Hygiene is not good.
Resort feels
Quite old facilities and room has mosquitoes.
The pool is ok..the place is convenient
The list here is not updated anymore..the rooms need some renovating and updating..but the aircon is still working very well..the standard room is creepy..restau closes at 3pm..but you can order grabfood..
Det är lugn och trevlig personal särskilt Gap.
Toqletten är inte fräsch.
I like the family villa except, coz it has its own garage just need updated the bathroom and fixture
the villa that we were in was ok, the regular rooms had problem with the AC unit and door lock. I love the structural view of the hotel but sad that it wasn't as great anymore like many years ago
The staff is friendly. Accomodating
The water is very slow. Can't flush the toilet. Can't use straight away the water tank, not enough water to flush the toilet. Very uncomfortable.
L'établissement est correct. Le seul souci est le petit déjeuner trop cher et pas copieux. Un seul café et une seule assiette avec 2 œufs et une saucisse. Le reste est convenable pour le prix
Petit déjeuner
Neighbour was burning bush. So it was Smokey
The bed is worn out
For the regular price of 2400 for standard room is not okay compare to others especially the bed the smell is not okay

Great place to stay, the staff are very accommodating, Facilities are well maintained, Neat room. Water in shower gives a relaxing massage;) Swimming at night is great. Quiet place. Place is near the airport, mall, church, park and Roxas food park.
This place lacks hot water in the shower. No bidet and the faucet in the bath isn’t working. You have to request for the TV remote, slippers, pail and dipper. If you can avoid this place, please do. Consider other accommodations in the area. I will never go back to this place ever again
This hotel is very nice place , nice pool , very attractive from the entrance. I was visiting my cousins to this hotel .my 3 sons happy sending their time in the pool at night ...very nice place quite and elegant.
I think this hotel needs a huge renovation amd Cleaning😔 I know there's so much to offer from This one but needed much work...the Spanish era design and some old things are ok their rooms were old and rusty, a serious overhaul is needed...
The place is old. The first room we were put into didn't even have a separator for the shower and toilet. They transferred us to a loft next. That was better. Our shower had a divider but water would leak under. The food was so-so. The only 2 redeeming factors are the pool and the staff. Big pool, super accommodating staff. It was easy to get a taxi there too.
NO CLEAN WATER (!!!??!!) NO HOT SHOWER. NO SHOWER DIVIDER or CURTAIN. This OLD FACILITY has polluted faucet water, that certainly should not have passed city health inspections. My experience: Upon opening the tap, the water that came out was murky with tons of tiny reddish fibers floating in the water. I let it run for 20mins (thinking pipes are just old). It lessened a bit but still cloudy water. Previously since there is NO HOT SHOWER, the bellboy told me to boil my own water with the tea kettle and provided me a pale. After 20mins and boiling 4 kettles full of water I had prepared myself for the bath. Upon opening the tap once more, DARK REDDISH-BROWN WATER CAME FLOWING OUT LIKE IT WAS STRAIGHT OUT OF A HORROR FILM. Both shower and sink faucets flowed brown. Imagine if i had not tested the faucet first and just opened the shower, this $h** water would have spewed all over me and all over the bathroom (since there is no shower divider) Until this place is inspected and reassessed for its permit to operate, I do not recommend anyone staying here, simply for BASIC HYGIENE REASONS.
To be fair, the hotel is decent looking, their rooms are ok. Although their bathroom needs work. Hot water from the shower isnt available although the hotel attendant who came to fix it said that it was working fine. Their breakfast is served buffet style in a 50's diner themed restaurant. The rooms are located a bit far from the resto and front desk..our room was at the farthest end so when my workmate forgot our key card inside our room and we were locked outside, the long walk going to the front desk was stressful. It was lucky that along the way we saw a hotel attendant who opened our room for us. The set up is all good when you are just there vacationing with family or friends and time is not ticking away. They have a nice big swimming pool area that you could all enjoy. But when you are staying for a business trip, the location of the rooms will cause hassle and you will need to allocate more time to prepare for meetings. Also, if there isnt a line of taxi outside the hotel (normally there are esp in the morning) it is difficult to get a cab from this location.
It was my first time to this hotel, I was with 6 people in our team , we booked 3 rooms. It was raining hard when we checked in, going to the rooms you need an umbrella to go because you will walk in an open area and if we didn't have our own umbrella surely we will be wet because of the rain. The staff on duty at that time is somewhat disoriented, first she said that the bag of my friend is already in the room, but when my friend checked it wasn't there and he was given the runabout that maybe it was delivered to the other rooms of our team but apparently it was not, soon he found the bag just inside the front desk area. Second, I was given a room key card with the number of the room posted on the card, to my surprise when I entered the room, the bellboy said that somebody is in the room, then I checked someone is sleeping on the bed. I was given the WRONG KEYCARD, WRONG ROOM. Imagine if we intrude the privacy of the people inside. I was fuming mad, and the front desk agent admitted that she was at fault because she gave the wrong card. The breakfast is lousy, the hotel is not prepared to have plenty of guest. It took time for them to refill the serving dish, breakfast consist of 1 viand, egg and rice. Fruits, after the 1st serving no refill, You have to ask for plates glasses, utensils and cups. They are under staff. I have been to other hotels and I can say this is one of the worst hotel I have been.
This is my first time in this hotel. I searched it in Map.me and it was easy to guide the taxi although it is somewhat off north from the downtown of Davao city. The entrance road was somewhat old and unmaintained the facade looks old but when I enter the lobby was a different story. Now I understand the design to be rustic. There were 2 cannon in front. The staff were so accommodating. When I enter the room it was a different story. It was an apartment 2 storey type. The first floor was a sala and dining the second floor has 2 rooms, I selected the room overlooking the swimming pool. The area around the pool was decorated with wooden fixtures like benches. Another surprise was their restaurant. It was a collectors haven. Its has collections of old signage and other things that you forgot to eat by just glancing all the collections. I was a hotel like no other. Come to see it for yourself.
Old hotel. Or at least its old looking. Rooms are average. Hot shower not working. Staff checked and it insisted that it was hot and working. I guess the hot water was imaginary. The water kettle was not working either but they replaced with a new one. You can be locked out of your own room since card keys tend to fail. Front desk is far from the rooms so if you are locked out, you will have to walk all the way to the reception area. Not really the crown regency hotel that i was expecting.
Sure the hotel is a bit outdated or has a outdated look to it. But it surely fits with the whole character with “The Old Philippines”. Staff is super friendly, especially the bellboys. Always there to help, give information and have a laughter. The breakfast food served in their 50’s style restaurant was good enough and more then plenty. No noises from the nearby road, eventhough Davao City is a busy and crowded city. For the price I would recommend. Our room had 2 seperate beds on the first floor. Tv in the upper bedroom, own bathroom. Balcony and closet. Ground floor is the kitchen, another bathroom, fridge, small livingroom. The couch can be transformed to a extra bed if needed. And there is a door leading to the gym. Once again, it is outdated. But for the price you can’t expect it to be like a Hilton hotel or Marco Polo hotel. Its affordable and good. If in need for extra towels you can always get one against a small extra charge. Everything you order as extra will be charged to the room. Breakfast can also be charged to the room.
If your the type of person looking for peace & quiet then avoid this place like the plague.Basically the pool is the central feature surrounded by self catering units - far from a typical hotel of the Crown Regency standard you might find in Cebu.It seemed to me the main customers attending were family groups - some very large therefore the noise factor emanating from this area was horrendous. With the pool being open until 10:00pm its virtually impossible to try and sleep before then. As for the condition of the self catering I stayed in - just awful & screaming out for a makeover, door hinges squeaking (WD40 - does the trick) ! lack of noise insulation - could hear guests above moving furniture, just so annoying.Dated & noisy air conditioning units.Toilet was horrible - when flushed brown colored water flowed into the bowl ! Only positive point I could find was the staff who were very helpful & wifi connection ok.
what a dump! 80 bucks for a room with no fridge, and a tv that barely works. at first it wouldnt even come on, then moe and curly show up and cant fix it, then the boss comes in and plugs it in! then the remote wont work. i guess larry was the one to hook up the cable box and mounted it right behind the tv. so you have to point the remote to the side of the tv. im not kidding folks, this is for real. then my wife notices another 20 bucks added to the bill and the front desk girl says you should have read the fine print! im not making this up. rude and crude. save some money and find some place else, any place else! this wouldnt even make a good dogpound.
This hotel has definitely seen better days , but the staff friendliness and the willingness to assist more than made up for it. The location is a bit out of the way , but central to the large malls. Taxis are very professional and usually parked right outside. Both the gym and pool are small but adequate, especially in this lower price ranged accommodation. The restaurant and bar are very good , and opened late.
Had an overnight stay Jan 19-20,2018, I would like to commend Excellent service of Mr Jhon of front desk he was very efficient, this hotel has clean rooms & first class breakfast treat. Thank you so much.
Everything looked and felt dated at Crown Regency Residence Davao. The non-villa rooms especially (where my friends and I stayed in) could really use a makeover - too dim lighting, beds that felt worn-out and low ceiling alleys among many, many others. This was not the Crown Regency property that I expected at all after seeing its sister hotels in Cebu and Boracay. Unless you really have a reason to stay here, book an accommodation downtown or elsewhere. You can find better-priced properties there with far more superior amenities too.
We stayed at their Villas by the Pool.Kitchenette and connecting bedroom is good for quite a big families or groups. When you wake up early in the morning you can just dip yourself in the pool or when you are tired during your whole day activities to refresh yourself!!
Don't you dare book this Hotel. Everthing has to be replaced. Bed linens- They do not change it. I saw some marks (I don't know what it is) No complimentary toothbrush (you have to buy it) The ceiling is too low Stinky room especially the Bathroom Pls pls pls do not book this Hotel. Visited last March 28, 2017
Services are good and staffs are nice. Don't expect too much to their breakfast buffet. The location is near to places you want to visit so it's a major plus. They don't have free toothbrush and toothpaste so be sure that you have your own or you buy before you go to your room. I just noticed that you can hear some noises from the other rooms. I also have a hard time using the remote control of the T.V.
staff were friendly and helpful. rooms were large with two double beds. rooms were dated and in need of refurbishing. cheap when booked thru agoda but we were given a room that was a bit far from the hotel lobby. a long walk thru pool side, up a semi-circular staircase and thru hallway maze, we were give a room with super cold aircon but no hot water for shower. the room was terrible but they transferred us to a better room which led me to believe that they offer two different quality of rooms depending on where you book your reservation. terrible rooms when booked thru third party sites but cheap. better rooms when walk in but more expensive rates. the hotel is located right inside a dilapidated private road shared with a motel.
