Very welcoming at reception, clean, great room, food was excellent
Nothing. All good
Food was excellent very clean and loved the swimming pool area and a great bar Friendly helpful staff
Maybe slightly better quality wine
Just to start, we have been here the last week of the season so fully expected services to be scaled back. But a very mixed review here. Staff - majority of staff have been really friendly and helpful. We appreciate they work really hard for the last 6 months and probably exhausted! But they've done well to power through and keep smiling. Rooms/housekeeping-. The matresses on the sofa beds were very thin and uncomfortable. The main beds were a little hard but more comfortable than sofa beds! Rooms were clean, housekeeping staff have been brilliant. Work really hard, always on the go. Pool/grounds - the pool area was kept tidy. The sunlougers are in need of a good clean and disinfect! But again, with it being the end of season, completely understand the cleaning happens when no ones there. There was always groundsmen gardening which was nice to see as the grounds are lovely. Location- A few minutes walk to the beach, a minimarket behind the hotel, and locals bars, shops and restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Food.. ..well! Major dissapointment here. Again, completely understand the end of the season so they're getting rid of everything in the kitchen. Breakfast was the best of the meals, marginally. But so much was cold. Luckily there's a microwave in the corner of the restaurant- a low point was having to reheat chips and rice! Which obviously brings with it food safety concerns. They had a 'pizza and pasta bar' which had been put out long before the restaurant opened so was dried out/crispy. So your left hunting through for edible pieces. Spaghetti was more like crispy noodles! Food took a long time to be replenished. Pizza was left out that long it was very dry (and of course, cold!) One one of my children is a picky eater and usually survives on pasta and chips but she struggled with cold chips and crispy pasta! I wouldn't say the choice was 4 star worthy. Warm food usually offered 2 meat options 2 fish options, 2 veggie options and chips and rice most days alongside salads, bread, soup, pasta/pizza, fruit and desserts. Desserts were nice but repetitive. And some joghurt/cream based desserts (Panna cotta, etc) had a foul taste. There was also a lack of staff on the restaurant floor cleaning up the spillages and food mess around the serving areas and checking the quality and quantity of the food. Just to add, we dined at different times to see if there was a change in the service but there wasnt. A lot of the food was out on display long before the restaurant opened, drying out and going cold - you could see this through the doors when using the toilets nearby before it was opened. The snack bar offered chips, burgers, hotdogs, a few pastries and fruit choices but become the go to after visiting the main restaurant in the afternoon as we couldn't usually manage to piece together a full meal in the restaurant l. And the food in there, albeit limited, was generally warm. Although we did have an occasion of nearly eating a raw burger from there, be careful! We did find everyone we spoke to had the same opinion, so it wasn't just us being a fussy family! The highlight of our dining during this stay was eating out. I don't know what this is like during high season as we queued for meals even with very few people in the restaurant. And theres no other areas for food stations to be set up. We had realistic expectations of out of season all inclusive as we have done them many times before. But we were definitely robbed with what we paid for this so called 4 star. And we will be taking it up with our tour operator.
i went to karaoke and carlitos was a amazing waiter and a amazing staff always helping out on time being kind always down to help anyone and everyone best person in this hotel 100%💕
Globales Mediterrani you were amazing! My partner and I stayed for a week and have decided we would happily come back! The hotel has a lovely scenic drive from the airport, where you get to see some beautiful views of Menorca. We were already impressed by the hotel from the outside but once we were checking in we were also really happy with the atmosphere in the main hall. The receptionists were lovely and so welcoming. We did forget about the tourist tax! However this was obviously our mistake. For 1 week we were charged €46.20. We got given a room facing the front of the hotel, so we got a stunning view of Menorca. We were very glad to get this room as many people say the pool side can be fairly loud. During entertainment, you can hear what is going on downstairs but that is to be expected as we were just on the first floor. We were very impressed with the room. It was noticeably cleaned prior to us arriving, there was a large wardrobe (including a fair amount of hangers!!), a bath / shower, desk with two chairs, two twin beds pushed together (we were already made aware of this when booking), a nice balcony with two chairs and a table, a perfect size tv for the room size etc. We did not feel we were missing anything in the room. We had good supply of towels and when the room got cleaned they were replaced. Minor problems we found were the hand soap was oddly quite a reach from the bathroom sink? Was not an issue for us but maybe for others. The shower when used would typically soak the counter beside it so perhaps the shower head needs moving somewhere more suitable. These issues were not a big deal for me and my partner, and we do feel the room was worth what we paid. We were very impressed with the condition the cleaners would leave our room in when they’d clean it! We would argue the most impressive part of this hotel is the staff. The staff were all incredible. They were all so friendly and helpful! Many were up for a chat too which was lovely. The bartender / waiter Manu was a favourite of ours, he was always having a laugh with us. We noticed how professional they all seemed. They deserve lots of credit! The two ladies that did the entertainment were amazing! We took part in quite a few activities provided like crossbow, air rifles, and archery. The entertainers were very good at getting people out of their comfort zone! We even received certificates for some games which was a nice touch. The food provided was to a good standard. We went all inclusive and therefore took advantage. Breakfast was typically the same stuff every day with subtle changes every now and then. The food provided was perfect for people who love an english breakfast but there was also continental food and pastries provided too. Lunch and dinner had good varieties of foods every day. There was always a salad bar, and a different soup of the day. Along one side of the buffet there would be many unique new foods to try, but for more picky eaters (like me) there was a section further away with different pastas, sauces and pizzas. Me and my partner were especially impressed with the dessert options every lunch and dinner time. There were always a good selection of different cakes and ice cream, with some pastries and different mousses etc. Lovely selection and we definitely made the most of our money with the desserts lol. There were good selections of drink machines. Different fresh juices, some wines, soft drinks and beer on tap. Always ice, lemon and orange slices available which was a great touch. The all inclusive drinks were also something we took advantage of. There isn’t a huge selection of cocktails featured in the all inclusive section, but we found our favourites and stuck to them all week. You could also have hot drinks throughout the day and soft drinks etc. We absolutely loved the entertainment provided in the evenings. We saw a Michael Jackson tribute act, a few singers, guitarists, and saw there was a magic act also coming up which we unfortunately missed. What we enjoyed the most was the karaoke night which many people got involved in. There were three pools at this hotel but we only used the main one. It was a lovely, well maintained pool, however we found because of the time of year it was tricky to use as it is not heated. We did however enjoy it once we got fully in lol. Around the pool there are sun beds which do typically get claimed early on in the morning. There are however a lot more dotted around outside nearby other pools and the bar. No shortage whatsoever! Two minutes from the hotel there is the Cala Blanca beach which is a lovely quick walk (takes you through a park!). The beach is small but has beautiful clear water. There is a restaurant and a bar beside it. To the right of the hotel there is a supermarket which supplies pretty much anything you might need. Prices are pretty good too. We recommend taking a trip down to Ciutadella. If you go to the bus stop right outside the hotel, I believe it is €1.70 per person and not a long trip whatsoever. It is a beautiful city to visit and spend a day at! Overall we were extremely happy with our stay at Globales Mediterrani. We would highly recommend!
From the moment we arrived at the Globales Mediterrani we were taken care of. Friendly reception staff, we asked for a quiet room, we were at the front of the hotel facing the fields and trees lovely sunrises, beautiful gardens all around the hotel grounds. The teams in the restaurants/kitchens were out standing, excellent choice of food always fresh, good choice of drinks, never any queues. The bar staff inside and outside were always friendly and helpful, good choice of drinks. The Hotel was spotless, the house keeping team always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the entertainment each night excellent entertainers and musicians, the entertainment team worked very hard during the day and evening thanks to them. Our TUI rep was lovely, Lots of outdoor space around the three pools, and the sunbathing area's. Outside the Hotel a beautiful Cala and restaurants, bus stop outside the back gate, turn right from the back gate few shops, on the left near the shops an ally way with bars, supermarkets, restaurants leading down to the the Irish Bar, and the seafront again beautiful views. We would recommend the full day boat trip it was stunning, a day in Ciutadella not to be missed.
Had a great holiday food was OK hotel very clean all staff very friendly and helpful. like a big shout out to Lara Sheila olga animation team very hard working girls very funny whoop whoop 👍we can't wait to return next year 🍻☀️🥃😎
Good: Overall we enjoyed our week in Globales Mediterrani although the weather was rather poor in the early days. Hotel in nice quiet area ALL STAFF ARE BRILLIANT!!! Scan QR code for hotel info 👍 Really good WiFi throughout the complex No problem getting a sun lounger but they need a good scrub and the umbrellas are minging and need upgrading, a few have been changed. Room was decorated fine, lack of shelves above the safe in the closet - easy to sort out. Beds were comfortable and extra pillows supplied. Air con really good. Good arrangement of kettle etc Good size mugs in the room, need a spoon. Food is subjective, but we did find it a bit hit and miss really, some nice and some not so nice. Strange how lunch often was better than evening meal?? Mostly tray baked meals for self service. Good snack bar inside and outside seating with free ice cream from a freezer when it’s open but strange opening times tbh Food in there varies with the time of day. I would expect a snack bar to be open most of the time but especially when the restaurant is closed, but not here! Bad: Only one self service Sangria tap working in the whole complex ie 2 in dining room and 1 in snack are not connected. Sangria was available over the pool bar. Why isn’t beer available on self service around the bars as is in the restaurant?? It would reduce queuing which can get tiresome although the staff were super efficient! Dining experience was the worst we ever experienced and we travel loads, crowded tables, unable to walk between tables, tables and pillars too close to food area which means it’s difficult to walk around to view food on offer which then results in queues building up, stupid layout!! Shower over the bath is absolutely dreadful, glass doors leak, shower head is too near to one end of the bath which soaks the shelf. Soap and gels dispensers but poor quality. Crazy that you need to lean over the bath to get hand soap from the dispenser to use for the sink!!! Plenty of hot water at a good pressure tho, but you are standing in a bath - remember that if you are not nimble on your feet. No where to sit quietly of an evening - it’s outside, in a noisy overcrowded show lounge. Or on 3 couches in reception if you were lucky?? Ugly: Safe - cost for a week was a disgusting 38€ plus 10€ key deposit, not even an electronic combination safe - Globales should be ashamed of themselves making this charge. Also you need to be aware that they only accept cash for the safe charge 😱 Of course it was our choice to pay it, but if we didn’t then insurance would be null and void should something go missing in the room. Old tables around bar/pool area were years past the useable date (see pic) yes they were cleaned, but you probably know the saying that you can’t polish a ….. Floors were washed but never properly cleaned as sun beds were not moved during cleaning. Dreadful state on sun umbrellas, ready for the dump! There needs to be No Smoking signs on the room balcony, we had selfish people next to us so we often couldn’t use the balcony first thing in the morning or leave the door open - there are NO ashtrays in the room/balcony - there’s the clue!! There’s a huge problem with a dreadful sulphur smell in the sea water. Did not swim because of this, it’s foul!! This is surely a health hazard and we would like our Tourist taxes put to good use there - THE BEACH IS UNUSABLE, sadly! Food: Food is plentiful with some days better than others. It’s strange that they show cook only on a lunchtime?? Basic salad items with nothing prepared in and enticing way Breakfast is ok with most basic things you would expect, no egg cups, but there are only hard boiled eggs anyway. Pasta section is shocking, not going to elaborate, but my wife is a veggie and usually relies on pasta. We had to ask the Maître d’ for a change from tomato soup type sauce and bolognese - we had a ‘cheddar cheese’ sauce 😱 There were some veggie items on offer which was nice. Mostly the ‘hot’ food is mainly tray baked meals. No show cooking with the exception of a small hot plate sometimes grilling small bits of fish or meat. It is definitely not 4 star standard that’s for sure. I know the manager will respond in a way - “sorry it didn’t meet ‘YOUR’ expectations” 🤷♂️ 2 good hot plates racks and a microwave which is often needed for a hot meal! Drinks: Proper Bacardi J&B whiskey Also good Spanish brands of Gin etc Sangria on tap (some places) Campari copy is excellent The 3 types of wine on tap - self service in the eating areas. Machine coffee is ok ish Things we accept as the norm: Tourist tax - 46.2€ for two per week card or cash) Towels 10€ deposit / 1€ per towel change (cash) Cleanliness if the rooms were fine. Pools are cool at first due to this being a summer hotel ie not heated and your body temp being raised. But lovely as far as we were concerned- refreshing swim. Would like to see some good cycle tracks along the main road so that you could get to Ciutadella easily on a bike. Overall it was ok, it’s NOT 4* it might have been when it was built but that’s some time ago. We guessed it might not be up to standard, but as we had a deal we’d give it a try - we would come back if a deal materialised again.
This was our third stay at this lovely hotel. Unfortunately my husband was taken ill and had to go to hospital. I would like to thank the team at the reception who showed compassion and kindness to me throughout this difficult time. I would also like to say thank you to the TUI representative Cecilia who was efficient, helpful and so kind. Thank you once again and we hope to return next year to this lovely hotel and beautiful Island. Mr and Mrs Smalley Room 124.
We returned to this hotel for a four day break. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel, grounds, and pool are maintained immaculately, and it is all scrupulously clean. The food is buffet style. There is something for everyone. The tapas night was a highlight. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and serviced daily. The “resort” of Cala Blanca is small, and quiet. There are several hotels, and a handful of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and a pharmacy. There is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel, with a regular service to Ciutadella, a beautiful little city, with a spectacular harbour and architecture. Downsides? It is definitely quiet, very quiet. That was what we were looking for. The room safe is dear. We would definitely return.
The Globales Mediterrani is a lovely hotel which is spotless and a credit to every member of the team. The team are always friendly and helpful and it really does show. The room was modern and overlooking the rear of the property - you can sometimes hear the coaches doing collections and drop offs. Food is fairly decent for buffet style and you can help yourself to drinks, beer, soft drinks and house wines are all available on tap. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the cove of Cala Blanca which is clean.
Stayed 11 nights, room clean and big enough for 2, balcony looked over the carpark and countryside unfortunately this meant we could hear coaches and lorries reversing beeps very early in the morning maybe best to book a Seaview or the annexes to avoid this. Every member of staff was helpful and always had a smile, they all worked really hard. The food was fairly good we ate well, could do with another coffee machine for breakfast time, puddings a bit repetitive. In all we had a good time Menorca is a lovely island .
This was our second stay at Globales Mediterrani, and once again, we had a wonderful time. We’d like to give a special mention to Carlitos, who truly stands out from the rest of the staff. He is one of the most professional and dedicated people we’ve encountered on any holiday. What makes him exceptional is his incredible work ethic and his genuine, people-focused attitude. Carlitos is fast, efficient, polite, and charming — he consistently goes the extra mile to make every guest’s experience more enjoyable, always with a smile. As returning guests, we were surprised to see Carlitos still working as a waiter, as we honestly expected him to have been promoted to a more challenging position that reflects his talent and dedication. Someone with such exceptional ability and passion for hospitality truly deserves recognition. He is, quite simply, worth his weight in gold, and we hope the management values him as much as the guests do. We’re already looking forward to our next stay in summer 2026.
The staff here are happy, hard working and very helpful. Rooms are spacious but basic. Hotel is exceptionally clean. Location across the road from the beach is great. Good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Two things let this hotel down. The single large and noisy buffet restaurant is not what you would expect in a 4 Star hotel - 3 star at best. The food is luke warm and bland and after time under the heat lamps dried up. Its basically very similar food every day. There was a table with speciality dish shes on a couple of days and the sushi was good but went very quickly - had to get in early. There are no chefs cooking freshly cooked food in the restaurant - eg pasta, omelettes or BBQ which is usually a standard feature in an all inclusive. Breakfast was the best serving, however we could not understand why they put out fruit that was not ripe - we cant eat hard nectarines or fibrous bananas. They wouldn’t need to do much to improve the food quality. The inside bar area was cold and noisy. The entertainment area is in the main bar so there is nowhere to sit for a quiet drink and talk when it is cold outside. Would really benefit from a separate inside bar or at least some heaters outside. Overall we had a good time here for the price we paid but would have been disappointed if this was our only holiday or if we had paid peak season prices.
Just returned from a weeks all inclusive holiday. The hotel and grounds are immaculate , rooms are quite spacious.Take a little wander around the grounds to appreciate the fauna and flowers. The staff are so friendly and strive to meet your expectations , nothing is ever a problem. Hover there are issues that has been mentioned fom reviwers but not been acted on. The pools temps are icy cold , so much that a quick dip and out again , the temp need increasing a few degrees. The layout of the buffet area needs improving , you que from the salad area in a circular route to get to the hot food station , long ques soon develop. This could easily be resolved by keeping the salad area apart the same as the starters and sweet sections. Speaking of food , the quality is only average and lukewarm to tepid. One reply was that they cater for a wide clientele , sorry but thats not good enough. If these issues were addressed , the hotel would be worthy of a 4 star experience status, but presently it is not.
Just returned after two fantastic weeks at this hotel. We booked relatively recently and were surprised how cheap the deal was. Only two negative points and one niggle. As others have said the charge for safety deposit boxes seems a bit on the high side. We didn’t bother and had no issues with leaving valuables in the room. The €1 charge for changing towels. Could rack up some extra pounds but in reality it helps the environment if people are not changing towels needlessly. This hotel like many others charges a tourist tax. Be prepared. I think this was in the region of £65 per room for two weeks. I wish tour operators would include this in their prices. Not a fault of the hotel. Food was plentiful and varied. Always a choice of three or four meat dishes and a couple of fish dishes at lunch and dinner, in addition there was pasta and pizza. Breakfast is what you’d expect. Normal cooked variety plus continental selection of meats, cheeses pastries and a variety of fruit. The property is exceptionally clean. The staff are present all day cleaning the rooms and public areas. Waiting staff very friendly as are the bar staff. Always smiling and polite. Animation team worked hard and were also friendly and helpful. Entertainment fantastic. Semi professional/ professional entertainers for 12 nights out of the 14 we were there. These ranged from an ABBA tribute band to duets, male and female singers, a crossover opera style duo, a Michael Jackson tribute a magician and acrobats. Other nights karaoke. Bingo every evening for those so inclined. We spent most of the time by the upper pool. Lovely area and hot when the sun came out. Nearby beach busy but sea warm and clean. Ideal for snorkeling. We caught the but to Ciutadella and to Mahón, only a few pounds. Went on a boat trip organised by the hotel reception. All day lunch included for €55 pp. For those looking for nightlife this is not the resort for you. There are a few bars, cafes and shops a few hundred yards from the hotel. Out of the back gate turn right. The pharmacist and doctor are also near the shops. The bus stop is also by the back gate. Reception staff very helpful regarding bus times and will also arrange taxis. All in all a brilliant holiday. Don’t know how this hotel dies it for the price! Will definitely return and highly recommend.
Just returned, Around 45-50mins bus ride to hotel from airport with 5or6 drops before hand. city taxi was 46.20 euro for 2 people for a week. Safe 38 euro and 10 back on return of signed slip. Room was clean and spacious, towels, body wash and hand soap provided. Tea and coffee facilities(mugs not tiny cups) Towels changed every 2nd day (I left them in bath) beds tidied unsure if changed in that week. TV has a few English channels. Food although plenty wasn't hot, just warm. Plenty of cards to let you know of allergens, no gluten free area, I had to ask a few people before they got me some bread and then later a roll, ended up buying some bread at supermarket. You can fill water bottles here, the bar outside or snack area. Ice cream free in snack area not at outside bar. Drinks are good, decent measures. We had no problems with sun loungers, some low music in all 3 sun lounge areas would be good, as would putting little hooks in all the ladies bathrooms and better electric hand driers . Entertainment was ok but the pillers spoilt the view of the stage and it can become very noisy, an independent evening bar/sports bar with TV may work to help there .Small beach 2mins walk away. Plenty of little gift shops and supermarkets. All the staff were great . Up at the Blarney stone is a definite to see a great sunset, There's a small gym , book day before and theres a complimentary room free for half hour to freshen up on last day , again book day before. Lockable room for luggage on your last day if you have later flight. Would I return, yes definitely, all holidays have small things we would change if we could. Definitely worth a visit.
We stayed for a week at the Mediterrani recently we were initially put in room 110 at the rear of the hotel overlooking the bins the room was really noisy and next to a generator so we asked to move although we couldn't until the next day as was told it was full. We were allocated another room the next day which was better. The hotel is in a quiet location with not much in the vicinity and a small beach nearby. The hotel was clean and staff were attentive and pleasant. The drink quality is average but limited cocktails which were rubbish. Queues in the restaurant particularly in the evening choices were not great dried pasta and pizza, undercooked rice, either chicken or pork most nights, everything tastes bland, no fresh omelette for breakfast just undercooked bacon and watery scrambled egg which was disappointing. Overall 3* definitely not a 4
Beautiful clean hotel staff lovely couldn't fault this hotel but the restaurant lets it down the way the food is set out had to start in queue for salad and work your way around to hot food(not that hot)by they time you had collected food it was cold and some people picking up and putting down they should have had a salad bar separate then the hot food we didn't even see there was pizza and pasta on because it was further away and people were sitting in front of it took 2 days before we found it they need to reorganise the food layout as it is it's not good the only thing that let's this lovely hotel down
Just returned from here , booked on a whim , but turned out to be fabulous , food , drinks , atmosphere, service , all punching well above their weight , Entertainment was well worth staying in for , and the staff worked hard throughout the day , Will definitely be going back again , Well done be the Mediterrani
I'm late writing this review as it was the end of may into June that me and my Husband stayed at the globales Mediterrani( but better late than never lol) our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable, to start with our room was on the 4th floor so we had a lovely view of the sea, the room was nice and clean and beds were very comfortable, the food was always nice and we never went hungry and there's something there for even the fussy eaters, the pool area is cleaned every morning and the gardens are kept looking lovely by the gardener who is always busy making sure the flowers look their best and mowing the lawns. The staff are great, from bar to restaurant and you can tell they see themselves as one happy family, they all get on so well. The evening entertainment is the best we have seen in a A/I hotel and we've been to the big ones in Turkey, we've booked to go back in May 2026 and so looking forward to it, we haven't long returned from a globales hotel in Ibiza and it wasn't a scratch on this one.
Lovely stay at this friendly welcoming hotel. We were allocated a room on the 4th (top) floor overlooking the front of the hotel. Fabulous view of the sunrise each morning. Very comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Decent hairdryer in the bathroom but I wasn’t keen on the over bath shower, which I had to hurdle in and out of each time which wasn’t ideal as my balance can be a bit off! Good choice of food although the queuing can be tedious. We were there in mid Sept - I can’t imagine what it must be like at the height of the summer. Evening entertainment was excellent - and the aqua Zumba class was brilliant - especially if nutty Lara was leading it! A short walk from the gate at the rear of the hotel takes you to the beach - the sea was like a warm Bath. I can appreciate the charges for pool towel hire and a further charge to change your towel but I’ve never been in a decent hotel that charges for safe hire!! I thought that was a cheek! All in all a fabulous hotel with happy friendly staff and I’d be happy to return.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful resort. We generally had a great stay, but a few things could be improved. Staff were friendly and helpful and very hardworking. Check in was efficient, however our room was not ready as we arrived early. No options were offered for getting changed while we waited and there was no luggage room, so our cases were just left sitting in reception. Rooms were lovely and spacious. We had a beautiful inland view from the top floor. Generally clean, although some hair left on floor and bathroom from previous occupant. Food was great. Lots of choice and always hot. Drinks were ok, but we always found something to enjoy. All inclusive cocktails are very limited. Area around pools were spotless and entertainment areas outside were beautiful. It is a very pretty hotel and grounds. Beware of charges....there is a tourist tax in Menorca which is set by the government so we were aware we had to pay this on arrival. Towels have a refundable charge to hire them and a charge for changing them. If you want a key for the safe in your room there is a significant charge. We were going to be charged €52 (10 of this refundable on departure) for a 4 night stay! For a safe that is already in the room this seems incredibly excessive! We have stayed in a number of 4 star hotels - some charge a deposit, some don't. These charges are not what would be expected for a good 4 star all-inclusive hotel.
Another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. From arriving to leaving everyone was welcoming and friendly. The hotel is kept extremely clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff work are all extremely hard working and all fantastic especially the bar staff. The food was very good with themed nights and could not fault it at all, very well presented and tasty. We never had an issue with sunbeds, the pool beds always went first but the area at the side of the pool bar always had beds available so there was no mad rush to get any towels down. We even went on a day trip and got back at 3pm but still got a bed in that area. The evening entertainment was good some night better than others but nothing to complain about in that respect. All in all had a fantastic second stay and will definitely be back.
CLIENTS BEWARE IF YOU ARE HIRING A CAR AND WANT TO PARK AT THE HOTEL . THERE IS A €10 CHARGE PER DAY . THATS €70 A WEEK OR €140 FOR 2 WEEKS . WE HAVE STAYED HERE 3 TIMES AND NO MENTION OF THIS CHARGE FROM TUI . MY PARTNER HAS DISABILITY ISSUES AND IS UNABLE TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT.

GLOBALES MEDETARRANI SUPER HOTEL What’s not to like! I’d like to give anyone reading this an honest appraisal. The twin room we had was on the first of four floors. Twin comfortable beds en suite and a balcony with two chairs and a table, and most of all spotless and pleasantly decorated. The food was amazing, without doubt the best I’ve ever had in an all inclusive. I like fish and there were always at least two types available every mealtime. My wife enjoyed the meat just as much. Plenty of salad available and vegetables, I have one reservation as I don’t understand why they think it’s a good idea to put bits of bacon in the peas or raisins in the spinach, very strange but a small annoyance. There are three pool areas depending on what you want, several lounging areas and never a shortage of somewhere to sunbathe. There’s an indoor lounge/bar that we never used as the weather was so good. There’s an outdoor area that had plenty of seating and a bar that was open from 10am until 11pm. Serving pretty much what you want and they have drinks to please everyone of all ages. There were a few drinks that you had to pay for and this grates a little as it’s either AI or it’s not! All the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. There are some pleasant walks along the main road through, which is always quiet, you are able to cut across to a rocky coast, or walk to the next resort, Santadriana. There is a small grubby beach area that could do with a lot of tidying and cleaning up but the areas at the hotel more than compensate which was as spotless as the room. Our stay was a five day break in early September 2025 but I could have comfortably stayed for two weeks, of course if you did that, I feel you would need to hire a car to see more of this fabulous island. All in all a great holiday and wouldn’t hesitate in returning or recommending this real gem.
Hotel and grounds are far better than any internet photos can show you. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, the issue I had (loud neighbours) was quickly rectified by a swift change of rooms… what a blessing, a quiet nights sleep. Lara from the entertainment is as mad as cheese and thoroughly full of life, quirky isn’t the word but a fantastic asset to the hotel. Shower was good and powerful, rooms clean and attended to daily. Food was very receptive although what we on offer was good and there is always pizza and chips to fall back on so you never go hungry. Some evenings we had violinist and flutist playing us into restaurant which was a nice touch. The beach wasn’t too far away, literally 3 minutes walk, we didn’t spend much time there as it had an awful smell, namely Spanish drains! Couple of supermarkets 5 minutes walk up the road. Overall the price and the enjoyment of the holiday were on par, our 10 days here were fine.
The hotel was lovely. It was clean, comfortable, beautiful views and 2 min walk from a lovely beach. We really enjoyed the quiet resort of Cala Blanca - some nice little shops to walk to, and on a rainy day, we went to the old capital city on the bus (just outside the hotel). The food was ok. Breakfast was great, but lunch and dinner became very repetitive, very quickly. The snack bar was the same, just food left over from breakfast and lunch. The issue there was a group of English boys which got bigger and louder as the days passed, to the point that the pool felt like an out of control school playground. These lads ruined the pool games run by the entertainment team with their tribal shouting, booing and sexism toward my daughter who wanted to join in the entertainment team games. The parents just sat on the sunbeds whilst their sons were bombing in the pool, running round, screaming and shouting. It was honestly awful for the last 2 days of our holiday. The lifeguards tried to calm them but didn't have any control. I, and others, felt the hotel management should have really warned them and their parents about the behaviour as it was truly awful, and they knew they could do as they please. Would we come back? No, but overall we had a good week. I didnt realise how cloudy, stormy and rainy Menorca can be - obviously not the hotel's fault, but if you normally go to Greece or Cyprus and expect constant sunshine you'll be disappointed like we were.
All inclusive was 3 star… food flipped in 3 days low on choice.. charged for ground coffee, chocolate milk, towel cleaning, basic key safe, ice cream, tourist tax, 90% staff rude and short with patience.. smiles were few and far.. 3 stand out staff in restaurant and bar areas.. you pay was the favourite feedback. Pillows very poor, black out blinds very poor, coaches every morning from 7 reving engines, beeping, cleaners up and down corridor from 8am.. on one occasion the maid stopped me and show me a message hi…. I am…. I work…. And am off tomorrow and ….. said nothing I can only assume she was pressing for a tip.. felt very strange. Music around pool very load Jet washed every morning pocarline tiles very slippy. Wires and pipes very dangerous.. room was manufactured for 3 but designed for 2 Lack of space to dry hair with mirror and plug sockets The booking told me nothing of the charges, reception didn’t advise, took deposit for towels but didn’t inform me I had to pay 1€ per day to change = 3 € I spent €24 for towels cleaning in 7days and we had thunder storms.. positives hotel was clean, A good base The booking didn’t tell me what I was expected to pay Safe €38 for 1 week €10 deposit old crappy key safe excessive costs Towels €10 each deposit Towels cleaning / daily change €1 per towel per day Tourist tax €56 During stay had to pay €2each for chocolate cold milk €2.20 for coffee or free out out coffee machine €24 towel cleaning Many other things were upgrade costs which should of been included.. We did purchase several bottles of wine which is fine they offer 3 which we don’t like. All in all pre booking holidays this type of information should be visible. I did find out some of these through other means but it’s TUI role to make me aware not Sheila from London who’s just got back with her 3 kids and husband and spent an arm and leg despite being A.I
A compact hotel standard for Spain. Initially underwhelmed as we arrived but that soon changed and we enjoyed our 2week stay. Positives - food very good, tasty and warm. Entertainment ok, low key easy going just what the hotel needs although hotel needs to sort out the speakers. Clean hotel, location close to a small beach. Even though it was August the hotel didn’t reel too crowded, sunbeds are gone by the main pool by 0745 if you haven’t got your towels down!! Everybody does it so no drama if you want a good spot. Drinks are good quality and easy to get. Beer is Mahou. Negatives - nothing major and nobody really had anything bad to say. Bathroom needs a refurb, rooms a bit small if more than two people. Not too much in the immediate area of the hotel but Ciutadella is nearby which is pretty and good choice of dining/drinks. Overall an OK hotel as cheaper than many so decent value overall. Fellow guests ok with mix of mainly UK, and some Spanish, Italian and French.
Great location just 50m across the road from the beach, which is beautiful with cheap pedalos (€20) and rocks to jump from. Souvenir shops, supermarkets and bars showing football are five minutes’ walk away. Lovely food with plenty of choice, including a hot station. Drinks were good with low-alcohol options and a wide range of spirits. The pool bar served great snacks and late food was available in the restaurants after entertainment – a nice touch. Entertainment was decent, though the poor sound system didn’t help. The hotel was spotlessly clean, especially the bedrooms. All staff were friendly, polite and helpful – kudos to the whole team. Three pools including a kids’ pool. We stayed by the smaller pool most days and Diego the lifeguard was brilliant – really added to our holiday. Free Wi-Fi throughout.
Precio calidad muy bien y muy bien situado

We had a lovely week away. The rooms were cleaned daily, but the cleaners were quite loud in the mornings, so you could hear everything in the room. The food was okay, with little change for the kids, but there were good options for adults. However, many of the food labels were incorrect, so it’s best to ask if you’re unsure. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and there are local shops too. We visited the water park, which was fantastic! We managed to get a taxi for under €20 one way. There wasn’t much information about the entertainment options at night or during the day. However, there was a bingo every night, but it was cash only. The hotel bar, on the other hand, was cashless for ice coffees and ice creams. You have to pay €38 for a safe, but you get €10 back at the end of your trip. The sunbeds are gone by 8 around the pool, but there are plenty of beds at the back if you don’t have kids. Surprisingly, many people saved beds and didn’t use them until about 2 pm. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly.
Another amazing holiday at the Medditerrani!! Wonderful food, spotlessly clean and fabulous staff. We really love this hotel, we are really sad we have been unable to book our third visit next year due to prices being too high. A huge shout out to Lara on the animation team, our son loved the mini disco and he really loved Lara. And also Carlos behind the bar, he was so good with our son and made his stay memorable. Hope to be back at this wonderful hotel in the future.
fantastic food, compact hotel with everything nearby we have just come back from a 4 night stay. the room was spacious and clean we were all inclusive and the food was better than our recent cruise with msc. never had a queue to get a drink and there was an a drinks menu with a good selection there were activities for the kids and adults (including bingo every evening) you have to give a deposit of €10 if you want a beach towel and then €1 if you want to change it. the safety deposit box in the room was a charge of €38, i felt this was really really expensive and that would be my only criticism if you want a sun bed by the pool you have to get up early, they are all gone by 7.30 as is often the case they reserve the bed and then dont go there until much later. however there is plenty of seating as we had to check out early, breakfast opens at 6 for these guests a limited selection but a lovely touch if you want to book the caves (about a 7 min walk), book really early as it was sold out when we were there. the hotel is part of a group and we will be trying another one in menorca. in the room there is tea/coffee, there wasn’t any english tea bags but there are plenty of these at lunch/dinner so this is easily sorted.
Booked this hotel quite last minute but it turned out to be a great find! Extremely clean with excellent staff. Food was lovely and plentiful; we especially enjoyed the themed nights. Rarely queued for a drink during the day or at night. Choice of pools and you could always find a sun bed (albeit not around the main pool after 7am!). Safe was expensive compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at (most have been free) but we’d found this out before we went, so it wasn’t a surprise. Local area is nice to explore, with a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops and to watch a beautiful sunset. Really couldn’t fault this hotel!
We have just returned home after a weeks stay at this hotel and we had an amazing week. The hotel is immaculate with many staff onsite daily cleaning inside and outside we could not find fault with the cleanliness. Some very minor wear and tear in the hotel room which is to be expected at high season with the amount of people coming and going but nothing that would spoil your holiday. If you want a bed round the pool you need to be up early but if you’re not too bothered there are always sun beds to be found away from the pool. The food was excellent and plenty of it available through the day the catering staff work round the clock to provide fresh food and despite working so hard we were always greeted with smiles, my husband and I referenced the long hours they must work more than once. We had seen a few reviews prior to our arrival around the food being cold. Initially we felt the same but after a couple of days we noticed the hot plates near the bread which made all the difference to keeping our food warm initially we were just picking up cold plates. All the food was freshly cooked and lots of theme nights. The only slight let down for us was the audio system for the evening entertainment as you could barely hear the act. I can’t remember the name of the group but they were a Michael Jackson tribute act they had put a lot of effort in to their show with costume changes and dance routines but the whole thing was let down by poor audio we felt so sorry for the group who saw it through despite the technical difficulties. It was the same as the week went on really poor audio I would recommend you have this looked at to avoid further disappointment. Overall a fabulous week here we would highly recommend and would certainly return in the future.
Clean & very well run hotel. The food is very good for an all-inclusive hotel. The restaurant staff work extremely hard. The time we visited was a very busy time but staff remained cheerful. Lovely drinks available. Generous food times and no problems when at times we slipped in 5 minutes before the end of service! Rooms comfortable, air-con running effectively and quietly. Asked for pool view and ws given it. Good evening entertainment that stops at 11pm so no thumping speaker until the early hours. All public areas clean and in good repair. Pretty little beach a few metres away. You can throw a towel down, or get there early (about 9am) for 2 x loungers and a fixed umbrella on the beach for €21. Cuitadella old town 10 mins away in a taxi (€10) for the port for boat trips (Mestral boat hire) and little markets and shops. You can get a taxi back to the hotel easily enough from one of the squares. Pool Zumba daily. Some of the reviews about the food made me nervous but I needn't have worried, fresh salads, hot dishes, paellas, a range of desserts, fish there is a huge range. Not sure what some of the people giving bad reviews were expecting?? Lobster and filet steak? Never gonna happen on an all-inclusive. We did have to reserve beds by the pool, every morning at 6am, but it is the busiest 2 weeks of the year and in school holidays. There were beds elsewhere but we wanted a specific spot. Book this hotel, you won't regret it.
Another great stay at Globales Mediterranean. Maybe our 4th or 5th stay here over the years. We tend not to ever go to the same hotel, but this place just does it for us. A relaxed and quiet area of Menorca, with a beach a stones throw away, plus a few bars/restaurants, means this is our ideal hideaway. Ciutadella is 10 minutes away in a taxi, & is a beautiful city to visit. No issues at the hotel. Food can get a bit same over 10 days, but we popped out for a couple of meals. It's not a negative by any stretch, as always a choice. Room was big and airy. My only negative, is that the fold out bed is not the most comfortable, but it's a minor issue. No sunbed wars here at all. Staff are lovely and friendly, and shout outs to Maribel, Marc, Xavier, Carlos, Lara, Maria, Daniel & Joanna, to name a few. Evening entertainment was not always what we wanted, so we would pop down to Hola Ola Bar. However, if Shanti & Simon are on the entertainment in the evening, then stay and listen. Amazing. If you are looking for a relaxed getaway, then this is the place.
Just sat in the sun on the steps waiting for our transfer and just wanted to take some time to say what a wonderful chilled week we have had. We stay at fancy 5 star resorts or villas but this was a reasonably priced last min deal with TUI and could not fault it! We’re here with a 17, 13 and 9 year old. The food is nice, does have busier times but we always went as late as possible. Hotel and rooms are clean. Beach is across the road with a few bars and restaurants lining the cove. There is a little centre 5 mins down the road - I mean little! But what a sunset spot! We did ask for 2 rooms next to each other which was provided and a quiet part of the hotel. If you get a sea view it’s also a pool view which is also where all the entertainment is at night so we were pleased with our country side view although it wasn’t quiet in the mornings with all the coming and going of staff and transfer busses honking horns or beeping as they reverse but that was the only negative really! We love the area so much we’ve booked to come back next may! Also cuitudela is worth a visit too only 10 mins away and beautiful as is the little marina of Cala en bosch
I stayed here with my husband and daughter, the hotel catered for families well. The room was fine although the bathroom needed a bit of tlc, on first review the shower looked to be one of the worst we have seen, however upon using it we found it was actually one of the best! The air con was excellent , in fact we had to turn it down as we found we would wake up cold in the night! Whilst to get a sunbed at the pool you would need to be out by 7am, if you were ok to use a bed away from the pool area you could find one anytime of the day. The food was fine, it’s never amazing due to the number needing to be catered for, but we always could find food we liked as there was a good choice at the each meal. There was not much to see in the resort but Ciutadella is only a short trip on a bus or taxi - definitely worth a visit (or two!). Given this was a Tui Platinum hotel we did expect the evening entertainment to be better and there was not many activities run in the day, there was aquacise that was to run twice a day but several days it ran just once, or not at all. We didn’t think it was right to need to pay for the room safe, this is the first time we had needed to do so didn’t purchase this. Overall a solid hotel, but would suggest a low 4 star when compared to other Tui Platinum hotels we have stayed at, but we would stay there again nevertheless and would recommend it.
This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint! From the welcome at the front desk to the cleaners to the waiting and bar staff - all just brilliant. The food was soooo good! So much choice. All fresh and tasty. Please dont believe the food is bad - it's really not. Lots of fish- it's a Mediterranean country so 🤷 and lots of different meats. If you just eat chips and pizza then I don't know what to say to you- maybe stay in the UK. Rooms were clean and comfy beds. Air con was good. Shower really good. The cleaner was so nice. A lot of the staff were there from the year before and remembered us which was nice. Pool is now a more even depth so better for families. Nice that there's now no smoking round the pool. Gardens were really beautiful. Entertainment was better this year. Really can't fault the place! We will be back at some point. The island is beautiful - Mahon and Citudella are stunning. Local beach is lovely but small and gets crowded. Restaurant staff are friendly and attentive. Everything was fantastic.
Currently staying in room 221 here, the room is lovely and clean, overlooking the pool and great evening sun. Shower is great. Beds and towels have been changed daily however I was disappointed that on an all inclusive the fridge was empty and you only get 1 small bottle of water for the duration of your stay. You can refill it in the bar but if you forget you’re stuck without water. I get eco friendly but not practical. There is coffee and tea in the room but no English teabags. The hotel is very clean, gardens are nice. The main pool is much smaller than it looks on the photos and is simply too cold to enjoy. I couldn’t get past my legs before having to get out and no sun beds around it unless you want to get up at silly o’clock. The children’s pool is a lovely temperature but I’m not a child and the one next to it is better but quite small. I was planning to swim a lot but it’s pretty busy in there (probably because it’s the only one most people could get in) so had to time my swims when most people were having lunch. More sun beds around this area which I could get everyday from around 9.30. It’s kind of not for kids or adults this hotel. Hard to define. Not much for kids to do at all. I’m so glad my 13 year old is not with me here! Or my friends 8 and 11 year olds! But kids can entertain themselves I guess. It’s more for couples that want to relax and chill with bingo and low key songs although there is a kids disco to start with. It’s quite short and for smaller ones. I do like a dance but there is nowhere around to seek more upbeat songs and atmosphere. There’s a few restaurants but no other entertainment so you’re kinda stuck at the hotel. Entertainment was ok but very boring. Slow chilled out songs but not a lot of upbeat ones. However on Wednesday the two guys were really good!! I know Menorcs is chilled but generally nearly sent me to sleep most days. As for beach towels, I was very annoyed that I had to pay 10€ deposit for each towel, had to be cash and no ATM at the hotel had to go out and find one which didn’t work! Finally found one that worked using contactless but really?? I just wanted a towel! Then to top it off I was furious that when I asked for a fresh towel at the end of the day I had to pay an extra 2€ to change it!. Imagine if you had a larger family! Not at all happy about this! This is what has prompted me to write this review. They are also quite small and they don’t cover the whole sun bed. Sun beds are also not comfortable but just about bearable. There is also added tax when you arrive about 40€ for 1 room 5 nights. The food is nice but a very limited choice not what I’m used to and the drinks are limited too. No pina colada on free cocktails which I personally love on holiday 6.50€ if I wanted one. Gutted. Some positives but not what I’d expect for a 4* all inclusive at all. I guess I should have read more carefully what was included in their all inclusive package. Wish I’d seen the drinks menu! Beach cove was lovely, busy and challenging to find somewhere to lay your towel. But beautiful! The sand is very sticky to your towel with seaweed bits so towelling towels not great lots of people had linen blankets instead which I didn’t bring but they worked well. Great down there! Loved it! But no all inclusive there of course. So…Don’t forget to fill your little water bottle, no cans you can take with you unless you buy them from the shop which is down the road. Weather is beautiful here though thank goodness! I wouldn’t come back here. I expected more for my money and didn’t expect to have to pay extras when I got here. Depends what you want from your holiday! Just my opinion x
We had a great time at this hotel. Food an all inclusive the food was more than okay, some days it was really nice. There was always something you could find to eat. Anyone complaining about the food must be very fussy eaters. Rooms and hotel were spotless. Downside, on arrival, one of the children had been placed on the wrong room. There were 7 of us. Myself, my wife and my children, and my mum, my sister and her children. One of my sisters children had been placed in a room with myself. I did inform TUI about this and they told me it would be fine, not to worry. However on arrival, the hotel manager told me this was not okay. The room for my sister, mum and two children only had 3 beds made up. They refused to make the third bed and told me that my niece would have to sleep on my room. The manager told us we would have to pay for my niece to go into the room with her mother as it was incorrect on TUI booking. This made no sense as both rooms had more than enough space. We had all paid £810 pp and was one large group booking. We also paid an extra £200 to update to a suite which was the room the manager would not allow my niece to sleep on until TUI amended the booking. This was not a nice way to start our holiday. We had to call TUI and speak to the TUI rep who eventually said they would sort this for us. Although, they did say it might not be possible. Thankfully, they sorted it.
Stayed here with family in July 2025. Generally we had a good time. There were plus and minus points which we list below. Plus points Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the whole hotel and the pool areas was very good, the grounds were well presented and maintained. Clearing of finished plates and glasses in both the restaurant and bars was always prompt, with very little queuing at the bars, even at peak times. Sunbeds around the main pool were reserved early, but there were always sunbeds available in other areas and around the small pool and children's pool. The evening entertainment mainly consisted of live acts which were very good. The resort of Cala Blanca was a lovely place to stay. A visit to Ciutadella with its historic buildings, lovely old centre and the harbour was only a short bus ride away and well worth a visit. Not so good Food - this falls short in selection, quality and taste compared to other 4 star hotels that we have stayed at. If you are not a meat or fish eater, the selection is extremely limited. The best nights for us were the Mexican and Asian nights. The rooms at the end of the hotel above the kitchen experience constant noise from the extremely loud extraction vent from the kitchen. This noise can also be heard around the small pool area and runs day and night. We found the offering of the All Inclusive drinks at this hotel to be significantly less than other hotels we have stayed in, and many things incurred an extra charge. We were aware that the safety deposit box in the room incurred a charge, however, this was considerably more expensive than we have previously encountered (almost double the cost). As mentioned by other reviews, the karaoke night needs a rethink. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was disappointing with 50% of our days with sunshine and the other 50% with cloud, rain, wind and thunderstorms. This had a negative effect on our trip as we go on holiday to rest and relax around the pool. Fortunately, the sun came out for our last day and a half and we ended on a positive note.
We have returned from a 10 day stay here and yes like others have said there are pluses and minuses for the hotel. Plus Room cleaned every day Clean towels also every day Cleaners were super friendly. Bar staff amazing to name a few, Marc, Maribel, Luciana all fantastic friendly and there were 2 that were usually in the bar up the stairs that I forget the names of but one lady I think she is from Denmark and the older guy dark hair both of these were lovely and remembered your order. Reception made it feel like we had been missed from our previous visit. They also did there best to put us in the rooms close to those we had last time. Life guards were attentive - Antony interacted with our daughter and was pleasant the older 2 talked to my parents. Cons Challenging to have any 'parent time' as the rooms have all the beds in the same room. Too easy to drink from early hours and the food isn't great which means people are drunk quickly. Resturant staff never seem to smile, the older lady who might be the boss looks angry all the time. The food waste that happens must be so much. Breakfast was bad, lunch was better and evening meal was not much better than breakfast. We ate out 6 times in 10 days because of the food.if your happy with chips and dry pasta or strange fish then you should be fine. During the day the beer apparently tasted okay come evening time it wasn't drinkable very odd. Would we come back yes would we prefer not all inclusive probably. The local area is beautiful we walked every day over 119 thousand steps completed across 10 days. Citudella is pretty but once you have been not much else to see there. Santandria small stroll down the road to a lovely little beach bay. The hotel staff in the bars and restaurants and cleaners are Fantastic. The entertainment team do there best but there wasn't much for the kids to do in the day. Who wants to play bingo for 1 hour every evening when the kids disco is only 20 minutes. Evening entertainment is mixed. Overall we had a lovely time but we went out the hotel every day for at least 2 hours sometimes 6 hours as other wise it felt you were just waiting to eat again.
Great hotel. Good location. One big downside . Smoking is allowed on room balconies. It's pretty grim and often meant my son and I couldn't spend time on our balcony and our room smelt of someone else's smoke. In this day and age I would think limiting smoking to some communal outside hotel areas is more appropriate and better for non smoking guests which to be fair nowadays are the majority.
We recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, a few issues left us quite unsettled. Firstly, the good: the hotel itself is spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was spacious with a lovely large balcony. The cleaning staff clearly do an excellent job. The pool area was a highlight – there’s a main pool with activities, a quieter pool, and a children’s pool, so there’s something for everyone. The location is also fantastic – situated in a small harbour, just steps from an ATM, supermarket, bus stop, a pretty little cove, and several bars and restaurants. a great hotel if you are after a nice base, but not a great all inclusive. However, there were some significant downsides. The food was fairly standard for an all-inclusive – clearly trying to cater to a wide range of nationalities – but unfortunately it lacked flavour and was often lukewarm. We ended up going out most evenings to eat. The drinks were okay, but overly sweet and there wasn’t much variety in the cocktail offerings. Most concerning, though, were the safety issues we witnessed around the pool. While sitting at the quiet pool, I saw two separate incidents where very young children (one no older than 3) nearly drowned. In the first case, it was a fellow guest – not the lifeguard – who noticed the child was in trouble and pulled him out. Shockingly, the lifeguard was on his phone at the time and didn’t react until another guest had already pulled the boy out. Less than an hour later, a similar incident occurred. This was extremely distressing and raises serious concerns about the level of supervision and safety protocols in place. The life guards seemed more interested in their phones and talking to their friends than watching the pool. At this time of the 1st incident there were only 2 people in the pool! Finally, our balcony doors didn’t lock properly, and with a roof area directly below, we didn’t feel totally secure in our room. In summary: while the location and cleanliness were excellent, the lack of food quality and – more importantly – the worrying lack of safety around the pool mean we would not return to this hotel. We’ll definitely be back to Menorca, but we’ll stay elsewhere next time.
I recently stayed at the Mediterrani for 7 nights with a group of friends for a big birthday celebration. It was a near perfect experience. The Hotel was clean and beds comfortable. The food was of a high standard and suited all tastes. All the staff were marvellous and friendly. The Entertainments team were very good. Aquafit will never be the same again without a glass of Cava before and after. A big thanks to everyone.
Fantastic Hotel – Would Stay Longer Next Time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Globales Mediterrani for 3 nights and honestly wish we’d booked a full week or more. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety all day and some great themed nights that kept it interesting. Drinks were good, and the evening entertainment added a fun, lively atmosphere without being overbearing. There was always plenty of space and sunbeds around the pools during the day, which made relaxing really easy — no need to get up early to reserve spots! The hotel is just a short walk from a small beach. While the beach had a slight eggy smell, the nearby beach bars were lovely, with beautiful views and a laid-back feel. A couple of tips: bring some cash for the safe and towel deposit. One lovely surprise was that, even though we had an early check out they opened the breakfast service — such a thoughtful touch. Overall, a fantastic hotel with great food, service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’d definitely return for a longer stay!
The hotel its self is a 4 star but the food and staff let it down, let me explain. When we arrived we were given a free upgrade which was very nice. The reception staff didn’t tell us anything about the hotel, food times, towels, safe etc. We made our way to the room and left the cases. On trying to activate the safe, I called reception to then find out I had to pay €42 (cash) for 4 nights before it would work; so back to reception we went. While we were there we asked about towels for the pool, that’s another €20 (cash but is refundable) good job we asked. Food- this is where it was a real let down! Bland, no cooking stations, no offer of coffee in the morning you have to use a machine like a school canteen system. When we arrived at lunch time the first thing that caught our eyes was the flies. Now the staff are also aware as you see them waving their hands over the food very frequently to move them. The head chef was also doing the same when he came into the restaurant. The waitresses and waiters do not interact with guests, no good morning / afternoon how are you, which is something that would make a big difference. They just swipe your empty plate and leave. Drinks- this again was disappointing as regular cocktails you would normally get for free are charged for. Mojito, P Star, SOTB etc are not free. The drinks are pre mixed so you are not sure what you are drinking. I’ve added a picture as an example. If the manager would just make a few changers this could be a great place. Smiles instead of eye rolls behind the pool bar are much more welcoming.
My husband and I have just returned from an all inclusive 7 day break at Globales Mediterrani. We had such an amazing, stress free, relaxing holiday. We could not fault anything. The Hotel is one of the cleanest that we have ever stayed in. The staff were so lovely and the food was gorgeous. All so fresh and such a great choice too. We will definately be going back. Lynne & Jon Davies Ipswich, Suffolk.
This hotel is situated in a nice area and the swimming pools and outside space are very well kept. The rooms are clean with comfy beds, good showers and decent bed linen and towels. We had a junior suite which I was a little bit disappointed with as it had no view and in my opinion they should be advertised as family rooms as they have a separate bedroom and a room with a bed settee but other than that are nothing special. The evening entertainment was very good and varied. It’s only a 10 min taxi ride to Ciutadella which is a lovely day out and a 10min stroll to watch a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately the hotel food was a big let down. Breakfast was fried eggs sitting in grease and over cooked sausage also in grease, the bacon although not bad was also lying in grease. No poached eggs and omelette’s were made and stacked on a tray with no option of fillings that I could see. Also a lack of potatoes such as hash browns etc. The pastries, yoghurt and fruit were fine. Mid day we tended to use the smaller terrace to eat as we could make a ham and cheese sandwich with salad or a burger, also on offer was pizza and usually something sweet. The evening meal was a disappointment, plenty on offer but the quality and presentation were poor, the area with pasta, sauces pizza etc was tasty but generally cold. We did have pork once and the moussaka was hot and tasty but grilled chicken, turkey or pork loin cooked to order as in other hotels were never on offer and no carvery except for pork one night. The soups weren’t nice at all with the exception of 2 nights when we had zuccchini and vegetable. The drinks were a bit hit and miss but generally ok. I’m sorry but what could have been a lovely holiday was spoilt by the food and we won’t be returning.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel with great staff and a fantastic location, but it’s let down by the food and a few odd choices that don’t quite make sense. The staff were genuinely excellent; friendly, welcoming, and really great with kids. When our son was unwell for a few days, they couldn’t have been kinder. At one point I was asked to pop by reception, it turned out they just wanted to check in and see how he was doing. The animation team were brilliant, the mini disco was a huge hit for our son - this was simply down to the engagement he received from the staff. The evening entertainment was really good for an all-inclusive hotel. But it was a bit of a struggle to get seats sometimes, as the area gets busy quickly. The location is superb. We enjoyed popping across the road to the beach. Also a nice place to grab a drink from one of the many bars and just soak up the sea view. There is a nice area just a 5-10min walk away where you can stroll along a promenade lined by some shops, bars and restaurants. Shout out to Nautilus which served great food. Also there is a pool bar on route called Maribel - this contains a kids soft play area which our kid loved. Back to the Hotel - the food, unfortunately, was the biggest letdown. Presentation was lacking, with many meat dishes served in sauce without much visual appeal. Labelling was inconsistent or completely missing, which made it difficult to identify what was being served. There was a pizza and pasta station, but the options were limited. Some evenings we struggled to find something appealing and actually ended up eating out three times during the week (which we hadn’t planned to do). The themed nights were a nice idea in theory, but they felt a little underwhelming. A broader range of themed dishes would have helped, as would some promotional signage outside the restaurant to let guests know what to expect on each night. It just felt a bit pot luck - have to say that the Mexican night was good - probably the best food we had during our stay at the hotel. In general, the chef station was a bit one-note, with the Chef generally cooking a single meat option. The paella was a disappointment, different variations were available most nights, but the rice was generally congealed and clumped together. I witnessed a few people giving up on the idea after picking up the serving spoon and then struggling to get any rice to land on their plate. Drinks at the bar were generally good, nice beer, alcohol free beer in bottles, a nice selection of cocktails, decent soft drinks but It was disappointing to see that there were no iced coffees available. The closest option was a frappe, which you had to pay for. The frappes were nice but they took time to prepare, which put pressure on the bar staff and held up other drink orders. I’d suggest the hotel considers offering a basic iced coffee, it’s a nice thing to enjoy especially after breakfast on a hot morning The food at the snack bar was ok but repetitive—pizza, burgers, and hot dogs most days. A toastie would have been a nice addition, but oddly they were only available at breakfast, not in the afternoon. They also served some basic cakes and fruit and there was a self-serve Mr Whippy-style machine, which is a nice touch. Great for kids as they could help themselves to a waffle cone or tub and decorate the ice cream with sprinkles and sauces. The only downside is that the ice cream itself was very bland—more like a sorbet in texture, and virtually no flavour. The opening hours of the snack bar were a bit odd. With the exception of being open from 4pm - 6pm, the snack bar aligned to restaurant hours and closed during set periods throughout the day (when the restaurant was also shut). In other resorts I have been used to the snack bar open throughout the day so you can opt to grab a snack whether the restaurant is open or not. The gym was a bit of a squeeze—only one person can use it at a time, so you have to book and then grab the key from reception. It’s a small space with a treadmill, cross trainer, spin bikes, and a few dumbbells (which only go up to 10kg), also there are no exercise mats. There’s a shower which is handy. The safe in the room was a cost of €38 for the week(not a deposit), which felt excessive, especially considering it was just a basic safe tucked inside a wardrobe. I know charging for a safe is standard at some hotels, but it still feels a bit over the top to charge so much. It’s not like it generates any overhead whether you use it or not - you are essentially paying to use the key for a week. The hotel has already invested in the furnishings, fittings, tv etc for the room. Part of what you already pay for the room is to cover these costs - so why charge for the safe? Sunbeds around the main pool were hard to come by, also they are not particularly comfortable due to a gap between the head rest and the main body of the bed - our son kept falling through this gap which wasn’t ideal. Just something to be aware of. In all - we had a lovely holiday. It’s a really nice hotel and super clean. Probably being overly picky with some of the comments but figure some of the detail may be useful for others. We had stayed at Cala en’Bosch in June at a fabulous hotel so our expectations had may have been heightened a bit too much by that experience.
Genuinely could not fault this lovely place. Went for a last minute all inclusive week with my husband and loved every second. We flew from Bristol with a weeks notice as we tend to do a lot of moving around now and less all inclusive so I wanted the choice to sit by a nice pool and read for a week or spend time at the beach but equally to explore the local area and move about it we got fed up of sitting and this place did not disappoint. Pro’s - Beds were very comfortable. I usually wake with sore shoulders or neck in a lot of places (which is just me) but not here. Slept soundly all week. Air conditioned and easily controlled for comfort. Food was varied and always well cooked. I like a mixture and this is exactly what was provided. Mixed choice of meats and fish as well as breads, salad, fruit, sweets and side dishes. I feel like there was something for everyone (adults and children alike) and they did theme nights as well. It difficult to cater to every taste but I thought they did brilliantly. Room sizes were big and airy with plenty of storage and a large flat screen if you wanted to chill away from the sun for a while with multiple channels in different languages. Our room had a huge walk in shower. Location is stunning. Out the side gate and across the road to a beautiful cove beach which was very safe and had a choice or available water sports. Local bars and restaurants. Went over a few times to just enjoy the view and have a swim. I tend to feel a little less comfortable when out of my depth in the sea but the coves of Menorca are calm, safe and stunning. I could have swam up and down all day. On location. It is just a 5-10 minute stroll to the local shops and bars. A beautiful street of restaurants and shops including supermarkets, tourist shops etc as well as a dr and the hospital is not far for any people who may worry about an unexpected emergency. The walk up the street and to the local shops was really pretty and the coast is stunning. There is another local cove which is equally as beautiful. If you are walkers like me, it’s really easy and lovely for a change of scenery but there is also a bus stop right outside the gate. A little further afield is the former capital. We absolutely loved this place. Went twice. The first on bikes which we hired from the hotel. Fantastic bikes and fantastic service. €30 per electric city bike for the day. Reception ordered them for the next day for us and they were delivered to the hotel and as long as they were returned back same day, there was no time limit so we went for a 30k ride up the coast of the island exploring the sites and little hideaways. The former capital is only 5-6k away along the stunning coast and has everything you could ask for. Shopping, restaurants and bars. Harbour, history and culture and comes alive in the evening. You can also get the 64 bus which takes 20 minutes for $1.70 or a taxi which we got back one night for €10 which was only 6 minutes. Every member of staff we met at the hotel was brilliant, always a greeting and a smile and could not do enough for you, all you had to do was ask and they work long hours so deserve your praise for there great work. Entertainment was good and mixed. It may not all be for you but tried to do something for everyone to suit the mixture of ages staying. Great entertainment programme every day in the pool or to the side of the site, a rep on site daily with answers to everything and offering trips and the evenings were fun. There is a larger lagoon pool which was utilised for some of the daily games and two smaller spools. A small but deeper quiet pool and a small and shallow kids pool. Our room was in block B on the ground floor which walks right out of the children’s pool which initially was a worry as we do not have children but as we travel outside of school hours it was mostly young family’s there so we chose to sit by the kids pool daily which was blessed with sunshine all day and umbrellas to get shade as needed (and it was needed for me). The 3 pools are all around 100m of each other with a beautiful restaurant and pool bar with restaurant In the middle. Tea and coffee making faculties in the room and free wifi throughout the hotel and grounds. Cons - I am stretching here to find anything as we had an amazing time but if anything… Where our room was is close to the entertainment which could be heard until gone 11 so if you are an early sleeper or want to get away this may need to be considered but there was plenty of rooms and there would be quiet rooms available so only need to ask. The drinks choice was really big with soft and alcoholic drinks and the local beer (Mahón) was very good but there were limited cocktails on the menu which maybe could be extended but personally I liked everything that was on offer and they do have a paid for price list for a larger range if you really wanted or were not all inclusive and the prices were really good especially for a hotel so some people may not like this but the fact that the choice was there, I thought was really good so all down to personal preference. We found beds sun beds easily all day every day no matter what time in mid July but I can imagine In the more family oriented months this may be a little more competitive but still plenty on offer. Overall - we absolutely loved this place and the choice it gave us for our travels. Big thank you to all the staff that work hard everyday for making our week so lovely. I highly recommend the west coast of Menorca to visit and this hotel. We would absolutely come back again (as had many people we spoke to) Well done Globales. 🥰
I came for a weeks holiday with a friend. We had a fabulous time. Resort exceptionally clean, food very good for an all inclusive and evening entertainment was excellent. The only slight disappointment was the lack of included cocktails but there were plenty of choices of spirits and mixers. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. I raved so much about it that my husband has now booked for us to return in early October and I can't wait!
First time at this hotel. We had stayed at sister hotel Cala Blanca which was very good. This hotel was even better. We had a Seaview room which had a lovely view to the sea and overlooked the main pool. Everywhere is spotless cleaners do an excellent job. Food was really good with different theme nights. I can't see how people complain about the food. Entertainment was okay, didn't enjoy the karaoke though bit of a let down. Sunbeds what can I say, we watched people running out at 6am to put towels down it was hilarious when we had thunder and lightening all there towels got soaked. All the staff were very pleasant. Will definitely return in the future for another great week. Thankyou to all the staff.
Just returned from our third visit to this hotel. We have had two beach holidays this year thus far but neither of them have compared to this hotel. We just love the vibe at this hotel, it’s so chilled and relaxing giving you the chance to properly unwind. We also feel very safe at this hotel travelling as two women. The room was great, very clean and has everything you need, bath, shower, fridge etc. Also a nice touch from the hotel leaving us with gifts on our return. I would definitely choose a sea view room as the view of the sunset is beautiful and you can also see all the entertainment from your balcony if you prefer. Good entertainment both day and night (bingo, singers, karaoke etc). We enjoyed the boy band group, Michael Jackson tribute and the acrobats. We also enjoyed watching and taking part in the aqua fit, the girls who led them were very energetic and made them so much fun. The staff are definitely the best asset of this hotel. They are all so friendly and always up for a chat/banter as they remember us from previous years. Very hardworking and nothing is too much trouble. They know how to make you feel special by remembering your favourite drinks etc. There is a nice little cove/beach across the road and a few shops and bars within walking distance. There’s a bus stop right outside and a tui rep to book excursions. Food is good, won’t be to everybody’s taste but always have pasta, chips, pizza etc for the more picky eaters. Overall we had such a great week and was sad to see it come to an end.
The hotel was on 4 levels and we were on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and sea which I think was one of the better rooms except for the ants 🐜 running around the floor. The lifts to the rooms are very small so if you’re at all cloister phobic then they are not for you. There was no information in the rooms regarding what’s included/ meal times/ TV so had to ask reception to photocopy the one they had at reception. The food in the restaurant was lovely with a nice selection and something for everyone. The pool area was ok apart from the usual idiots putting towels on sun beds at 5am. More sun-beds are urgently needed. The staff were pleasant apart from the man on the desk when we had to leave early due to a medical issue. All we got was a ok and a grunt as we handed him our room keys. The most friendly person we met at the hotel was the TUI rep. We have been to all inclusive hotels around the world and have to say that what is included in this hotel is very limited. I can’t say if this hotel would be for you as I have no idea what you would compare it to but for us, we think there are better.
I have just got back from a weeks stay here with my 5 year old son and parents. Where do I start? Rooms were very spacious and extremely comfy beds, lovely views (we were at the back of the hotel overlooking fields, and farmland, 6am sunrises) Food was plentiful. a great variety to suit everyone's requirements, only down side could of being hotter (personal preference, there is a microwave to accomidatate this). SUNLOUNGE WARS!!!!! there wasnt any 😀 this hotel is very well equipped. So no need for a 4am towel run All the Staff where amazing especially the pool bar girls Marie, Mar and the Scandinavian lady i cant remember her name 🥺. So warm and welcoming . All the pools are manned with lifeguards. My son learnt to swim without armbands this holiday and they was always on hand to offer encouragement and support with this. Carlitos who manned the main restaurant and bars always went above and beyond to make sure everybody was OK, aswell as Xavier. Animation girls work all hours but are always on top form and full of energy. I will 100% be returning and will recommend this to others
i loved the whole holiday, the experience, atmosphere, service and entertainment was great as its my 2nd time. However your karaoke night can sometimes be a very big failure
This hotel was perfect. Went as a group of 8 and had the best time. The food was good, the bar never had a queue. The staff were amazing and friendly, the atmosphere of the hotel was great including other guests chatting and saying hello every day too. Great walks to catch the sunset every night. Will definitely return.
Just returned from this hotel. There were 4 of us, and we had 2 rooms (right next to eachother). The rooms were very clean, as was the entire hotel. The staff were always very helpful and kind. There are a few different shops and restaurants dotted around the hotel, and it's a 5/10 minute journey in a taxi to Ciutadella, which costed under €10. The pool was always kept clean, and staff were quick to come and remove empty drinking cups etc from the sunbeds around the pool. There were enough sunbeds when we went (baring in mind we went out of school holiday time), but if you want one by the pool I would recommend waking up a tad early to get a good spot. In terms of the food, there was lots of choice and all the food looked very appealing, however the buffet was smaller than the last globales hotel we went to. If you are a picky eater like myself, then don't worry I assure you that you won't starve! Yes there were a couple of flies, but no more than you would find in a restaurant at home, I really think a couple of reviews may be over exaggerating the 'fly problem', but perhaps it depends on what time of year you go. Again, the staff in the restaurant were very quick to clear up plates that were finished with. If you are looking for a more chilled family getaway, this is the hotel for you. The animation team at the hotel were also absolutely amazing.
This hotel is very clean, the pool was very clean and the pool is better in real life than pics. All staff very helpfull and happy, good vibe around the hotel, mostly english, spanish and italian guests. Food was amazing although the restaurant feels small for amount of guests we never queued for long. A/l Drinks quite good, never queued for long at bar. Perfect beach with exellent cliff diving and snorkelling. Would definately return.
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. It's very relaxed, a nice bit if entertainment, good food and drinks, and the staff are amazing. It was really hot while we were there, and, as someone else has said - the sunbeds are on concrete with alot of glare. We moved onto the grass in the shade of the trees to cool off, but the lifeguards very politely told us we had to move off the grass as the director did not want us on there. They really could do with some more / better shaded areas for when it gets really hot. That's my only negative, other than that, it's a great place to stay.
Just returned from a week away, and we wish we could have stayed another week. Rooms so clean and comfortable, food was amazing, and the staff were so lovely. I will say the only negative I can say is selfish people putting towells on the sun loungers at 5am in the mornings.Choosing the same beds. And waking other holiday makers up. Banging around But hey hoo, I am returning. Evening entertainment is brilliant
We’re currently sat around the pool on our last day and wish we could stay a bit longer. Everything is perfect, the food is great with a good selection. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are friendly. One of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had. Please ignore the negative reviews it is perfect.
Our 3rd visit to this hotel. As most of the reviews say spotlessly clean everywhere comfortable rooms, we have never paid the extra for a sea view because the inland views are a nice view too. Plenty of food choice though have to say the quality is not as good as it was. For us the coffee and orange juice let the breakfast down a bit. Lovely people working here everyone of them. Plenty of sunbeds (if you want a particular place you have to be up early). Very little queueing for drinks in the evenings Brilliant location walk across the road to the beach lovely for a swim. Walks into Santandria and Sa-Caleta. For a change have a meal or coffee at Cala Blanca restaurant (on the beach,) very welcoming people and lovely food. My only gripe was we put our sunbeds under the trees it was very hot when we went and nice and cool in the trees but was told the director wanted us off, So the lifeguard very apologetically told us we had to move. There were people with young children trying to keep cool too but had to move. The majority of sunbeds are on concrete so the heat just bounces off while there is plenty of cool grassy areas . I think we would come again and would recommend it
Me and my wife had a lovely week, the staff very helpful room very clean and nice bed, the restaurant food plenty of choice drinks very good in all a very enjoyable time, we have been to other all in before and we would definitely go back. Many thanks to the management team
My experience at this hotel was heartbreaking. We booked through TUI We arrived at 11 pm and had to wait at reception half an hour until we were given a room because our flight were delayed. I sit outside with my son and had some food from the offered dinner, a waitress approached me and in a rude tone told me that I can’t eat outside, I told her that we just arrived and didn’t know and she said she don’t care. We were offered a room in front of the small swimming pool for kids. The room was full of mold, the toilet was defected because I could here the water liking all night. Next day I went to the reception to ask for another room and they said they don’t have any. Than we went to TUI representative, after a long talk they should as an underground room with no windows and narrow stairs, in the moment that they knew we have a toddler and a pushchair. We had to stick with our moldy room. Other people in the main building had normal rooms because one nice lady staying in the hotel showed me her room. The food was horrible, watermelon had taste of chlorine and my son got a food poisoning. Flies everywhere on the food. This is not a 4 star hotel this is a joke. Avoid at any cost if you don’t want your holiday ruined like was mine.
We’ve just had a 10 day holiday here and the only word to describe it is fantastic. Food was great rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were unbelievable. You can tell when a place has got everything right because the staff actually look like they are enjoying themselves while at work. Absolutely brilliant would definitely recommend and will probably be returning next year
Helpful staff Clean Efficient Food choice always suitable IN PARTICULAR THEY OFFER MEDIUM DINNER PLATES IN ADDITION.TO THE STANDARD LARGE ONES. THE CLEANLINESS OF THE PLATES WAS BETTER THAN MOST HOTELS Parking at 10euros per day was annoying but in this heat we were both glad we paid. We liked room 103
An honest review. We came as a couple and have been to plenty of all inclusive hotels all over Spin. This giving us a good insight to what 4* and 5* all inclusive hotels should be offering. We only go 4* and 5* as a rule but last year had a family emergency, meaning we needed to book a quick trip to Spain. It was a 3* with this company, and as 3* go it did what it said on the tin. Fast forward to this year we saw a great deal to Menorca plus this hotel was a 4* so was hoping for an even better experience. The good….. the hotel itself is very clean and the reception staff are always on hand if you need them. The area is very quiet but everything a walk or a max 10 minute taxi ride for a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately this is where the good starts and finishes. We booked 8 nights and in the whole time we have had one meal in the restaurant. I completely understand there is only so much a hotel can offer where breakfast is concerned but lunch and dinner can only be described as slop. Every single dish tastes exactly the same. Day In day out. It’s all cheap cuts off meat and to disguise this they put a sauce on it. The buffet is no where near big enough for the size of the hotel and the choice is just as small. If you like chips, rice and cheap meat and fish then maybe this is the hotel for you. But for us personally from reading the reviews was expecting something better than the same tasting dishes for our entire holiday. While here there was a musician for 3 evenings on entering the restaurant. I’m sure the money spent on this would have been better spent on creating better quality meals. We are not ones for reviews but felt the need in this case. This holiday wasn’t a silly price . But it was still £2000 of our hard earned money and feel you are totally misleading holiday makers as this hotel is no more than a 3* . We are really struggling to understand where all the amazing reviews have come from ? As this was one of the reasons we booked this. Also the reviews were saying the entertainment was top quality. We weren’t expecting a broadway show every evening but to sit and listen to what can only be described as a pub singer every evening really is poor. And with the area being so quiet if you don’t have the funds to get a taxi out. Then you’re pretty stuck. We understand drinks are watered down at all inclusive hotels but the choice again is very limited and cocktails from a carton. At other all inclusive hotels children are able to help themselves to ice cream/ ice lolly’s. They are kept behind the pool bar and I only found this out on our second to last day as I saw someone asking for one. The snack bar around the pool offers your standard burgers, chips, hotdogs. I couldn’t touch the burgers. For the simple fact I’ve never seen a beef burger that is cream in colour on the inside. So from that I’m guessing it’s never seen meat and wouldn’t even like to think what it’s actually made from. The snack bar however did have a platter of fruit. I took some melon to eat. One bite and all I could taste was onion. So again I’m guessing they have used the same chopping board/ knife to cut the onions and fruit. The snack bar however smelt like it needed a good clean. Yes they are serving up greasy food but the smell met you at the door , this was before you even got to look at the food. totally off putting. This well priced get away has ended up being expensive as we have eaten out every evening. We would have rather spent that money on a better hotel if I had know differently. We all live and learn. As far as we are concerned we would never book another hotel with this company as we feel it’s a complete waste of money. And if you actually gave the hotel the correct rating , expectations would be completely different.
Globles Mediterrani you never fail to amaze us. We have just come back from an amazing 10 day holiday ( our third trip to this hotel ) The hotel is absolutely spotless, the rooms are beautiful, cleaned everyday, fresh towels ,the food is amazing so much choice for everyone, the staff go above & beyond to make you feel very welcome. The pools are superb, enough sunbeds for everyone around the complex, brilliant entertainment of an evening ( even the karaoke)I really can't fault this hotel . We are already looking into booking this hotel again for next year. It's located in an ideal position, right by the little beach ,some lovely little bars either side of the beach, a few lovely spots to watch the sunsets, plenty of lovely bars, bus stop right outside the hotel ,Ciutadella is definitely worth a vsit as is Cala en Bosc, this year we also found the magical LA COVA DE S'AIGUA ( Caves ) literally 5 mins walk from the hotel which is definitely worth a visit, but you need to book this a few days before you go. It certainly never disappoints us
Clean hotel. Food hit and miss, but the biggest issue was one food station, so there was often a queue. Pool was nice but but music was a bit loud at times Life guard said we could not sit in a chair on the grass! Sun beds are also not allowed on grass
We have just returned from a weeks stay and we had a great time. The rooms were clean and spacious and we had a lovely sea view and view of the beautiful sunset. The food options were a bit limited but we always found something. The bar staff were lovely and we enjoyed the variety of drinks. The entertainment team were excellent, especially the lead (can’t remember her name!). Overall we had a great stay and would love to return in the future.
4th visit in about 7 years and enjoyed it immensely once again. We were upgraded to a suite and received a nice candle gift as an acknowledgment which was a lovely touch. The hotel is spotless, beautiful grounds, not too big but with plenty of atmosphere, the staff are all lovely, every last one of them should be commended, they are a credit to the hotel and to themselves. Local area is quiet but that’s what we like - there’s more there than you think if you look, but quiet, a bus trip to Ciutadella is a must. If we have one minor criticism, it’s that in this occasion we felt that food was slow to be replenished in the restaurant, the food is pretty varied and should be something for everyone, but at busy times it runs low quickly and really needs keeping on top of better. We saw some enjoyable evening entertainment, again, something for everyone . Lovely relaxed week and I’m sure we will return
We used to enjoy going to different places but since 2017 this hotel has been our destination of choice. This May we visited for the thirteenth time and it was not unlucky- it was good as it always has been. The whole feel of the hotel is friendliness based. The staff are awesome and the housekeeping staff are very helpful too. I notice improvements every year . The food is excellent and the array of choices is impressive. The quality of the in-house entertainment is really good and the free drinks choice is also brilliant. Special mention to the Bar staff lead by Joanna - and my friends Maribel
Bad reviews just don’t do this place justice - it is incredible! We have just got back from a weeks holiday and absolutely loved it. The hotel was immaculate, no faults whatsoever, the rooms were brilliant, the facilities and bar/restaurant were kept clean and we had everything we needed. Every member of staff was faultless and gave impeccable service. I am an incredibly fussy eater but found things to eat across all 3 meals every day, some days there was less options than others, but there was always something (and the puddings are incredible!) The hotel is a minutes walk from the beach and bars, in a very quiet location. We are not ones to get involved with evening entertainment however we the Michael Jackson tribute band put on a brilliant show! If you are looking for party vibes or multiple bars / club type places this is not the location for you, however this was just perfect for us as we do not like to party! We loved the quietness and safety of this location and will definitely be returning in the future!
Returned today from a week's holiday(6-13june) at this hotel. What a lovely weeks holiday And what a great place to stay. Everywhere is kept very clean and tidy. Rooms are good size beds are comfy and shower is good. We were in room 214 which overlooked the pool the gardens and could also see the sea, what a bonus. Pool area and all outside space was also very clean. Staff were friendly and the girls that run the aqua Zumba and aqua gym are great making it an enjoyable half hour. There was no problem finding an empty sunbed or table in the evening to watch the entertainment which wasn't to bad at all. Something for everyone. My only criticism about it is although the food was nice and tasty and always found something to eat. The food needs to be hotter than it was most of the time which was a shame but saying that it wouldn't put me off returning to this hotel. The area is reasonably quite which what we wanted so not masses of things around but there places you can walk in the evening if you like to. There are a few restaurants and bars about .You can also get great views of the sunset. My partner had a birthday while we were there and he had lovely surprise of a bottle 🍾 when we got back to our room. So in all a very pleasant week in a very nice hotel. Thankyou everyone there
The staff are absolutely amazing!!! They couldn’t do enough for us, it was our first ever holiday abroad and they made it so memorable that we are coming back in may this year 2025… food amazing… staff amazing and Menorca stunning xxx Bridget and team were fantastic. Myself and my son had never been abroad before and honestly were so nervous, however all staff at the Mediterrani make you feel so at home from the start…
Last minute trip to this hotel. It's lovely. Staff are great food and drink was ok. Room was amazing and great weather. We will be back again. Kids loved it and the pools were clean and area well maintained. Entertainment was good. Bus right outside to the lovely town and beach across the road
My wife and I wanted a quick last minute week away and stumbled across this hotel. First thing, checked the reviews which gave us confidence it'll be good. I've got to say we really did have a great holiday! The hotel is immaculate throughout, gardens and pool the same, every member of staff were super friendly and efficient in whatever field of their work. Evening entertainment was well balanced and varied throughout the week starting and finishing at convenient times. The restaurant is more than you could want, very varied menus the whole week, the staff were impeccable and did such a good job clearing up and ensuring we were catered for. Drinks menu also fine, loads of cocktails local beers and spirits. The local area is quite with a nice beach cove literally 5mins walk away with a couple of restaurants and an excellent scuba diving shop (I used for another dive) The local town Ciutadella is also well worth a visit with a nice local market, fishing port, restaurants, historical interest with a Cathedral and Convent. Its about 20mins drive and under €10 to get there or the local bus just outside the hotel. If you're looking for a great hotel in a quite area you won't be disappointed, I'd highly recommend this for families couples or singles, enjoy your holiday.
Back from another amazing stay at the Globales Mediterrani, our 2nd time this year. We stayed in one of the junior suites again which had a pool and part sea view. We were there the last week of the season and I was worried whether the food would be as good as our first time and despite some of the negative reviews recently regarding the food we found it just as good if not better than when we went in May/June. It can be a bit repetitive at times but mainly just at breakfast and lunch. But in the evenings they did different theme nights and was always great. The hotel itself is so clean and well maintained, daily maid service with fresh towels each day. The best part about this hotel though is all the wonderful staff. I’ve never experienced such friendly and hard working staff in a hotel. The 3 ladies who were on reception were always so helpful and asking if we were enjoying our stay. The bar/pool bar staff were lovely and welcoming. Shout out to Joanna who was so professional at dealing with a drunk customer who was being extremely rude and aggressive to another member of staff and she managed to calm down the situation instantly. The 3 lifeguards were incredible with my 2 children, one of them often played football with my son and one of the others generally being great and playing with both my children. The entertainment staff work incredibly hard keeping both kids and adults entertained. Olga especially was wonderful with my daughter and made all the kids feel special. The restaurant staff work so hard keeping the dining area spotless. They all seem to work long shifts. Carlos who works in the restaurant, bar area, pool bar area never seemed to stop working. Was always very friendly and welcoming to me and my family and often came over for a chat. That guy deserves a promotion! Already thinking of booking to come back next year hopefully depending on availability.
This is a tricky review! Firstly the most important part is that I had a fantastic week and anything negative on this review is just for the fact that I wouldn't class it as a 4* platinum as it was sold to us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room is clean, spacious, we had a lovely bathroom, the beds were comfortable, amenities for tea and coffee, a fridge to store drinks, everything you need from a room, however there was a connecting door to the next room which made me quite nervous. They assured me that next door did not have a key but I did worry if housekeeping or anyone else left it open so was constantly checking it was locked (so apologies to the people next door who would have noticed the door handle moving). Moving onto the food, it wasn't very good. I found the restaurant area to smell a bit hospital food like, there really was not much on offer. The snack bar with burgers and chips was a bit of a god send though and we ate out most evenings. The staff I found not to be very hospitable. The majority of them seemed quite rude and like I was really putting them out asking for a drink etc. The reception staff and the daytime entertainment staff were very good though. The pools were freezing, I did get in once but for October I wasn't overly surprised. I was a bit gutted there wasn't an inside pool. As everyone else has said, there is a massive fly problem in this hotel. They were on food and everywhere you sat outside, was just constantly covered in flies. The tables were not cleaned quickly enough with empty drinks glasses/plastics etc. so this obviously attracted them. The location is great, it is a short walk to the local shops and bars. The beach is a stones throw away and we did get the bus to Citudella which was lovely. Overall, I had a great week but I wouldn't return. If you are looking for a 3* hotel in a quiet location then this would be a great place for you.
Comfortable room, excellent facilities, lovely food.
Not a huge amount to do in the evening
Location is great. Close to the beach and bus stops and also a small local shop.
Hotel was very dirty! The rooms advertised on booking.com aren’t the rooms you get. We requested to change rooms twice and still the rooms we got were disgusting, thankfully it was just for 2 nights but I could wait to leave. The food was rubbish. Breakfast pastries were stale and though they were out of a packet and not freshly baked. The food was the same and nasty. Not worth my money at all.
