the highlights include the pool, the garden and the outdoor shower. But in all honesty, the villa itself is perfect; I don't think the pictures do it justice. Also worth mentioning is the cleanliness, not just in our villa, but the entire complex is spotless. Breakfast was also great and so easy to request. The process of requesting breakfast and room service is so easy and intuitive. One thing that we discovered only upon our arrival is that the hotel will provide a driver for short trips around Nusa, and it's a great service. Overall, it is just a fantastic experience that is well worth the money.

Minor gripe was that the room got a bit dark in the evenings and could have done with some more lighting.

The staff was very friendly and looked after our every need. The property is very beautiful with a large swimming pool in the communal space. Our villa also had a sizeable private pool. The restaurant served very good food. We also enjoyed the spa for a very professional massage. The fitness centre was well equipped as well. The hotel has a shuttle service in case you need to get picked up in the area or need to go somewhere. The hotel app helped a lot with the communication.

The best thing about this property is without a doubt the staff—they go above and beyond to make you feel not only welcome but truly part of the family. The property itself is sleek and contemporary, with an intimate and exclusive feel. The private pool villas are exceptional—romantic, quiet, and incredibly memorable. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor bed beside the private pool, which was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast experience was outstanding. You can choose to dine at the restaurant or in your villa, which is a wonderful touch. We opted for the “floating breakfast” in our private pool—an experience we’ll never forget! Two staff members who truly stood out were Kiki and Bayu, both of whom went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and attentiveness made our trip so special. The property also offers a free shuttle service within the local area, bookable through an app, which made it very convenient for us to explore, shop, and dine locally. The spa and gym facilities are top-notch as well, adding to the luxury of the stay. Overall, The Bale Nusa Dua is ideal for a romantic getaway. Because it’s not a massive property, the attention and service you receive are incredibly personal and first-class. Highly recommended—and thank you to the entire team for the beautiful memories!

Hacen una retención en tarjeta de crédito a la entrada. Al salir, después de chequear la habitación y pagar la factura, nos dicen que en unos 14 días nos quitarán la retención, y encima nos mienten diciendo primero que es cosa del banco y después que son las leyes allí.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return when we visit Bali again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Balé. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The property itself is truly amazing. The villas are very clean and spacious with your own private pool, not to mention a full sized covered day bed. The Balé has their own vehicle/driver, for which they are very accommodating if you need an airport transfer or ride within the Nusa Dua area. Upon arrival the staff will assist you in down loading an app enabling everything to be at your finger tip for arranging room service, tours, transport, spa treatments, or to contact reception if away from the villas. A big thank you to all for making our stay very memorable.

We arrived at the Bale at the end of our Bali holiday. The zen tranquility of this hotel with our own private villa and pool was all the tonic we needed before heading back to reality. Incredible massages, fabulous service. Our butler was wonderful. Interested and couldnt do more to make our stay comfortable. A haven of peace and tranquility in an otherwise hectic island.

We love this place and I wish that you could give more than five stars for the staff, all of them. The spa is amazing and the food is superb. The private villas are just that and the communal area excells. Cant wait to stay for a third time. Thank you Bale.

Quiet, clean and very comfortable.

The staff are amazingly friendly, respectful and attentive - the property was as advertised, so luxurious, clean (three times a day cleaned rooms) and very comfortable. I brought my wife and 17 year old daughter and we enjoyed the 2 villa complex - a total 480m2, two villa, big pool and garden - but honestly, we spent our days out, then a short relax in the main pool/bar. We ate 4 nights out of 7 at the hotel, and was always very happy. Its a small boutique set up, so think you will get big buffets, instead you will enjoy healthy sized, fresh and cooked to order food, served by the friendliest staff. Also, dont come here if you want a lively bar, or pool/entertainment - it’s all about relaxation, privacy, personal attention - my bag!. Lastly, again i want to recognised the number and quality of staff - amazing.

The gym - ok, i train a bit, but on holiday still like to have some options. The gym had solid range of dumbbells, but the machines need an upgrade.
