Loved the apartment space and decor, the ac lol and cleanliness was up to par and just very comfy for 5 nights.

No elevator to get upstairs lol and the bathroom is a littleee outdated (specifically the shower) and needs a deeper clean but still okay.

I love this property! The location is amazing. Conveniently located by 24 hour market and close to buses that connect throughout the isla.

I liked the location and the little pool/outdoor area.

I’m familiar with Calle Loiza so I brought my sleep mask with Bluetooth because sometimes it is loud. However I don’t think people remember they’re in a “hotel.” Others staying were loud in common areas like the stairway which go directly to rooms, they’re clunking suitcases on steps, talking loudly, dragging their feet..

- Chambre très très petite pour une "Studio PLus", j'ai des doutes sur la chambre qui m'a été attribuée - Très mauvaise connexion internet - Porte d'entrée du bâtiment cassée et dont la porte peu rester grande ouverte toute la nuit - Pas très propre et très vêtuste, ne ressemble pas du tout aux photos - Salle de bain qui fait à peine 2m2 - Piscine petite -pas de surprise - mais étant donnée qu'ouverte 24h/24h, personne pour indiquer aux autres voyageurs de respecter la tranquillité donc on peut être réveillé en plein milieu de la nuit par des gens qui font la fête

Loved the neighborhood and the staff.

The WiFi was spotty and so the TV didn’t work either. They tried to help.

The accommodation is nice, the location is fantastic. Ocean Beach (which is amazing) is 5 min walk, a huge 24/7 supermarket is literally across the street, great cafes and restaurants around, many buses stops to Old Town (around 30 min), Condado promenade with even more restaurants and shops nearby.

WiFi can falter from time to time. I missed a table in the room for work and even for (small) eating.

We weren't offered breakfast.

I was informed that if we had any additional concerns to please contact the staff information number. We were continually being hung up on. Of all things that hurt us the worst. It was very rude. Would I personally recommend your Apartments by Stay with Bear to my friends? No I would not. Because of that fact. It was like your in there now. Leave us alone. The people around the city treated us way better. If I ever decide to revisit that beautiful island again. I know where I will not book a stay. Everybody has game.

Good location, close to downtown.

The place was dirty. There were used fingernails and a box of pads underneath our bed.. absolutely disgusting. There was also a LOT of dust. Nobody has truly cleaned that place in a long time. The check in was also a nightmare. Very poor directions and the lady who answered the phone was not very nice or accommodating at all.

La ubicación de la Mona Loaiza es muy buena, con supermercado completo a poca distancia. La cocina es muy útil, y la habitación confortable. El check in y check out muy fáciles de hacer.

Desafortunadamente al estar la habitación sobre la vía Loaiza la hace un tanto ruidosa por los autos. Se sugiere reparar las cerraduras de las puertas

It was really clean, and very well located

They only cleaned my room once in 8 days, was quite small, and not functional. The “kitchenette” was just a microwave and a cooler, not even a chair to sit on if you want a coffee or something. No plates, no cutlery, just glasses. Hot water was going off every now and then. One day I did not have warm water at all and they said will be fixed next day (they never did). Also very noise, exposed to the exterior and the door doesn’t seem very secure. I think for same price or a bit extra you have way better options.

I didn’t like anything about this property no elevator for a third floor haul up three flights of stairs, the hotel was not clean I had ants inside in my room, the staff was very unaccommodating to this situation

I liked the location. Getting the key and getting into our room was easy. The place was very clean. Walked around to a restaurant and felt very safe.

I knew ahead of time but the no elevator is quite difficult.

Petit, la zona d’estar no era gaire confortable i la neteja prou deficient. Hi vam estar més d’una setmana: no es neteja en cap moment, ni es canvien tovalloles ni llençols (tampoc en disposes per canviar-los tu mateix).

I very much enjoyed my stay in this apartment. It is very comfortable, spacious, bright, and quiet. The location is excellent, very centrally located with bus stops close by to go anywhere in San Juan. Whenever I had an issue they were very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The air conditioner in the bedroom works very well, but I think the filter needs to be changed.

Very convenient location. Beach was only a couple blocks away and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Units were very updated and modern. Beds were comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice outside common area for relaxing.

The water in the shower of one of our units never got hot.

Location was ok, it was quiet, the bed was comfortable and it had plenty of space.

The grounds need some TLC, they appear unkept.. The kitchen light didn't work, the ac in the living room didn't seem to work properly. The fridge was on the highest setting and was cold. We stored our beverages in the freezer..it took 2 days to make ice..The hot water in the shower would be warm for a minute then it was cold. The bathroom walls could use a good cleaning.

Fräscha handdukar o lakan. Skön säng. Bra med kaffe o mjölk på rummet. Fanns även schampo, duschcreme o bodylotion. Bra o lättillgänglig personal.

Lite ostädad balkong. Ingen städning ingick under vår vistelse på 5 nätter, men vi kunde själva gå och byta handdukar.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. Apartment had 2 bedroom 2 bathroom which was clean a washer and dryer. The area was in a prime location in San Juan. We were near everything.

Only thing missing was a full length mirror. So we can see our outfits

La Mona Loíza Apt was a great location, felt very safe it is right next to a supermarket if you need any last minute items.

Everything was perfect no complains

Good location. Walking distance to local stores, Starbucks and a few restaurants.

No designated parking area. On street parking presents some challenges.

It was reasonably priced and easy access to where we wanted to go.

We went with another couple. Same price per couple. They had a full apartment (kitchen, laundry, couch 2 TV’s and a separate bedroom) and we got a small room with just a bed (not even a chair. Not that there was room) and a very small bathroom.

Muy buena ubicación, cerca de tiendas y restaurantes. También queda muy cerca de La Placita y en general se nota que es una zona segura. Los apartamentos tienen muy buen espacio, están limpios y tienen todo muy cómodo.

Por las mañanas nos despertaron martillazos que no supimos exactamente de dónde venían. Imaginamos que están haciendo renovaciones al edificio.

O apartamento está exatamente como nas fotos, não tivemos problemas com nenhum quesito da acomodação. Ela fica realmente bem próxima à praia e bastante perto de um bom supermercado.

Não houve o que não gostei. Apenas a piscina que pega pouquíssimo sol, caso você opte por essa acomodação por esse motivo, precisa saber que não terá tanto tempo para utilizá-la durante o dia (pelo menos no inverno, que foi a época que estive na acomodação).

El internet era inestable y el apartamento poco luminoso

Dos móveis, do tamanho do apartamento. Há praias razoavelmente perto: Condado; Islas Verdes; e Escabrón. Havia secador de cabelo, ferro de passar roupa e cozinha Bem equipada, inclusive com café, açúcar, pimenta e sal.

Não há elevadores; não há recepção; mal se vêem os funcionários; depois de fazer o checkout não há como ir ao banheiro; muitos mosquitos; não há nenhuma informação sobre turismo na região; não há limpeza diária, que fica a cargo do próprio hóspede; o deslocamento deve ser feito em relação Uber, táxi ou em ônibus, que demora demais a passar (às vezes, chega a levar 1 hora ou mais); e internet instável.

Excelente ubicación, muy seguro y cerca de un supermercado 24/7, la habitación muy cómoda y bonita. El personal excelente y honestos, se me quedaron unos airpods y ellos se comunicaron conmigo para ver la forma de entregarmelos.

Very clean and smelled delicious. Had ac. No issues whatsoever. Location was super convenient with a supermarket two minute walk away. Also, for excursions we were able to get picked up by the double tree hotel which is right across the supermarket. La placita is an 8 minute walk away which is great (uber prices going home at 2 am were crazy)

Just a heads up the couches upstairs by the pool were dirty. If your group wants a pool this is decent but def not a huge pool. This wasn’t an issue for us tho since we weren’t by the pool at all.

La habitación estaba muy sucia, el suelo, los espejos, el cuarto de baño… tenía moho en el techo del dormitorio. La ducha del cuarto de baño que estaba anclada al techo estaba a punto de descolgarse y algunas piezas oxidadas. Las ventanas estaban rotas, no encajaban y entraban mosquitos y mucho ruido del exterior. La puerta principal que da acceso a la habitación tenía una cerradura pero no serviría de nada si quisieran entrar ya que la puerta era de madera normal( típica puerta de habitación) y no una puerta de acceso a una estancia con mayor seguridad. La puerta principal de la calle al bloque, estaba siempre rota, sin encajar y permitiendo el acceso de cualquiera del exterior al complejo. La verdad que me pareció muy poco seguro.

Great location. Grocery store next to the property, with other restaurants and stores nearby. Easy to get a ride-share service as well. The team is very responsive. Always willing to help with recommendations, answer any questions, and is very friendly.

I liked the location, it was great for walking, and calling Ubers, and the price was good. All the appliances worked, and the staff was friendly.

The room was NOT the one advertised, it was much, much smaller. The bathroom was extremely tiny. The cleaning supplies/deodorizer was VERY strong. And we made the mistake of leaving donuts on the counter, the next day and for the rest of the trip, we had ants in the room. Which explained why the cleaning supplies were so strong. Also the "pool" is only good for getting wet, it's the size of a hot tub. It would've been better to have a hot tub instead.

the place is a basic 3 star hotel, is clean and safe. you can walk to grocery store and restaurants, I had no problems and would stay here again.

THE WIFI WAS A BIT SPOTTY WE WERE NOT GETTING MUCH ACCESS WHILE INSIDE THE APARTMENT BUT AROUND THE COMPOUND AND POOL AREA IT WAS FINE

Was basic but a decent deal and staff was great.. Wifi very good .... had less than stellar service at fancier spots

The staff was extremely responsive, check in and check out was smooth, location was absolutely perfect, the bed was comfortable, the suite was spacious, the hotel felt secure. Space was well decorated.

Nice big apartment which look like the pictures. The surrounding was peaceful and quiet, and close to all we needed.

Location was perfect. You're walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, the beach, etc It had enough plates, cutlery for you to cook the basics if you wanted. Staff was great, always replied quick to emails and always helpful.

It was a great room, well-lit, perfect for two people. Clean, enough space for luggage and clothes, free coffee and tea:), not too loud, everything was working perfectly. The location is perfect, in the heart of Condado. We will book again if we come back to San Juan.

Two things I would change: first the check-in time is kind of late(4pm), and the AC unit in the room was loud and in front of the window, so when we wanted to sleep and close the curtains there were in the way of the AC making more noise.

We loved the convenience of nearby local restaurants, a supermarket, and charming businesses. The accommodations were well-equipped with all the essential amenities for an extended stay. The staff exuded professionalism and friendliness, always ready to assist us with whatever we needed. Isabel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly enjoyable.

The steps leading down from the front of our apartment tend to become quite slippery during rainy weather. Unfortunately, it appears to rain almost every morning, even if just for a short while, which makes navigating the steps a bit challenging. We have reached out to the manager about this concern, and while they have made efforts to address the issue, the solution has not yet proven effective. We would appreciate exploring a long-term solution to enhance safety and prevent any potential accidents, as my wife experienced a near miss on one occasion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Cool room thanks to the air conditioning. Secured entry to the building. Well situated between Old San Juan and the airport. Also close to the beach but it also has a nice little pool. Great communication and quick responses. Staff was super helpful and very kind meeting all our needs.

The apartment is equipped for ironing and has a communal washer and dryer. There is a pool although small. The location is very convenient to access some attractions in the city

Only problem if you rent a car you do need to look for parking and walk a couple blocks on the weekend, but still worth it.

This location is perfect for our needs, providing excellent facilities that meet our expectations. We particularly appreciated the inviting common areas, which offered a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. It was wonderful to have cozy spots where we could settle down with a good book and unwind, greatly enhancing our experience. The friendly staff were always willing to assist, which is hard to find in today's hospitality industry unless you visit an upscale hotel.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our feedback regarding our stay. While the bed in our apartment was uncomfortable and lacked support, we did our best to enjoy our time there. We also experienced noticeable noise from the tea room below our balcony on one occasion, which affected our ability to rest. Additionally, the living room needed more lighting, as it was quite dark; adding extra lights could help improve the ambiance. We hope this information is helpful for future improvements.

Everyone we met was very friendly

No couch in the sitting room. No building address on the street, so it was hard to find the entrance. Maybe post a photo of the entrance door?
