Great for small kids plus big kids too. Excellent service. All rooms 2nd, 3rd, 4th floor outstanding. First floor has covered patio and outside shower. Also fenced in so nice with small kids.
Highly recommend! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt genuinely cared for. Every single person we encountered made us feel like we mattered. The front desk staff, valet, housekeeping, pool staff, and restaurant staff were all exceptional. They remembered our names, greeted us with smiles every time they saw us, remembered our breakfast order each morning, and were constantly asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. That level of hospitality is so rare these days, and it did not go unnoticed. There was a mix-up with our room when we arrived that truly came from a very thoughtful place. The way the staff handled it spoke volumes about this hotel. They went so far above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience that we left even more impressed than if nothing had happened at all. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine desire to make things right were unforgettable. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our fourth-floor view was absolutely breathtaking, the beach is just steps away, and having a quiet pool to relax at was such a treat compared to the club pool. We also loved the little touches that made the stay feel so special, like the fresh cookies delivered to our room each evening, the complimentary treat rooms on every floor with snacks, desserts, drinks, and unlimited bottled water, and the delicious food throughout our stay. This was our first wedding anniversary trip, and thanks to this incredible team, it became a trip we’ll always remember. We’ve already decided this is where we want to celebrate for years to come, and we fully plan on making this an annual—if not twice-a-year—tradition. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed, so valued, and so at home. We truly can’t wait to come back.
We loved our stay! Everything was great! Location is perfect, views were awesome. Resort only pool was much nicer than the public pools allowing more quiet pool days.
We've been coming to WaterColor Inn every summer for years. This trip, I actually asked Jared if the Inn had a new general manager because things felt different—in the best way. The staff seemed more attentive, and I noticed the kind of attention to detail that often goes unnoticed. The doors were consistently being cleaned, and any trash, cups, or cans left behind were picked up almost immediately. The towel service was wonderful, and it was especially nice that towels were still available even when the towel stand was closed. The sunscreen pump was another thoughtful convenience. The bottled water and fresh cookies at the front desk were also such a nice touch. I actually teach hospitality, so I especially appreciate the little details that elevate a guest's experience. Those thoughtful touches definitely did not go unnoticed and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We had a wonderful experience as usual we come here several times a year and always have the best experience ever! The accommodations are wonderful. The people are above exemplary, and it provides the atmosphere that we desire as a family.
Great location. Very walkable area, beautiful neighboring grounds/pathways. Beach Club and beach access were excellent and a 10/10 experience. Hotel and rooms itself need updating - do not match the experience of the Beach Club. Rooms felt only slightly more elevated than a typical, generic chain hotel and in spots were run-down and desperately needing renovation/refresh/modernization.
The best beach vacation on the planet. Nicest facility with impeccable staff. We hosted my daughter‘s wedding here two years ago. It’s the same amazing place now as it was then. And virtually every member of the staff two years ago was still working. It was wonderful to see familiar faces.
Our family had an incredible stay at WaterColor Inn and it’s one of the most family-friendly beach properties we’ve visited on 30A. Every room having a gulf view makes a huge difference — waking up and seeing the ocean every morning never got old. The setup of the property is extremely well thought out for families. The beach is literally just steps from the hotel, making it easy with kids, towels, and all the beach gear that usually turns into a production. Hotel guests also have access to a private pool area with dedicated waitstaff and much shorter lines compared to the public beach club areas, which made the experience feel much more relaxing and elevated. One thing we appreciated is that the nearby beach club can also be accessed by non-hotel guests who pay for entry, but staying at the hotel definitely came with perks and a more exclusive experience. Another huge bonus is the location — you can easily walk to Seaside, the iconic town where The Truman Show was filmed. It gave us plenty to do without ever needing to get in the car. A special shoutout goes to Mercer, who took care of us for three mornings at breakfast and again at the pool. His hospitality stood out even among an already excellent staff. He remembered our exact orders from the previous day without us saying a word and consistently went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed and taken care of. Employees like Mercer are what turn a great property into a memorable experience. One final touch we loved: the complimentary treat suites on every floor stocked with sodas, snacks, and frozen desserts. It’s such a smart and thoughtful amenity for families and added to the overall experience more than you’d expect. Highly recommend WaterColor Inn for families looking for a relaxing, walkable, upscale-but-comfortable beach vacation on 30A.
My husband and I (middle age) just returned from a 5-night stay at the WaterColor Inn and absolutely loved it. We were looking for a pristine beach where we could take long walks and a relaxing atmosphere. We'd never been to the 30A area, so we researched many other hotel options. WaterColor and the area didn't disappoint. Our room (401) was perfect, with an L-shaped balcony facing the gulf. We left the door open at night to hear the waves crashing. The room and grounds were clean, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the free bikes and kayak. Seaside town was an easy 1/2-mile walk. The pool was rarely busy. The soft rock-free sand melted under our feet, and the water was as turquoise and clear as in the Caribbean. Every night the hotel provided homemade cookies, even giving me my preferred gluten free version. We would stay here again.
Absolutely beautiful resort with very friendly staff who go above and beyond. Loved having bikes and beach access. Location was in the middle of everything. Room was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back!
We just love the location, the views, and the staff. From the cleanliness of the rooms, to the ease of check-in, to the entire staff: it’s always a pleasure.
Everything about the resort was fantastic!! Highly recommend. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was there plus more!
We had car trouble on the way down that pushed our reservation back a day, Watercolor Inn was flexible with our reservation and we were able to stay in the same or a similar room the entire stay. Randy and Jared are excellent and helpful on staff and made our stay special. This is a great spot for families with young children and we were very pleased with our stay overall.
Overall; just a phenomenal experience! The location, Watercolor Website & previous reviews sold us when booking our trip. We have experienced a lot of trips to Florida, but this was the best so far. Watercolor Inn should be commended for providing us one of the best vacation experiences yet. From the minute we arrived we were treated like we were special, everyone we encountered during our stay was extremely helpful & happy. The facilities are top notch. Our room was spacious, clean, very well maintained & well designed. Room service was awesome. The choice of things to do are not limited, the entire area is beautiful, and the beach is just spectacular. All of our dining exceeded our expectations. Don't hesitate to experience Watercolor Inn. Ps, we plan on returning in October!
Great overall experience. Location - while on one end of A-30- seemed to be the best side. Two reasons: 1) Seaside is by far the best beach town and experience- just great! 2) Watercolor Inn was fantastic. It’s not cheap to get a 3rd floor ocean view but it is spectacular! Staff is awesome, facilities were great and it’s a 5 min walk to seaside. Biking to opposite end of A30 took 40 min or just 10 easy min by car. Highly recommend Watercolor Inn
The 2 bedroom family suite with pool access was perfect for our family with 2 littles! We would stay here again for a relaxing getaway.
Amazing location, wonderful staff and service attention. We loved the spaciousness of the room and the details such as the “sweet treat” suite and in particular the diligence of the maid services. Friendly and helpful attitude of the Front Desk | Bell Service| Breakfast staff. Disappointed in $100/ day for beach chair set up given the nightly rate is $700+ FOOW restaurant is in a wonderful setting but the service / food was unimpressive We will be back.
Beautiful property. Very comfortable room. Excellent accommodating staff. Beach is exceptional. Only issue were the number of electrical outlets not working in room.
This is our second time staying at the Watercolor Inn! I love this spot. You cannot beat the location and the staff there is so wonderful. We have traveled there with 3 young kids and the staff made the whole experience so wonderful for us and our children. This is the place to stay with children! They go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for you! I love the pool and location to the beach, as well as access to camp Watercolor. There are just endless options for things to do! We love it!
Beautiful resort, brutal policy—$3,500 down the drain The Watercolor Inn and Resort looks amazing… until you need to change your dates. Their “no refunds, no exceptions” rule hit me hard—I tried shifting my stay by two weeks and lost every penny of the $3,500 I paid. No credit, no partial refund, nothing. Feels like a trap for anyone with real life plans. Gorgeous property, sure—but book somewhere flexible. I won’t be back.
Great Inn with tremendous location. Overall stay was a great experience! Room was great, snack suites nice touch and staff stupendous! Can’t wait to return.
Water Color provides a joyful atmosphere for pure relaxation. The staff, and I mean every staff member from the beach, restaurant, valet and front desk are so kind, thoughtful and joyful. It was an amazing place to spend time with friends or family. The price is worth the value of the experience. Try it once, and you will be back for more.
Gorgeous property, awesome amenities, and very accommodating staff. We love our stay at the WaterColor Inn and would highly recommend it.
Really an exceptional property with effective employees. There were a few mechanical problems but they were mostly promptly addressed.
Highly recommend WaterColor Inn. Everything was great and they made the stay easy and relaxing. The kids loved the treat suites, and the ability to visit all the pools. The beach was beautiful and just a short walk from the room. We will be back!
Our family absolutely loved our stay at WaterColor. The staff were always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From nightly baked goods room deliveries to bicycle rentals and sunset balcony dining, the experience was perfection.
From the moment you arrive you feel at home. The hotel signature scent is to die for and we can't stop thinking about the homemade cookies you get at turn down service. The location is perfect! Easy access to the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. I love that we have a complimentary parking spot and never have to worry about finding a spot. The whole family loves the treat suite. It's so convenient and coffee is perfection. Can't wait to return.
WaterColor Inn is simply top-notch. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, everything is consistently exceptional. The staff are sincerely kind and welcoming—it never feels forced, just genuine hospitality. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well appointed with everything we needed. The views are beautiful, and being able to see both the sunrise and sunset made the stay even more special. The Treat Suite is incredibly convenient, and having bicycles available to explore the town is a fantastic touch. The location is perfect—close to everything.
Wonderful get away. Beautiful property in a lovely location with everything you could ever want. The room was perfect, comfortable, spacious. The service was impeccable. The private pool was a godsend on a busy week. Close walking and biking to Sea Side. You couldn’t ask for much more. We will be back
We loved our stay at the Watercolor Inn. The location and amenities were perfect and the staff were always friendly and helpful. This place is a true gem on the Emerald Coast! We are already planning our return trip.
Would def come back. Room and staff were awesome and so friendly! Location was great, and the rooms were super comfy. I loved watercolor inn!
This is a great hotel on the beach on 30A! First class experience! The view is amazing and staff is friendly and accommodating.
What a gorgeous property and the most friendly staff. It was an amazing few days. We were on the 4th floor with a beautiful beach view! The room is beautiful & very clean. They have comfy robes & slippers. The "Sweet Suite " is a creative idea with . Coffee, tea & hot chocolate as well as snacks, ice cream & fruit for the taking 24/7. They have 3 heated pools, work out room with nice equipment. I can't wait to go back!
Absolutely loved every aspect of this resort—from the incredible location and beautiful rooms to the exceptional staff. We truly can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this property and will most definitely be back.
I wasn’t aware there was breakfast.
The ice machine
First time staying in Seaside FL and decided to stay at The Watercolor. Loved it. Arrived a few days before Christmas and the hotel was super quiet. Would certainly come back again this time next year. I’m sure it gets very busy in the season. Was high 60’s / 70 degrees at Christmas. Perfect! Hoping to come back in Sept if not again this time next year. Clean, friendly, beautiful hotel and pools. Right on the beach and perfect location to walk up to Seaside and grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very cool spot
One of the best vacations ever. You will not be disappointed. The most beautiful beach in the US. The best coffee shops and towns. The resort was 10/10.
A perfect spot located on the beach with friendly staff and excellent amenities. The view of the gulf from our room is was very relaxing, FOTW was convenient and plenty to do on property, no need to leave.
We always enjoy our time at Watercolor. The staff was great, the room was great, and the beach was great!! We had a short trip to 30A to round out a football weekend and as always Watercolor did not disappoint!
Love, love, love 30A. We don’t visit often in the summer months but boy is this area busy! This resort is in a great location. Easily walkable to Seaside. Rooms were great, but expensive. Fish Out Of Water is always a hit to dine at. Pool service could use some work but I would stay here again.
Outstanding five night stay at Watercolor Inn and Resort. Front desk staff was superb, room was kept spotless throughout and our family dinner at Fidh our of Water was special
The property is amazing and the location is perfect for a Seaside walk. Fish out of water wasn't up to the standards we were expecting however.
Location was perfect. The facilities were clean and plenty of options.
The Fish out of water restaurant was not a good experience. Food was below average and the service was not good.
Wow, what an experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the location. The view of the gulf from our room was incredible. Just steps away to the Beach Club (pool, food and beach access). Walkable to shops, restaurants and to Seaside.
Great experience. Staff is exceptional friendly and hospitable. First visit since remodel and love how it turned out. Room decor is fabulous.
A horrible experience - avoid property at all costs. I had to wait for almost four hours for my room to be ready while at least ten other parties got their rooms right away.
Beautiful spot to get some family beach time in Florida. We loved our stay at Watercolor Inn. Our son loved Camp Watercolor with the lazy river and basketball court. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming especially the entrance/front desk and Camp Watercolor Cantina. Thank you for a fun and relaxing visit.
So beautiful hotel . Close to the beach and all tourist spots. So clean . Was so busy and so many people but still had a good time and memories with this place
This is a great property with much to offer. The beach views are incredible, the hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Lots of options for food and shopping close by so you never need to leave the general area. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
Ended up here due to a vrbo mishap in booking. Stayed on the fourth floor and was beside a family with a screaming baby for two days. The walls were paper thin and you could hear every person who traveled past the front door. Also, our unit was above the Inn’s pool, which had screaming children starting early in the morning. The location was extremely convenient to where we were originally supposed to stay, so that was a plus. In addition, they did have fresh baked treats waiting in our room once I was able to check in at 4:20 – 4:30 PM. other than the location, there is nothing that would make me stay here again for the price.
We had the best time. A friend referred us to this resort. It really was amazing. A great room over looking the ocean! Very roomy - we loved the fresh baked cookies which were amazing every evening. The added amenities such as the Treat Suite and the bikes were the icing on the cake. All the staff were super friendly. I will be coming back and referring others to this resort.
Location and friendly staff
My family of 4 (husband, myself, 3.5 yr old, and 3 month old) wanted to take a trip before maternity leave ended, so chose WaterColor. We'd never been before (though had stayed at Rosemary the past 3 yrs), and had an incredible experience. Our room (the most basic, 2 queens on the 2nd floor) was phenomenal with a great view of the pool and ocean, way better than pictured online. We loved everything about the room and the balcony and house keeping did an incredible job keeping it clean. We found all of the amenities (treat suite with amazing coffee maker in addition to waters, ice cream, etc; beach bag to use; cookies delivered to room; snacks in room upon arrival, etc.) so refreshing. It's so rare to stay at a nice hotel with so many amenities nowadays (usually snacks are displayed with a price tag, which to me is more annoying than anything). The staff were all terrific and tried to accommodate any request we made. We drove down in our electric vehicle and had some difficulties charging it when we arrived after a very long 8hr car ride with two young children... staff helped us charge in a Seaside spot which saved our trip and avoided an expensive tow. Our 2nd floor room was perfectly located - we loved being close to the treat suite and so close to the Fish out of Water restaurant, which we ate at 2x (once while leaving the kids in bed asleep with our baby monitors on). We were a little needy this trip with the two little ones, and the hotel was so nice and accommodating, we really appreciated them and will definitely return when the kids are a little older. The ONLY bummer was that we left a Hatch (white noise machine and night light for kids) in our room and it wasn't ever located. We similarly left a puzzle at the Fish out of Water restaurant and when we returned the next morning, it hadn't been located. Not a huge deal (our fault we left them), but would've been nice to have them located and returned, especially the expensive Hatch. Other tips for families traveling with young children: Camp WaterColor is a short 4 minute drive away and we were able to find parking (I believe it was $25 for the day). We had planned on taking the advertised trolley, but you need a carseat for kids <5 yrs old. It would've been a 20-30 minute walk. Beach Club with 3 pools (2 of the 3 are kid friendly) was close and wonderful and kid friendly (especially the lowest pool), as was the pool at the Inn. 3.5 yr old loved Camp Watercolor as well and we could do the large slide together which was fun. Thank you for making our trip as fun as possible!
Staying here was a definite splurge for me, but I left feeling it was money well spent. Gorgeous rooms, great amenities and a beautiful beach. Just wish the food options were a bit better.
Beautiful pool area and great service
The good: warm, helpful staff; beautiful beach; on-site restaurant was top-notch; higher-end finishes + clean rooms; walkable area; delicious cookies! Randy drew us the sweetest anniversary card and hooked us up with a yummy desert <3 He was never rushed and helped us with everything we needed. The bad: The aggressive biting flies were truly awful - we were fending off attacks from our first evening through our last morning, and it was especially stressful given that our baby is so little. I did some research and found that the EPA specifically recommends 20% picaridin based repellants to deter these biting flies (the brand "Off" has a couple formulations with this ingredient) and fortunately we did find this to be somewhat helpful - but not completely effective unless we re-applied frequently. It would be nice to warn guests of these flies and provide this specific repellant if needed. Our first room was lovely and quiet, but we couldn't enjoy the patio due to the flies. We requested to move to a higher floor, and I wish I had thought to ask for a room on the quieter side of the hotel - I had no idea the pool pumps run all night and morning long. We couldn't fully enjoy the 4th floor room, either, because of the constant mechanical noise. It was admittedly really, really disappointing since our baby is too young to spend much time out at the beach. I ended up turning on ocean sounds on the TV, laugh/cry. I understand the pumps need to run continuously during operating hours, but I hope the hotel will reconsider leaving them on all night long. It would be wonderful to be able to enjoy a beach sunrise and hear the waves instead of the pump. I wish I had thought to ask them to turn it off before our last morning - I bet with enough notice they would have done whatever they could to make it happen. Housekeeping staff were lovely to interact with, but I would have appreciated if they'd spent more (any) time cleaning up lovebug carcasses from the patio, and less time winding up our phone charging cables and re-arranging our personal belongings. In retrospect, we should not have paid $50 per day for the beach chair set ups. For that price I imagined more space and comfier chairs, and we weren't able to use them since we also had our baby with us and she needed more shade than the small umbrellas provided - not to mention the biting flies! We paid $200 to use the chairs for a total of five minutes - not a great ROI.
The staff are exceptional and we love coming to Water Color. One of our very favorite trips, we look forward to it every year.
One of the nicest places we have stayed! Great experience from check in to check out. They have a fantastic staff that does not miss a detail.
Can't beat the location and the incredible staff!! Very clean rooms, top tier service and such an easy stay. You have everything you need, it's so convenient and the beach is perfect.
Drove 8+ hours from FTL to WaterColor Inn with family. Our stay was exceptional! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our every need. Our room was clean and spacious, I also enjoyed the WaterColor Inn beach bag to use throughout my stay! Our kids spent countless hours at Camp WaterColor and they really enjoyed the complimentary treats suite! The food and experience are expensive so that is something to be aware of. It's a resort that truly shines and we can't wait to return!
We were four women staying at Watercolor Inn. This hotel has been on my bucket list for some time and I finally had the chance to visit. The property itself is quite large with the beach club, restaurants, and pools. It was lovely to have access to the 21+ section. We ate at the restaurant on the 2nd floor (Fish Out of Water) and it was pretty good. We ate our other meals in Seaside or Rosemary Beach. The rooms were very spacious. We had two queen beds in each room with lots of space! They give cookies at turn down service and a welcome basket in the room upon arrival. What nice touches!
Staying at the Watercolor Inn was incredible. The attention to detail far surpasses most of my experiences at other resorts. The attention to detail and friendly staff made our visit fantastic. We are already planning to return next year.
We stayed here for a long weekend and loved every second of it. Rooms are super comfortable. Hotel is very clean. Staff is second to none and has the most welcoming attitudes making you feel right at home. Kids loved the treat suite. Cannot wait to go back again.
Great location, incredible service. From the minute we checked in the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect, right on the beach, walkable to Seaside and a short drive to some other fantastic restaurants and attractions.
This is a great option for families. You are close to Seaside and there is a beach and multiple pools immediately accessible. The 2nd floor treat suite is icing on the cake.
The property was beautiful and very well maintained and the staff were wonderful and very friendly. I will be sure to visit the resort next year.
Amazing!!
The staff were excellent, friendly, and very accommodating
This place is truly magical for families. The staff at the front desk, room service, and amenities made our stay unforgettable. It was our first time at the WaterColor Inn, and we can't wait to be back!
This was our first time at Watercolor Inn, and we loved it. Everyone is very nice and friendly. There are lots of activities for a great family time, and the place is easily accessible. We will be back!
Amenities, friendly staff, excellent food
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
A wonderful resort located on the beach with very friendly and patient staff! Lots of different types of pools and great for kids and adults. Nice shopping and great restaurants within the resort and close by! We plan to return in the near future!
First of all, Randy, my guy….He’s been amazing both this time and the last time we came. We really appreciate him. In 2024, Randy talked my wife and friends off a ledge after a hurricane looked like it might hit the week we were staying there. When my wife expressed concern about the weather, he basically responded with “rain, what rain? My report shows sun and clear skies”. This time, he also took the time to show our daughters the “treasure chest” with the “sea babies” that was awesome. Our girls loved it. Olivia, also amazing, she even helped us get stuff set up for our oldest daughter’s birthday, hand-delivered some plates and utensils to our room… she was so kind. Thank you! We appreciate you and the help getting our daughter’s cookie cake all set up :). Sam, at the bar, really great and very personable. She handled a couple of the entitled “guests” with kindness and a smile, even though they didn’t deserve it. Sam, we hope your trip back to Mexico goes well and that you’ll be back next summer. Theo, very kind and attentive, also the second year we’ve had the opportunity to chat with him. Glad Theo is there to help. Brandon and Jared helped us with our arrival, toting around bags, setting up bikes, and our departure. I won’t even say they were great, they were far beyond great. I also appreciated that they seemed like a couple of guys we’d have a beer and watch a game with. They were very professional, but also real with me and didn’t make it feel “stuffy”. All in all, it was an amazing trip, it’s so great that everyone there treats you like family. I know there were several others we interacted with and just didn’t catch everyone’s name. Thank y’all for smiling and being so polite. The entire team is the reason we keep coming back.
Writing this review to let you know how amazing your staff at the front desk was to me on Thursday 7/24/25 around 530pm after Booking.com attempted to ruin my vacation with grandkids. After booking didn't confirm my reservation with Phoenix properties, I had to find other accommodations. I pulled up to your resort and you staff was so helpful and loving. Although they couldn't find accommodations the smiles on there face were perfect.
The lavender mist was very relaxing for the pillows and I loved every minute of it. As soon as I can rob a bank I will be back for a stay
Pleasant, laid back vibe. You can easily walk or bike to many places; but, if you want to venture further it’s an easy drive to many other locations: Watersound, Rosemary, & Alys beaches, as well as shopping in Sandestin. The rooms are comfortable (no desks though for those who still need to do some work, and no business center), bathrooms have nice, big showers with dual shower heads and double sink vanities. The staff we encountered were all fantastic :-) This was our first stay at Watercolor Inn and we would not hesitate to return!
Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice. From check in, to servers, to cleaning people, and valet guys, Everyone made our trip wonderful. It was so nice to experience GOOD service.
My family and I visited Watercolor over the 4th of July holiday. It had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations. The beach is stunning (powder sand, clear water), and the amenities are exceptional. Multiple pools (and waterslides for kids), bikes, kayaks, cute shops & restaurants. We didn’t need to leave the resort for anything. The customer service was 10/10 in every way. We can’t wait to return!
Amazing staff, beautiful location and perfect room.
Great location and welcoming staff. Worth the visit. Good for families making trip to beautiful Seaside Fl. Hope to continue to return.
Wonderful hotel, staff was very friendly and welcoming! It was very easy to valet and check in was a breeze. The staff was very knowledgeable in the area and had great recommendations for us. The rooms are very comfortable and most importantly, the hotel rooms are VERY CLEAN!! The staff was very accommodating.
Staying at the Inn is great because you have your own pool just for Inn guests--all other pools are INSANELY and obnoxiously crowded. So if you are staying on property at a house, not at the Inn, good luck with enjoying the pool. Staying at the Inn, however, was very low key and enjoyable.
Our family of 7 stayed in the beautiful Water Color Inn for 4 nights in May. This is our second trip to Watercolor of many to follow. Last year we had a family gathering of 22 and it was so wonderful that we decided to come again this May. We were greeted by several front desk staff that of course remembered us from our gathering last June. We had 3 Oceanfront rooms that were perfect for us! The kids loved the cookies delivered every night & of course the Treat Suite. The beds, pillows, shower & all of the hooks for hanging items were delightful. We enjoyed all of the pools on site & Camp Watercolor with the Lazy River a huge hit with all of us. Most of our meals were on site @ Gather or Scratch Kitchen. Some days we stayed in our bathing suits from early morning until the lights came on in the pool! This is truly a destination to relax with your family or friends. A huge shout out to Brandon, Jared, Melissa, Mathew, Sam, Katie, Akika, Quinn, and of course Isabella who made our stay extra special. This staff is beyond amazing! We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Santa Rosa Beach area. Thank you again Watercolor friends.
We loved the Watercolor Inn. The view was wonderful and it had lots of amenities. It was also walking distance to Seaside.
Randy and Brandon were very helpful and great customer service!
Loved staying here. The room was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful. What I loved about this resort is that it has all the amenities on site. From beach set up to amazing pools, great restaurant, close to shopping and the town. Complimentary shuttle and snacks and drinks on the floor. The ability to text what was needed to set up reservations or ask questions or help with service while there and prior was very helpful. Highly recommend. Will come back.
Front desk and room service staff is great, always smiling, helpful with information and greets you. On the opposite end is the food and beverage services specially at the hotel pool and the restaurant/ bar on the first floor of the hotel. Following happened to three families in our group during our stay: denied service, did not bring food and drink ordered, extended delay in bringing the ordered food. These happened on different days and on different times of the day so it's not limited to one event and this behavior is consistent with various members of the staff not just one member.
Had a blast at Watercolor Inn and Beach Club with my besties for my 36th birthday weekend! Great staff and they have everything you need! Loved the turn down service, riding our bikes to breakfast that come with the hotel, going down the waterslide and lounging by the pool. Great atmosphere.
