Not enough time from our side.

The hotel was fine, although the bathroom could have done with a better clean and upgrade, particularly around the shower, which looked dirty and old. Dinner was pleasant and not overpriced. All in all, Underwhelming!

The leisure facilities were underwhelming and on looking in through the window, we decided we wouldn't bother. To get to the leisure facilities you had to walk outside, although covered, would have been a cold walk back with wet hair. The staff would not provide us with glasses or an ice bucket in our room because we didn't buy the champagne on site, it was our wedding anniversary, which we explained, but there was no leeway at all, which is shocking taking into consideration our room was over €200 for the night. Breakfast was very average. Our room was Definitely not one of the nicer rooms, or at least we think... Hoping someone paying more money got better for what they were paying. Everything about the place was average. We have stayed in better hotels, we are very unlikely to return! Not what we expected at all.

Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig. In der Nacht hörten wir aus einem der Nebenzimmer Schreie einer Frau, die ihrem Mann wohl beim Üben von Abschlägen half, als er unentwegt und in rasender Geschwindigkeit Bälle gegen das Bett und die Wand schlug, bis er wohl endlich ein Hole-in-one schaffte. :-)

Cerca del aeropuerto a unos 15 minutos. Tienes la opción de cenar en el propio hotel lo cual te permite no mover el vehículo. La comida estaba muy buena. La cama era cómoda y la habitación en general muy amplia. Muy buen desayuno.

No habia smart tv y no pudimos conectarla.

250 euro for one night, only to have no hot water for the shower. No other rooms available. Myself and my wife were offered to shower in a changing room. Not exactly value for money.....

Lovely old style hotel on a golf course. Location close to Dublin and airport is superb, as are the courses. Chef and cooks really know what they are doing, Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all superb. Bravo. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Lots of rooms onsite and many room size options, means relatively good value for money if you book sensibly. Spa and pool area very nice.

Perhaps still trading a little on past glories, some areas need attention to bring hotel back to best standards (external courtyard garden, pool/golf changing facilities and some floorcoverings and decorations could do with investment)

The food was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. Staff were lovely and the property was in a good state of repair.

I booked three rooms two were superior twins and one was a double. I was never given the double just another twin but as we arrived late at night they could not do anything about it. I must admit to being disappointed but we slept well in the beds anyway.

A little remote from Dublin City

- Staff are friendly and always available. - Beautiful golf course and quiet setting - Spacious rooms

- Rooms are basic lacking a few modern conveniences like Individual heating/cooling controls (cooling is rarely a requirement in Ireland outside of July/August - so this is a non-issue most of the year) - Rooms are clean but there are some general maintenance issues. The bathroom in the room we booked needed to be resealed around the bathtub (see picture) - this might be a room specific issue and everything else was in good working order and clean.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful area. The golf course view from the room was a plus. The room was extremely clean, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was great. The pool and Spa facilities were also great. I didn’t get the chance to visit the bar/restaurant but I did order the food to my room and the portion was massive. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Since I had the Spa booked on a Sunday morning, the parking was quite crowded, it took me a little while to find a spot, but it got quieter in the afternoon.

Leisure centre area didn't live up to luxury impression given on booking. Hotel itself was not a luxury experience, pleasant but not luxury.

I liked the setting the fresh air and it was quiet and the staff were very nice.

The food was average at best.

Food in the restaurant was great and the breakfast was good staff in the restaurant were also great.

We left our room at roughly 8am on Tuesday we returned around 18:30 to find the the door to our room had been left opened by cleaning staff. Thankfully nothing appears to have been taken, but anyone could have been in the room and taken anything they wanted luckily we had not left anything of value at the hotel. I spoke to the manager at reception who asked was anything taken and that he would look into it. That was the last I heard from them. I brought it up again at check out the following morning. I was told that the manager would be in later and they would inform him and that they would be in touch. No contact from them either.

Lovely setting. Very quiet and peaceful. Very near the airport. Staff were lovely, Guinness was good. Food was good in the bar, beds comfortable, new towels nice.

It was one of those hotels of faded grandeur. Decor was old and jaded. Breakfast could be a little better.

Vraiment déçus par le restaurant, par rapport aux photos et au fait que ce soit un établissement lié au golf, je m'attendais à de vraies tables et de bons petits plats, mais non assis sur des fauteuils au lieu de chaises, moins confortable pour manger, c'est plutôt bar, et la qualité de la nourriture était très en dessous de ce que ce genre d'établissements propose habituellement. Clairement on y vient pas pour manger. Comme les bagages ont été portés en arrivant, étonnant qu'ils n'aient pas proposé la même chose au retour. J'ai demandé l'accès à une balance pour peser nos bagages avant de reprendre l'avion, mais il n'y en avait pas.

Swimming pool is good

Bed was very hard spring bed, body wash dispenser empty in the shower. Signs that cleaning could be improved. Breakfast was ok but basic.

Don’t let negative reviews put you off, yes a country house and the odd dated look but absolutely fine, loved the hot scones on arrival , staff very helpful , lots of flexibility with the food menus gorgeous steak at dinner , very good hot breakfast, golf at a good track on reduced rates , we ll be back……… plus easy journey from the North

The shower over the bath is a bit fickle to use.

On a tour of Ireland. Brought to this hotel by a tour company for our last nights stay. We were given a room with no air conditioning and told we cannot open the windows because there are bats outside in the trees near our room. The bats will come in the room. Dublin is having a heat wave, our room is a sauna. They refuse to move us because they are fully booked. We have two small table top fans running and it’s as hot as a sauna in our room. This is inhumane treatment. We are stuck here sweating all night. It’s 3 AM and we are very frustrated. DO NOT book this hotel.

Breakfast at 9am was missing food- there was 1 girl working in the Breakfast room-too much work for 1 person. Selection of breads was missing? Low in cereal variety and amount. No toaster - had to ask for toast. We have stayed about 6 times at hotel-service and food available at breakfast needs attention. Doors leading to leisure centre require painting and brushing away debris. Fish pond is disgusting and needs to be removed.. Male changing rooms-flooring and lockers needs COMPLETE renewnal. There are other hotels in Malahide that have renewed and updated their facilities. How does hotel management not see what I see? Very disappointing overall stay .

Staff and location

Room door needing excessive force to close properly (Reported to reception) They did offer another room but child was already settled and we didn't want to disturb her. Unfortunately just after 6am the fire alarm went off and we were told that some idiot golfer opened a door somewhere on the complex.

Friendly staff,clean fresh aroma throughout the hotel. Clean spacious rooms.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience, and our waitress truly made the visit exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her friendly attitude, professionalism, and genuine care for customer service ticked every box. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made us feel valued and well looked after. It’s rare to receive service of this standard, and she is a real credit to the team. We’ll definitely be back, thanks in no small part to the outstanding service she provided. Highly recommended! Such a lovely hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional. The room was super clean. The bed and pillows very comfortable. It was helpful to us that they had 2 EV chargers which meant we could charge our car overnight so it was fully charged for our return journey to Donegal.

Air conditioning would have been nice because it was a very hot day and night. We had to sleep with the window open and the curtains open to let some breeze in to the room. Not keen on a shower curtain over the bath because it has a tendency to stick to you when you’re showering, a shower screen would be better.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Uralte Teppiche, die stark riechen, keine Klimaanlage, das Zimmer war sehr warm, veraltete Badezimmer, völlig veraltetes Schwimmbad, das Zimmer ging zum Parkplatz raus und es war furchtbar laut, da ständig nachts Autos auf den Parkplatz fuhren und zum Teil laut hupten. Das Doppelbett war unglaublich schmal, so dass man fast hinausfiel, wenn man darin zu zweit schläft. Der Preis steht in keinem Verhältnis zu diesem Hotel, dass einen starken Sanierungsrückstand hat. 289 EUR für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück.....

Last night of our 7 day tour of Ireland with Trafalgar. Disappointed in the hotel appearance is in disrepair a lot of very poorly done repairs and paint in the room and all over the hotel. Carpet looks and felt like it had been there for 50 years as well as the furniture and window dressings. Our windows looked like someone had there dog in the room and he licked them. Not A 4 star. The photos do not represent the property misleading.also spiders in the room and .

Rauhallinen sijainti lähellä lentokenttää noin vartin ajomatkan päässä. Kylpylän käyttö kuului majoituksen hintaan. Huone oli kooltaan iso.

Kylpylän poreammeen vesi oli aivan liian kuumaa, siellä ei pystynyt olla. Hotellin sisustus oli hieman vanhahtava. Hotellin pubin palvelu illallisella oli aika hidas. Ruoka oli kuitenkin hyvää.

Thanks so much to Rebecca and all the staff at Roganstown for ensuring we had a fabulous wedding day :) We are living in Australia so it was an interesting experience planning a wedding from the other side of the world! Rebecca was very accommodating with our requests and made the wedding planning process so easy. I don't think there was one thing I would change from our wedding! I would highly recommend any newly engaged couples to consider Roganstown for their special day. My family had such a wonderful time we are now looking at booking Roganstown for another up coming family event. Thanks again :)"
