What a great way to end my trip in Fort Lauderdale! Seriously such a great staff and kind owner. While I didn’t stay at the hotel this time I will be definitely going here in the future and will be back at the Sand Bar and Grill! Great views of the ocean and a very well kept place for anyone coming down here!

The property exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was so nice and relaxing even with my 3 kids. They had so much fun.

I liked everything, really. We couldn’t enjoy the beach very much because of the sargassum but I did see trucks trying to clean the beach in the morning.

Location on the beach was fantastic. It was a small hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable. All of them faced the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Wi-Fi connection was basically non-existent. With 2 teenagers, that was an issue. There is only so much time that can be spent on the beach and in the pool. The pool is small, so it can get crowded.

The view was great from our room.

There was a dead bird in the pool. Once the worker got it out of the water he threw it in the bushes. The check in staff was very confusing adding up all these different fees to my credit card.

The people were wonderful. We just came off a cruise with rude people and I was so tired. The front desk clerk was just so nice and welcoming. They accommodated us as we were very early for check in. The pool was clean and refreshing and I can’t say enough about the bar and restaurant service and food. Niki and Jackie were top notch!

Really it was a great experience. 1 thing I could add is maybe a fluffier pillow. But if you sleep on both of them it was fine. The view out the back patio is breathtaking as it’s very close to the ocean. They have chairs and umbrellas to rent but we hung out at the pool. As there’s a ledge to sit in and a water fall

Loved everything about our stay. The entire staff was amazing and attentive. Our ocean view was amazing. We definitely would stay here again.

The front desk is not very knowledgeable when it comes to issues at this hotel they tell you one thing and totally different. Also, they don’ttell you everything when you make your reservations about any holes or any percentage that they gonna put holes on your card. I would not recommend this hotel from one to 10 being one is the best it would be a negative one when it comes to front desk for customer service.

I really enjoyed the spacious shower and the beautiful view from our room. The location was excellent and convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the beach was a letdown due to the significant amount of debris along the shoreline, which took away from the overall experience. While the accommodations and location were highlights of our stay, the condition of the beach was disappointing.

We booked an oceanfront room with a balcony, expecting to relax and enjoy the view. While the view itself was beautiful, the balcony was surprisingly narrow. My husband could only sit comfortably by turning sideways, as there was very little space. One positive was the convenient location. We visited the grill next door, which was charming and offered a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service there was disappointing. After being seated, we received only a minimal greeting. When our food arrived, our server never checked back with us—not to offer napkins, refills, or see if we needed anything else. We couldn't help but notice that other guests appeared to be receiving much more attentive service. Eventually, my husband had to approach another staff member just to have our bill charged to our room. While there were some enjoyable aspects of our stay, the lack of attentive service and the unexpectedly small balcony detracted from the overall experience.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is very clean, tropical, and has a very tasty restaurant, the Sandbar grill. It is directly on the beach and never felt crowded. If you're a couple, family, or a solo traveler this is a perfect place for you. I'll definitely be back, many times.

Location. Right on the beach with lounge chairs and umbrella. Good restaurant with good prices right on the property with beach view. Clean and comfortable with amazing ocean view.

Did not feel welcoming. No internet signal. Surprised by resort fee of $45.00- though it was on the confirmation - and $50.00 per day for parking- did not see that until checking in.

We loved the location and our stay at Suntower! We wanted a quieter place right on the beach that wasn’t a hotel room. This is exactly it! The restaurant is also wonderful! Jackie at the Sandbar grill and restaurant is extremely genuine! We would totally recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

The location isn’t the best. It’s about a twenty minute walk to publix and the only restaurant that is close is the Sand Grill attached to the hotel. You need a car or taxi. We tried taking the bus down south of Sun Tower and waited for an hour and no bus. Ended up taking an uber.

Small, clean,simple hotel right on the beach. Small cafe with good breakfast. Manager worked hard to find us extra days as a cancellation occurred.

$35 car park. Most prices at the hotel have increased since last year but what hasn’t ?

So happy to discover Sun Tower after searching for a beachfront hotel that wouldn't break the bank (plus I got a nice last-minute deal through Trip Advisor). My only regret is that we were just passing through the area and could only stay one night. I hated to leave this lovely little oasis. From the doorman to the desk clerk to the wait staff at the Sandbar Grill (love that they have a bar & grill on site), everyone was so pleasant, professional and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the beach (love that they have complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas), as well as our balcony, overlooking the ocean. The morning sunrise was breathtaking. The hotel is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet not far from restaurants and shopping. And even though we stayed here on the cusp of spring break, we found the hotel very quiet and laid back. Great staff, great rooms, great food, great vibe. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Can't give enough praise for Donelle, at front desk. He went way above and beyond to remedy our situation with the in room coffeepot. The food in the restaurant was great and the beach was wonderful. We will definitely stay again.

This place has amazing views. We flew in the night before our cruise and was very pleased. They are doing updates on it but it's still beautiful. Shout out to Donnell. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Most places lack customer service anymore but not this place! I would definitely book again.

Perfect location right on the beautiful beach. Smaller hotel but with lots of bonuses. Huge room, decorated beautifully- massive, very comfy bed. Food and drinks in restaurant great, lovely waiting staff ❤️. Would highly recommend.

I found this gem in Fort Laudardale and I came for my birthday it was such a memorable experience. The weekend I spent here I was planning to go out but instead I stayed the entire weekend and never left. Jordan and Christine made the experience. The room 101 is absolutely beautiful I loved it! Don’t forget to go to Sandbar Grill. Danny at the bar, Dylan, Luis, Bianca & more! Everyone is great, you won’t regret coming here!

Seriously, it was an expensive hotel but they don't even give a water. Front desk people were really nice. The rooms need better cleaning and new furniture.

The hidden parking fees and extra taxes charged vs what booking charged

Stayed here several years ago with our kids and decided to stay again due to the amazing location right on the beach. Unfortunately, the hotel has deteriorated. The bathrooms are quite old and rusty. The tub floor felt like we would fall through because the structure beneath felt rotted. A musty smell, when entering our room, was awful. The hotel needs a total overhaul. Also, disappointed in the automatic 20% gratuity added to all food and drink. My husband walked up to the bar from the beach to order a bucket of beer. The server handed him the bucket over the counter and my husband walked back down to our chairs carrying the bucket himself. Yet the 20% (over $8) was still added. Our next visit to Ft. Lauderdale will definitely be at another hotel. Finally, after paying the resort fee for two nights, one would expect enough chairs and umbrellas to be available. Chairs were old and saggy. No umbrellas were available except 3 broken ones which we took because we definitely needed some shade. About an hour after the umbrella was installed in the ground, it flew away. We jumped up and grabbed it, but it really could have injured someone.

Das Hotelzimmer und auch die Aussicht hat mir gut gefallen. Der Balkon war doch sehr schmal, aber da ich alleine gereist bin, reichte es aus.

Die Lage - zu Fuß gab's Abends keine Möglichkeit noch in eine belebtere Gegend zu gelangen. Nach einem langen Tag unterwegs, wollte ich nicht noch ins Auto steigen.

Absolutely love this place. Hotel rooms are great. Beach is I credible. FCilities and pool was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Internet was very poor and sometimes non-existent in our room (603) - we found out from staff that this has been known for quite a while and we were not told.

The location can’t be beat right on the sand! You have an ocean front balcony with chairs and table if you open the patio doors you can hear the ocean sitting in your room. You have a kitchenette and dining living common area separate from your bedroom.

We loved the location! It was super convenient for the venue we were going to to see a concert at and it was oceanfront. It was very clean! Jordan at the front desk was amazing. We loved her. The price was affordable.

The pillows were not great. We asked for extra so we would have support. They did let us get a couple of extras. Our room had window units and one was right by my head while sleeping and blew in my face. . It constantly woke us cutting on and off because it was so loud. You couldn't watch the TV in the living room area because of the layout. The TV was 8 feet to the left of the sofa. You had to watch tv in the bed. I did notice that not all the rooms had window units. We left at 5:30 this morning and the lobby was locked with no one there so we could not check out the traditional way.

Sure Bet---I have stayed at this property several times. I love the beach access, every room has a view of the ocean and it is not too far from other places in Fort Lauderdale. It is always clean and the staff are friendly/helpful.

I had a big issue with my reservation thru Expedia however the hotel staff did what they could but the hotel experience is the best I payed for an expensive and better room months in advance and they didn’t have available when I got there They accommodated in what they had available and refunded the money I’ll come back again but I will book directly with them
