Super Hotel, bon buffet et le personnel est trés gentil !

Unsere Flitterwochen im Hotel Le Duc de Praslin waren traumhaft! Das Personal ist herzlich, zuvorkommend und humorvoll. Ein besonderer Dank gilt De Silva und Dinesh für den hervorragenden Service beim Frühstück und Abendessen. Sowohl das Frühstücks- als auch das Abendbuffet waren köstlich und abwechslungsreich – dafür ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Küchenteam! Herzlichen Dank auch an Chanaka, der stets für ein sauberes und ordentliches Zimmer gesorgt hat, sowie an Nyssa an der Rezeption, die uns bei der Organisation unserer Aktivitäten bestens unterstützt hat. Der Hotelbesitzer, Mr. Robert Payet, ist immer wieder persönlich vor Ort und ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit, kommunikativ und herzlich. Natürlich möchten wir uns auch beim gesamten restlichen Team bedanken! Das Le Duc de Praslin ist wirklich ein ganz besonderer, moderner und bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll gestalteter Ort, den wir von Herzen weiterempfehlen können.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Duc de Praslin and truly enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. One of the highlights of our visit was the monthly beach party organized by the resort. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience the local culture, meet and mingle with local people, and enjoy a great evening with good music and positive vibes. It made our stay even more memorable. A very special thank you to Hilda Uranie, the Guest Relations Manager, for all her care, kindness, and efforts to ensure we had an excellent experience. We also appreciated the friendliness of the entire team, with a special mention to Danish, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, and the fresh orange juice was simply the best we have ever had—we couldn’t find anything comparable anywhere else during our trip! The beach was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Thank you to everyone at Le Duc de Praslin for making our holiday so enjoyable. We would be delighted to return in the future

Ogni dettaglio è curato con grande attenzione, il cibo è eccellente e tutto lo staff riesce a farti sentire accolto con naturalezza, quasi come a casa. Un soggiorno che porteremo con noi e che ricorderemo con grande piacere.

The location is splendid — very quiet, with a lovely open-air setting for breakfast. The room was very nice and clean, and the beach was beautiful with its white sand. The staff were wonderful and showed great hospitality. Special thanks to Gabriela and Dilshan; you were so kind, as were all the other staff members. I also really appreciated the daily follow-up messages from the owner, Robert, to make sure everything was going well. Overall, the whole stay was great.

Właściciel Hotelu Robert to przemiły, opiekuńczy, zainteresowany swoimi gośćmi człowiek, który zatrudnia fantastyczny personel, uczynny i dbający o miłą atmosferę. Pięknie położone pokoje, nowoczesne, czyste i zadbane. Hotel kameralny, otoczony cudnym ogrodem. Przepyszne śniadania i kolacje. Cudna plaża, czysta i dobrze zagospodarowana, leżaki, pufy, bar. Ogólnie wspaniałe miejsce na wypoczynek, jak dla mnie najlepsze na Praslin :) w takie miejsca chce się wracać:)

Hotel meraviglioso. Struttura molto curata. Grande attenzione ai dettagli. Personale molto efficiente e cordiale. Il proprietario cura personalmente l’accoglienza degli ospiti e si assicura che la loro esperienza sia indimenticabile. Abbiamo potuto usufruire della villa 360, un vero gioiello sia dal punto di vista del design che del comfort. La villa è curata da due maggiordomi estremamente gentili e disponibili, pronti per ogni esigenza.

Nulla di negativo se non che il tratto di strada che separa l’hotel dalle ville è un po’ stretto, senza protezioni laterali. Si tratta di pochi minuti in auto (fornita dall’hotel), ma inevitabile.

Beauté de l'hôtel: Il est très beau, le jardin est magnifique, c'est un vrai plaisir de s'y promener ! 2 piscines Confort/ literie: Top ! Propreté: Tout était très propre ! Accueil/ Staff: Le personnel était très accueillant mais surtout l'équipe de cuisine ! Merci à George au Dauphin et à Stéphanie du Café des Arts ! Mention spéciale à Robert pour ses attentions ! Nourriture/ Petit-déjeuner: Très qualitative, excellente ! Merci aux chefs pour tous ces choix et toutes ces saveurs locales créoles (fruit à pain, patate douce incroyablement bonne). Tout était vraiment délicieux: des croissants aux plats en général en passant par la cuisine du restaurant de plage ! Environnement/ Commerces: Le village est très calme et il y a quelques commerces et restaurants. Salle de sport: Très bien ! Animations en soirée: L'équipe fait vraiment en sorte que vous puissiez passer du bon temps (soirées DJ organisées etc) Activités extérieures/ Commerces: Plage de l'hôtel: Exceptionnelle et très grande ! On ne l'oubliera pas de si tôt ! Les algues gâchent un peu parfois quand c'est la période mais il faut simplement que l'hôtel la nettoie tous les 2 jours.

Everything. Honestly, everything. But the person who deserves the best mention is Robert. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable stay, a beautiful room, spoiled at dinner with endless choices, delicious food, warm energy and kindness all around. The rooms are very clean, comfy, very high end, access to beach is amazing, and Robert creates a very homely vibe. We loved our stay here.

Absolutely nothing.

Remek szálloda, gyönyörű, gondozott kertben. Szép és tágas szobánk volt. A hotelnek csodás saját tengerpartja van, nincs tengeri moszat, nagyon jól lehet fürödni az azúrkék vízben. A parton kényelmes nyugágyak, vannak és árnyék is van. Nagyon kedves, figyelmes mindenki a szállodában.. Minden nap beszélgettünk Roberttel, a szálloda tulajdonosával. Hilda és Hillary is nagyon segítőkészek , kedvesek voltak mindig. A pincérek az étteremben szintén nagyon kedvesek és barátságosak a vendégekkel. A reggeli és a vacsora nagyon jó volt, óriási a választék, nagyon igényesen elkészített, finom ételek.

A természet közelsége miatt sok madár van a szálloda kertjében, ami nagyon jó, de meg kellene oldani azok távoltartását az étteremtől.

Driving up the hill to the villa is very hard and potentially very dangerous for inexperienced drivers and international drivers who might not be used to steep hill driving. Hotel should provide and option to not have to drive and get pickup / dropoff on requested times.

Le Duc de Praslin is definitely a lovely place to stay. The owner, Mr Payet, is a very kind person: we stayed at a neighbouring resort and we did not know how to reach his property. He offered to come pick us up for free, which we really appreciated. His vision is clearly visible and recognizable in every part of the resort. He is very present around the facilities and enjoys talking to customers while sharing a drink at the bar. Le Duc is probably the most comprehensive resort on the island: it is thought and designed in the style of European resorts, offering several services to its customers (e.g.: a gym, a spa, more than one restaurant and bar) and with direct access to the beach. Sea-beds are available for free but better arrive early to secure the place. Our family room was super big and well decorated, the kids loved the space and the giant TV screen with lots of channels available. Breakfast and food in general was good, the choice was rather ample and every evening there was a decent turnover in terms of dishes on offer.

Apart from leaving, a very few things: we would have liked more attention to the kids (no beach toys were available to them, for example). It is probably a managerial choice to attract couples rather than families with small children. Bar staff was slow to react and in general bar services could be improved, in our opinion. The bathroom (which was super big) was in kind of different style relative to the rest of the room, it looked not renovated and a bit worn out. I would have loved the place to be less glittering and more nestled within the local culture.

Stunning Beach and Service

Robert und seine Frau ( Owner) sind fabelhafte Gastgeber. Jederzeit präsent und um das Wohl der Gäste vorzüglich bemüht. Die Lage ist grandios mit traumhaften Strand Das Essen abwechslungsreich, sehr fein und ausgewogen. Für Alle ist etwas dabei. Die Zimmer sind sehr geosszügig und sehr sauber. Das Le Duc ist ein Paradies und gerne gehen wir wieder zurück an diesen Ort. Jeder Wunsch wird von den Lippen abgelesen. Lieber Robert und Crew besten Dank.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! For the second part of our trip, we were looking for something more authentic and local, and this hotel was exactly what we had hoped for. It has a genuine local atmosphere and charm that made us feel truly connected to the destination. Our room was very spacious and offered a lovely view over the hotel's beautiful tropical garden. The property itself is peaceful, full of character, and incredibly relaxing. The evening buffet was excellent, with an exceptional variety of dishes every night. A very special thank you to Robert, the owner. His dedication to the hotel is remarkable, and what impressed us most was how accessible and genuinely caring he was. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well and always made himself available if we needed anything. His passion and personal touch make a real difference. We would also like to thank Hilda at the reception, who was incredibly kind, gentle, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention as well to Ranjith at the bar, who quickly became our favorite bartender thanks to his great energy, friendliness, and fantastic service. And thank you to Stephanie at Café des Arts for her warm hospitality and kindness. The beach is beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully quiet—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning surroundings. A special mention also goes to Café des Arts, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious food and amazing cocktails right in front of the beach, with a beautiful setting and atmosphere. Overall, we loved the hotel's local vibe, authenticity, and warm hospitality. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine Seychellois experience in a beautiful beachfront setting.

Séjour excellent dans cet hôtel, très bien situé sur une plage de sable blanc très calme. Le buffet est excellent et varié. Un grand merci à Robert pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et ses précieux conseils qui ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Merci également à Dinesh pour le restaurant, toujours souriant et très agréable. Bravo à Chanaka pour ses sculptures de serviettes, un vrai régal chaque matin ! Not much to do in the area and surrounding after dark

Our stay at Le Duc de Praslin was honestly exceptional from start to finish. The service throughout the stay was outstanding, and the team truly went above and beyond to make the experience special for us. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly located near Côte d’Or beach, with a very relaxed and authentic Seychelles atmosphere. The half-board option was excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Robert and Hilda, who really outdid themselves with their hospitality and attention to detail. One of the highlights of our stay was a special dinner they arranged for us on the beach — such a thoughtful touch and a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Praslin. We would gladly return again.

We stayed in Villa 180 and had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect: the view, the staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere. The villa offers stunning views, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Having a car made it easy to explore Praslin Island, and we enjoyed driving around and discovering different beaches and attractions every day.

Nothing significant. We knew before booking that Villa 180 is located high on the hill and requires driving up a steep, narrow road. The hotel provided a car, which was very helpful. However, drivers should be aware that the road can feel narrow in some sections, so a bit of driving confidence and experience is recommended. As long as you know this in advance, it should not be a problem.

Read the reviews before booking and was wondering what they are talking so much about the personalized experience. Trust me, one should experience it. Fantastic experience right from the time we arrived. The owner Robert is there everyday and he knows every single detail to make your experience unforgettable. He is amazing and the manager Hilda is awesome. Gabriella at the restaurant will make you feel at home, she is simply great. Chef Mahesh and the service guy Dinesh and Siti at the SPA will work towards enhancing your experience every moment! Would definitely come again!

The only difficulty I had was climbing up 3 floors to the SPA but it’s worth it!

W przypadku hoteli tej klasy, usługa jest zwykle wysokiej jakości, zatem szuka się czegoś "ekstra", co może wyróżnić dane miejsce spośród wielu innych. W przypadku Le Duc, jest to z pewnością uczynność i gościnność personelu. Od samego początku czujesz, że jesteś mile widzianym i oczekiwanym gościem. Konkretny przykład - przyjechaliśmy przed południem i musieliśmy oczywiście poczekać na przygotowanie pokoju, natomiast zostaliśmy przywitani przez właściciela i od razu zaproszeni na śniadanie. Wszystkie osoby, które dbały o nasz pobyt były uprzejme i uśmiechnięte, co buduje naprawdę pozytywny nastrój i chęć, aby pozostać w tym miejscu na dłużej. To naprawdę doskonale uzupełnienie oferty hotelu - bliskości plaży, doskonałej restauracji, baru na plaży, pięknego ogrodu.

Aby być uczciwym, w pokoju były drobne niedogodności - np. głośno działający wentylator. Ale to drobiazgi w kontekście ogólnego doświaczenia. Warto też wspomnieć, że faktycznie w hotelu odbywają się raz-dwa razy w tygodniu wieczorne imprezy z DJ-em. Nie jest to niedogodność sama w sobie - niemniej jeżeli szukasz zupełnej ciszy i spokoju, warto mieć to na uwadze.

The resort is Fantastic, the food really good, the sea wonderful, the Staff was amazing. The owner of the resort Mr. Robert is the best. He really care about his client. They made for us the early check in and the check out at 2pm. The night before to leave the gave to us also the beautiful gift (Painted pictures of Seychelles) We will back here 100%

There are some minor issues with the internet, but I’m sure the team will take this feedback into account, and when we definitely return next time, this problem will be resolved.

La gentillesse du personnel

La chambre est très vide, on a eu une chambre familiale au lieu d’une chambre standard,la salle de bain est trop fermé les mitigeurs de la salle de bain sont de différentes tailles, la poubelle de la salle de bain il y a encore l’étiquette dessus, la salle de bain pas moderne, le miroir pliant est très moche dans la chambre. Le lit parental est dégelasse. Le lit en haut est salle et pareil dans la salle de bain. L’hôtel est petit. Pas de vue sur la mer depuis la chambre . Pour moi ce n’est pas un hôtel 4 étoiles. Les transats sont tachés et plein moisissures autour des piscine et pareil pour la plage. Horrible. Je ne conseille pas cette Hotel. Pour moi c’est un centre de loisirs pas un hôtel encore une fois. Salle de sport salle aussi. L’hôtel est trop ouvert pas clôturer même si il y a du personnel de sécurité. J’ai encore d’autres photos. Je déconseille cette hôtel.

- Reception is a little transactional not to the level of service you expect from 5* hotel - There was ALOT of noise on multiple nights we were at the property because of the beach party they organise. This is really not acceptable given the price we pay to be here in particular on Saturday its very hard to sleep until 1am! - The decor and interior design is a little all over the place and lacks some elegance. - The same music tracks are played in the restaurant everyday! - No elevator for top floors - They come to change your towels each evening and knock and random times which js annoying when your trying to relax. - Squeaky bed

Sehr zuvorkommendes und immer überaus freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Essen, sowohl was Auswahl als auch Qualität und Präsentation betrifft. Sehr schönes Gym und Spa.

Die Pools sind etwas zu klein und zum Schwimmen nur eingeschränkt benutzbar. Der öffentliche Weg (für Autos nutzbar) führt durch die Hotelanlage. Etwas verbaut, verursacht durch Erweiterungen. Die Bühne für Veranstaltungen nahe am Meer: dieser tolle Platz könnte für andere Dinge, z. B. Infinity Pool sinnvoller genutzt werden.

The property and rooms are absolutely beautiful! Gabriella in the buffet restaurant was absolutely the best! There were also a couple of wonderful staff in the restaurant as well! Gabriella we love you and Thankyou for always being so kind and helpful! ❤️

Buffet food as to be expected it’s a buffet, good variety and you will find something!! There was one staff member that was at the bar and also down at the beach restaurant that was unfriendly from day one and we like to joke around and have a good time as I was traveling with a friend and he was a hard no for me!! We are very friendly people and love to chat and get to know staff and all the people around us but it was just an uncomfortable vibe there! It’s marketed as fun, upbeat and lively and it was so the opposite! I’m a very social person and travel a lot and for the money they are charging it’s all because the room and grounds are nice that’s absolutely it, no vibe at all!! They charge for coffee in the room after you use once which blows my mind!!! I love to have a couple cups in the morning in the veranda, ended up just going and buying coffee pods at the market! When you pay as much money as you do here I expect nothing less and this I will cross off my list for recommendations for sure! When a guest comes and asks for ice in their cup and it’s a whole issue, that’s a problem for me! I am the easiest person and I was just floored! Once again if you just want a beautiful room and beautiful grounds and want to have no interaction with absolutely no one this is the place for you! I was very disappointed in Le Duc, I had such high hopes for this place as I did sooooo much research and started planning this trip 1yr before travel so I put in the time and effort into finding the perfect place! Also was on La digue before praslin and absolutely had the most wonderful experience so when I arrived here and had that experience I was so sad! I also love to create content when I travel and I do it because I love it and not to make money, but I absolutely would not do it for a place I wouldn’t recommend!

La musique durant le week-end, trop forte et choix musical (house) non adapté.

Store rom, gøy med dyr for barna og hoteller ligger like ved en nydelig stand! Gymmen var veldig bra og det var stemningsfult med live musikk til middagen.

Litt for dyrt sammenlignet med kvaliteten - sett i forhold til det vi betalte andre steder på Seychellene. Servicen på hotellet var heller ikke veldig responsive. Blinkende julelys ødela etter vår mening stemningen på kvelden (i februar).

Villa 270 was exceptional in terms of comfort and location with a stunning view over the bay. Food at breakfast and evening meal was good quality with choice for different tastes

It was a 5 minute drive from main hotel property which is ok during the day but in the evening someone has to be able to drive back to the villa (or a long walk uphill).

I was amazed by the incredible and supportive staff. Everyone was very polite and went above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable. Also the gym and spa are a 10/10. In total I would give a 9.5.

Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement, l’établissement est très beau. Nous avons bénéficié de la chambre honeymoon. C’est de loin notre meilleur souvenir de notre voyage de noces à Praslin. Les repas sont très bons et complets. Le personnel est à votre service, les massages sont à faire pendant votre séjour. Le café des arts, la plage à 2 minutes à pied, l’accessibilité à des activités est simple, on ne peut pas s’ennuyer adultes/ados/enfants. Un grand merci à Hilda et Robert (le propriétaire) d’avoir rendu notre séjour exceptionnel. Nous nous souviendrons de ce voyage et espérons revenir. Je recommande cet établissement à 100%.

Ottima posizione! La nostra camera (ocean) era collocata nella struttura nuova, molto accogliente e pulita e vicina alla magnifica spiaggia. Ottimo anche il cibo a buffet con vasta scelta, non mancava mai tanta fresca buona frutta e verdura. Ogni giorno in camera si aveva a disposizione cialda caffè, frutta e una bottiglietta d’acqua. Curatissimo il giardino esterno e personale molto gentile.

Un po di sensazione di umido in stanza per il climatizzatore

Très bel hôtel. La chambre sur Jardin était très confortable, très spacieuse, la salle de bain magnifique avec baignoire et douche, très grande douche, tous les produits d'accueil, corbeille de fruits, bouteille d'eau, café à disposition. Les équipements notamment la salle de sport sont impeccable. Très appréciables d'avoir une piscine réservée aux adultes Le café des arts: Bar et restaurant de plage sont au top, on y mange très bien Le personnel est toujours souriant La plage est magnifique nettoyée quand il y a des algues Le buffet que ce soit petit déjeuner ou dîner sont variés (nous y avons passé quatre nuits)

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel — truly something I have never experienced before. It’s a beautiful family-owned resort where you can feel the incredible attention to detail in absolutely everything. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. A special highlight was the desserts — which are rarely excellent in hotels, but here they were simply fabulous. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel welcome. One of the most unforgettable moments was when I went fishing and caught a big mahi-mahi. The chef then personally prepared it for us, and we enjoyed it fresh for lunch — an absolutely unique and wonderful experience. The rooms were fantastic, the pools were beautiful, and what made the stay even more special was the owner himself, who came every evening during dinner to greet guests and have personal conversations. This level of care and hospitality is something very rare. This hotel is truly 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back.

Einziges was zu bemängelnden war ist das der Pool Mosaik Splitter hat und keine rutschenden Fliesen. Ich und mein Sohn sind gestürzt

Struttura curata immersa nel verde, posizione bellissima e personale molto attento, cordiale e gentile. Cibo variegato e di qualità soddisfacente anche per un palato italiano. Camere ampie, moderne e pulite con comodi, ampi ed attrezzati balconi.

Unico neo la mancanza di una porta a dividere il bagno dal resto della stanza. Solo il water e posizionato in un loculo chiuso da una porta a vetri che non garantisce alcuna privacy

Everything was great during our stay. The room was very bright, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. The only small improvement could be having a few more waiters in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner, as it sometimes felt a bit busy. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would happily return.
