We were at this beautiful hotel when the recent hostilities began. Very alarming when suddenly everyone's phones started making that horrendous noise, with messages to get indoors immediately. Soon afterwrads heard that the airport had been hit, and all flights were cancelled for the time being (we were due to fly home 4 days later). So a very nasty shock; but the hotel was superb. No panic, no nonsense, everyone calm, helpful and as professional as ever. Added to which the UAE government immediately stepped in and paid for the extra nights - can you imagine that happening in the UK?? We were very lucky - we were placed on a flight just three days after our original booking, and got out and home safely (though a much longer re-routed flight). Now I worry about the hotel, indeed about the whole region. Tourism has become such an incredibly important part of the economy of the UAE, and other gulf states, that it is going to hit them very hard, and may take years to re-balance. So sad in this particular case, because hotels as effortlessly excellent and outstanding as the Shangri-La at Qeryat al Beri are always going to be few and far between in the world. We send our thanks and our very best wishes to all the wonderful staff, and hope against hope that we will be able to return one day in the future.

Very disrespectful team specifically the reception department including their manager on duty… One of their team members dropped the call while I was still talking to her because she didn’t like that I’m asking for late check out and while asking to transfer the call to the manager she dropped the call giving an excuse that she wanted to speak to the manager😂. While speaking to the manager he didn’t even apologise for whatever happened. If you are looking for a place to relax this won’t be your option.

Have stayed here several times and it always delivers an exceptional experience.What obviously complicated matters this time was the USA Iran war and the impact on the Gulf States. In the face of all the challenges this event brought, the staff still delivered a wonderful experience remaining calm and friendly. We were truly grateful for all the help and assistance provided by the Hotel. Mr Hadi Osta, Rooms Director and his staff supported us impeccably and ensured minimum disruption. Birthday decoration of our room, as always, was memorable. The Horizon Club floor was amazing with Jane, Pooch, Aerielle and Madhuri looking after all our needs. Special mention of Primo at Concierge desk who assisted with Flight enquiries which was stressful to say the least. Finally Ajaya and Suresh at the Pool area were charming and their chatter help distract from some of the stress associated with the airspace closure. While we were glad to finally get home our thoughts are with all the wonderful staff we met and hope they remain safe.

Oh, just excellent. The view of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque from the pool dining area is a wonderful experience. With the lighting and great variety of food. This made the best Iftar experience with my family. The tenderloin was amazing the sweets are amazing, and the staff Ranju and Ashi are welcoming and fast with their service. My wife and I travelled to this wonderful hotel as part of our 38th wedding anniversary. We are so glad we chose this hotel. It was perfect. Every member of staff could not have been more welcoming and we were made to feel valued and appreciated throughout our stay. We chose a club room (Horizon) and this gave us a lounge for that little bit of extra privacy and comfort. The lounge also provided a most comprehensive breakfast, finger sandwiches, fruit and small cakes for lunch and evening drinks and canapes. I must also mention the staff here who were so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Particularly the gentleman from Philippines, Aurelie, Gleb and young lady from Mauritius. Our room was amazing and wonderfully looked after and kept spotless. The main buffet was superb, and we also had the barbecue at the pool bar for two evenings (one of which was our anniversary and was a very special evening looking out towards the Mosque!) . The hotel itself has everything needed for a quiet stay - centrally located and within 10 minute taxi ride of the main Mosque, golf course and the airport. We eat in the hotel, but there is plenty of choice for local and international cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk - either towards the Aquarium or the (modern) adjacent Souk. The infinity swimming pool is a very good size and there are plenty of sun loungers and shade. Note that this can get busy on weekends as the hotel sell day passes, which I think is understandable as a commercial business and from our experience of the UAE most hotels do this! We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again next year.

The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly. From the reception staff—Jessa, Alissandra, Diane, Jewel—who brighten your day from the very first moment. The rooms are spotless and always ready. The food at the hotel is delicious.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from Alessando & Diane. As we entered the immaculate opulence of the shangri-la lobby with its beautifully polished floor and amazing floral display on its centre piece round table there you would find Ghulam serving his coffee and greeting you , he is such a great man, we spoke with him on many occasions , he has so much knowledge of the hotel and attractions surrounding it. Our horizon deluxe suite on the 5th floor was also immaculate , and was kept that way, by our room attendant. The view from our suite balcony was of the beach area and 1 of the pools , the lift takes you directly down to the main buffet Resturant , which blows your mind with beautiful displays, and of course the amazing food, there are so many choices to choose from at each sitting , with themed nights daily , our servers who actually are just the best always there always helpful , they literally wonderful people !! Vishal, Charmaine, Deer, Essam, Kaung, Ajit, we thank you all for your incredible service each day you are our friends for life !! Being in the horizon room give you access to the horizon club on the 7th floor where there you can have , breakfast , snacks throughout the day , and a drinks happy hour in the evening , also with extremely high quality food the team there headed by Jane, who is one of the nicest people you would ever meet , and this is reflected in her wonderful team , Madhuri, Pooch, Aerielle, and Gleb, again you all are beautiful incredible people , I will miss you every day !! The gym and spa are well equit and has another pool which is set on a roof top nice and relaxing quiteplace to go if you want to relax , The beach is extremely clean and a lovely place to go for some vitamin D. I can’t for get the amazing chefs from the Sofra , Jananatha, Viban, Harshan and many more, thank you for all the amazing food and for being so polite and accommodating, you are truly the dream team . At the entrance you are greeted by Siju , always a smile always a perfect gentleman . So all in all thank you everyone for making my holiday the best it can possibly be, we left with tears in our eyes wanting to stay, we will be back I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Abu Dhabi . And thank you to the management you a doing a wonderful job xx

Lovely stay for a week’s getaway. Location was out of town so needed to get taxis, but they were reasonably priced and easy to find. The nearby marina was lovely, with plenty of restaurants and a decent supermarket. The Shangri-La itself was very comfortable. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was exceptional. The main pool was popular, but we discovered the hidden gem of a pool at the gym, a rooftop swimming pool where we tended to be the only ones there. Special mention to Devendra, the lifeguard, for his warm welcome each day, and the iced waters he would bring to us, he is a credit to the hotel.

We used to live in Abu Dhabi amd this was one of our old haunts so it was great to go back after so many years. We weren’t disappointed ….the only negative was our room had a musty smell and we requested a change which was sorted immediately. Great service at the hotel……but I would like to mention the breakfast staff (no names unfortunately) the pool bar…….. Kavindu was a real star…great personality and made our time fun. Also thanks to Yubraj who helped us move room so efficiently. It’s a great hotel nicely situated in our opinion…..you can still get down to the corniche if you need to so you don’t miss anything. Highly recommended. Great staff.

We are a group of friends who don’t see each other as often as we would like so always make sure we prioritise our annual reunion trip to Abu Dhabi and after first staying at the Shangri La in 2017 there is nowhere else we would now consider staying. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, facilities are beautiful, the breakfast is excellent with a wide choice and we enjoy the option of the Horizon Club. Staff are so attentive and kind and every year have helped make our trips so memorable. The hotel is an easy taxi ride from the airport and from Yas Marina so travel and going out is easy. We like the location of the hotel as it’s a bit quieter and calmer with a beautiful view of the Mosque and sunset from the balconies.

I decided to go for dinner with my friend, and we absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially want to mention the pool bar staff — Afsar, Abdullah, and Kavindu. They were always smiling, checking on us, offering help, clearing the table, and making sure we were comfortable. Their politeness and attention truly made our evening special. Also during dinner, we asked to change the sauce for the fish, and the chef personally came to our table to confirm exactly which sauce we preferred. That attention and kindness really impressed us. The food was amazing as well. We had the chicken and the sea bream, and everything was served perfectly — even the plates were warm. The flavors were delicious: juicy, fresh, and slightly smoked. We really enjoyed every bite. Also the skipper Rahim, who works there, was very kind, helpful. That meant a lot to us. Overall, the place is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the kindness of the staff made everything unforgettable. We truly enjoyed our evening and would definitely love to come back again. Thank you to everyone for such a lovely experience!

Each year my 6 girl friends and I have a reunion at the Shangri La Abu Dhabi, this was our 4th time returning, Feb 2026. It has become a home away from home and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. In all areas - check-in, the rooms to the beach, restaurants and lounge we had impeccable service. The staff are always on hand to go the extra mile and make our stay very special and memorable. Shangrila abudhabi was the best hotel I have ever stayed. From the moment the valet opened the car door to the front staff who checked us in, the bell boy who brought our luggage to our room, the server at the club lounge who greeted us with a smile every time and continuously refilled our champagne, the pool staff who made our sunbeds and came running with napkins when I spilled drinks all over me, the buffet manager who came running to offer us a good bye cake on our last day. Everyone was genuinely kind and happy to be offering the service. And my stay here made it worth coming all the way to abudhabi. The unbeatable view of the mosque is a plus. Highly highly recommended!

Hello! I was lucky enough to spend 15 wonderful days here. Throughout the whole time, I was surrounded by the care of the hotel staff. Meals can satisfy the needs of the most demanding guests. I liked the room service. I would like to mention the work of the room cleaners, namely Shyamali. It was always a pleasure to return to a neat and fresh apartment.

Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri La with my husband. The staff were so attentive and welcoming, they took the effort to remember our names and were always so smiley and happy. Special shoutout to Rahim who gave us our boat ride and was amazing! Definitely worth doing the boat ride during your stay and Rahim captured some fantastic pics for us too! The food, drinks, rooms and hotel in general was impeccable. We will definitely return!

We stayed at the Shangri-La from 9th January for until 19th, as a family and it did not disappoint. We usually stay at the Madinat Mina Salam in Dubai, and this was like a smaller/quieter equivalent. The rooms are lovely, spacious and the entire hotel is extremely clean. The buffet is one of the best I've experienced, and highly recommend 'Butcher Block' on a Tuesday - outstanding! The french and Chinese restaurants are both very good. What truly made our stay that little bit more special was the staff. They are so polite and nice. We'd like to make a special note for Ajaya - a lifeguard, who was such a very nice man. We had our 7 month old daughter with us, and he made every care to ensure she was protected by the sun, continually moving the umbrella every day to protect her from the sun. He was very good with her, making her laugh - to the point she started to look out for him every time a lifeguard wearing red walked past. His colleague Damodar was also extremely attentive and helpful. The bar staff and waiters were also excellent, and a special thank you to Dereck, Raja and Kavindu - outstanding service and very nice people!

10 days with wonderful service and attention. Met a lot of repeat visitors. Multiple repeats. A very loyal group. A haven of kindness and though there was distant works noice from time to time , it did not disturb our sleep on the beach or at night. ! Staff everywhere were super attentive and added enormously to our visit. We choose the horizon club rooms based on previous experiences in Asia. The team on the Horizon club Room excelled, food was excellent and served at the desired pace. Service was with a smile and the team were very welcoming under the enthusiastic Leadership of Jane. Fabulous hotel with excellent staff and overall, very good facilities. Positives Excellent , spacious rooms which were perfectly cleaned and well maintained throughout. Staff were courteous and very friendly- remembering names and dealing efficiently with all aspects of stay. Food was excellent- with a variety of options from formal to casual. Quality was great. Breakfast was outstanding. Beaches and pools were fabulous and meticulously maintained. Great time of year to go with perfect temperatures. Negatives Initially noise from the nearby busy roads an issue… but soon faded as we relaxed. Spa facilities a little dated( sauna/ steam room/ jacuzzi) in need of a makeover . Some on site restaurants felt expensive- be selective.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was happy with the choice. I arrived slightly earlier than check in time and they arranged for my room to be ready earlier. The rooms and bathroom are a good size with an Arabian style. Housekeeping and all staff are very polite friendly. There is a good sized pool with a large number of sun beds and then opposite there is the option of the beach as well. With other hotels you sometimes have to walk a bit of a distance but with this hotel they are right next to each other so you can easily hop onto whichever you prefer. If you are going to be doing lots of sightseeing it is not very close to the main attractions which was fine with me however you will need to factor in journey time and costs as well if that's what you are intend to do a lot of. I did eat a lunch and supper at the restaurant on one occasion and though it is a good choice from the buffet I think it was a bit on the expensive side for what it was. If you took a taxi and went to one of the closer malls both the return taxi ride journey and your plethora of choices of restaurants at the mall would most likely end up being cheaper than paying for either lunch or dinner at the restaurant. Decent choice for the breakfast buffet as well with friendly hospitality staff. I used the spa once and I would recommend it. They also have a jacuzzi and sauna. It is in a separate building however they do provide a golf cart service to and from the hotel if you prefer not to walk. Staff that I had contact with that were particularly helpful were: Sumen, Gymen, Ajit, Adil, Siju, Abdullah, Michelle and Saara . If I return to Abu Dhabi I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint, the staff our so friendly and the New Year’s Eve Gala was brilliant, looking to return in June.

We traveled to Abu Dhabi as a couple, and the staff at Shangri-La were incredibly kind and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and could be enjoyed in a beautiful setting, which made our mornings even more special. Housekeeping was consistently thorough—our room was always spotless, well organized, and very comfortable. In particular, a staff member named Dasinda took great care of our room, which allowed us to enjoy a truly relaxing and pleasant stay. Thanks to our time at Shangri-La, we were able to create many wonderful memories in Abu Dhabi, and we are very grateful for this experience.

Fabulous break snd time out for my son & I . On arrival we were greeted by Hu Meiying who was both friendly and welcoming. We stayed fit 8 days and made use of all the facilities including the pools and gym. The restaurant has a wealth of quality cuisine. We were attended to by the restaurant manager Mohammed who ensured most nights that we taken care of with attentive and first class service. A hugely enjoyable stay, we hope to visit again in 2026

Loved everything about the Shangri-La Abu Dhabi. Spacious rooms with balconies, amazing views of the mosque, pristine beaches with plenty of sun loungers, and fabulous service at all times. Special mention to Pooch and Walid at the Horizon Lounge for looking after us so well during Happy Hours - our glasses were never empty - and we loved meeting you! Also thank you to Brahma (Housekeeping) for keeping our rooms super clean and always wishing us a good day. And a shout out to Nirwan at breakfast, who makes the best pancakes ever!

First time in abu dhabi and wow what a hotel from the minute we arrived the staff were so friendly the rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean they were checked twice a day We ate in the shang palace and had the buffet a couple of times all was excellent amir at pool bar was very friendly and leo in reception was so helpful the beach staff couldn't do enough for you I can't wait to go back already looking for November

Loved our experience 10/10. Amazing room and access to patio/beach with a perfect view of the grand mosque. We were very grateful for the hospitality especially from Hu Meiying and Sarbina at the front desk as well as the Sofra breakfast staff. Hu was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Overall the hotel is absolutely stunning we adored the views, room features, and restaurants. Breakfast was also a highlight with such yummy and diverse cuisines. We will definitely be back. Thank you again to the staff!

I recently stayed at the Shangri‑La in Abu Dhabi and overall had a truly enjoyable experience. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and most of the staff went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. A special mention goes to Venkatesh, from the beach and pool bar team , who was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable throughout my visit. His warm attitude and professionalism really elevated the experience and made me feel well taken care of.

We have had one of the best experience on a boat, it only lasted 15 minutes but Mukarem the boat driver was exceptional, he was so kind, funny & the photos he took of us were incredible. We stayed for 4 nights in December. What an amazing experience that was. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent from breakfast to evening meals. From the moment you arrive at this hotel it feels special due to the staff and surroundings. It's perfectly located in our opinion. Not far from all major attractions and it overlooks the Grande Mosque from the infinity pool. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

The food was absolutely fantastic, with a great variety of dishes that were beautifully prepared and full of flavor perfect for the festive mood. The experience in Dubai was very different from Abu Dhabi; however, the Shangri-La experience remains consistently welcoming and comfortable, no matter which countries you are—especially at the Horizon Club. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Aerielle and her wonderful team (Pooch, Gleb, Jane, Walid, Madhuri, Chef Nan, Chef Kenza, and Chef Sameera) for the excellent service provided in the lounge. Aerielle took exceptional care of my family, and throughout our six-day stay, we always looked forward to seeing her at the lounge. She is undoubtedly a valuable asset to the hotel.

The service staff, Ms. Jewel were very warm, smiling, and attentive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. and highly recommended Mr. Rahim an expert in abra handling, and an incredible eye for capturing professional, Instagram-worthy photos using your mobile phone. Please check out my previous review from December 2024. It was so good I went back for more in November 2025, and will definitely return again! When you find excellence it can be a risk to try and repeat it, not so with the Shangri La Abu Dhabi. The workforce are so amazing it is hard to find words to compliment and congratulate high enough. They were ready and waiting for me, they remembered what special and personal touches made the difference for me. My biggest smile had to be when they surprised me with having a particular preference that they do not normally offer. They had remembered and had pre planned for my stay, that is excellence at its very best. Their Horizon Club Premier rooms are beyond superb, made so perfect by the most thoughtful and expert housekeeping team you could hope for. Abu Dhabi has been by go to chill out hero for more than 20 years and the Shangri La is the outstanding winner amongst all the other hotels I have stayed with. I applaud and send my thanks to every single member of the SL AD team, concierge, front desk, housekeeping, recreation , food and beverage, all 400+ of you. You are all special and important. Best beach lounger bed makers ever, and Sofra Bid thanks for my incredible breakfast including my skinny milk. I need to apologise for not having all the names to mention that I would have loved to. Please forgive me as I know how important that is to you. Management, please return to my previous review and include any of those names I have missed this time. The hotel is located well in Abu Dhabi with a perfect view of the Grand Mosque. The rooms are authentic and the housekeeping staff are courteous and accommodating, special thanks to Mr. Brahma. The hotel could do with more vegetarian restaurant options to cater.

It was our first time at the hotel as a family of three. We came for our pre anniversary celebrations. The room was very well decorated and really appreciate the cake they arranged for our anniversary. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Mr Brahma who took care of our requirements. Only would like to recommend to have more vegetarian options in the restaurant. But overall had a great experience.

The hotel covers a large area with beautifully maintained grounds and the canal that runs through it. We stayed in a club room which is definitely worth doing, and were really well looked after by Jane, Pooch, Arielle and Madhuri, and we also have to say thank you to the chef for providing additional vegetarian dishes each evening. We always had breakfast in the lounge and everything was always excellent, there isn’t a massive spread for lunch/afternoon tea but it’s more than adequate after a large breakfast, and then sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a glass of wine and some delicious canapés is a lovely way to spend the evening. We always used the health club pool as it was adults only, and the staff there were lovely, with a massive thanks going to Devendra the lifeguard who went over and above to look after us, but also have to mention Cherry, Raymond, Rene and Khalid who were always so cheerful and friendly. We loved walking around the Al Qana marina each evening, it is right next to the hotel and was a really beautiful place with loads of restaurants, a really good supermarket and very non touristy, the Abra boat ride from there which goes in front in the Shangri-La la, Traders and Fairmont hotels was a nice thing to on our final evening.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was always clean, fresh, and well organized. Bed, bathroom, and towels were cleaned properly every day. Special thanks to Brahma from housekeeping for his excellent work. He was polite, helpful, and very professional. He paid attention to small details and made sure the room was perfect. Because of the good housekeeping service, my stay was comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to others and appreciate the efforts of Brahma and the housekeeping team. Karan Kumar

This has to be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in anywhere. Throughout our 10 day stay, we have enjoyed the highest level of service. It seems wrong to single out any individual for mention as every member of staff are as friendly, helpful and professional as you could wish for. The rooms are serviced twice a day and nothing is missed with some added touches such as towel decorations on the bed which is lovely. The food buffets are amazing with such a selection to suit all tastes. The Christmas decorations are spectacular and certainly add a festive spirit. Thank you to all the staff and management (good service stems from the leadership team) for a wonderful stay. We are already looking at returning next year.

I would like to especially thank the Horizon Team (Jane,Madhuri, Pooch and their team) in the lounge. I highly recommend adding this package when staying at this hotel. The lounge offers breakfast in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, as well as coffee and tea during the day. In the evening, an aperitif is also available. I felt very comfortable there. Regarding the hotel itself, I missed having coffee and tea facilities in the room. The pool bar staff were very friendly, but compared to other hotels, they were not particularly attentive.. this may have been due to the fact that they had to move equipment, so I do not wish to hold this against them

We are ‘returners’ and this was our fourth visit to SLAD this year - it never disappoints, indeed just gets better and better. Being greeted by Usman, Sher and Siju is a great start to our stay. As we inhale the Shangri la fragrance as we walk through the double doors ( opened by smiling hostesses) , we relax immediately , knowing that for the next few weeks we will be looked after and spoilt. What a great feeling. The hard product ( rooms, buildings, pool areas etc ) is good but the soft product is exceptional. Each member of staff goes out of their way to welcome and meet your every need. From Nikki , Maria, Heeler and Nadir on Reception, Ghulan with his dates and coffee, Amir and his concierge team, within our first few minutes we feel welcomed and cared for. At the pool we are so well looked after by Suresh, MD Hassan, Venkatesh, Hassan, Min, Chrishvanthi, Htut to name but a few. In the Horizon Club (led so ably by Jane) - Pooch, Gleb, Arielle, Midhuri, (joined by Walid at times) are tirelessly pouring drinks and clearing tables. The HC is a welcoming lounge serving breakfast, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day but excels at Cocktail hour with drinks and hors d’heuvres . A fabulous selection of hot and cold food which can make an evening meal redundant. However, if you can restrain yourself, Shang Palace and the pool bbq offer delicious dishes - particularly the signature duck and the bbq lamb. There is also a family room in the lounge for young children which makes a relaxing place for families. We breakfast at Sofra which has an amazing and extensive menu of dishes. Mohammed’s team efficiently serve hot drinks and clear constantly - Ahmed and Vishnu provide great service. Always good to see senior chefs and management checking out the breakfast service. Brunch is an experience not to be missed. 4 hours of an extensive selection of food - lobster, steaks, prime rib , oysters, caviar as a small example , delicious desserts and being entertained by the wonderful Nina - a truly special event. Khalid is a great PT in the gym dedicated to finding muscles you never knew you had and Sajana in the Chi Spa is the absolute best therapist - her facials are amazing. Nagarjuna provided great housekeeping on a twice daily basis. Always so sad to leave but already looking forward to our next visit. Shangri la Abu Dhabi is indeed that. An idyllic paradise.

The chemical and petroleum engineering department, Khalifa University had annual meeting with 30 plus professor, researchers and engineers and other participants. It was a full day meeting with lunch and tea Breaks. Reservation was handled professionally well by Ms. Saida. It great to deal with her. The facilities, venue and seating was great. Logistic and impromptu support were provided by Mr. Ranju. 'Mr. Ranju' along with 'Samrat' and 'Mr. Kashif' made our meeting extra productive and comfortable. I just had the most amazing spa facial treatment a few days ago! I can't believe how great my skin feels! It’s a fantastic product made in France, and I totally recommend giving it a try. A special shoutout to Ms. Jocelyn for offering this wonderful treatment, and a huge thanks to the spa team—Sajana for the fabulous facial, and the front desk team, Joanna and Jeffrey, for their warm welcome. You all made my experience so special!

I've stayed twice at this hotel now, August 2025, and November 2025. I thought the fantastic experience might be because the hotel was not busy in the summer, but it turns out this hotel is simply excellent all year round. My wife and I love staying here. The location is excellent and the amenities are wonderful. The thing that beats everything though is the service. This hotel punches well above its price bracket when it comes to service, where every member of staff can't do enough to make your stay the most enjoyable possible. From check in drinks and cold towels, to the amazing valets who always take great care of my car (I am very fussy about my car!), to bag delivery, room service, breakfast staff, beachside and pool staff - everyone is truly wonderful. Special thanks to Jewel, Nikki, Alissandra, Sabrina on reception, and also the valet team, for taking care of us, not just this visit, but every visit. We live in Dubai so only takes one hour to drive to Abu Dhabi, and every time we always look on booking.com for a different hotel saying "lets try somewhere new", but the reality is, we always come back to the Shangri-la because the staff make our stay wonderful, and we can't risk going somewhere else and not receiving the same wonderful care and treatment we get at Qaryat Al Beri. We stayed for three nights, and I would love to recommend this hotel. They gave us a beautiful room with an amazing view of the Grand Mosque and the sea. It was so relaxing to wake up to such a stunning sight every morning. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner buffet was equally impressive. We chose the half-board option, and dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including plenty of seafood—which I absolutely loved. During our stay, we also tried the abra boat ride inside the hotel. Kudos to Mukerem, the person in charge of the boat. He was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. He even took great photos and videos of us during the ride. I will definitely come back to this hotel. All the staff were friendly—from the valet and reception to the restaurant team. Highly recommended!
