何度か利用していますが、微笑みの国のプチホテル、大人の隠れ家ですね。なにしろ予約後のメールは「welcome back again」からはじまりますから。尤も、経営者が変わって少し昔とは雰囲気が変わりました。バージョンゼロから通っている方としてはそう思うところもありです。ついでにもうひとつ、ワイン好きの私としては少し寂しい気もします。とはいえ私がホテルに忘れ物をした際の対応は素晴らしいの一言。日本人スタッフもおいでで細かい込み入った話にも親身に対応して頂き、大変心強く、助かりました。やっぱりプーケットのカタビーチの真正面、夏休みに田舎のお婆ちゃんちに行った感じ、この感覚は捨て難いです。いいですなここは。

צוות נחמד מאוד. עזר ועשה הכל כדי להנעים את שהותינו. מיקום מצויין בחוף במפרץ מדהים. מי שאוהב לגלוש יכול לשכור גלשן ושיעורי גלישה. ארוחת בוקר מעולה, מוגשת לשולחן. שיהוי מרענן מאוד לעומת מלונות אחרים. מלון שקט ואינטימי, בלי ילדים קטנים (היינו עם מצבגרים והם נהנו מאוד). האזור נחמד ורגוע. הרבה מסעדות ובתי קפה

החדר היה קצת רועש בלילה ולחלקינו זה הפריע לישון. זרם המים במקלחת חלש. לא הייתה מרפסת לייבוש בגדי הים בחדר שלנו.

The bathroom offers very little privacy as the sliding doors on our room didn't meet!

The pool is small but the beach is just metters in front , so it doesnt matter Restaurant prices are high The breakfast is so limited Some stuff are rude but the majority is very nice There were some construction works , it didnt bother us , but maybe other rooms had issues ! Great place anyway

This hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy Kata beach in the most southern corner of the bay located on the beach front meaning that the views were wonderful from dawn to dusk. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely repeat the stay.

From the moment we entered the door until we left it 12 nights later we were treated like royalty by the staff. The reception staff were always welcoming, the breakfast staff were very accommodating and the bar staff remembered everything. The room staff were perfect in their care of us, the gardens well maintained and the security staff made us feel very secure. The gym was air conditioned. The view of the sea and sound of the waves from our window was beautiful. The room was a good size, and everything we needed. Coffee machine and new water bottles every day were a plus that we didn't expect. Also the room was refreshed twice a day, in the morning and 'turn down' at night. The hotel was close to quite a few shops and restaurants, and the inevitable 7/11. We used Grab for taxis and security opened the gate for them. The beach was 6 steps away, and the swimming so safe. I use a full face snorkel and the fish in the rocks to the left of the hotel were beautiful and I saw so many. The Thai people are so respectful and it was a wonderful, memorable holiday.

This was our first trip to Phuket and our daughter told us to stay on Kata Beach because it would be more laid back than either Karon Beach or Patong Beach and we were thrilled to find a resort on the beach side of the road that turned out to be so incredibly special! The staff were all gracious, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. The location is spectacular with a lovely beach walk and beautiful views of the sunset in late February. The property and all of its amenities were five star in our books. The Boathouse is a jewel of a resort and when we come back to Phuket, we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay special!

This is a beautiful hotel. It’s a great size - big enough for amenities like a bar, restaurant and a small pool, but small and boutique enough to be about 5 steps down to the beach. I loved sitting on my private balcony looking out to the beach and pool. It’s not the quietest beach but really nice to take a stroll early in the morning. I could also see the beach from my bed when I’d opened my curtains in the morning! Food at the hotel was great - particularly the Thai omelette for breakfast and the spring rolls.

This is our second stay and will definitely won’t be our last. Great cozy resort, right on the beach and has everything that we needed for a relaxed vacation. Service stands as top and I must thank everyone for making our stay memorable. Special thanks to Mr Daniel and Mr X for making us feel very special. Worth noting that the hotel is next to many places to eat and hangout be it on the beach or the surrounding area. You actually do not need to leave Kata beach as it offers everything. Thank you again staff each and everyone. We will be back

Very nice, higher end resort in a perfect location. Service was very good, rooms were nice and spacious. Our only complaints are the bed was hard as a rock, and painful to sleep in, and there was a constant and loud beeping outside the resort that really took away from the tranquility, and relaxation of being on the patio, pool, and beach.

The location was super convenient. You have everything that you need within walking distance. The service was excellent. The staff anticipated anything that you needed.

The Boathouse is an oasis of calm in the busy resort of Kata beach. The location is the best. It sits right on the beach but still maintains its distance from the crowds. The staff are amazing and within a few days they are like personal friends. We paid for inclusive breakfast. Well worth it. No buffet here a very extensive and varied (Thai and western) options cooked fresh. The restaurant overlooks the sea. Delightful in the early morning and as the sun sets in the evening. Rooms look like they have been refreshed recently and our room was spacious with a sea view. Drinking water provided in thee room every day. Can’t think of anything bad to say about the hotel. If I travel to Phuket again I will stay here.

Das Ressort hat vollkommen überzeugt. Die Strandlage ist super und es war sehr schön gestaltet. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und freundlich. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und es fehlt einem an nichts. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Meerblick und es war ein wunderschöner Meerblick. Auch beim Frühstück konnte man sich seine wünsche erfüllen lassen. Es war traumhaft. Macht weiter so 👍🏻

Upon arrival our room leaked lots of water night 1 however staff initially tried to say we didn’t know how to use air con in tropical locations. We live in the tropics in Australia so pushed hard to have a room change and strangely enough the 2 nd room was fine. Not our fault at all . Management didn’t take this issue well at all. The supposed upgrade to rooms with new owners is tacky and not sure why they would put the lining stuff into rooms and around reception. Very tacky. They need to step up ambience in pool area as it’s just nothing and bla really. For a seaside location why not have lovely music of an afternoon. The sec is poor as the guards on duty at beach gates are constantly asleep and the door to enter and exit building from back side of building does not lock. Very poor effort to secure the building at night from beachside. Surely management can org tk have door fixed or replace it to ensure security inside the building. It’s a shame given the location is amazing but needs someone with an eye for detail to get things moving and the place spruced up. Some the staff were beautiful .

We enjoyed a lovely week here over Christmas 2025. We booked 2 Ocean Suites for our family of 5 - they are the best with their own sun lounges and overlooking the pool. Christmas lunch was absolutely wonderful - it was so good to have someone else cook it! Kata is crazy busy at this time of year, but The Boathouse is an oasis within the chaos! There are so many lovely sitting areas around the hotel so you can get a moment to yourself. We were beautifully looked after by the staff. Thank you for a memorable family holiday!

Beautiful hotel but having paid £2900 for 4 nights it was certainly not worth the money they did give us an upgrade for free so god knows what the room would of been like if we didnt have an upgrade but prices were obviously hiked right up for new year which was far too much and the beach you could get too anyways as it was public so basically paid all that money for the room! The hotel didnt even have allocated sunbeds on the beach they had to be paid for

Breakfast you couldn't just help yourself to whatever you wanted everything had to be cooked fresh but the wait time was ridiculous and it wasn't even busy and for the money I paid I found things that I had to pay extra for at breakfast given 3 grand paid for bed and breakfast for 4 nights was astronomical

This is the second year here as a December and January destination . On this occasion we spent less than a week of a 5 week trip to Phuket and Malaysia. They look after their guests very well from the à la carte breakfast on the beach front terrace to the pool service , restaurant dining and reception staff . Nothing is too much trouble. The location. is perfect with quick and easy access to the beach , pool bar prices are reasonable and includes service to your sunbed by the attentive and friendly pool staff at . The rooms are immaculate and spacious and are cleaned and topped. up with toiletries , towels, water xnd snacks twice daily. The front of the hotel is on a busy road but doesn't effect the tranquil experience once you enter the reception. It does however allow quick access to Kata beach areas and Kata Noi. We will be back

This hotel is perfectly located directly on Kata Beach, with immediate access to the sea and beautiful views. The location alone makes it special, but everything else lives up to it as well. The food was excellent, both in quality and variety, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well designed, offering a relaxing place to unwind after a day at the beach. The pool area is great, with a fantastic pool bar that adds a very relaxed, holiday atmosphere — especially in the afternoon and early evening. The only minor downside was a slightly noisy air-conditioning unit in the room, but this was the only complaint and didn’t significantly affect the overall experience. Overall, a great hotel with an unbeatable beachfront location, excellent service, and very good value. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Boathouse and loved our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and luxurious. The beds were so comfy and all the equipment was first class. Great view of the Maria.

We stayed in a penthouse suite and the room was immcaulate. Location is brilliant and the beach is beautiful. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our 1 week stay.

We had an amazing stay at the boathouse, rooms were very clean, almost brand new. Location was excellent right on Kata Beach, best beach in Phuket and in the middle of all the restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good a la Carte. My only regret that we didn’t stay there for the whole trip.

The Boathouse is such an amazing place to stay. Small enough not to get lost in the crowds, big enough to have excellent and personalised service. The restaurant was excellent and the staff quick and responsive (and food delicious!) The front desk staff were just so lovely and helpful - I can't say enough nice things. I got sick for a day, and the caring and personal attention we received was just next level. The location on the beach couldn't be beat, and it was close to the shops and market. Would definitely stay here again!

К отелю это не имеет отношение, но оценку данного места снижает. Вид из бассейна на море закрывают зонты и шезлонги арендаторов пляжа чья шумная и не ухоженная территория портит общее впечатление. Выход из отеля прямо на шумную, узкую улицу, с узкими тротуарами и потоком скутеров и автомобилей. Кроме как по пляжу прогуляться негде. Зато множество ресторанчиков, баров и к огорчению кофешопов! Когда это разрешили в Таиланде? Зря, притягивает соответствующую публику.

Tbh, booking the hotels for your vacation is always difficult to choose coz let’s face this, most of the accommodation’s advertisements and realities barely match, as in the pictures of conditions of rooms are always shown nice and luxurious however when you face the real place, it is not the same. But I have to admit that The Boathouse Kata is way beyond than I expected. Starting from the welcoming and hospitality from the front desk staff all the way to housekeeping department, every single person is absolutely amazing. Hotel room, location, cleanliness, food, service etc (I cannot mention all enough) are definitely worth money spent. The fact that it was raining every single day during our stay cannot depreciate the value of property and our enjoyment during our stay at all. Definitely a place to recommend and I am 100% going back there over and over again. Big thanks to all The Boathouse Phuket Team. 🙏

Exceptional lunch at The Boathouse! Chef Jonathan prepared a special curated menu for us and it was the highlight of our trip! Carefully crafted and portion sizes were perfect! Shame to hear that Chef Jonathan will be leaving in December! Were looking forward to host and event with him next year but he will not be around anymore by then.

For breakfast, I’d prefer a buffet rather than ordering from a menu, as the dishes often didn’t meet expectations. The price is slightly inflated.

Another visit to the Boathouse and my lofty expectations were exceeded yet again. The location is absolute beachfront, the staff are friendly and helpful, and right outside the front door is the hustle and bustle of Kata Beach. What sets the Boathouse apart from every other hotel I have stayed out in Asia is the food. Chef Jonathan and team made every meal from breakfast to late night snacks an experience to be remembered. Fresh produce and a creative menu meant I didn’t want to eat anywhere else over the course of my ten day stay. I travelled through Singapore on my way to the Boathouse and every meal I ate at the Boathouse was better than every meal I ate in Singapore – a foody capital. 10/10

Had lunch here many times which was always very good and finally got to stay for one night in a Junior Suite with balcony. Room was lovely with a great view and staff are very friendly and helpful with an almost immediate response rate. Managed to spend time at the pool and take advantage of the Happy Hour cocktails. Good choices for breakfast and you cannot beat the location right on Kata beach.

Superb experience. Perfect for a more mature and relaxing escape. Beach is lovely, staff/vibes/food equally so. Quiet area with easy access to all experiences you could want.

Great hotel...staff are welcoming and helpful, room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, usual amenities and with a great view from the balcony. Lunch excellent as usual, breakfast had good choices and the restaurant has the best location overlooking the beach. Cocktails at the pool were perfect!

This was a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. I can not speak highly enough about the staff here, all lovely, lovely people. We felt so welcome at this hotel and were sad to leave. Our junior suite was one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in.

My stay here was fantastic. Staffs were fantastic and they have very helpful yet friendly. The hotel is located in a good location and things are very well kept and clean here. Fantastic food and drink at their restaurant too. I am very impressed by this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever i come back to Phuket.

В воде очень много серферов-новичков, надо постоянно смотреть, чтобы не ударили доской. Улица возле отеля узкая и тротуар заставлен мотоциклами, местами приходится выходить на дорогу.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful boutique hotel for our wedding, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, care, and attention to detail that made us feel incredibly special.

Spectacular hotel! We splurged on an oceanfront suite and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. The pool is a bit small, but with the beach right in front of you, it didn't matter. We loved watching the surfers and the huge waves right from our room. Our family had an amazing time & memories and would definitely come back.

Hi, I stayed here from August 5-7. The place was nice, and the staff service was excellent. Overall, everything was very good. However, considering the room rate, I expected the room to be more convenient and comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t very cool. They did offer to move me to another room, but moving rooms with a lot of stuff is not always easy or convenient. The staff tried hard to make sure our stay was pleasant, and a technician came to our room a few times during our stay because the electricity kept going up and down. Despite these issues, I appreciate their effort and will consider coming back for a second chance—hopefully, with a better room next time! 😆

Breakfast was included in our pricing, we were very pleased that we did not have to front a buffet every morning. Instead we were given a breakfast menu to choose from a healthy list with a lot of variety. Most mornings Mr X ensured we were comfortably seated at our favourite table in the dining area which overlooked the beautiful waves with the sound of the sea filled with surf board riders and swimmers. The smiling staff were always at hand if you required anything from information about shopping, tuk tuks, cabs, places to see, doctors, pharmacies and recommendations for dining out. Jonathan, the Boathouse Executive Chef was very pleasant and happy to chat about his expansive A la carte dinner menu which featured Thai and Western Cuisine. Daniel the Food and Beverage manager was extremely helpful also with information on the Boathouse history along other details which made our two week stay more pleasurable. Our holiday was made so much better with all of the friendly staff greeting us with big smiles each day, they made us feel at home. Pepe (the joker) made us laugh, the beds are excellent and our room room overlooking the sea especially at sunset was perfect.

The airconditioner in our room was a little noisy.

What's not to like? The location is awesome. The rooms and the view are exceptional and the staff are brilliant. Big shout out to Jonathan who couldn't do enough to ensure we have tasty food every day. Tik at the bar works tirelessly and Mr X was great in the restaurant

Absolute beach front with the restaurant overlooking Kata Beach . Everything a first class experience and the staff are an amazing team. Beds very comfy, first class restaurant and service which is excellent value. Look forward to returning next year.

The in house restaurant had very good food the beach being right in front was very convenient. All of the staff were super helpful and always nice .

My partner and I came here for an evening meal after wandering around Kata town. We were warmly welcomed and were given a seat right at the front, with a nice cool breeze. The staff were all polite and very attentive to us. The food was very flavourful and fresh, and the cocktails went down well too, we had a lovely time x

I would actually rate The Boathouse 4.5 stars. The view for sunset is good, but you have to ignore all the people on the beach and the noise (there were air horns and whistles). The food was really good, we liked the mushroom bisque, tempura soft shell crab, sea bass, and ice cream. The crab cake wasn’t on the same level. Service was also not as attentive as we expected.

We had an incredible four night stay at the Boathouse Resort. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and there was plenty of unpacking space. The pool area is small but perfectly sized for the amount of people who are staying there. You also have a perfect view of the beach. The breakfast in the morning was delicious - not a buffet, but plenty of choices. I also enjoyed lunch there one day and it was a little pricey but very tasty. There is a scale, fridge and safe in the room as well as a beach bag you can use for your stay. The only thing missing was a bathtub but otherwise it was a perfect hotel and in a great location. They arranged for a transfer to the airport for us for an early morning flight and even packed us a breakfast to go since we were leaving so early.

Great location right on the beach next to surf shops. The staff were wonderful and looked after us so well. We’ll be back!
