The staff were very helpful, a bar in reception and a gym just behind There is a very large and comfortable public lounge with a relaxing atmosphere, The rooms along with the rest of the hotel is quiet and clean. The highlight of this hotel however is the roof terrace a large relaxing fantastic area to watch sunset. It is advertised as the best terrace in Arezzo and rightly so! The terrace pushes the Hotel Continentale into second of the six hotels we stayed in Italy.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026In a great position close to both the station and the centre of the city. The hotel looks smart and recently decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was quite large and had everything I would expect in a modern hotel. My only criticism is that although the room has been well refurbished the original bathroom fittings remain so that the shower and bath are a bit elderly, but adequate. The roof terrace is a great feature allowing you to enjoy a drink with a view over the city. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Arezzo.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026The hotel is in the perfect location if arriving by train. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooftop terrace is definitely a plus.
The only thing we did not like were the hard mattresses. It is very important to get a good night’s sleep but unfortunately the mattress of our bed did not offer that.

אין דברים בביסיים בחדר: קומקום ומכונת קפה. אין סבון גוף נורמלי, מקבלים שקית עם כמות מאוד קטנה של סבון שלא מספיקה אפילו לשטיפת ידיים. לא מתאים למלון 4 כוכבים. אין כובע אמבטיה. מאוד רועש בלילה וגם מוקדם בבוקר ממכוניות.

O atendimento também foi muito bom, e a facilidade para chegar ao local torna tudo ainda mais prático. O hotel não possui estacionamento próprio, mas há um estacionamento a cerca de 2 minutos, que custou 15 euros das 11h até as 9h do dia seguinte.
Não houve pontos negativos, foi tudo muito satisfatório.

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026The hotel is minutes from the train station and near a lovely park. Within walking distance, there are many shops and bars. The hotel did have a lovely rooftop terrace, which we enjoyed. The breakfast was for purchase (9 euro) but did not look that special, so we did not eat there.
We stayed in April and the room was very stuffy, as they do not turn on the AC until June. The reception was not helpful but gratefully the bellman overheard our dilemma and brought a fan. What a godsend! The hotel is on a very busy street, so Sat night with an open window was very noisy. For the price of the 4 star hotel, I wish we stayed in an Air BnB.
