Personal war überdurchschnittlich bemüht und sehr freundlich. Wir wurden sehr gut beraten und haben sehr viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge etc. bekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll aufgebaut, es hat an nichts gefehlt.

La posizione non centralissima, ma comoda per raggiungere la via principale. L’hotel si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla. La colazione molto ricca, forse si potrebbe migliorare nella qualità dei cibi offerti. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Migliorerei la qualità della colazione per un 4 stelle.

In rapporto al prezzo la struttura all'interno risente il peso degli anni...la camera aveva un materasso inadeguato e la colazione più anni '90 che attuali.

Propreté niquel, l’espace piscine est tres agreable avec un beau jardin fleuri autour, le personnel a été super notament à la reception qui nous a beaucoup aidé !

Location fantastica e posizione ottima

Nonostante il soggiorno sia stato breve, abbiamo potuto apprezzare la struttura e i suoi servizi. La piscina è grande e spaziosa, le camere hanno un giardino molto comodo per potersi rilassare nelle ore più calde, l'arredamento è caratteristico, le camere sono pulitissime. La colazione è varia e di qualità offre diverse opzioni tra dolce e salato, forse la scelta di piatti salati è un po' limitata. Il personale è sempre stato cortese, specialmente alla reception e durante la colazione.

Il servizio di pranzo ('light lunch') ha un costo piuttosto elevato. Avrei apprezzato l'informazione sul transfer gratuito verso l'hotel al momento della prenotazione così da programmare meglio gli spostamenti.

La localisation à proximité du centre (5 minutes à pied) mais le calme autour. Très bon niveau de confort sur les équipement. Par contre, un énorme coup de cœur pour l’équipe qui rend le séjour plus qu’agréable. Merci 🙏🏽

Magnifique emplacement et jardin superbe. Le personnel est très gentil et des navettes sont disponibles pour nous amener au port. Piscine jolie, plus petite que sur les photos.

Nous avons été déçus de la chambre, vieillotte, avec vue sur l’arrière ; le petit lit d’appoint convient pour un enfant mais pas un adolescent. Le wifi est lent et le petit déjeuner est moyen. Hôtel trop cher pour les prestations offertes.

Struttura bellissima, curata ed elegante con gusto siciliano. Stanza vista mare circondata da un giardino con piante e fiori profumatissimi.

Kurzer Spaziergang zum Stadtzentrum. Zum Strand etwas umständlich mit Shuttles, gilt aber für quasi alle Hotels in Lipari. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist hervorragend, auch für Ganztagesaufenthalte. Evtl. wichtig für Familien: das Hotel hat eine angenehme Ruhe, Kinder werden am Pool manchmal (auf gute Weise) "beruhigt".

Hôtel très propre idéalement situé. L’Établissement propose une navette gratuite et peut organiser pour nous des visites. Personnel très agréable un grand merci à Juditta pour son extrême gentillesse.

Absolutamente todo. El personal es súper amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Traslado gratuito desde el puerto al hotel (está muy cerca andando pero se agradece cuando vas cargado con maletas). Ubicación muy buena, entorno precioso. Limpieza excelente. Súper cómodo con frigorífico y terraza para tomar el aperitivo. Buena piscina. Ambiente tranquilo y perfecto para pasar unos días de lujo!

The hotel is set on a hillside overlooking Lipari’s old town and the Mediterranean, so the views are simply beautiful. Although it’s slightly elevated, it’s still very convenient. The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there it’s easy to reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele and continue into the lively heart of the town. The walk back uphill is gentle rather than strenuous, and for those who prefer not to walk, the hotel also offers a shuttle service at scheduled times. This isn’t a trendy boutique hotel or a sleek, ultra-modern resort, but it is still charming. It has a timeless style that evokes old-school European vacations. The rooms are spread across several low-rise buildings connected by little paths and alleyways, giving the property the feel of a small Italian village rather than a single hotel complex. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the swimming pool, and despite the hotel being well occupied, it always felt peaceful and uncrowded. The quiet setting made it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the island. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team we interacted with was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask, making everything effortless from check-in to departure. The front desk also arranged all of our island excursions, and every recommendation was excellent. We didn’t need to research or coordinate anything ourselves—they took care of all the details and matched us with exactly the kind of experiences we were looking for. Overall, Hotel Bougainville combines a beautiful location, a relaxing atmosphere, and genuinely outstanding hospitality. It played a big part in making our stay in Lipari so memorable, and we would gladly stay there again.

The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful garden terrace. We had the place almost to ourselves the first few days which felt luxury. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The restaurant food was also wonderful. The pool and other facilities were great. It was very easy to get to town from the hotel and the setting was beautiful and peaceful.

The mattress was on the harder side but not uncomfortable.

Close to main port/town of Lipari - 10 minute walk. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Complementary pick up from ferry was great. Pool was very clean with plenty of lounge chairs. We had a water view room which was spacious and a large balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Staff very friendly and responsive. We had early morning ferry on departure and staff made up takeaway breakfast pack.

A paradise on Lipari, staff, especially Giuditta, she recommended us how to fill our day activities and asked a feedback after them. The breakfast was delicious and the service was impeccable. The swimming pool was great the Lipari central street was reachable from the hotel on foot. The view was gorgeous as well.

Ottima posizione, a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal porto per l'imbarco per le altre isole. La colazione era varia sia con prodotti salati che dolci. Il personale è molto disponibile e collaborativo.

A nice breakfast was served, and we enjoyed the pool area. IT's a short walk to the main area of town so you don't need a car. I went for a long hike one day and enjoyed the many vistas available just out of Lipari.

Beautiful gardens / setting

The Bougainville hotel is a real gem. A beautiful property 10 minutes from the centre with fantastic views over Lipari and the sea. We were there in April and it was quiet, before the season rush. The staff were lovely and so kind, we felt like royalty. Would thoroughly recommend!

La struttura è molto pulita e molto bella. Le maioliche sui pavimenti sono incantevoli. Lo staff è davvero molto disponibile ed accogliente.

Non mi è piaciuto sicuramente il limite delle navette per scendere alla spiaggia. La colazione salata da migliorare.

L’accueil, la chambre très confortable, le petit déjeuner et le restaurant pour dîner, la piscine pour un moment de fraîcheur.

Lovely relaxing hotel. Nice location with views and good breakfast. Only a 10 minute walk down to the waterside then another 10 mins into the beautiful old town. Had our own little outdoor table setting for afternoon drinks or the pool area. Lovely friendly staff.

The staff was exceptional - special mention to Anna at the reception who coordinated really well for our luggage to be picked up fm the ferry dock while we went for our tour to Stromboli and cowthr? At the dinner/ breakfast place - she was competent and pleasant. Place is really picturesque with beautiful balconies/ terraces. Pity we couldn’t use the pool and hot tub

The air conditioning wasn’t working - so that was a bit of a bummer. The access to the hotel has a narrow lane so if driving yourself, you have to be careful at the turns.

Le petit-déjeuner était moyen (choix et qualité des produits). L'air conditionné est un peu bruyant, même en mode aération - il ne peut être complètement arrêté - mais à un niveau supportable

Prévoir 2 tables et des chaises sur la terrasse pour 2 chambres de luxe serait top sinon c’est premier arrivé premier servi ☺️

Materasso un po' duro e poco alto.

Le calme, la piscine avec très peu de personnes, on avait le sentiment de l'avoir privatiser. Le petit déjeuner était parfait. On a même mangé un soir, c'était très bon et pas plus cher que dans le village.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön am Hang oberhalb des ortszentrums in ruhiger Lage. Das ganze Hotel ist mit Liebe zum Detail und viel Geschmack angelegt, die Zimmer geräumig und ausgesprochen schön eingerichtet. Im Hotel gibt es ein Restaurant, in dem man mittags und abends a la carte essen kann. Das Hotelteam war freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

It was an excellent location and very clean. The amenities (pool) were as advertised and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

The beds were a touch hard but still comfortable. Same with the pillows.

Ottima colazione completa di tutto sia dolce che salato. Bellissima piscina con angolo idromassaggio e 2 jacuzzi a disposizione dei clienti ma (a pagamento pero). Buona la posizione a pochi minuti dal centro di Lipari a piedi.

L'accoglienza e la disponibilità del personale

Raramente mi era capitato di trovare un hotel con uno staff giovane, tanto gentile e disponibile. A partire dal servizio navetta gratuito, che ci ha prelevato all'arrivo al porto di Lipari e poi ci ha riportato alla partenza, alla disponibilità a trovare un auto a noleggio solo un'ora dopo il nostro arrivo. La struttura è bella e rispetta lo stile di un hotel di mare, ma il vero valore aggiunto del Bouganville è tutto lo staff che ci lavora e che ti fa sentire coccolato.

La colazione è certamente buona ma non eccezionale, mi sarebbe piaciuto vedere qualche prodotto tipico del cibo siciliano, in particolare i dolci. La stradina veloce che dal porto arriva all'hotel è comoda di giorno ma un po' buia la notte.

L’unica cosa negativa è la posizione…ubicato un po’ defilato rispetto al centro anche se facilmente raggiungibile da una strada pedonale interna ma purtroppo poco illuminata… Non è una cosa grave ma sarebbe buono munirsi anche di una semplice macchina da golf così da fornire un continuo servizio al di là del trasfert classico di cui l’hotel è fornito

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which was conveniently located within walking distance of the main harbour and the town centre. The hotel exudes character and offers comfortable room sizes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool. It was a great place to relax and cool off during the afternoon, especially when we couldn’t make it to one of the local beaches. The hotel also organised a day trip to White Beach, which was a fantastic experience. They provided a bus transfer and a booking with a local boat transfer to get us to the beach.

There’s nothing to fault, but the breakfast could have been better.

Struttura meravigliosa immersa in un verde curatissimo e lussureggiante. Piscina perfetta per godersi momenti di puro relax. Staff splendido e disponibile ad accogliere e risolvere qualsiasi esigenza.

I would not choose this accommodation again – it was not welcoming at all in any sense. I didn’t particularly like the location. The room was reasonable, but the bathroom was very small. Far from both the city center and the beach.
