Fantastic location for events at Wembley stadium. Easy to reach from the M25. Very pretty hotel with a great bar and restaurant, and lovely gardens. Can see why it's popular for weddings.

The rooms, whilst still perfectly comfortable and functional, just looked a little dated.

We thought the room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect to visit central London and easy to get to Heathrow Airport. It was also within walking distance to the Gerrard's Cross Train Station (Chiltern Line), Testco Superstore, Waitrose and M & S Simply Food markets. There were also several restaurants located in town. The location was also an easy driving distance to Beaconsfield and Old Amersham.

We will definitely be staying again But- in a different room or with quieter neighbours above. Unfortunately - our neighbours wore what sounded like army boots and marched constantly back and forth above our heads at 4.30am onwards -keeping us awake (not a good left right, left right either) - we paid for later check out to catch up on our missed ZZZs in the daytime, only for the heavy footed army to march again 😔🥾🥾🪖 - Room 159. No information at all on TV guide for programmes (basic channels)

Set in a beautiful location. The hotel is far enough away that you get peace and tranquility but also easily commutable to London landmarks and places of interest. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. A wonderful place to stay, with exceptional cleanliness and you could see staff taking pride in all areas both internal and external. Definitely brilliant value for money and having the breakfast included was well worth doing. Again, lots of choice, both cold and hot options and constantly replenished for the best quality.

Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable and room quiet with the windows closed (they have ac). Wifi was excellent. It's a high-quality, well-managed hotel. I notice they have European, US and UK power outlets, plus plenty of USB A charging points. Beautiful gardens at the back.

The ac unit was displaying the "service" icon. Might need some attention...?

Honestly I have low hopes for UK hotels in general and this was amazing! Such comfy spacious rooms, friendly staff, cleaners so lovely, everything clean and tidy, bed amazing. Very impressed. Food downstairs also great!

Only improvement would be conditioner in the shower. Otherwise perfect.

The breakfast offered a variety of good food

Breakfast is very dull. Everything is processed and packaged with overcooked Poached eggs. Orange juice is processed, not real juice. Location good for bus from Heathrow and only a short walk into the village.

I have been staying at the Bull since 1972 and visiting for meals and drinks even longer and have seen many changes. I don’t like the new entrance doors which are far too modern for an old coaching inn. The bedrooms are a rabbit warren and you have to walk miles up and down various corridors to get there. No tea and coffee making facilities. My bedroom was extremely hot and couldn’t open the windows more than an inch, no air conditioning. Although to be fair it was hitting 85 degrees outside. There was an electric fan which helped a bit but it wasn’t enough.

Very lovely building, it was summer, Air conditioning was a Bonus.

I stayed in one of the rooms above dance hall, could hear all the music, it was loud.

Bed was very comfortable, the bedroom and breakfast room had air con which was needed for the hot weather we are having at the moment. Other hotel used previously (Ethorpe) nearby did not have this luxury. The staff were also very professional, at breakfast they were quick to pick up any used dishes from our table which prevented it getting overcrowded.

Dog friendly and our room was a great size, quiet location and fabulously large, comfortable bed. Our room had a fridge which is so useful. Super choices at breakfast and the staff were efficient and friendly. Car parking area is very adequate. This is a very well managed hotel.

I can never enjoy opening those little sachets of milk!! I guess all hotels have them but they are awful.

Pretty much everything. Very comfortable, excellent wifi, no problem parking. Staff polite and efficient.

A couple of very small niggles. My room was a long walk from Reception! But it was quiet, so a reasonable compromise. There were signs of age in the bathroom - a bit of rustiness around the grip rail, a few cracked tiles around the bottom of the wall - but cosmetic only.

Breakfast was ok, food was buffet style and was in parts a bit dry - pastries were dry, fruit was also dry, cooked breakfast was passable - bacon was wet and fatty, scrambled eggs a bit tasteless, sausages were nice as were hash browns.

Pillows were hard, reception could have been more positive at check in, room was fine.

The breakfast was absolutely excellent! Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff.

We are not given the exact room that we booked. We were given a room with a full size bed instead of a king and it was not a large deluxe room with a beautiful garden view. Alex the manager was really reluctant to help us out, but he finally gave us only a 10% compensation. The room that we were given was cheaper than the compensation that he gave us.

Bar staff deliberately giving doubles when you ask for singles and giving a bottle mixer rather than the pump mixers so they can charge a lot more for them. Not watching who is next so causing bad feelings. Being rude to guests. Programming the air con to start at 19 which is not cold enough in hot weather.

Clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Room was spacious, air conditioned, very comfortable bed, sofa, fridge and very nice bathroom. Lovely gardens at rear of hotel. Plenty of parking space. Good buffet breakfast.

Liked just about everything. Only ate once in restaurant - it was absolutely fine but nothing special- usual pub type food. Can’t always get through to reception very quickly if phoning to make enquiries prior to stay at hotel.

At the bar some of the staff were not right. When we asked for a single they gave doubles so they could charge more and they automatically gave bottles of mixer instead of from the post mix dispenser again so it costs more. Therefore one drink was averaging 9 pounds. One bar staff member was rude and threw the card machine down in temper when they were told that they would not pay for doubles when he asked for singles. Then she tried to say she would not serve him although he paid the bill. This tainted our stay and we will therefore not return. We were there for a wedding which meant thousands had been spent there with all the rooms and wedding ever etc. so overall a poor customer experience. The room was too warm, air con only starts at 19. In this heat that is not low enough. Eventually got a fan after asking twice.

Solo dopo il check inn e la entrata nella abitazione ho scoperto che le stanze CLASSIC , sono prive di climatizzatore perciò è stato impossibile dormire a causa del caldo ed inoltre , queste stanze sono quelle presenti nella area piu' scadente della struttura molto , molto lontano dalla reception . grosse difficoltà nel arrivarci sopratutto in oresenza di bagagli

Very clean, modern and welcoming. Lovely bar area with conservatory and pretty garden (Although it was too hot to sit outside) Club bedroom was large, immaculate with a lovely bathroom. Aircon was great.

Bar & staff seemed a little rattled in the evening. Had to wait a long time for drinks and food took a good while too. Didn't like the bedding as it was rough to the skin The pillows were hard amd not at all comfortable.

There was a lot of noise in my room until after midnight. I booked a room for a restful night, but my room was next to a party hall with loud music and people talking and laughing loudly right next to my window. I was quite disappointed by this.

Room was a good size but not airconditioned. Very good breakfast and plenty of parking. Easy check in and check out.

We came here as part of a large group, which had booked a block of about 100 or so rooms. The room initially allocated to us did not have aircon and was rather stuffy and very hot. A small Fan which the Hotel provided was noisy and rickety. Luckily, a kind member of our group offered to switch his Aircon room for ours, saying that he was not botherred without Aircon. The room was adequate. The breakfast however was an unmitigated disaster. Evidently the Hotel is not equipped to deal with a large number of guests coming for breakfast at the same time, and so we had to queue 35 Minutes until we reached the breakfast buffet. Having said that, I should point out that the staff were very friendly, from Reception to Bar- and Waiting Staff, all very pleasant, courteous and helpful.

Very much a business/conference hotel but this did not stop them giving me friendly and efficient personal service as a leisure visitor. Evening Meal served in great surroundings looking out directly oover the pleasant gardens. More imaginative menu and wine list than is usual with this sort of hotel and coupled with excellent service.

Shower temperature difficult

We attended a Ladies Evening function here which involved a 3 course meal and overnight stay. The room was very spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The fan found in the wardrobe was such a bonus as I like a cool room to sleep in so this was invaluable and ensured a lovely night’s sleep. The function itself was very well organised. We have attended function’s like this at many different hotels and I can confidently say that the food served at The Bull was, without question, the best any of our group had experienced at an event. Those who went on to have breakfast the following morning agreed that breakfast was also outstanding. The staff deserve huge thanks for all their hard work in ensuring we had a wholly wonderful 24 hours.
