One of the best places I've stayed. Natural setting, convenient location, friendly staff, beautiful room and views. The breakfast was great and very nice restaurant as well.

An unforgettable stay in Bali! 🌴❤️ We absolutely loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The staff were amazing – always smiling, genuinely kind, helpful and attentive to every little detail. The villa was beautiful, peaceful and very clean, and the whole place had such a relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed having breakfast and dinner here. Everything was beautifully prepared and made our stay feel even more special. The service was exceptional throughout our entire stay. What we appreciated most was how warm and caring everyone was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we were always greeted with a smile. We made wonderful memories here and were honestly sad to leave. Super tolles Personal! Tolle Spa Anwendungen! Zimmer top! Lage außerhalb Ubud ca. 20-30 min Fahrt bis ins Zentrum. Zur Erholung und Entspannung sehr gut!

Was für eine Traumhafte Anlage. Die Mitarbeiter sind Weltklasse! Die Hotelmanagerin Ayu ließt einem die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Nur wegen diesem Hotel würden wir wieder hier her kommen!

As I had stayed at this villa previously , I was made to feel so welcome on my return. The staff are amazing and I would definitely stay here again. My initial visit was no different. This resort is maybe a three to five-minute drive to Bali Zoo, which makes it very, very convenient if you're going to go to this attraction

L'endroit est magnifique!. Bien sûr, c'est très excentré de Ubud mais l'expérience est très agréable. Les chambres sont sublimes, et le site est exceptionnel.

The staff are incredible and make the place, we had a good villa away from the resort which was particularly quiet. Ayu, Susi, Jawita and Tu De are particular credits to the resort! Some of the best food on our trip and even though we stayed for three weeks we could have stayed longer.

The treadmill in the gym wasn't working but by no means a major issue

Mein Aufenthalt im Santi Mandala war einfach perfekt. Die Lage ist ideal – wunderschön im Grünen gelegen, herrlich ruhig und dennoch gut erreichbar, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Villen selbst sind absolut traumhaft. Sie sind sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bieten eine private Wohlfühloase inmitten der idyllischen Natur Balis. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den fantastischen Service. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Spa liegt eingebettet in eine wunderschöne, üppige Naturkulisse direkt am Fluss, was die Entspannung perfekt macht.

Werkelijk een prachtig resort!! Overtrof al mijn verwachtingen. Hele luxe villa met terras naast een riviertje, heerlijk gekletter van de waterval. Lekkerste bed ooit! Prachtige omgeving, goed restaurant en ontbijt. Met de grap ben je zo overal. Het zwembad is groot en echt heel mooi aan de rivier. Je wordt zelfs met een golfkarretje naar je huisje gereden met bagage. Personeel super vriendelijk en attent. Honeymoonwaardig! Ik kom hier absoluut weer terug!

The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast and dinner were both exceptional — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented every day. The restaurant staff in particular deserve special praise for their friendliness and genuine hospitality. Every detail showed how much effort and care the team puts into their guests’ experience. Truly a 10 out of 10 stay in every aspect!

Het vriendelijke personeel. Het uitzicht van de kamer die we kregen toegewezen viel ontzettend tegen. En dat is jammer omdat we veel tijd op het terras zouden doorbrengen. Gelukkig kregen we dankzij het vriendelijke personeel de dag erna een andere kamer met een fantastisch uitzicht. Ik had twijfels over de open badkamer, maar dat was echt een pluspunt. De slaapkamer is wat compact, maar het ruime terras en de badkamer maken dat wel goed. We hadden ook een hele fijne chauffeur via dit hotel.

Extraatjes, zoals een massage, zijn erg duur. Er zouden ook allerlei (prijzige) activiteiten zijn als yoga en een spiritueel ritueel, maar ik heb het niemand zien doen. De gratis activiteiten stellen weinig voor. Onze gratis massage bleek een stoelmassage van 5 minuten. Het avondeten in het restaurant viel soms tegen, maar het ontbijt was prima. Ik zou alleen elke dag vers fruitsap aanbieden. Verder ligt het niet echt in de buurt van Ubud. Je zit echt in een afgelegen gebied, zonder andere restaurants in de directe omgeving. De shuttle service is slechts 1x gratis en die zet je af bij een supermarkt aan de rand van Ubud, maar dat doen veel hotels in de omgeving.

It was a new and good experience for us, unlike hotel rooms. The view is great and room is clean. Not much to do outside the villa area though. The staff was helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The property is away from the hustle and bustle, that we loved! The people are amazing, rooms well equipped and food delicious

Es war wahnsinnig viel Platz. Der Pool war riesengroß! Einfach toll. Das Personal war so freundlich, lustig und zuvorkommend. Das kleine GYM ist für eine mini Session ausreichend bestückt. Der versteckte Wasserfall war ein Juwel für uns :)

Die Handtücher könnten zum Teil erneuert werden.

Zeer ruime villa met veel privacy op een prachtige lokatie. Bedden waren goed en voorzien van een klamboe. Groot zwembad en buiten zit gedeelte. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Goed restaurant wat rekening hield met gluten intolerantie.

Afwerking kan her en der wat beter. Kierende deuren dragen bij dat ongedierte zoals muggen makkelijk naar binnen kan komen.

Meget smukt og autentisk i balinesisk stil. Flinkt personale, flotte og rene værelser.

Thank you very much, we had a wonderful holiday at Santi Mandala. Our family of five thorougly enjoyed the private pool area, the beautiful villas, the friendly staff and the wonderful restaurant. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Our stay here offered a peaceful environment and a wonderful pool for relaxing. We appreciated the tasty breakfast and quality coffee. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the easily accessible water refills were a standout feature. Just a heads-up: the territory is vast and has many steps.

Since there's nothing within walking distance of the hotel, expect to take taxis for necessities like convenience stores or to find reasonably priced massage and spa services.

A beautiful stay for our first time in Ubud! Everything was beautiful! Staff were exceptional! Beautiful surroundings. For us our only issue was that nothing was really in walking distance so we constantly had to organise drivers etc which was fine but thought it was worth a mention.

The facilities are stunning. The most friendly staff. Amazing food and variety. Helpful drivers. Complete luxury and relaxation. Great variety of activities. Staff were amazing with the kids. You will 100% love this hotel and your children will enjoy every minute of it. Close to Bali Zoo, Ubud, Bali Safari.

Hotel was tranquil and reasonably clean. However, outdoor bathroom and gaps in the wooden windows meant there were heaps of mosquitoes even in the hotel room. The toilet which was located outdoors was also often wet during rainy season. Location wise, it was close to a number of tourist spots that our kids enjoyed. However, this also meant prices within the hotel and surroundings can be quite expensive. Overall, the staff were friendly and food was great. Not sure if I would recommend visiting during monsoon season.

Enjoyed my stay overall. The staffs are super friendly and always respond quickly. The staffs in the restaurant performed magic at dinner one night which was very entertaining. There are also some engineers onsite to fix different issues. The room was spacious. The light control in the bed is a thoughtful design. The only issue I had was the internet connection. Some places do not have wifi signal or not strong enough to keep my phone connected (e.g. the balcony and bathroom in my room). The internet in the whole resort could be off for some time each day (ranging from a few minutes to several hours during my stay). But this is not a big problem if you don’t want to be online all the time.

The staff was great, the room (villa) was perfect so I recommend the stay to everyone!

Location and tourist friendly

Food always has lemon grass ingredients which empowers the tastiness.

Lovely rooms enjoyed feeding the fish off our deck that overlooked the pond. Staff very accommodating with organising drinks and snack in room for late arrival. Very clean premises and extra care spraying so no bugs around. Beds were a little hard but that would be only issue.

Fantastic resort in an authentic Balinese setting. Quiet and relaxing, safe. Easy access to Ubud. Great service and food.

I almost want to keep this place a secret…it is that special. Divine surroundings, delightful staff, delectable swimming pool and dreamy waterfall. The restaurant serves delicious, beautifully presented food at excellent prices. We stayed in a villa over the lily ponds and the sound of the water was magical and so relaxing. I liked that it is surrounded by Balinese villages but if you want to walk out and shop, this is not for you. We hope to return.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed our stay in the villa very much. There are many offers that we have taken advantage of. The Floating Breakfast is very good and we can also highly recommend the Spa. We booked the Balinese Massage, the Hot Stone Massage and the Couples Package. It was very relaxing and the massages on both days were top notch, you could relax and unwind. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes and there is something for everyone. We did not get a "Bali Belli" from the food. The complex is also very beautiful and you can visit the temple and the waterfall.

The furniture in the villa could be replaced with newer furniture, but that wasn't a big problem. We would have liked a little more cleanliness in the restroom.

This was I think our 4 or 5 time to stay there. Over all we love the place and intend to stay there again. What I did not like is that they were not clear on when the restaurant closed. It closes at 10 pm is all they said when we checked in. What they did not say was that they stop taking orders at 900. I have cancer and need to eat when I take my medication. The guy in the restaurant did not care. It was not until I spoke with a manager that they agreed to get me something to eat and brought it to our room. I will be more aware the next time

Can’t describe how deeply in awe I was with this place when I first arrived. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. I had to leave the hotel early af 3am on 8/9/2019 for Bali Marathon 2019 but no ride-hailing services were available at that hour. I almost panicked and thought I might have to cancel racing altogether. (Really. It was entirely to be blamed for not checking thoroughly beforehand). Thankfully, the front desk staff tried his best to get me a transportation to the race venue and yes! One of the night duty security guards volunteered to send me to the venue at Bali Safari, which is located 25min away from the hotel. I am deeply grateful with all the sincere help I have received from the staffs at the hotel and not to forget the excellent service. To all the staffs at Santhi Mandala, you all are awesome people! Location wise. the villa is located somewhere deep in the village and it’s not a dense tourist area. One might need to check if there’s any ride hailing available (e.g: Gojek, Grab, BlueBird) on different hours to get you to tourist-attractions or you can always get on the hotel shuttle provided. Overall the surrounding is peaceful and quiet. The villa also has a few small patches of paddy fields as well as a natural streaming river. I had dinner a couple of times at the hotel during my stay. The food is reasonably priced with generous portion. Restaurant staffs are friendly and accommodating too.

Excellent staff service. Very quiet and away from city. Good for family and delicious breakfast. Will be better if towels have no stain and no lizards in the rooms. Unless you are ok with lizard singing in the middle of the night. Spa is great. Had one dinner in the restaurant and no regret at all (good food and very entertaining young band playing modern songs). Wifi is not that good in certain area of the villa but ok overall.

Excellent rustic ambience with a soothing river within the premise. Lovely villas design with spacious and high roofed atap top and courtyard. The only regret is the towel and toileteries replenishment is lacking or kept at bare minimal.

Great accommodations, very friendly and welcoming staff. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. Perfect if you want a getaway and place to relax. They also have a free shuttle into Ubud to explore. I would definitely return again.

This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed - we got a one-bedroom villa with a private pool and would highly recommend it if you want to really switch off and experience pure relaxation. The breakfast area was stunning and it was such a treat starting the morning immersed in nature. Would highly recommend a trip to the spa - I had an aromatherapy massage which was great but the main highlight was the beautiful, tranquil surroundings. The free 10 min shuttle into town is very handy - we were worried about the property being too far away from Ubud but it's so easy to get in and feels good being outside the busy city.

Beautiful and quite location with natural waterfall onsite. They offer excellent food with quality of helpful and friendly service. Perfect place to stay, practice yoga and recharge your batteries. I really enjoyed to stay at Santi Mandala Villa & Spa and would wish to come back here again.
