There for a wedding. Excellent hotel with excellent staff.
Just an amazing place to stay . In very secure grounds . Beautiful location ,
Great equine estate. Riding instructors were excellent. Our lodge room was very nice. Service at hotel desk and in O’Connors Bar was below what we expected as staff seemed rushed/indifferent at times.
Beautiful place. Accommodation was delightful, staff were welcoming and willing to help when needed. Location was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend.
Interesting place, large spacious rooms, nice food, hope to be back soon
Lovely hotel with professional polite and caring staff Christmas decorations throughout the hotel added extra atmosphere to our stay and we will definitely visit again
Enjoyed a meet up with two other couples at the lodge, stayed for 2 nights. Bedrooms lovely and beds very comfortable, but rooms were very warm and couldn’t get heating turned down despite asking reception. Eat in the bar the first night which we all found disappointing but enjoyed the restaurant the next night. We went for spa treatments which were lovely. Roma gave me a hot stone massage which is the best one I’ve had in years. Grounds lovely for anyone wanting to get their step count up. We went to the castle for coffee and it was beautifully decorated for Xmas, no decorations at all in the lodge. Lovely relaxing break overall.
We stayed for a family wedding. Both Castle Leslie and the village of Glaslough were wonderful. Such a wonderful weekend in a very charming village.
Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Would strongly recommend for a relaxing break.
A delightful former family mansion complex in a quiet and attractive village in County Monaghan. The good sized bedroom was a little dark due to limited lighting. However, it was well furnished with a very comfortable super-king sized bed. Plenty of hot water, a bath and separate 'wet room' type shower facility. Seating in the bar area was somewhat basic, though there was a more comfortable sitting area outside the entrance to the conservatory. Food was of a high standard throughout our stay and overall service was very good.
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! Very happy with the services and cleanliness. Beautiful surroundings and great walks to be enjoyed!
Castle and staff are amazing
Excellent stay.
The Breakfast was OK OK The food in the bar was very Bland
So relaxing. Fab place to stay!
Our room was fab. The grounds were beautiful. And the staff were very helpful.
Stunning surroundings. Pleasant staff. Excellent attention to detail.
I stayed before with friends and was looking forward to my return. Check-in was fine. Room looked lovely. Then I noticed bin was full, including used masks. The noise was awful with the interconnecting door meaning I heard every word of a loud argument between couple next door. Dinner was nice but was left a while before being shown to my table even though I had booked. Breakfast was very slow - got coffee 15 mins after ordering it. I don't think I'd come back. On the plus side, I enjoyed a beautiful walk in the grounds and parking was easy.
Beautiful setting, only an hour from Belfast. Great food and service. 5 stars
Beautiful hotel grounds. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the hotel but Caroline in reception was outstanding in her role and assisted us with an extra fan for the room. So thoughtful. Also, Cassie was superb in serving us in Snaffles restaurant. She was very pleasant, attentive, mannerly and efficient in her job. These two members of staff reflect a 5 star service at Castle Leslie. They need a special mention in how they fulfil their roles plus thanked for their kindness to guests. Their attention to the little extras really mean so much post lockdown. Our sincere thanks to them.
Room was large, fresh and clean. Some very nice stylistic touches in keeping with the estate. Staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Food was top quality.
Castle Leslie lodge and castle are set in beautiful surroundings. The lodge hotel is very comfortable and the staff where fantastic.. Everything was excellent - room was superb.. Dinner and breakfast in snaffles so tasty.. Lucking forward to coming back here for another night or two of luxury..
Beautiful hotel, amazing service and gorgeous clean and comfortable rooms. We ate in the bar and the food was okay, nothing special but the atmosphere and beauty of the estate more than made up for it. The Victorian treatment rooms are well worth booking, relaxing therapies and a hot tub overlooking the stables. Highly recommend.
From the start all the staff were very helpful and attentive. The guided tour was great and informative. The Covid restrictions were in force but not intrusive. The food was amazing.
We had a wonderful overnight stay . It was a gorgeous setting and very relaxing. Mona.
Castle Leslie is an amazing place, I stayed here for a business trip because why not stay somewhere beautiful every now and then.
Just sheer class let down by the Conor bar area also drawing room in lodge no fire lit but I’m quibbling
My wife and I stayed at Castle Leslie In January which was part of a Christmas present from me to her. It certainly did not disappoint. The room at the lodge was very comfortable. We had the 6 course dinner in the restaurant which was very good. It would be nice to have the option of an "A la carte" menu should you wish to have fewer courses. The grounds of the estate are very nice for a walk and it was interesting to browse around the castle. In general Castle Leslie was a very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Fabulous stay at Castle Leslie, never disappoints. Service was great at check in, food and drinks in Connor's bar was beautiful. Can't wait to come back again!
My wife and I needed some quiet time prior to an operation. From the moment we arrived the welcome and sense of quiet efficiency was just what we had hoped. indeed it exceeded our expectations. The tour of the Castle with Owen was very interesting and engaging and we would highly recommend this to all staying at the Estate.
Very good
This property is well kept and managed with friendly staff. Rooms are well provided. Service in the restaurant was a bit slow and prices are a bit high but overall very good.
Beautiful and very unique property with great charm! Wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return some day.
Beautiful place with the most amazing staff. Plus the room had a tub!!
Wonderful staff and restaurants. Grounds are lovely and fun to explore.
We stayed in the new rooms, which are spacious and nicely decorated. Overall, however, Service was not up to the standard expected - an Evening Turn-down was half-executed and the room left in a sloppy condition.
The Overall feeling of relaxation is amazing, the grounds are fantastic to walk around in and the food is always superb
We had a lovely time at Castle Leslie as it had a very relaxing atmosphere, the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Large room, view of stables. Offer terry robes and slippers, tea and coffee in the room. Comfy bed and quiet lodge.
What a beautiful Castle estate. Our room was extremely quiet and comfortable. It was a pleasure to be able to walk the grounds and the stables and check out all the horses. We would highly recommended this place to stay. Staff we very helpfull and friendly.
Castle Leslie is unique in my experience. Set in the pretty village of Glaslough it offers a wonderful collection of accommodation options (castle, lodge, converted stables, self catering units) in rolling countryside with lakes and woods. The restaurant is excellent. Service is efficient and courteous. We stayed at the Lodge. Have already booked a room in the Castle for later in the year. Their website is most informative with video clips of individual rooms and historical notes. Pricey but well worth it.
We stayed at Castle Leslie for my sister's birthday. Unfortunately we didn't realize we were staying at the lodge until we got there. We booked well over a year ago and were not able to get into the castle I guess. My sister was VERY disappointed but we still enjoyed our stay. We were in the Sundae room and it was very nice. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very excellent too. We enjoyed being able to walk around the grounds and pet the horses. Staying in a castle was a must for our trip to Ireland. We got close but not quite what we wanted. Next time! Dinner in the bar was very good.
Really enjoyed our stay in Castle Leslie. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotlessly clean and bed was really comfortable . Food in Conor's bar was delicious. Lovely estate for walking .
Attended a friends wedding, we stayed in the lodge the night before and night of the wedding. Rooms were amazing, staff were courteous and helpful from arrival to we left. Food was excellent.
Staff were very friendly Hotel was beautiful Dining was first Class!!!
Stayed in Castle. Old plumbing. No shower. Constant running tap in sink. Wasn't repaired even though requested. Out of date 100 year old plumbing that needs replaced.
I return to here a couple of times a year. I love the ambiance location facilities and the beautiful estate.
very nice relaxing one night trip, room was lovely, and decent breakfast , just wish they had high quality meats in the fry as it can make such a difference but it was lovely non the less.
Absolutely fabulous hotel, great location! Will definitely comeback. Only one minor downside was the bad weather :-)
