The location and their facilities are the best in the area. Great restaurant and shuttle service to the airport.

I like staying here, it would be nice to include breakfast.

The hotel is old. The hotel is very clean. The food in the Agave restaurant is delicious. We came from McAllen to a procedure at Santander Hospital and we walk two blocks to the hotel…. Pharmacy are close and lots of doctors too. The border is very close too ( walking)

Great location for medical stay grocery store and convenience store literally right around the corner .! Hotel is well kept and felt safe at all times would definitely stay there again .

Going in was a beautiful building, front desk seemed friendly, and the restaurant attached to the hotel looked Lovely. Up until I checked in. I get my room key go in my room, TV doesn’t work, door doesn’t lock, they can’t change me to a new room. The staff mentioned they can send someone to fix the lock, no once came. Hours pass and I get hungry. I decided to do the smart thing and stay in the hotel bc keep in mind you’re in REYNOSA. I go into the restaurant in the hotel, Agave. Im told to seat myself so I do. I can’t feel eyes staring quite a bit. I ignore it unless it’s the waiter. He ask basic questions, what to drink. I get a NORMAL lemonade. I after taking a few sips I get a bitter tart aftertaste like some cleaning products. I believed it was probably dish soap or lousy dishwasher detergent. I get my food. I get tacos and they’re plain as can be with no seasonings in it at all. I can’t finish it only ate two bc I was starving. I drank HALF of my lemonade and still noticed a particular gentleman starting. I ignored him up until he came up to my table and looked at my dish then straight up stared at me. Only thing I did was a polite yet confused smile. He walks off. I start to feel uncomfortable so I pay and walk back to my room.I start to feel like I’m on an elevator as I’m walking and everything starts to spin. My legs are wanting fold. I get to my room and I’m nearly loosing consciousness until I make myself throw everything I consumed up.I stayed up until I left at7am

Our stay was okay the buffet for the morning breakfast was the overall amazing that’s what keep us happy the people from there restaurant was so kind and friendly. But the hotel it’s self was not as we thought!!! The staff in the front was not friendly at all she didn’t seem like she wanted to help. Overall the hotel room smelled nasty like sewer and the room Wasn’t in good condition. But the hotel driver was very nice and polite! Also they did a good job on keep vehicles safe and the gate was close to prevent theft! So that’s something to take into consideration! But I hope they improve with maintenance for the room because those room smell nasty I couldn’t really sleep. Also improve with front desk staff.

It is quite, the restaurant is good, it is clean, the location is close to the border and it is safe.

It takes forever for a hot water, the entire hotel smell like smoke. There were a lot Koreans with open doors in their rooms smoking and since you can't open the windows their solution is to open the front door and the entire hallway now stinks. The hotel manager does not enforce the free-smoke hotel.

I found a bed bug crawling in my sheets. All night I was being eaten alive too! I couldn’t sleep at all! Worst experience of my life. Yuck!

Too old and small room and oveall need to start remodeling the hotel. Its a very good hotel but pricing is too high for what we paid for.

Not what i expected for the price paid. No room keys where available had to get front desk to be opening the room door. Only 2 towels to shower very outdated rooms a/c wasn’t good.

Rooms need to be updated. The lobby looks amazing but rooms aren’t. Pool is not working. This was the mail reason I booked this hotel and after I checked in I saw the pool was being repair, very disappointing. The only good thing thing is that is very close to the border . That’s all .

This Hotel has become my favorite place to stay in Reynosa. The Hotel is very clean with very pleasant employees .I highly recommend it during this time COVID epidemic. They keep it very clean and disinfected.

The hotel was really nice and clean as was the room. Beds were so comfy and those pillows were like sleeping on clouds. The disappointment was the pool. Dirty! And tiles missing with what looked like mold on the wall. The pool could use a serious upgrade! Other than that hotel staff was really accommodating and friendly.

I booked this reservation for some of our guys that are doing disaster recovery in the Edinburg area... only to realize AFTER booking that it was in Mexico, not Texas. When Hotels.com tried to cancel my reservation for me for a refund, this hotel said no way... not their problem. So screw them!!!!

Safety was the best quality I needed..The hotel was very safe, despite being in such a dangerous city.. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. I didn’t need to leave the hotel grounds for anything.. I would stay again.

Hotel lobby is nice and big. Breakfast is exceptional. The bar service wasn’t the best but the music and atmosphere was good. Attended a wedding in their reception room and it was beautiful and big. Rooms are a little run down for example fridge did not work but front office and staff are friendly.

We had an unexpected stay in Reynosa. I figured this would be a safer place to stay; I was more than happy to pay extra for that. The room was nice, a bit quaint. The hotel entrance was fancy. We went to check in, after reserving via Expedia. The girl seemed annoyed after looking us up and asked how we were paying. We told her by card and she charged it. The next morning,I found that was charged both by Expedia and the Hotel. This has been a headache. Another reason we opted for the hotel was the free breakfast. Oh, nope, not free for us. We had to pay; it was not included. The water pressure was a bit low and didn't get very hot. Other than this, it was a good experience. The breakfast buffet (that we paid 200 pesos per adult) was great.

Our room was facing inside the courtyard and was very quiet. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar with accommodating, friendly and wonderful staff. For travelers who do not speak Spanish, Selina at the front desk is the person you want to be friends with! She is awesome! The king size bed was the perfect softness with lots of pillow choices for a great sleep. The bathroom and amenities are typical of a Holiday Inn. Room service was fast and friendly too. This is the only hotel I would stay at in this city.

The hotel needs remo in the bathrooms, its good in general, has 2 restaurants in site and many other options around in a walking distance.

1 The bathtube drain did not work 2 The phone was on bad conditions to make a call. 3 The laundry and room service never answer the phone. 4 No shampoo neither s0ap and towels for two persons.

A nice and clean hotel in the center of Reynosa with bar and restaurant. Shuttle available to the nearby restaurants and plazas. Great customer service and rewards points. Won't recommend to go out at night but the hotel is a safe place

Hotel is close to bus station and a sori ana store. Parking is gated and someone is always there to open and close gate. Hotel staff was nice, helpful and friendly. Restaurant was good. Swimming pool was great. Room was great. Room had refrigerator, ironing board and cofee maker. I will definitely recommend this hotel and go there again.

It was really good.

Good location and overall comfortable beds, in the AM we were woken up by cleaning staff even though we placed "do not disturb" sign on the door handle, then they were vacuuming the hallways with very loud equipment. The hotel is somewhat degrading, soiled carpets, smells in hallways, bedroom had a weird smell as well..we were surprised because this is not how holiday hotels usually look like.
