This is a beautiful area, the people are lovely the swimming pool was fantastic. Nearby beaches are wonderful, many short boat trips as long as all day ones, lots of choice of restaurants. Perfect place for a holiday with a nearby lovely town.

There is a very huge hill to climb to get back to the hotel, but that is why it has such great views. A local bus service for evenings would be fantastic. The only other thing was (not at the hotel) but in the area was dog poop, just left and not cleared up.

Our room was excellent, really big and we loved the jacuzzi Bath! Great swimming pool too and it was nice having a free shuttle bus available.

I asked for something special to be done for our anniversary in our room, ie Prosecco or flowers in the room but was just given a price list for items…a complimentary gift would have been nice instead as the room was expensive.

- Bett war wirklich sehr hart und unbequem - alte Klimaanlage die direkt auf das Bett bläst, wenn man sie aber austellt wird es schnell heiss und stickig, wir wurden beide krank deshalb. Fenster öffnen wegen dem Verkehr auch keine Option - Frühstücksbuffet war ok, aber Kaffee nur aus einem Automaten - Parking kostet 15€ pro Nacht (überdeckt und überwacht), man zahlt auch 3€ wenn man das Gepäck bei der Lobby lassen will vor dem Zimmer Check in. Pool Bar überteuert, 4€ für eine Dose Cola Zero.

A estrutura da piscina, a localização e a vista que são privilegiadas, a van que transporta até o centro ou mesmo o ponto de ônibus (gratuito da cidade) e o restaurante La Poltrona que é muito próximo e excelente.

As toalhas eram super finas para um hotel dessa categoria, algumas continham furos. A cortina apresentava rasgos/furos . O secador de cabelo é o ponto alto da péssima experiência (secador de parede que parecia um aspirador de pó, super antigo). Os sucos do café da manhã eram notoriamente industrializados, os próprios cafés / capuccinos que são de máquina são de pessima qualidade.

Il modo di come siamo stati trattati . Già al nostro arrivo in moto la prima cosa che ci ha chiesto Luca il proprietario e’ stata se volevamo metterla all’interno della struttura e poi , visto che noi siamo persone sportive , abbiamo chiesto se a colazione era possibile avere delle uova . Luca si è prestato subito e al mattino successivo le ha fatte trovare pronte . Non sono cose scontate queste . La camera era perfetta e pulita . Consiglio vivamente per chi passa di li , di andare senza neanche pensarci . E poi il ristorante TOP !

Très décevant pour un établissement qui se veut 4 étoiles. La qualité du restaurant n’est vraiment pas à la hauteur : carbonara sans goût, très peu de lardons, fort arrière-goût d’œuf et fromage sans saveur. Le tiramisu, pourtant maison, était également décevant pour 10 €. Au petit-déjeuner, les œufs brouillés sont secs et l’offre salée très limitée et peu qualitative. Seul point positif : les nombreuses pâtisseries et gâteaux, qui sont bons. Le service est également très décevant, notamment l’attitude du responsable qui nous accueille au restaurant. À chaque fois qu’il a voulu nous placer au petit-déjeuner, nous étions seulement cinq personnes dans la salle, avec énormément de tables libres, donc nous ne comprenons absolument pas pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas choisir nous-mêmes où nous installer. Le premier matin, nous avons pu nous asseoir librement. Dès le deuxième matin, il nous a arrêtés à l’entrée pour nous placer, puis le troisième jour, après nous être installés nous-mêmes, il est venu nous faire remarquer à notre table que nous aurions dû attendre qu’on nous place. Depuis quand doit-on attendre qu’on nous désigne une table pour prendre son petit-déjeuner dans un hôtel 4 étoiles ? On se serait cru en colonie de vacances. Une attitude particulièrement désagréable et peu accueillante. Le soir, nous avons également attendu très longtemps après notre plat pour pouvoir commander un dessert, alors que le personnel circulait sans réellement s’occuper de nous. Enfin, l’insonorisation est très mauvaise , nous entendions les voisins, notamment jusque dans leur salle de bain, ainsi que tous les bruits du couloir. Difficile de passer de bonnes nuits dans ces conditions. Une expérience globalement très décevante au regard du standing et du prix de l’établissement.

The view was insane - we weren’t expecting a sea view and we were blown away by the view! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! The pool was fantastic and a welcome break from beach hopping - all the staff were great, the shuttle was helpful and the parking gave peace of mind.

Be aware the hotel is high up so whilst it’s only a km, it’s all up hill when walking back which you’ll have to do at night as both the town and hotel shuttles stop early in the evening. The parking was also €15/night and a very tight fit.

Bed was so comfortable. Loved the pool area. The pool was huge and plenty of really good quality sun loungers. The pool bar was very reasonable and had a good menu. Breakfast was very good as well. There is also parking available. It’s not too far from the sea, a 15 minute leisurely walk or you can take advantage of the free shuttle which we did on the way back to the hotel. A special mention to all the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful

De locatie van het hotel is perfect. Het ligt dicht bij verschillende prachtige stranden, de haven en het gezellige centrum. Mocht je de benenwagen niet willen gebruiken, dan brengt de shuttlebus je er ook gemakkelijk naartoe. In het stadje kun je leuke boottochten boeken, maar ik raad vooral aan om zelf een bootje te huren. Zo kun je een hele dag genieten van het water en de prachtige baaien en stranden in de omgeving. Ook het avondeten in het hotel is fantastisch. We hebben hier echt ontzettend lekker gegeten. Elke avond was weer een feestje. Een andere aanrader is een bezoek aan de Gorropu-kloof met een gids. Dankzij de gids mag je een kortere route rijden die niet toegankelijk is voor individuele bezoekers. Dat scheelt al snel een paar uur tijd, wat vooral in de hitte van augustus een groot voordeel is. Bovendien is de gids rond lunchtijd klaar, waarna je samen kunt lunchen en hij je weer terugbrengt naar het hotel.

Wat iets minder was, is dat het in onze badkamer behoorlijk benauwd werd. Gelukkig was de kamer zelf wel voorzien van goede airconditioningHeerlijk hotel met geweldig eten en een perfecte ligging. Daarnaast vonden we de parkeerkosten aan de hoge kant, zeker omdat hiervoor een relatief hoog bedrag per dag wordt gerekend.

Super, bel rétablissement, bien situé avec une superbe de vue. Piscine pour relaxer avec personnel, courtois au bar de la piscine. Restaurant à même l’hôtel il est possible de manger autant sur la terrasse qu’à l’intérieur. Les chambres sont de grandeurs raisonnables et belle grande salle de bain. Coffre fort inclus.

Un soir, au souper, le service était un peu lent.

Camera vista mare spettacolare. Ottima colazione. Abbiamo deciso di fare il tour in barca direttamente con loro ed è stata la migliore scelta che potessimo fare, giornata spettacolare organizzata perfettamente. Molto utile la navetta per spostamenti verso il centro.

The hotel is selling rooms it doesn't have. first the receptionist couldn't find my reservation - as if they hadn't noticed that it had been made. I booked a sea view room for 328 euros for two days. I brought my dog ​​because the hotel allows dogs. Upon arrival, I discovered I didn't have the room I booked and was offered a very poor room, which was left because mine was no longer available. The hotel doesn't have parking, because even if you book, there may be no spaces. The sea view also overlooks a gas station. The service was very unprofessional and rude. I spent time at the reception desk only to find out my room wasn't available. Not worth the price and a 4-star rating.

Zwembad heerlijk en kamer was prima. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed! Goede locatie met pendelbusje wat na het eten niet meer terug gaat. Gelukkig hadden wij auto en wisten we waar we konden parkeren.

Voor veel moet je bijbetalen (bv handdoeken aan het zwembad of parkeerplaats voor je huurauto) en we hadden een excursie waarbij we 10 minuten voor het ontbijt al weg moesten. We konden een pakketje krijgen, maar voor 15 euro p.p. en pas om half 8. We vonden het erg jammer dat er niet even iets geregeld kon worden en vervolgens moest er ook direct meer betaald voor worden terwijl we ontbijt incl hadden.

We had a great stay at Hotel Brancamaria. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast offered a good variety and was a pleasant way to start the day. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. While the room felt a little outdated in terms of décor, it was clean and functional. The hotel also offers private parking, which was convenient.

The main downside is the location. Although it’s only about a 15-minute downhill walk to Cala Gonone town centre and the port, the walk back uphill can be quite tiring, especially after dinner or a long day out. The hotel provides a shuttle service, which is appreciated, but the operating hours could be improved. The first shuttle is at 9:00 am, which is too late if you have an early boat tour departing around 8:00 am. Similarly, the last shuttle is at 7:00 pm, meaning that if you go into town for dinner and don’t want to drive, you’ll need to walk back uphill. Another point worth mentioning is that several services come with additional charges. Parking costs €15 per day, which is understandable, but there are also fees for things like beach towel rental (€3 for the stay) and luggage storage (€3), which can make the stay feel a bit less inclusive.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Hotel Brancamaria! From the moment we arrived, the reception team was amazing and made us feel so welcome. We booked most of our activities directly through the hotel and I highly recommend doing so. A massive shoutout to our skipper, Luka, who took us on an incredible boat tour. He made sure everything was super safe while keeping it incredibly fun, taking us only to the best, most beautiful secluded spots! Also, a special mention to our driver, Mario. He was genuinely the friendliest person we’ve met (apart from the amazing hotel staff, of course!). We absolutely love Mario! If you are visiting Sardinia, definitely stay here. We had the best time!

One small thing that could be improved is the shuttle bus timing to town. I wish it ran a bit later maybe until 9 PM so guests could easily get a shuttle back to the hotel after having dinner in town otherwise it's a 15-20 min trek back to the hotel with a full belly :)

Als Wiederholer können wir nur sagen, alles topp und unverändert wie im letzten Jahr. Service, Frühstück, die Qualität der Speisen, der tolle Pool, die hauseigene Bootstour zu den schönen Stränden am Golf von Orosei, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren wieder mal hellauf begeistert. Lieben Dank an Salvatore aus dem Service und an unseren Bootsguide Luca. Ihr macht einen tollen Job.

Breakfast was poor a bit, we used to come for breakfast in a different time and plates were half of full empty. Shower cabin in our bathroom was super small and water is not enough warm.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Branca Maria in Cala Gonone und können dieses Hotel von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich liebevolle, herzliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Man spürt hier echte sardische Gastfreundschaft. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich, aufmerksam und haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlgefühlt haben. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und völlig ausreichend, um gut in den Tag zu starten. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend: Von hier aus lassen sich viele wunderschöne Orte Sardiniens entdecken. Ob Ausflüge ins beeindruckende Supramonte-Gebirge, Touren entlang des Golfs von Orosei oder auch weiter entfernte Ziele – alles ist sehr gut erreichbar. Was uns jedoch am meisten in Erinnerung bleiben wird, ist die Herzlichkeit dieses Hauses. Diese besondere Atmosphäre hat unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht und wir nehmen viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – volle Punktzahl und eine klare Empfehlung!

Hotel bardzo zadbany. Styl trochę „stary” ale ma to swój klimat , było czysto a to najważniejsze. Śniadania bardzo smaczne, świeże i duży wybór. Fajny taras do zjedzenia na zewnątrz, obsługa hotelu bardzo przyjazna. Basen w oddzielnej części też super położony. My byliśmy tylko na jedną noc przejazdem, ale wrażenia bardzo dobre

In realtà noi siamo arrivati alla sera e ripartiti la mattina dopo, e quindi non abbiamo fatto in tempo ad usare la piscina, che però è molto grande e bella. Sotto ci sono i parcheggi coperti, comodi anche se a pagamento. Molto grande la camera e soprattutto spaziale il bagno. L'unica pecca è la doccia piccola e vecchietta, ci starebbe benissimo una doccia rettangolare con tutto lo spazio che c'è a fianco.

Non sono pienamente soddisfatto dell'addetta alla reception. Non so se era tedesca ma si capiva molto male. Tra l'altro ha detto a mia moglie che avevamo ricevuto un upgrade, ed invece la camera era quella con vista montagna che avevo ordinato e pagato. Anche al checkout ci ha messa una vita. Infine la colazione: molta scelta ma assolutamente nulla del territorio, e con i formaggi che hanno in Sardegna dare le fettine del supermercato magari anche no.

Das Hotel hatte zu unserer Überraschung eine sehr große Gruppe junger Leute aus einer Ferienfreizeit / Studienfreizeit einquartiert. Es war auf den Fluren der Zimmer bis in die Nacht laut. Alle Lounge-Bereiche waren abendlich durch die Gruppe besetzt, dort wurden dann lautstark Filme gestreamt. Die Frühstückskapazität des Hotels war für die Größe der Ferienfreizeit-Gruppe zusätzlich zu den weiteren Gästen nicht ausreichend, so dass es immer wieder zu Engpässen bei den Speisen kam. Der Aufenthalt war damit aus unserer Sicht den bezahlten Preis nicht wert und wurde dem beworbenen Anspruch nicht gerecht.
