Parking was ridiculously expensive, and the price was too high for the room . No lounge to sit on the bathroom looks like it’s just in a cupboard . It’s a lot of money for just a very average room .

Great staff, super friendly and even more efficient. The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need and nothing you don't. Delicious cocktails available at the bar!

It would be great if there was different lighting options in the bathroom for night. The overhead light is very bright in the wee smalls.

Shower cubicle is small so sliding shower head on a rail would be much better. Novotel has good showers but of course there rooms are much dearer.

Probably easiest the best value breakfast buffet in hamilton, seriously had everything, even a pancake machine, and a separate Gluten-free buffet area! Comfy beds, clean room, very central location.

Its probably the most plain hotel room ive stayed in, its almost like it was unfinished. Room had the absolute minimum of requirements and nothing else. Also has the 2 single beds pushed together to make the void.

Really enjoyed dinner and our room was clean and tidy. Restaurant staff were good, considerate and tentative.

There is an opportunity to improve how staff greet guests as they arrive. They are the face of your establishment and can make or break with first impressions. Another opportunity for improvement is the buffet breakfast and ensuring food is readily available without to longer delays. I do think the cost of a room is on the high side. Especially given there are now hotel activities, no spa bath or sauna, games room. Be great to add some excitement to the place. Make it a destination you want people to return to.

Room 389. The beds are too small, actually very small! The bathroom is adequate, good shower and lighting but the toilet is cramped in and too close to the wall, not easy to use.

The hotel has a great location and the scenery from the window was gorgeous. The rooms are pretty small, but they're tidy and well looked after. Tidy and comfortable. Can't complain that part.

The staff represented typical kiwi hospitality. They ignore you and make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by showing up and only after they've made this very clear and avoided any contact with you uncomfortably long, they'll look at you and give you the dirty look from head to toes before talking to you. Especially the staff at the breakfast serving is at their own level at this. At breakfast, there's no allergy information on any of the meals. Only a tiny gluten free section with a choice of bread and a cereal but none of the labels anywhere stated any basic allergens (gluten, dairy) and as mentioned prior, don't bother asking the staff. The response from the lady was just 'do I look like a walking ingredients label?'. Our room had a cracked window, which was on the outside so didn't impact us in any other way than view. Had also issues with the concierge parking and had to talk to the staff a couple of times to get the issue sorted, but not a major issue.

Everything from the first moment we pulled into the forecourt and didnt know where to go the lady staff member came out and helped us from valet parking knowing we didnt have to worry about parking our car, and every place we needed to gonwas right there didnt need to use the car. to the reception desk she was amazing!, then the young lady at reception desk who checked us in, was also amazing and helpful. Awesome will definitely stay there again.
