It was in a safe location surrounded by lovely homes. It was super clean and the staff were fantastic. Special thanks to the ladies on the front desk, Andrea, Aralelis and Zoe who were very helpful.

Location was great. Clean hotel and staff was friendly.

The lighting in the room is awful. Either very bright white lighting or very dark - there was no in between. Opening curtains for natural light not an option due to privacy. It just made the time spent in the room depressing. The shower was also bad.

It was a little annoying having to call to park in the back but it's okay it's for safety so totally understandable

I liked the location.

I left my Apple Pencil behind in the room, and it mysteriously disappeared. I called a few hours after check out and the room had been cleaned already.

Rooms are super small

The location is exceptional for beach lovers. It’s just a few steps from the ocean, on a beautiful stretch of beach that isn’t too crowded—perfect for soaking up the sun and taking a dip. As a bonus, the hotel provides beach chairs and towels. Walking around the neighborhood, there are good places to eat on the same street and on a parallel street. There is parking. The hotel also offered a lovely birthday package with cake, decorations, and prosecco to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

The shower could have had more water pressure. The water flow was very weak and took a long time to heat up. I missed having a beach umbrella along with the complimentary beach chairs and towels. The bed wasn’t made on the second night because we had left our pyjamas on it. They left a note explaining why. The next day, we made sure not to leave our pyjamas on the bed, but it was the first time we had seen this rule in a hotel.

Towels and bedsheets were damp and not fluffy. Bedding was flimsy, uncomfortable and damp. I asked for a quiet room but got placed right by the elevator. There was traffic (from the street and foot traffic by the other guests well into 2 am... until I finally fell asleep. Barely got enough sleep.

Bedding was the worst. Very uncomfortable and cold.

The location is excellent. Small walk to the Beach,Food was great just a little pricey. Hotel and staff were great.. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff were AMAZING!!! Very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was in a prime location central to everything. 5 minutes walk to beach and bars and restaurants. The hotel was amazing. Very modern, hip and clean. The restaurant in the hotel was also amazing. Was just a great experience overall, especially considering we booked the hotel the day we landed due to other accommodations falling through last minute. Would definitely stay here again.

The walk-in shower, when in use, gets water all over the floor if you don't have towels down.

Great location, Santurce has many great restaurants and beach is just down the street and very clean and nice.

Free coffee for breakfast was very nice. They should consider getting a bigger commercial coffeemaker so that it wasn’t constantly empty or put some nescafes in the rooms

Not having elevator can be a grind with luggage but stairs are easy.

It was small & cozy but room was huge & cool!! The staff were awesomely helpful & friendly and the hotel is pet friendly.

Everything! What a gem…the staff is amazing, room comfortable and quiet. Spend 4 nights booked 17 hours before arrival. Close to great restaurants and coffee shops (coffeetera my fav), beach down the street. Restaurant attahed Dulcesalado was great and so convenient. I found my new home away from home at Tropica Beach Hotel.

Noise from the road even with windows shut. Water leaking from shower room via gaps in the door. Extremely rough sheets that I had to put towels and jackets all around myself to sleep.

Very very cold and damp room. Couldn’t heat up because it would get very humid. Very small windows at the top of the room so not very much light. Weird room.

Friendly and hospitable staff, spacious room. It is important to note that there are NO elevators. However, staff was able to accommodate me in a ground level room for my stay. That was HUGE for me.

Jessica was so bubbly and helpful. The entire hotel is precious and I had no complaints about the room. Cozy and perfect.

Loved my stay here! Perfect cozy boutique hotel located perfectly in town and to the beach. Absolutely charming details all around! The staff was also so warm and welcoming! I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute hotel. My room was kept very clean and the bath towels and bed super clean etc. Front desk staff member was very helpful with recommending different local spots to eat, many within walking distance. I wish I was still in PR!
