The location was perfect to be able to walk to the beach without having to pay for parking

The Wi-Fi didn’t really work that well, half the channels didn’t work, there was someone’s leftover ice cream left in the freezer and used coffee filter left.

~The rooms seem to have been updated a bit. However the outside needs cleaned (not trash on the ground, dirty spots everywhere), repaired and painted. ~The pool has a green build-up growing around rim. The water hose is molded. There was only one towel. ~There isn’t the option of “do not disturb hangers for the door. Therefore, a cleaner entered our room without us being prepared. ~Although there are two shades on the window, due to being beside an outside light, our room was lit-up all night. ~ pillow cases didn’t cover entire pillows

Overall, the rooms were clean, and the pool on the 3rd floor was a great addition. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. However, there were several serious issues that affected our stay. The elevator areas appeared unclean and could use more attention. More concerning were the electrical and elevator issues throughout the hotel. Several outlets in our room barely worked, and there were floors where much of the electricity was not functioning properly. At one point, the power went out while we were inside the elevator, leaving us trapped in complete darkness in an extremely hot elevator. We ultimately had to call 911 for assistance. While we understand that unexpected issues can happen, these problems felt more than just inconvenient—they were a serious safety concern. Given the size and revenue of the hotel, I would expect the electrical systems and elevators to be properly maintained and repaired. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them before someone is seriously injured. The positive: clean rooms, a nice 3rd-floor pool, and friendly front desk staff. The major concern: the electrical and elevator issues need immediate attention for the safety of future guests.

The room stayed wet the floors were wet needs better dehumidifying. The rooms were not cleaned properly from the guests prior to us. They had no chairs in the room to sit in.

The hotel is in an excellent location and half the price of other lodging nearby. We've stayed here several times. The rooms have a good-sized refrigerator and a microwave. We always had hot water. The sheets were clean and good quality. Check-in and check-out was very smooth.

The rooms and bathrooms really need updating. The mattress is worn out and needs replacing, but the linens were clean. We stayed for three nights. At check-in, the clerk told us that the towels would be replaced, the garbage emptied, the coffee restocked, and the floor swept daily. If we needed bed linens changed, just ask. On the second day, we returned from the beach to find housekeeping had not serviced our room. We caught the ladies on the landing, and they brought towels and coffee and took the trash. The lady handed me the broom (the floor had sand from the beach) and asked, "You sweep??" So I swept our room.

I love that it is on beachside

I wished we had a balcony or was in the dunes sections of the property where the gulf side all have a balcony.

The property is across the street from the beach and near all the fun locations to go.

The bed was nasty yellow stain on comforter no one would change it out. The bathroom was disgusting and there was cracks throughout entire room.

There were holes in tge bathroom door and the walls. The tub was stained and dirty. The sheets had what seemed to be broken chips on them. The bed was the worst bed I think I've ever had the displeasure of sleeping in. It was an old box spring that felt more like a hammock, due to it's sinking in the middle. We bought a milkshake after our concert and when we got back to the hotel we stuck it in the freezer. An hour later we decided to eat it and the smell in the freezer(pesticides I think) absolutely soaked into the ice cream. At this point it was after midnight. I absolutely would have demanded our money back if it wasn't so late. We almost decided to drive home after my wife woke up screaming that something was crawling on her. The hotel staff was not pleasant at all. The best word I could use to describe them is indifferent. They seemed unhappy to be there and could care less.

I did enjoy the location, especially being directly across from the beach, and having an outdoor pool was a nice bonus.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel did not meet my expectations, especially when it came to cleanliness. When I first walked into the lobby, there was an unpleasant smell, and no one was at the front desk for about 20 minutes. When the receptionist finally arrived, she seemed out of it, which made me skeptical about my stay. The room itself did not feel clean—the floor felt sandy and slippery, there was soap scum buildup in the creases of the shower, and the shower curtain appeared to have water stains. The bedsheets also had small stains, and I ultimately went out and purchased my own sheets because I did not feel comfortable sleeping on them.

Older woman at the front desk was rude from the time we tried to check in after she made us sit there for two hours just to check into a room that was already cleaned and ready ! We get into our room tv not fridge work day two afternoon staff finally come replace the fridge and try to fix tv, we get the old fridge left I. The room next to the old one still hooked up and running but humming so loud for the remainder of the four days we have a tv that sometimes works and two plugs and a light now that has pipes a fused and not fixed so still wasn’t fixed at checkout. Tv stopped working again and never worked again from day four to five at checkout . Afternoon staff were so friendly and tried to help. Washed clothes to leave and dryers didn’t work at 10 o’clock at night looking for a laundry Matt to dry them . After dealing with the hateful lady and all problems it totally was not worth the money it cost to stay there.

The location was walking distance to beach and shops. The air conditioning also worked great and the beds were comfy.

The WiFi did not work the best and the room had a lot of sand.

Older hotel with many problems. No telephone working in the rooms. WiFi is slow. Television remote did not work. Budget is the word for the day. Both front desk ladies were very nice and helpful. Is very close to several restaurants.

Its super affordable, clean, the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Its location is superb and the walk to the beach is done with ease!

Great location across from the beach and yummy restaurant. Great value for the price . I mean it’s nothing fancy but it’s a place to lay ur head and wash off after a day at the beach. Cleaniness couple had been better . We was on 4th floor so wasn’t very noisy. The housekeeping was professional and did as asked . Front desk lady was nice and talkative.

My stay was amazing! All of the things I read in reviews were not true! Now it is not the Hilton or fancy but it was very clean and the staff was super nice! The location is amazing it was right across the street from the beach and in the middle of several places to eat and stores. I enjoyed every part of my stay! Ty for making my stay great! Im glad I didn't believe the reviews! I did ask to see the room first and it was great!

We didn’t use or even look at the pool so I can’t give a review for that, but there were several families playing in it. Overall: If your priority is saving money and being close to the beach, this hotel may work for a quick place to sleep. However, if cleanliness, comfort, and updated accommodations are important to you, you may want to look elsewhere until the property is renovated. ***we could also smell weed frequently, but that is more on the guests than the hotel***

Employees at the front desk are very pleasant & extremely helpful. The room was big with alot of room to move around in. I like the larger refrigerator I had in my room. The room was clean & well stocked with towels. I will definitely be back.

The location has decent beach access and the bed was comfortable (personal taste). The staff was helpful and accommodating. While no restaurant, there is a third party ice cream vendor on site.

While it has been remodeled, it is clearly an older facility. There were clear signs of subpar repairs to the ceiling and walls. The place is clearly aimed at those looking for a budget based stay, while still having good beach access.

We enjoyed our experience. Our room was right by the pool and the location from the beach was a quick walk. The room had great AC, a full sized fridge and clean sheets. Beds were super comfy. The ice cream shop right outside was an additional perk if you have kiddos. Id rate 4.5 if I could, but the tub and shower wall had thick black hair balled against it (I have short red hair and my daughter has long blonde hair, my husband and son have short dark hair). Better cleaning of the bathroom would behave earned a perfect score, especially since we mainly used the room to sleep, shower and take intermittent breaks from the heat.

The room was perfect especially for the price. Cleanliness, comfort, and a great location to the main strip. Literally most things were within walking distance. 10/10 recommend and will visit again .

The elevator did go out from time to time but that was the only inconvience.

I honestly couldn’t tell you anything I liked about this place.

It was dirty and outdated. Expensive for what you got. Our mattress was so worn out on one side that you would fall off the bed if you sat on the side. I would’ve complained if I was staying there longer than 1 night. I was excited to leave. The towels were stained up. The blanket under the “washed sheets” smelled disgusting. The staff reminded me of old ladies who enjoy smoking in their trailer. Weren’t horrible but definitely seemed like they didn’t want to be there and help you. I will never stay there again and I would advise anyone not to waste their money here. You can stay at a Motel 6 and probably get a more updated experience.

Good place to stay for the price and distance to the beach (literally right across the street). Shopping and dining also decently close by as well. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, towels were always available, housekeeping & staff were very nice. Hubby & daughter enjoyed the pool! Will definitely stay here again!

It is a very nice hotel . The staff were all super friendly and helpful and it was clean. The only issue we had was housekeeping kept walking in while we were sleeping to clean not knowing we were asleep because the wind was too rough to put do not disturb sign on door . But that wasn't a huge deal and they were very polite

Check in was fairly quick. The place is a little outdated, but a great location. When we got to our room, it didn’t smell clean, we had no light in the bathroom area and the sheets had food stains and cigarette holes. We requested another room and the receptionist was very accommodating. The other room was much better but still outdated. There’s not much dry air in the rooms. Everything felt kinda damp. The best thing in the rooms is the full size refrigerator. All the employees are nice and helpful. The pool is ok, but there are no umbrellas for shade and you cannot have food or drinks by the pool. This was a last resort stay for us. It served the purpose for a spur of the moment weekend beach trip.

We stayed here 4 nights. Overall the trip went well. They could use some dehumidifiers in the rooms. We always had everything feeling damp, and the floors always had a layer of light water on the floor. There was an AC issue on the last day it was discharging water into the rooms. Maintenance was fast and it was fixed quickly. I would stay here again. Pool is nice, and people were nice too!

I feel like there wasn’t any good scrubbing going on. The ceiling was peeling and had brown/black spots. The cleaners only took out the trash, no sweeping which is weird since it’s right by a beach and we stayed for 5 nights and 6days.

We all had a wonderful time. Loved the upgrades since the last time I was there. Only thing I would ask is if you could put in some like rugs around the room. The floors are so slippery and yes, two of your guest slipped and fell. My daughter has a swollen ankle and big bruise on her leg and my grandson has a mark on his face. Other than that we had a wonderful time and my daughter is already making plans for another trip.

Nothing. How is this place a resort? The beds are terrible. They made so much noise and it's a mattress sitting on a spring frame. Our room needed a lot of work. There was a lamp shade that looked like it had been on fire and coming apart still in the room. The floors were dirty. The bathroom light had no cover. One of the towel hangers was just hanging on the wall, toilet lid was loose. This place is disgusting and needs a lot of work. A very low budget hotel with a high price. I would give this place a one star rating.

The rooms need updating, if you book a room with a pull out bed bring your own linens they do not provide them. The phone in the room was broken and the paint was peeling on the walls. For the price it is what it is but I just think they could fix the minor things in the room..make sure to bring a broom you will get sand everywhere

The hotel itself is older

Staff there was very friendly and helpful. Especially the 2nd shift woman(I forgot her name). Very nice location right across the street from the beach. Probably the best bang for your dollar you could get. My one contention is that a member of 1st shift staff accidentally charged my credit card 300 additional dollars, and although accidental, I still don't really understand how it could have happened. When that issue is resolved, I will have zero complaints or negative things to say. All in all a great experience.

The value for this hotel is fantastic. There is a full size refrigerator with freezer in your room, and a smart TV so you can login to your own Netflix account. No noisy parties at night. Clean rooms and linens. Short walking distance to the beach. We loved the rooftop pool. And best of all for the kids... there is an attached Ice Cream Shop on the first floor.

When we got there I waited in line for 30 minutes at least as their computers were down. they put us in a room on the 4th floor and the room was still dirty from the last guest so I went down and asked if housekeeping could still clean it and they moved us to the third floor. On the second day housekeeping came into our room without our consent and when we came back we found our door was still open from housekeeping coming in and we know they came in because the trash in the towels were gone and so were two of our phone chargers. The next night we came back and due to all the jellyfish in the ocean and the yellow flags we were going to go in the pool well the pool was closed due to contamination whatever that means and there was a chair in the pool. Oh let me go back to when we got moved I was downstairs still dealing with getting the room situated and switched when I told my kids that we were moving and they went to go get our stuff and housekeeping proceeded to tell them to get out of the room that our stuff was in on the 4th floor because there was nothing in there for them. So it caused a big argument within our family and my daughter with the housekeeping staff. Back to the pool it was supposed to reopen the next morning and we are going to swim before we checked out but we were unable to a good part of the reason why we stayed at that hotel was for the pool, in case the ocean was to.rough etc. I'm very particular about sand and since I just had surgery a couple weeks ago I wasn't going in the water and yet I still had sand even after showering in my sheets and when I stripped my blankets off before we left to look for my charger just on the off chance there was hair and everything else down at the foot of the bed under the blankets. So I used to work in hospitality oh wait I still do work in hospitality and it wasn't quite up to my standards there are no do not disturb signs in the rooms and no communication between staff members whatsoever. I was quite embarrassed that I had taken my family here. There was blood in the elevator on the floor it just was dirty like everything I felt was dirty.

We were close enough to the beach to walk, our room had 3 double beds. We loved having a fridge/freezer combo and microwave.

The elevator was slow and hot, no AC on the elevator. Our door was super hard to open.

I liked how close the hotel was to the beach and several restaurants and businesses.

There was no breakfast and was only offered a coffee bar although booking.com and Google both listed this hotel as "breakfast included" and when inquiring about said breakfast I was just told "they would make a note of it and that they havent had breakfast in a hot minute" no apology, no offer of reimbursement for the room, etc. I also didnt like that there was virtually NO housekeeping done in my room, even when I asked for it to be done specifically THREE separate times. All I got was trash bags handed to me through my hotel door and I practically had to beg them to take the towels I put in the bathtub for them and for them to sweep. Which she reluctantly went and got a broom and only swept from the bathroom to the front door, no underneath the beds, under the sink, under the desk, etc. Just a straight line from toilet/shower to front door. Also, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and one of them you could literally feel like springs popping through the mattress on one side.

I liked that the property had a pool and was across the street from the beach.

I didn’t like how the room felt humid. I didn’t like that housekeep never swept our floor when they came to change out towels and clear out the trash cans. I also didn’t like that there wasn’t much drawer space to unpack clothes in.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now! Always a great deal & in my budget! My only complaint this stay was; our mirror light didn’t work, we told our front desk clerk & nothing happened. There was a lamp in the room there when we checked in near the sink, but still it was quite annoying not having much lighting where we needed it the most. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes! Other than that, it’s always pretty clean. The AC is lovely, blowing snowballs actually. I’m a big fan of how spacious the fridge/freezer. I love taking a dip in the pool each time! The water is always fine. I love that I literally can just walk across the street (traffic usually isn’t crazy)… and be at the beach! It’s in walking distances of so many restaurants and stores! I love Mythic Beach Banana Bar right next to the parking lot, but I can’t wait to try the ice cream shop attached right to the hotel when I return. The rockstars at the Beachside Resort Hotel are the ladies I'm always greeted with when I check in or visit the lobby! Always friendly and helpful. I love chatting with them. Overall I feel safe and sound when I visit & I’ll keep coming back again & again!

Perfect location to walk to the beach, food, and beach shops. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We rented 3 rooms for 12 people and one of our rooms got upgraded to a “suite” with a living-dining area, and kitchen. This was PERFECT for the 6 adults and 6 kids to hang out and make food.

We got there a little early and asked if we could just go ahead and park there and we would come back at check in time and they let us go on and check in early so that was nice, The location was great, those two things was pretty much the only good unfortunately.

Very run down in person, the pictures on line look clean and nice but that wasn’t the case once we arrived. There was holes in the walls, furniture was dirty and tore up. We had to have maintenance come let us out of our room and fix the door bc it would get stuck and not open. There was blood on the walls and furniture. The lights in the room were very dim, and seemed like just enough to get around the room without running into something. We also asked for house keeping not to come in while we were out and they still did (they left their master key in our room). They allow pets which is completely fine other than the fact the people in the room next to us decided to leave and their dog did nothing but bark for several hours until they came back.

The property is in a great location! Beach access just across the street, a great restaurant next to the beach access, and find ice cream shop on site! The pool is great and in the sun for the entire day! Convenient laundry room on site too, but make sure you have quarters if you plan on using it! The refrigerator in the room is a great size for food and the freezer is plenty big! A major plus. There is daily housekeeping for fresh towels, empty trash, and sweeping.

I don’t see the “resort” part of the property, it needs a lot of upgrades in my opinion. The bathroom has mold growing in it, the ceiling is peeling, and there is not enough places to unpack your suit cause if you don’t like to live out of it for a long stay. We had 3 people but only 2 drawers to put stuff. There is plenty of wall space for a dresser.

I would like to say a big thank you to Stephanie and Christy for making his feel so welcome and at home nothing was a problem and they couldn't do enough for us we always stay at this resort and it is a great location near the beach and a reasonable price but I want to say once again thank you Stephanie and Christy for making our vacation what it has been and that is amazing

The cleanliness was not great. I had to go purchase cleaning supplies and re clean the room. There was hair all over the shower walls and some orange spots. Sand on the floors when we arrived.
