I booked a single room and it was really very generous for one person! very comfortable and with a balcony directly facing Portofino! The room was clean & the staff accommodating & the location exceptional. It has a slightly corporate/ dry vibe to it.

L’emplacement au top, avec vu sur le château et la mer. Fabuleux ! Accueil chaleureux, et personnel qui parle français. Les chambres sont très propres.

The location was perfect. Rapallo was a very nice size city that offered plenty for a 3 night stay and this hotel made it easy to access everything. Loved the extremely kind and helpful staff. I would recommend this to others. We also liked the beach area the hotel offered.

Our room was modest but clean. I should have tried earlier to nook a sea view room. We spent very little time in the room and instead sat out on the deck area overlooking the castle and made new friends each evening.

Great 3 star hotel,excellent location.in the city center right on the beach.Very professional staff-we got early check-in-thanks.

Дуже приємний персонал, гарне розташування біля замку, поруч пляжі, недалеко від вокзалу і підйомника, знаходиться на набережній. Дуже чисто в номері, перебувала протягом 9 днів, прибирали і міняли білизну 2 рази. Зручне ліжко, що дуже важливо на відпочинку.

Хотілось би сніданки більш розширені в плані нарізки і свіжих овочів. Але випічка і кава була дуже смачна.

Personale poco accogliente (a parte la reception) Colazione scarsa con personale poco professionale. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante (mezza pensione) il menù buono ma il personale è impegnato a seguire il ristorante e poco dedito a seguire i clienti del hotel. Inoltre inutile scrivere su Booking che c’è la spiaggia dell’hotel, meglio precisare che si tratta di una piccola piattaforma poco fruibile e per giunta anche a pagamento!!!!!!

La ubicación es espectacular, además todo el personal es muy amable. A su vez, me gustó mucho que fuera un hotel eco-friendly.

Las almohadas son demasiado finas y no me resultaron cómodas.

Nothing really. Bathroom was quite small but no issue

I stayed during an unusually extremely hot July and the room was very comfortable to sleep in. There is air conditioning in the room, however, at night leaving the balcony doors open was enough keep the room cool. No mosquitos. I had an ocean view and it was a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning. It was a single room however it had a spacious queen bed, a desk, a small fridge and my room (208) had a walk in robe which was terrific as I was staying 11 nights. It was nice to be able to completely unpack my suitcase. The bed was made every day which was great. The fridge broke down during my stay and it was replaced within an hour of advising the reception staff. The staff are very attentive. The hotel has access to a little section of water with lounge chair and umbrella. For those unfamiliar with European beaches, they are not free. So the chair & umbrella costs 15 euros per person. I had a lovely stay at Hotel Italia e Lido and will return next year.

Here now 8 nights and we just love it! So different, it is an older hotel and if you give it time you will discover it is like going back to when things were more simple and people were kinder. Nothing slick, renovated or cool for instagram and its 100% perfect that way. We love our big terrace overlooking the harbour, our king bed is so good, the water pressure best on our trip. The staff have all been so nice and helpful and completely genuine. Rapallo is a wonderful place & we feel so glad we chose this hotel as its easy to go to the ferry, old town, train & beach on foot. We loved the sunbed situation downstairs too. Our only problem is a bit of the old hotel drain smell which isn't ideal but ive encountered it at the best of hotels in Morocco and Bali so understand it happens. Anyway we highly recommend this hotel and to book a room type with the large terrace over the sea ( 101-106 i believe).

Vår vistelse var perfekt :) Otroligt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Läget på hotellet är nog ett av de bästa i Rapallo - precis jämte havet med en fantastisk utsikt. Äter man i deras restaurang så har även terassen denna vy. Maten i restaurangen var bland det bättre vi åt under hela vår resa, dessutom prisvärd. Frukosten var riklig och det fanns mycket att välja mellan. Rummen var lagom stora och kändes helt nyrenoverade.

Never stayed in a place where there was no glasses to have a drink out of . Lady at reception said couldn’t have glass because of safety issues. What a load of BS

This hotel is no more than a 3-star and probably less. Mattress was lumpy and pillow hard as a rock. To sit on the hotel's private tar beach costs $15 in addition to your room. The sea side walk by hotel is lovely with the ferry to Portofino, etc., near the hotel.

Room was OK with a view of the Castle, and Port. Coffee machine, included and a fridge. Swimming area was disappointing, charge of 15 Euro Each to have a sunlounge on the concrete step. The water quality is quite poor near the hotel as its inside the Marina, we decided to walk up to the beach clubs outside the Marina and pay extra 5 Euro. for far better clear sea water to swim in. Breakfast is quite good, and Luca is a real friendly guy that works there.

Die aussergewöhnliche Lage ist absolut empfehlenswert. Direkt am Meer und alles in kurzer Distanz erreichbar. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, abwechslungreich und schmackhaft.

Leider hatte das Hotel keine Parkmöglichkeiten für das Fahrzeug. Die Suche in Rapallo nach einer Parkmöglickeit für eine Woche war nicht ganz einfach. Auf Grund der Platzverhältnisse um das Hotel aber verständlich.

We stayed the night at this unique hotel and loved the simplicity and cleanliness of our stay. The front staff were lovely and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious.

An older property and the room was a little dark and could easily be spruced up with some paint and decoration.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We loved the old fashioned feel to it..we had a room with a terrace overlooking the little nearby beach. I went for a dip every morning, the hotel provided towels. Great location and walkable to most of Rappallo. We got the local boat to Portofino and did the Cinque Terre the next day. A fabulous base. The 2 ladies on reception were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Food was great, service was even better because of Angelo!

The hotel is perfectly located in Rapallo, only a few minutes walk from train station and ferry pier, and beside many restaurants and bars. We had a triple room on 4th floor with balcony overlooking the bay and Rapallo castle - absolutely beautiful. We day tripped easily to both Portofino and the Cinque Terre from here, really convenient. I highly recommend Hotel Italia e Lido and we look forward to returning.

We had a party on their outside deck to bring together family members from the US who were jn town for a wedding along with relatives who live in Rapallo. It was a magical location next to the Mediterranean and the beautiful historic Rapallo tower that sits in the sea. The Italian staff spoke English very well so it was way to communicate our needs. They were so attentive and caring and let us decorate it to celebrate the newlyweds. The place was affordable and food was amazing! The staff was very flexible when we needed more time and made sure we were well taken care of! The place was clean and very nice in an easy location to get to by train.The kids played in the beach below which kept them preoccupied! As always, parking isn’t the easiest in Italy especially when busy but we took a taxi and others took the train or bus. Love this place and will definitely consider staying here next time!

La posizione! E' lungomare a due passi dal centro con a fianco una piccola spiaggetta libera, la camera era enorme e vista mare nonostante non avessimo scelto la camera con vista, un bagno di una metratura considerevole, con tutti i comfort ed anche i kit di cortesia. Staff gentilissimo, siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno e volevamo chiedere di lasciare gli zaini, ma la ragazza alla reception ha comunque fatto una verifica se la camera fosse pronta per provare a darcela in anticipo, nonostante non l'avessimo chiesto. In fase di prenotazione abbiamo chiesto una camera fumatori e il letto matrimoniale e ci è stato accordato, avevo il phon e mi mancava l'adattatore e sono stati prontamente prestati dalla reception. Sembrano banalità ma è il 4 albergo in cui transito quest'anno e sono stati i più accorti verso i clienti. Mi ha ricordato gli alberghi autentici di una volta, quelli dove lo spazio non è risicato e calcolato al millimetro per farci stare piu camere possibili, quelli dove magari il bagno non è un simbolo di modernità ma almeno hai delle mensole dove appoggiare il beauty, quelli che non sono fighetti e di design ma i letti ed i cuscini sono comodi e le tende oscuranti non sono solo belle da vedere ma funzionano. Non vi aspettate camere chic e moderne, ma se cercate un albergo comodo centrale spazioso e vicino a tutto, con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo è stra-consigliato.

Struttura un pochino datata. Avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione, ma tutto sommato per una notte va bene.

Il balcone vista mare

Purtroppo la posizione centrale è il golfo su cui si affaccia l’ hotel sì che si senta molto la musica dei locali intorno … quindi non ho potuto godere del balconcino e dello sciabordio del mare come avrei voluto.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und alles scheint schon etwas Patina zu haben. Persönlich finde ich auch etwas Liebe zum Detail, wie etwa Blumen auf der Terrasse immer schön!

Clean modern rooms and a friendly helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Excellent location about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Near many shops,restaurants and a 3 minute walk to the ferry boat to Portofino.

Il personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo (dovrebbe essere sempre così, ma purtroppo non lo è sempre), la posizione ottima e il ristorante di ottima qualità a un prezzo corretto (nonostante i ristoranti degli hotel abbiano generalmente una reputazione non ottimale)

A Rapallo non è semplice parcheggiare, ma grazie alle indicazioni del personale dell'hotel il problema è stato risolto
