Belle piscine e intrattenimento giornaliero buono. Cene a volte buone a volte così così.... comunque sempre molta scelta, quindi qualcosa si trova. Frutta sempre disponibile e anche selezione di dolci. Bibite comprese. Buoni i cocktail 🍸 a pagamento.

- Good comfortable rooms - With the exception of 1 receptionist the rest of the staff was very friendly and nice. - Good location, surrounding restaurants near beach are pretty good.
- The food was below average and very inconsistent, first night it was practically inedible. Quality was somewhat better the following days, having a few standout dishes being quite tasty, but generally most others being quite average or below (and we really are not picky eaters). Overall eating experience wasn't great because of constant clankering of plates and utensils from wait staff and very noisy overcrowded rooms. - Parking was was free on the streets around hotel but spots are hard to find.
Todo y súper cómodo
We have just returned from a 4 night last minute break to this hotel and simply can't understand some of the negative comments. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from a beautiful sandy cove, with a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a supermarket within a few metres. The staff are all friendly, helpful and hard working, and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. There may not be a huge variety of food, but we found it all to be tasty, and almost always fully available, with the kitchen staff keeping everything stocked up, even towards the end of the sitting. It may not be the most luxurious 4 star you will find, but neither is it the most expensive. It also has certain restrictions in its all-inclusive package, but these are easily followed, and i would suggest that some people could perhaps temper their expectations to match the price they pay for their holiday. We would not hesitate to return.
Where do you begin when a hotel means this much to your family? We have just returned from our fourth family holiday at Globales Cala Blanca, following another wonderful 9-night stay, and once again we leave feeling incredibly grateful for the memories we have made. Quite simply, Globales Cala Blanca is a little piece of paradise. Menorca itself is beautiful, but what makes this hotel so special is the people. From the moment we arrive, we are welcomed like long-lost family rather than returning guests. There is a genuine warmth throughout the hotel that is impossible to manufacture — you can feel that the team truly care about their guests. And after seven visits, that feeling is even stronger. The People Make This Hotel. The entertainment team are exceptional. From morning until evening, there is an incredible range of activities for the whole family — rifle shooting, archery, cocktail games, pool activities and so much more. There is something for everyone, whatever your age, and the team have an amazing ability to encourage people to join in without ever making anyone feel pressured. Judith and Lucia are absolute stars. Warm, funny, friendly and incredibly enthusiastic, they have a wonderful way of putting everyone in the holiday spirit. Their energy is infectious, and they make the entertainment feel like a genuine part of the family holiday rather than simply an organised programme. A very special mention must go to Mayte. Quite frankly, Mayte is first class. She is a central pillar of the entertainment team and, in our opinion, a huge part of what makes the hotel so successful. Her leadership, organisation, enthusiasm and genuine care for guests shine through in everything the team does. The atmosphere around the hotel simply wouldn't be the same without her. 🍽️ Restaurant – Fantastic Choice & Wonderful Service The restaurant provides a different theme each evening, with a great variety of food and plenty of choice. Across nine nights, we always found something to enjoy, with enough variety to keep the whole family happy. And then there is Carolina, the maître d’. Carolina is the perfect example of what exceptional hospitality looks like. She is kind, professional, incredibly helpful and always seems to find a solution. In particular, she goes out of her way to help families sit together, something that makes a huge difference when travelling with a large family. Thank you, Carolina — your kindness is genuinely appreciated. The Bar Team – Always With a Smile The bar team work incredibly hard and yet somehow always manage to remain warm, friendly and welcoming. They work tirelessly to make sure everyone is served promptly while maintaining a high standard of service. Even when the bar is busy, there is always a smile and a friendly word. Gemma and Victor deserve a very special mention. They are standout members of the team who consistently go above and beyond. They genuinely seem to care about making sure guests are enjoying themselves, and their attention to detail and friendliness mean that you leave the bar with a smile. Those little interactions become part of the memories you take home. Reception – Nothing Is Too Much Trouble The reception team are welcoming, professional and incredibly accommodating. Whether you need something small, such as arranging a taxi, or something rather more significant — such as extending your stay because you simply don't want to leave — they are always willing to help. Mariabel, the head of the reception team, is exceptional. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure guests receive the highest possible standard of customer service. Nothing seems too much trouble, and she has that rare ability to make you feel that your request genuinely matters. Yes, We'll Be Back! The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and to a good standard, and the setting is simply beautiful. But after four visits, we know that the real magic of Globales Cala Blanca isn't something you can put on a facilities list. It's the people. It's seeing familiar faces when you arrive. It's being greeted with a smile. It's the Mayte and entertainment team getting the whole family involved. It's the bar staff remembering you. It's Carolina making sure families are looked after. It's Mariabel and the reception team always finding a way to help. It's the feeling that, even though you're hundreds of miles from home, you've somehow arrived somewhere familiar. That is why we keep coming back. Globales Cala Blanca isn't simply a hotel for our family anymore. It feels like our home away from home. To every single member of the Globales Cala Blanca team — thank you. Thank you for your hard work, your kindness, your smiles, your patience and for everything you do behind the scenes to make people's holidays so special. Our seventh visit has given us another nine nights of wonderful memories, laughter, sunshine and familiar faces. And, unsurprisingly... We're already looking forward to next year. Until then, thank you for another unforgettable family holiday. Globales Cala Blanca — a hidden paradise on a blissful island, made truly special by an exceptional team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars without hesitation.
Our holiday July 2026 to menorca. Myself and my son 15 ASD. Through tui , travel agent sold us a dream absolutely excited for our holiday as everyone knows its not cheap . On arrival of the hotel first impression was dated not welcoming rushed check in . We head to our room in very small lift very slowly, outside of lift the floor tiles were cracked and broken large light fitting dirty and broken large class panels were dirty hand prints all over. Carpets were not cleaned stains on walls our door paint was chipped. The room was small it was clean missing curtain panels bathroom tiles had black stains bath hooks broken large bits of poly filler where tiles had broken, glass shower panel not safe especially with children. This was sold as a 4 star hotel it definitely wasn't 3 at best . The restaurant was nothing more than a canteen to small flies on food ,cheeses and meats and breads . They serve snacks in the afternoon, but the kitchen staff one day decided to start taking the equipment apart and turned the hot plates off so food cold . We were there for 10 days bedding changed twice and towels maybe 3 times. The pool certainly wasn't big enough sunloungers dated some ripped, sun umbrellas were mix of old and new ones. The stairs were old unsafe. If you wanted pool towels they were 10 euros each deposit and 1 euro each per day for a clean one back which isn't standard for a 4 star hotel. Location was good bus transport was excellent and the taxis were fair prices. Nightly entertainment was good but not one for long there was pool activities but nothing really for teenagers to do. The cocktails listed were very poor bar staff were hit and miss being polite. The entertainment staff excellent especially Mayte 10 stars and the tui rep Rafael 10 stars and he was the only reason for us staying. Forgot to mention the beach was lovely bit more than a short walk had excellent places to eat and drink very friendly. I wouldn't return to the hotel, and it did upset myself and my son as this was supposed to be our dream after a very tough last year.
Just arrived home after a 4 night break at this hotel, sad to say that I’m glad it was only 4 nights. So good things - double room with sea view was nice, though small, was clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel its self is very clean and the staff work hard and are friendly. Gemma in the bar was lovely as was the TUI Rep, Rafael. The location suited us, quiet and near a lovely little beach cove with a small number of bars and restaurants with stunning sunsets. Not so good things - the food was a let down, not a great variety and very, very much like a canteen vibe. The lunches were better than the evening meal, which I found odd. The food overall lacked variety, I understand that is it a family hotel but let’s be a bit more creative than chips, nuggets, mashed potatoes and some boiled veg, though saying that some of the salads were ok. While we were there, there was a Mexican themed night, which was the best food over our short stay. Water - this was perhaps the biggest issue for me. I totally appreciate that the hotel is working towards reducing single use plastics/green/environmental issues and I have been in plenty of hotels where you are given a couple of bottles of water when you arrive and then you refill them from water stations. However this hotel does not get this right - you are given one small bottle of water each in the room and then told you can refill them - the hotel has only one water refilling station in the whole of the hotel which is in the main bar area, which is only open from 10 am until about 12am. There should be more water stations in a hotel this size, at least one on each floor of the hotel and another in the reception area, and be accessible 24/7. This is very important as the weather was really hot when we were there. Yes, you can get water in the restaurant but it’s says that you shouldn’t use these dispensers to fill bottles. Also had to ask for a couple more as the room cleaner threw away ours from our room - they weren’t in the bin, but just on the side, empty. We were given a couple more but was told, quite sternly not to throw them away again - we didn’t, the cleaner did! The food, the canteen like restaurant and the water issue definitely makes this hotel feel like less than a 4 star and a bit ‘cheap’ to be honest.
My husband and granddaughter stayed at the Globales Cala Blanca for a week 18/07/26. Staff were very friendly on arrival and room was available immediately. The room was pool facing and although very small was very clean and the view was beautiful. Long hanging space is very limited with none available in the wardrobes. There were 3 small hooks on the side of the wall that you could hang dresses on but they were very short in length so dresses for myself and granddaughter were squashed together and creases couldn't drop out. There are big 'light' boxes next to the bed which look lovely but don't really serve a purpose. I'd rather have a bedside cabinet with more drawer space and a light on the ceiling. The Aircon didn't feel great on entry but was absolutely fine and much needed as temps reached 31 degrees at 8.30pm. Pool area was spotless with a bigger pool and a baby pool. Plenty of sunbeds with no need to get up at the crack of dawn. Staff are friendly and the food is very good with plenty of choice. They don't have a child section but that didn't affect us as we all eat a healthy, varied diet. Snacks aren't that great, burgers , hot dogs and fries that didn't look appealing to me. I've not used a drinks token system before and found it a brilliant idea to stop waste and mess round the pool. One thing not a good idea was limiting drinks to 2 each bar visit which they were very strict on. We always had to make an extra journey back to the bar for the third drink. Perhaps limit the drinks to the amount of people per paid booking .. especially when the 3rd drink we needed was a soft drink. There was a lady on her own with 2 small girls .. she had to take both children to the bar each time, leaving the table to be taken by someone else whilst she was gone or leave one at the table outside on their own. Not ideal really. The entertainment team were absolutely brilliant and really do deserve a special mention. They were encouraging without being pushy and always had a huge smile and a lovely greeting. They're the jewel in the crown of the hotel. The entertainment in the hotel was very good too with groups and shows which were great fun. The little cove is pretty and nice for a beach day. There isn't too much around the area but you can wander up to the commercial centre where there are a few bars and restaurants. Cituadella is a bus ride away from the bus stop outside the hotel. Lastly I had no idea that the hotel let the general public in for the day if they paid a fee. Another guest advised me to keep a close eye on my granddaughter as there were random people parking their cars outside and coming and going each day using the pool and restaurant without wristbands. This wasn't something I was aware of on the TUI page. We had a lovely holiday and with a couple of tweaks it could be a brilliant place. I think it's more a 3 star than 4 at present but still very enjoyable.
We stayed here for a week in July as a family of 4 (3 adults and 1 child), and overall we had a good holiday, but there were definitely a few things that stopped it from being a great one. First, the positives. The staff were genuinely lovely throughout our stay - always polite, friendly and happy to help. The hotel itself was spotless, with the cleaning team doing an excellent job every day. One thing the hotel absolutely got right was the all-inclusive drinks system during the day. Every guest was given a token at check-in, which you exchanged for a reusable glass at the bar. You could only have a maximum of two drinks per person at any one time, and honestly, it worked brilliantly. It meant people were only ordering what they were actually going to drink, rather than holding up the queue by ordering six gin and tonics “for the family” at 11am. The queues moved quickly, there was far less waste, and everyone got served much faster. At the end of the day, you simply handed your glasses back, collected your tokens, and repeated the process the next morning. Interestingly, the token system wasn’t used in the evening, but during the day it was one of the best all-inclusive systems I’ve come across. Now for the bits that had us scratching our heads… The air conditioning deserves its own review. Calling it “air conditioning” feels generous - it seemed to produce more dry air than cold air. Most mornings I woke up feeling like I’d spent the night in the Sahara, complete with a blocked nose and congestion. My sinuses have probably earned loyalty points. If you enjoy an early morning, you’ll love the sunbed situation. If you don’t… you’ll quickly learn that 8am is considered a lie-in. Unless you were out there before breakfast with a towel in hand, your chances of getting a bed were about the same as winning the lottery. A word of warning if, like us, you prefer one of the garden sunbeds rather than being packed in around the pool. The sprinklers seem to finish their morning shift somewhere between 7:30 and 7:45am. We discovered this the hard way on our first morning when they absolutely KO’d my book. Don’t worry, I wasn’t actually planning on reading it. It had been promoted to the very important role of “sunbed reservation device.” Consider this your public service announcement: wait for the sprinklers before deploying your towel… and your sacrificial paperback. The pool is also trying its very best, but it’s simply too small for the number of guests. At busy times it felt less like swimming and more like participating in an organised game of human Tetris. There also weren’t enough tables or bins around the pool. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it did mean you spent half the day balancing empty cups, ice cream wrappers and other bits of rubbish on your sunbed until you either left the pool or made a trip to the toilet where you could finally find a bin. A few more bins dotted around the pool area would make life much easier and save everyone from becoming the designated family rubbish holder! The food was a bit of a tale of two meals. Lunch was consistently the standout, with plenty of choice and some really tasty options. Dinner, however, was a bit more of a lucky dip. I quite enjoy trying different foods, so I usually found something I liked, but not everyone in our group was as adventurous. On a few evenings, the choices felt quite limited for those who prefer more familiar food, and they struggled to find something they really wanted. One important public service announcement for any fellow sangria lovers: don’t make my mistake. For six nights I happily helped myself to red wine, completely unaware that the sangria was hiding on tap… at the opposite end of the restaurant near the bread station. Apparently, one drinks dispenser was Team Red Wine, while the other was secretly Team Sangria. I only discovered this on my final night and, quite frankly, I felt robbed. Hopefully, this review saves someone else from suffering the same tragic fate! One thing that really stood out was the lack of alcohol-free drink options. If you don’t drink alcohol (or you’re a child), the choice was pretty uninspiring. It was mostly the usual fizzy drinks or water, with very few mocktails or more interesting soft drinks available. It would have been nice if non-drinkers could enjoy something that felt a bit more like a holiday treat too, rather than watching everyone else sip colourful cocktails while you’re on your fifth Kas Lemon of the day. The Wi-Fi deserves an honourable mention. I wasn’t expecting fibre broadband, but I did hope I’d be able to load the news before tomorrow’s headlines arrived. It was painfully slow most of the time. The hotel only has one lift serving everyone, so unless you’re training for a stair-climbing competition, expect to spend a fair bit of your holiday waiting for it. The evening entertainment was a bit of a mixed bag. Paying extra to play bingo after already paying for an all-inclusive holiday felt a little cheeky. Not only did you have to buy your bingo tickets, but if you hadn’t packed a pen in your suitcase (because, let’s be honest, who thinks to bring one on holiday?), you also had to pay for a pen! It all started to feel less like holiday entertainment and more like a fundraising event. It would have been nice if more of the evening animation activities were included as part of the all-inclusive experience. As football fans, we were also disappointed that the World Cup final wasn’t shown. We were on holiday in Spain… where Spain were actually playing in the World Cup final… and yet the hotel wasn’t showing it. That seemed absolutely criminal! It felt like opening a cinema on Christmas Day and deciding not to show Home Alone. It was such a missed opportunity to create an incredible atmosphere and bring all the guests together. Finally, a small but memorable point: the toilet paper. Let’s just say it had all the softness of tracing paper and I’ll leave it there. Despite all that, we still enjoyed our holiday thanks to the fantastic staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. With a few improvements, better air conditioning, more sunbeds, a larger pool (or fewer guests!), faster Wi-Fi and perhaps investing in toilet paper that doesn’t feel like sandpaper, this hotel could be a real winner.
We arrived midday on the Monday and had to wait an hour as our room wasn’t ready. This was quite frustrating as we wanted to freshen up after a long journey. Once we did get the room we were pleased and it was clean throughout the stay. The buffet was a bit disappointing. There were flies over the food and it felt a bit like school dinners. There wasn’t much fresh fruit and the drinks weren’t great either - we mostly stuck to water. The pool area could do either a bit of updating. We also struggled to get a sunbed as other guests would put their towels out early and leave them there all day/night. The only other frustration was the cost of the safe - quite pricy in my opinion. Overall, a bit disappointing and I would rate more a 3* than 4*
We have just come back from a lovely week at this hotel ( two adults and two teens) . Check in was quick and easy..you do pay tourist tax and the safe was expensive, but you get €10 back when you return the key. Our room was a family room on the third floor..there was a separate room with two twin beds and then another room with a double bed. The bathroom was dated but clean and we had no issues with water pressure. We had two balconies, which looked over the front of the hotel and also had a side view of the sea in the distance. In the evenings they train horses in the field opposite and we enjoyed watching them. The room was quiet and the cleaning was good. There is only one lift for the entire hotel and it only takes two or three people at a time. However, we never seemed to wait for lifts even during busy times. At first glance the restaurant seemed very small and cramped, but the staff are so efficient at clearing tables and seating people and they are constantly replenishing food as items get low and cleaning the food stations. I felt it was better organised than in some larger hotels we have been to. Carolina who manages the restaurant, is brilliant at her job and makes it all run like clockwork. The food was amazing...there are different themed nights and my favourites were the local, tapas and the mexican nights. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every meal we had here and I am already missing the gazpacho!!! The pools were lovely and so warm. There is a paddling pool and a main pool that starts shallow and gets deeper. Inflatables were allowed when we were there. Beds around the pool go early , but there are plenty of beds to be found in the gardens no matter the time of day. The animation team here made the holiday for us. Mayte and the two other girls ( Judith and Lucia?) are so friendly and welcoming to everyone and we got involved with most of the games during the day and the entertainment in the evening. By the end of the week, you feel like you are with family. The entertainment at night was a mini disco, bingo and then an act ( singers, acrobats etc). The Tina Turner show was absolutely brilliant!! The bar staff worked hard and queues were minimal and moved quickly. The drinks included as part of the AI were fine for us and the token system during the day, makes sense as it keeps people from leaving empty cups around the pool. There aren't many shops nearby, just a supermarket, but it is only a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach and the bus stop outside the hotel has buses running to Cituadella every hour ( about 20mins journey). Cituadella is beautiful and worth the visit. Overall we had a brilliant week here and are definitely thinking of booking a return visit for next July..there are lots of repeat visitors at this hotel and I can completely see why.
Hotel is quite standard. We paid a reasonable price, but we are aware there were other guests who paid quite a lot more, which we would’ve been disappointed in paying. The all-inclusive is bare minimum, there seems to be a lot of rules, for example pool snacks have to stay in the restaurant with no other options of snacks like fruit, ice cream without sitting for lunch. Three cocktails included, not able to have more than three drinks at one time (even if you’re a family of 4 and having 4 soft drinks). Location is nice, a few lovely bars 5 mins away next to the beach, bus is convenient. Felt like a lovely balance of touristy and for locals. Rooms are fine, clean and housekeeping are great. Air con is rubbish, really poor. Generally good room size. Entertainment, bingo and lots of games going on every day. The two ladies who ran is were lovely, they really stood out in the hotel. Staff were pleasant enough. We were not told until the last day we can use the facilities for the larger Mediterrani hotel 5 minutes away, which looks lovely. Nice enough for a short break, it doesn’t feel like 4 star rave reviews like we’ve seen. Very average but pleasant.
El trato del personal, tanto de la recepción, del bufet y del bar del hotel, ha sido muy buena. El hotel tenía muy buena ubicación, a menos de 500 metros se encontraba Cala Blanca y a 8 minutos el puerto del ferry y Ciutadela.
We have nothing but positive feedback for this hotel. We had such a lovely time away. I guess you get back what you put in! The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. There was so much on offer at meal times, I’m confused by the comments stating otherwise as I’m not sure what more they could offer. They do themed nights for dinner which was fun too! The rooms are spotless, the cleaners work so hard, in fact all of the staff do. The entertainment stuff were enthusiastic and fun and the bar staff were great too! It is a quiet area but only a short walk from a beautiful beach, bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. The tax was expected as that’s generally common knowledge but also stated when booking. We will be back - absolutely zero complaints from us!
Pulizia, personale cortese, servizi eccellenti
My wife and I have just returned from a pleasant 2 week holiday at the Casa Blanca. Our holiday didn't get off to the best of starts. We had booked, and paid extra for, a room with a pool view. Unfortunately, we were allocated room 141, which didn't have a pool view at all. Before unpacking, I returned to the reception to question why, only to be told that the hotel was fully booked and they would try and resolve the issue the following day. So we unpacked most of our clothes in order to hang them up to avoid further creasing. Then, suddenly, our room phone rang,to be told that they had found us a pool view room, so, obviously, we had to pack everything back up! But still, credit to the staff for sorting the issue quickly. It's true what many reviewers have said, that the hotel is in a quiet area with only a few bars and shops around. But we knew this, as we had done some research before we booked. People who complain about it being too quiet have only themselves to blame for not researching beforehand! It suited us fine, as we like to go out on long walks, and were more than happy to walk to Cala'n Bosch, Ciutedella and Cala'n Forcat, areas with a few more shops, bars and restaurants. We found the room to be comfortable, a lovely King sized bed, good aircon, a kettle and a TV that worked most of the time, I think the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. The bar staff, restaurant staff, the cleaners and the animation team were all very friendly. I've dropped a star because I feel the food could have been hotter and more varied, also, there never seemed to be any ice for the drinks in the restaurant. I appreciate that we ate fairly late, about 8.30pm, but surely, the ice should be getting replenished. On the few days we didn't go out walking, we always managed to get sunbeds on the grassy area, as this is our preferred location. All in all, we had a very nice stay, but probably wouldn't return, as we feel we have seen all there is to see in the surrounding areas.
Just returned from one week's holiday with my 16yr old. Lovely relaxing stay though won't be returning. On arrival, €46 euros for tax Safe €43 +€10 deposit (expensive, most hotels are €15) Room -located on 3rd floor, quiet, clean and air con. Food- not much choice and not all labelled. not much choice for kids. Service- not the friendliness of staff. One of the bar staff was very rude and abrupt. Drinks- not much choice in way of all inclusive drinks, and operated on a token system. Pool- busy, not very clean. People not showering before entering. Managed to get sunbeds if you turn up early. Location- 5 min walk to the beach, small and busy. Visited Cala Den Bosch whilst there, 10 mins on the bus €3.40 for 2 one way... bigger beach, a marina and a few more bars/souvenir shops Not much to do around cala blana, small resort, which is ok if youre not planning to do much. Entertainment- could be better. On the whole would this as a 3*
Chambre très propre et fonctionnelle, belle terrasse. Buffets variés et de qualité.

Pleasant stay, but there are better all-inclusive options for the price. Overall, I had the relaxing holiday I wanted and enjoyed my week here. The hotel has plenty of repeat visitors, which clearly says something, but having stayed at a number of all-inclusive hotels, I do think there are better options available for a similar price. I booked a pool view room and was allocated Room 101. While you can technically see the pool, I'd describe it more as a restaurant roof view than a pool view. The beach is only a short walk away. During the day it's small, busy and unfortunately there's a large pile of rotting seaweed that doesn't smell great. However, if you're an early riser, it's absolutely beautiful for a swim at around 7am before everyone arrives. Pros • Quiet at night – the bar closes at midnight, so it's easy to get a good night's sleep. • Plenty of entertainment if you want to join in, although it's equally easy to ignore. The aqua aerobics was always great fun. • No problem finding a sunbed. • Fast, friendly bar service. • Bus stop to Ciutadella is directly outside the hotel. • Supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. • Excellent air conditioning. • Housekeeping was efficient every day. Cons • Reception staff were efficient but not especially welcoming. • You have to pay to use the room safe. I've travelled extensively and genuinely can't remember the last time I had to pay extra for one. • Pool towels require a deposit (I'd read this beforehand so brought my own). • Saw flies landing on food in the buffet. • The buffet felt a bit like a school canteen and the food quality was mixed - I chose to eat out a couple of evenings. • Very limited choice of fresh fruit. • Drinks by the pool require either handing over a token or returning your reusable cup each time. • Only one small bottle of water was provided in the room on arrival and it wasn't replenished. No complimentary soft drinks or beer in the fridge either. • Wi-Fi was extremely poor. I ended up using 5G for my entire stay but heard off another guest there was another step you needed to take if you were on an iPhone • No complimentary ice creams during the day unless you had dessert at lunch or dinner – otherwise you have to buy them. • Witnessed a bit of anti-social behaviour – rinsing sand covered flip flops in the hotel pool when there’s pool side showers and towels on loungers at 8am but only came to sit on them after 2pm One final point really let the hotel down. The day before I left, I asked reception about somewhere to shower before my evening flight. The shower booking sheet for the following day was completely empty, so I booked the 2pm slot. When I arrived at reception, I watched the key for the shower room being handed to a couple. Instead, I was taken to the fourth floor, then up two further flights of stairs, past what seemed to be dozens of dead flies, to what looked like a former massage room with a shower cubicle. There was no lock on the door, no toiletries, no hairdryer and the entire floor was completely deserted. It felt very strange and, if I'm honest, rather unsettling and creepy up there. It certainly wasn't the shower facility I'd been expecting and left a disappointing final impression. Despite the negatives, I did have a relaxing holiday and met some really lovely people there. If your priorities are a quiet hotel, easy access to Ciutadella and spending your days by the pool, you'll probably enjoy it. Just be aware that, in my opinion, there are better all-inclusive hotels offering better food and facilities for similar money.
We travelled here, 2 adults and 2 16 year olds in the middle of July, literally just about to leave after a weeks stay. All of the previous reviews seem fair if I’m honest and really they are based on personal opinion but what we can say is that it’s average. It’s a very quiet place with not much to do, if you like that sort of thing that’s great but if you’re more active don’t bother. Lots of pros and lots of cons which everyone has covered, for us the food was ok, plentiful and tasty. The rooms clean and tidy. Pool area could do with improvements (decking area shocking, any builder or in the trade you will spot this right away, very bouncy) entertainment is what you would expect but tamed down a little from other all inclusive places, quiet, random times like start water polo at 5pm and other games around this time. The team are also not the friendliest, Judith in particular we found very rude along with some bar staff, inexperienced I would put this down to, not welcoming and only target certain guests. Overall wouldn’t come back but not a bad week in the sun.
Apologies to those regulars at this hotel if my review upsets you – we know because some of you were very loud telling everyone how many times you have stayed at Globales Cala Blanca, but we will not be going back. There are a couple of plus points dotted around in this review, see if you can spot them ... If following this review, the hotel respond saying “thank you for highlighting these things we will certainly look into them” then do not believe it. Most of these issues were highlighted to the hotel while we were there and they did nothing at all about any of them. This hotel is All Inclusive to the bare minimum – they provide what they have to provide to call it all inclusive and not a thing more! The arrival at hotel reception was very poor, it was just 2 of us, so no crowds, no friendly greeting from the receptionist, no welcome drink, we were not made to feel at all welcome, it was a case of going through the motions. We were given a piece of paper with meal times on it and that was about it. We had to go back to reception later to ask about pool towels, wifi and to get someone to fix our television. We also asked about the room safe but the money they wanted for 10 days it would probably have been cheaper to buy new passports if the were stolen! We did notice later that on some days they had brought a drinks trolley into reception, maybe to offer a welcome drink to new arrivals – but it was only an alcoholic drink on offer so no good for non drinkers or children There is wifi throughout the hotel but it is very weak and incredibly slow, so to ensure the best reception you probably need to loiter around the reception area. On occasions the televisions in the room freeze, we were there at the start of the world cup 2026 and these instances were most likely when so many people were watching the football in their rooms at night. We had no issues with hot water in the shower or water pressure but we spoke to couples on the 1st floor who said taking a shower was at times dangerous because the water was so hot of switched between hot and very cold. Our room was on the third floor at the front of the hotel which was quiet, just what we wanted, the room was clean and the beds comfortable and cleaners unobtrusive. However the hotel only has one lift (no service lift?) so on more than one occasion the lift doors opened and a member of housekeeping was there with a full trolley of laundry leaving no space for guests! We had 2 bottles of water in our fridge when we arrived. After a couple of days I asked when these would be replaced as we had drunk them. I was advised we could buy more from the vending machine or refill them from the water dispenser but they would not be replaced. The food in the restaurant, and there is only one restaurant, was on most occasions very poor. Labelling of the food for allergens was very slap dash, even dangerous at times. Some food had no labels at all, some labels were in the wrong placeOn more than one occasion I questioned if an item was gluten free, they looked at it, checked online and miraculously the label changed in front of me, warning me it contained gluten! But they did manage to serve chicken Paella which had no chicken in it, lamb tagine that several people warned us not to touch as it was all bone and gristle, a pork dish that had an excessive amount of salt in it – maybe to try and cover up the poor quality of the meat. A chicken dish that was all bone , skin and cartlidge and sat for over an hour with no one touching it at all. Prawn Avocado that were tiny and had one prawn in and jelly you could drink – they removed this from display when I pointed that out. I felt sorry for the staff as they advised they got to eat what we did not – no wonder they are all quite slim! One random question – why are most hotels abroad, but particularly Spain, unable to do bacon? They call it bacon but we all know it's a poor excuse for it Staff were slow to clear tables on occasions, some worked exceptionally hard whilst others.... Well done to Carolina though who was always friendly, helpful and had a smile. So good that she will probably find somewhere better to work with less hassle if she tries. The drinks available on All Inclusive were very limited (copy of drinks menu attached). You could drink as much beer as you wanted all day but if you wanted, or in my case being Coeliac, a gluten free beer then you had to pay for it! A very limited selection of cocktails too and only 2 drinks per person at any one time. No ice creams available from the bar unless you paid for them, if it's ice cream you want you have to get it at lunch or dinner time in the restaurant or again in the restaurant during snack time. But woe betide you if you put some in a paper cup and try to take it outside – they will rugby tackle you and tell you you cannot do that. Let's head outside where it's not generally too difficult to get a sunbed (June so the hotel isn't full) or an umbrella. However well over 50% of the sunbeds are well past their best, the seams on the material is stretched and splitting meaning that when laying on them you are directly on top of the supporting metal bars. There is also a problem with people reserving sunbeds in the morning and then not appearing until late afternoon. None of the tables around the pool were wiped or cleaned ever (actually we cleaned a different one every day) and had sticky residue from spilt drinks etc over them. The pool area around the edges was very grubby, the edges of the terrace particularly, but it was obvious why when seeing a person with a hose come out in the early evening and splash water around, the hose is not long enough to reach the edges and no effort is made to sweep or clean – just to splash water around and wet the terrace. We also witnessed two people with strimmers using them around the bar decking and pool areas at about 7pm one evening while people were sitting drinking and still sunbathing. Has anyone witnessed the damage a stone being flicked up by a strimmer does when it hits a person? As for the outside bar decking...Sitting in most places on this decking and trying to have a drink is like being on deck onboard a ship in rough seas and if anyone walks by close to your table hold onto your drink or it's likely to fall over. The supports under the decking are clearly rotting or in need of additional support and I would be very surprised once the hotel is at capacity if the decking survives the season without collapsing. On a big plus, we were up early to depart on our final day and met Gisela on reception. She was excellent and rather surprised and disappointed when we said we would not be back. Also well done to Rafael the TUI rep who always had a smile and would try to help but is on a hiding to nothing when hotel management do not care. There lies the crux of the problem at this hotel, management are invisible and clearly do not care, guests keep paying and coming through the door so why change anything? Reviews like this will not change anything but at least you can't say you were not warned if the read this and then book a holiday here
The hotel was incredibly comfortable, with incredible chicken both lunch and dinner great for protein. The beach is only a 2 minute walk with a gorgeous sunset, the receptionist tania was incredibly helpful who explained all the tourist options in incredible detail. The pool is lovely and warm with underwater exercise, the beds are comfortable with lots of room in the hotel aswell, when we arrived it was spotless, overall an incredible experience for us as guests.
Spent a week here with our grown up children. I would most definitely give the entertainment ladies, Maria-Theresa, Lucia and Judith 5 out of 5 stars. They are absolutely amazing, so friendly, chilled out and work very hard. We loved joining in with the activities, met some lovely fellow competitors 😁 the aqua dance and aqua fit was such fun, the music was great. 😁 Because of the heatwave that week, the pool felt like a hot tub by the end of our week. 🤣🤣 Pool/seaview room was lovely, had all you needed, was very quiet at night. You're not going to starve on the AI, however it did sometimes feel like it needed a little more for a 4 star hotel. One of us Vegan, and we asked numerous times what was on offer, we were told the labels would say, however some didn't have labels or didn't seem convincing that they were Vegan. So a lot of chips and salads and fruit was eaten. 😳 No sweet/desserts, like a plant based yoghurt. We did ask the chef if we could have some plain pasta one evening, and he showed us the pasta on offer, which was covered in cheese. The mimosa's were delicious for breakfast. 🥂 The out of a bottle pre-made cocktails didn't feel like a 4 star either, these were also served in the evening. However the beer San Miguel was lovely and the Cava. You could refill water bottles and ask for ice. 😁 Evening entertainment, we saw the Rock Duo they were amazing, and the two guys singing and guitar were good, had some bingo fun. Although we would probably not return because of the lack of food choices. I would recommend it to others as Overall, it is a beautiful hotel set in the most lovely quiet safe setting, we went in June, so only a few little kids around so didn't ever feel busy, the staff are friendly if you show them some friendliness and acknowledgment, it's 5 minutes walk to the beach cove, 30 mins walk to the next Cove, both with bars and restaurants, the sunsets are definitely worth a wander along the front, they are amazing 😍
We stayed at this hotel last year, and whilst we've often said we'd go back to different hotels, we never have. Until this one! There is something so very special about this place. There is alot of repeat bookings here which says everything, so this time we saw people we already knew. It was like going to a local pub, where you know everyone and everything is familiar, and those you don't know you'll get to know. It was the same with the staff, and it was so lovely that they recognised us and us them. The hotel is super clean, so poolside, rooms, dining rooms and bar area are all looked after and feel welcoming. The food was really great, and being coeliac, they made provisions for me for gluten free bread, etc, with a toaster just for that bread. There were themed evenings, such as Oriental, Italian, Mexican, alongside very Spanish dishes. The salad bar was incredible. It would take a very fussy eater to not enjoy the food here, and we definitely loved it. A special mention to Mayte, Judith and Lucia, the entertainment ladies, who were incredible. They organise and deliver events through the day, such as boules, archery, aqua dance and shoolin, plus sort out the bingo and live events in the evening. They are all super enthusiastic, really friendly, always have time to chat, and full of happy energy that is infectious and makes everyone want to take part. They are the heartbeat of this hotel, and it would feel too quiet without them. Cheers, ladies! There is a rep based in the hotel (Rafael) who was lovely. We didn't need to arrange trips this time as we'd done that last year, but he did help us with places to visit with our hire car. Definitely go to Cuitadella, Mahon, Binibeca, El Toro mountain pass and some of the beaches. Buses are cheap and stops outside the hotel for Cuitadella. To go to Mahon, head for Globales Mediterani, turn right then at the roundabout right again to pick up the bus on the main road. We absolutely loved coming back, and we'll be back again so see staff and guests who we regard as friends now. Thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful.
3rd visit and was not dissapointed again warm welcome room was not ready for an hour but went and sat on decking to have drink while we waited felt we were home for a week so many faces we had seen on previous visits staff and holidaymakers. It is such a nice chilled place lovely pool rooms clean nice size bar area and entertainment area good size, mayte and animation team fantastic as always bar staff excellent never long to get a drink reception staff alwats helpfull food for everyone its all inclusive so theres always something to choose overall excellent as always thank you globales cala blanca once again and see you soon! frank and jane .
A great stay at a great hotel. A warm welcome and able to access All Inclusive food, drink and amenities even though was early arrival which was very welcome after early flight. The room was good size with very comfy bed, fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, large balcony and good air con. All kept very clean by friendly maids. Always able to find sunbeds and parasols by the pool or in the gardens. Friendly daytime activities and evening entertainment. Short walk to the beach or bus stop outside hotel if you wanted to go further. Food was very good with lots of choices, drinks local brands and very good but with option of paying if you wanted perticular brand. A quiet resort in a mainly residential area no loud lively clubs and bars nearbly so if you want a comfortable relaxing holiday i would definetly recommend this hotel. We will be returning.
Lovely hotel with amazing staff on a very pretty island. Special shout out to Tui Rep, Raphael who was amazing. We had issue with room and although could not be sorted for a couple of days as hotel was full, he kept contact with us and we were moved to another room. Got to say the Manager was spot on too, very friendly and even after we were moved, kept asking us if everything was okay. Food and drink good, plenty of choice. Bacon at breakfast wasn't great but we found a great place to eat called Restaurant Cala Blanca a few minutes walk away, overlooking pretty cove, which serves a beautiful English breakfast for £7.99. A trip to Ciutadella is worthwhile, bus stop outside the hotel and also Cala'n Bosch (bus stop about 10 min walk, not far past Mediteranee hotel. Had a lovely breakfast at La Fontana (overlooking marina). Entertainment on an evening was what you'd expect (not for us but most people seemed to enjoy it). We would head out after dinner to the seafront and have a few drinks at The Blarney Stone (if you can get a seat) or at Il Vespro (restaurant adjacent but often easy to get a table just for drinks), lovely spot to watch the sun set. The staff work incredibly hard at this hotel to make your stay enjoyable. We always put a couple of euros in the tip tins whenever we ate in restaurant or got a drink but it's amazing how many people don't, which I find odd as most people would tip if they went for meal or drink outside the hotel!
Second time at this hotel, We stayed from 10th to 24th June as two couples in our 50s. I could almost copy and paste from last years review however, This time round we had a pool and seaview room on the 2nd floor. The room as before was spotless with a kettle, Fridge, Hairdryer, TV with English Channels and Aircon. I must mention that the aircon was not very good as we had the sun on our balcony from mid day until sunset. Especially during the heatwave in the second week. Impossible to use the balcony as it was too hot in the afternoon early evening. The food as before was fantastic with themed nights every day and we only ate out 3 times in 14 days. Can't understand why people complain about lack of choice, We always found something tasty. The Animation team were fantastic and a true asset to the hotel. Mayte, Judith and Lucia remembered us by name from last year and were genuinely happy to see us. We took park in all of the activities and met some great people. There were lots of returning guests and familiar faces including staff around the hotel. The drinks at the bar were great with San Miguel on tap as well as all local spirits and Cava always available even at breakfast. The bar opens at 10am and shuts at midnight. We Always managed to get sun loungers despite the hotel being at full capacity. This is a great hotel in a great location for getting out and about with a shop 2 mins away and Cala Blanca Beach with restaurants was 5 mins away. The strip of shops and bars was about 15 mins walk. Cala Santandria beach was around 30 mins walk. You need to visit Ciutudella whilst there either by bus directly outside the hotel or by taxi for around 10 to 12 Euros. Over all we had a great time and will definitely return. All of the staff here are happy to help and make the holiday very special This is not a party hotel but they have some fabulous live music most evenings and enjoyed busting some moves on the dance floor not to mention the bingo every evening. "Click" If you want a lovely relaxing comfortable hotel then book and enjoy. If you want all night partying then this is not the hotel or resort for you.
Hotel, pool & gardens are spotlessly clean. Two minute walk down to the cove which is beautiful & you pass the supermarket on the way. Beautiful little bar at the cove called Hola Ola. Bus stop is right outside the back of the hotel & buses ran regularly & only €1.70 to go into the main city which is beautiful. There is a ‘naughty corner’ as we called it for smokers but only a few people used it but if you got caught smoking anywhere else you got a telling off 🤣 (didnt bother us as none of us smoked). There seemed to be one rule for one & another rule for another, there are ‘notices’ dotted around about tops must be worn inside, dont come in wet, dont sit in pools with drinks, no smoking or vaping etc etc but only seemed to be in place for certain people 🤷♀️. The snack bar was in the restaurant & you cannot bring food out (although you can eat your own snacks from the supermarket in the gardens or terrace area) and you cannot fill a water bottle in there even when the bar area was closed which we couldnt understand. Reception team arent helpful at all & could do with some customer service training. We got given no information about the hotel ie: meal times, activities etc, luckily we spoke to people who had been a few days & gave us the info. Animation team are brilliant. Not really much for young children. Bar team are good
My husband and I recently stayed here on our first trip to Menorca. As we love visiting new places, we decided to give the island a try, and overall we had a lovely holiday. The check-in process was excellent. Although there was quite a large queue, we were checked in within five minutes. We were greeted with a welcome drink (gin and lemon), which was a lovely touch. However, there wasn’t a non-alcoholic option for those who don’t drink or for children. While the check-in was efficient, I do feel it would have been helpful if reception had spent a little more time explaining things such as the Wi-Fi, safe rental, and the local bus service to Ciutadella. We ended up having to return to reception to ask for this information. The hotel only has one small lift, which is quite slow and only fits around three people comfortably, but it did the job. Our room was clean, spacious enough, and had everything we needed, although it is definitely starting to look a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment. The beds were extremely firm, which unfortunately left us with backache each morning, although this may suit some guests. The air conditioning worked well, the balcony was a good size, and having both a bath and shower was a bonus. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space—more than I’ve experienced in many hotels. The Wi-Fi was actually some of the best we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive hotel, with a strong and reliable connection throughout our stay. However, this was another piece of information that wasn’t explained during check-in. We had to return to reception to find out why it wasn’t working, only to be told we needed to collect a QR code to access it. It would have been really helpful if this had been mentioned when we first arrived, as it would have saved guests an unnecessary trip back to reception. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and replenished whenever the room was cleaned, and the housekeeping staff were more than happy to provide extra supplies if needed. There was also a TV with several English channels, including BBC and ITV, which was a pleasant surprise. A mini fridge was included, along with two complimentary bottles of water on arrival. These weren’t replenished during our stay, but there is a water station available in the hotel. The room safe is available for an additional charge, which was disappointing for a hotel advertised as four-star. It required a €10 cash deposit and worked out at around £50 for the week. Personally, I don’t think guests should have to pay extra for a safe in a hotel of this rating. There was no iron provided in the room, but toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash were available. The housekeeping team were fantastic throughout our stay. On my birthday, they even surprised me with a bottle of cava and two glasses in our room, which was a really thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis. Unfortunately, breakfast was probably the weakest meal for us. The fruit juices were very watery, the bread and cereal selection was limited, and there wasn’t much fresh fruit available. The pastries tended to become dry from being left uncovered. There was a cooked breakfast selection, which was decent enough, but I think anyone with dietary requirements, such as gluten intolerance or coeliac disease, may struggle due to the limited choice and unclear food labelling. Lunch and dinner varied depending on the day. Some themed evenings, particularly the Italian and Asian nights, were very enjoyable, while other meals lacked variety. We appreciate that this is a smaller hotel and food waste is something they have to consider, but a little more choice would have been welcome. The desserts were fairly standard for an all-inclusive Spanish hotel, although the soft-serve ice cream was excellent. More fresh fruit would have been a nice addition. The only real frustration in the restaurant was the live cooking station. The chefs often allowed food to completely run out before cooking more, resulting in queues of around ten minutes. The restaurant itself felt a little like a canteen at busy times, with hard seating and tables quite close together, making it feel a little chaotic. Drinks in the restaurant were self-service, including beer, wine, soft drinks, and water. One odd thing we noticed was that the Diet Pepsi was consistently very flat. There is also a snack service available between meals, although we didn’t use it. The hotel has one main bar, which was perfectly adequate for the size of the hotel, although I imagine it could become very busy during peak season. San Miguel was served on draught, which was a bonus, and there was a water station available, although more than one would have been useful. One thing that could definitely be improved is providing an all-inclusive drinks menu, as we had to keep asking what was included. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and supervised by a lifeguard. As expected, some guests reserved sunbeds very early each morning, but we always managed to find somewhere, some using the grassy area. The pool temperature was comfortable, and there was also a separate shallow pool. There was plenty of daytime entertainment around the pool, and evening entertainment was available too, although we didn’t attend any of the evening shows. The staff throughout the hotel were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They really are one of the hotel’s biggest strengths and made us feel very welcome. The hotel has a loyal following of returning guests, and it’s easy to understand why. It’s friendly, affordable, and has a relaxed atmosphere. That said, compared with other four-star hotels we’ve stayed in across Spain, I don’t personally feel it quite reaches four-star standard. If you need a taxi, reception will happily order one for you. Unfortunately, taxi availability on the island seems quite limited. We were told ours would arrive in ten minutes, but after waiting over an hour we eventually cancelled. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it would perhaps be better if guests were simply told that waiting times are unpredictable. Instead, we used the local bus to Ciutadella twice, which was excellent. It cost just €1.70 each way, but make sure you have cash as cards aren’t accepted. The hotel is located in a quiet area, so anyone looking for nightlife should do their research before booking. There is a supermarket just a two-minute walk away, along with a few bars and restaurants, while the main commercial area is around a 15-minute walk. The nearby coves—and indeed the whole island—are absolutely stunning and were undoubtedly the highlight of our holiday. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed discovering Menorca. While there are areas where the hotel could improve, particularly if it wishes to maintain its four-star rating, the friendly staff and peaceful location made for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return to Menorca in the future, although next time we’d probably hire a car and stay in a villa so we can explore even more of this beautiful island.
Me and my friend have just come back from a lovely stay. Hotel was clean. Our room was big, plenty of space for the two of us. Wardrobe with 2 full length mirrors. Thw staff were lovely. The tui rep was always on hand, we had a lovely welcome from him at the welcome meeting, he was very informative about the island and trips available. Very helpful. He is an asset to tui. Cleaners were fantastic. Always said hello as we passed them 😊 rooms were spotless. Food was lovely and fresh, we saw them take trays away after a short time to replenish with new. Theme nights were really good. Plently of sun beds. We used to get up go down just before breakfast to put our towels down, have breakfast and go to them.never any towels down at silly times and left. Pools were lovely and clean, we saw them cleaning them everyday. The drinks in the AI werent amazing like some places ive stayed. As only certain cocktails allowed and certain spirits. But we did enjoy the couple we liked on the menu. We had to ask for less alcohol in our drinks as they were very strong 🤣 heres bars and restaurants down the road or a short walk into the town with a few shops and pharmacy. The beach cove is beautiful 🩷 lovely stay overall and would definitely return! 🥰
Food was good and hotel was spotlessly clean. Bus was easy to catch right outside the hotel Entertainment was good and catered for everybody. The animators Mayte Lucia and Judith was amazing friendly and managed to draw the crowd. They were a bundle of fun
Posizione comoda per raggiungere le spiagge più belle della costa sud. Colazione eccellente.
La parte dolce della colazione. I primi piatti italiani della cena. Il frigorifero in camera un pò piccolo. Manca bidet nel bagno
First dropped off which is always a bonus. Quiet location, only 500metres from lovely safe swimming cove. Same distance to excellent spots to see amazing sunsets. There is also a shop and a few restaurants within a 5 min stroll. Lovely walks around hotel, I would say this location and hotel is more suited for couples or groups of older friends than families with young children due to the lack of amenities close by. We had a lovely 10-15 min amble to the Commercial, whuch is a small strip of several restaurants, shops and bars which was a nice change. Great bus service which stops right outside of the hotel. We used it twice to visit Cutuidella whichbus a must see and once to Cala on Bosch, lovely beaches which you can walk to both along the cliffs. The hotel and grounds are spotless, the room was large and with a fridge. We didn't use the safe. The food was presented well and hot, it was always well cooked and varied, themed nights are very good. The show cooking was always a fish and a meat dish with plenty of choice of sides. The salads were tasty, fresh with stacks of choice. No problem finding sunbeds or a brolly, we pitched in the quieter grassed area at the back of the pool, and got bith ved and brolly every day. Be mindful of the sprinklers though, they dont go off until 8 a.m. Ecery member of the staff seemed happy to working there. Always smiling and approachable, the well trained team work really hard to make sure you have a great holiday. So dont forget to drop them a little something to show your appreciation. The drinks were fine, Sandra Mjguel from the pump and the wine was very palatable. It's help yourself in the restaurant including soft drinks and coffee. The staff in the restaurant work tirelessly to make sure the tables are cleared and cleaned quickly and effectively. Plenty of daily activities organised by a hard grafting animation team. I only joined thd water gym classes but there was plenty of choice for both adults and children. The pools are great sizes especially the kiddies, there is a lifeguard. This hotel is true value for money, and then some. It's not luxury but it is a clean well teained and established team doing everything right, resulting in excellent customer service and satisfaction. We are a very well travelled youthful over 60's couple. This was our first time to Memorca and we were at pains to know why. We had a cracking chilled 11 night break at this hotel, met some lovely like minded guests. The experience was so perfect we will be returning next year. Thank you to all the staff at the Globales Cala Blanca, hope yo see you soon.
I really can’t understand the negative reviews My husband and I had one of the best holidays in the Cala Blanca Hotel The staff are very friendly Best evening entertainment we have had Yes our room was dated but clean so that was fine Pool area was great plenty of beds no need to rush in the morning like some silly people putting towels on beds at 6 o’clock The food was great i am Celiac and allways found something the freshest of salads fish and meat your own toaster gluten free bread, porridge, cornflakes, biscuits and cakes all on a separate tray which was a lovely touch (Hope the other Globales Hotels on the island and we have visited many are reading this because they don’t do this at breakfast time ) The area around Hotel is quiet but lovely enjoyed our morning walks and there’s a Bus Stop right outside Hotel 2 euros to visit Cidudella is a must Thanks to all the Staff for a wonderful holiday hope to see you next year
Amazing stay begin of June 2026
The food was good with a great choice. The pool was clean and as described. The staff in the most were friendly. The activities offered at the hotel were average. The bathroom had mold, the ceiling in the bathroom was broken and there was no extraction so the bathroom became dripping wet and the floor slippy after a shower or bath. There was pealing paint on the ceiling in the bedroom and on the balcony. The lighting in the hotel rooms was very poor and when we first arrived was not working properly. There were rips in the curtains in my son’s area of the room. The tiles on the balcony were uneven and dangerous. The decking outside the bar was very bouncy and unsafe. When sat at the table you had to keep hold of your drinks when people walked past or they would bounce off. The laminate flooring through the ground floor areas was poorly fitted, slippy and a fall risk. If you were not awake at the crack of dawn every sun bed was already taken by the pool, some people left towels out all night. No food apart from ice cream and snacks out of the vending machine could be taken by the pool to enjoy even though it is all inclusive. The free ice cream, chips etc available for snacks had to be eaten in the restaurant. The general appearance of the whole hotel was in need of TLC. There were a lot of complaints when we were there and most people agreed this is not a four T hotel. I would say a three at most for the food etc but a two for the accommodation. The Area is 5 star for beauty, peace, beach etc and the trips we did with TUI where really good. I would return to Menorca but never this hotel again.
Location was quiet but ideal for bus travel to Mahon and Citadella. Lovely beach 5 minutes across road. Very friendly welcome, staff all very helpful. Room was comfortable, clean and pool view balcony. Lacked awareness of possible cross contamination at buffet. No separate GF options, were in trays next to non GF choices. No separate toaster. Quite limited choices in whole week with little or no variety. Staff need educating on dietary requirements, cross contamination and consequences.

We booked this as a cheeky little get away as a cheap and cheerful holiday, and it did not disappoint. If you are wanting hustle and bustle, this will not be for you. We arrived just as tea was being served up, we dropped our bags off and went for food. The food is alright, just general AI food, generally something for everyone. Drinks…the AI drinks suited us, you don’t get a massive choice, but that’s fine by us. The rooms are basic, but are clean, beds comfy, when we arrived the room that we had booked had no balcony (my fault) so the next morning we asked to see if we could pay for an upgrade whilst we were here, but the only room they had available was a much smaller room, we weren’t charged for the switch, it was literally half the size, but that didn’t bother us as you only sleep in your room so size really wasn’t an issue, it just goes to show how good all the staff will try to accommodate you the best that they can. They all work so hard. The pool is only small, but lovely and clean. What surprised me is that there is a pool hoist, as we have been to bigger and busier hotels, and this is the first one that we have seen that has a hoist for disabled users. The animation team work their socks off, it must be really hard work being so cheerful, and getting people involved. They have Bingo every night at 9pm and we won on the full house, 96 euros (paid for a nice meal out on our last night) then the other entertainment starts at 10pm. There is a nice cove beach about a 5-10 min walk away, the sea was lovely and clear when we went for a swim. If you are wanting something different to eat, there are bars around the cove and a sunset bar at the end to watch the sunset. If you are wanting more choice for eating out, if you walk about 15 mins away from the hotel, there is a promenade with other restaurants near the sea front and a nice little Irish pub called the Blarney Stone, that do a nice cup of tea after a morning of investigating around the area. All in all if you are wanting a quiet and relaxing “fly and flop” kind of holiday, this is an ideal place to be. The staff here have been fabulous and the holiday has been great, just what we needed.
Had a fabulous 10 night stay . The room was clean and comfortable with daily room cleaning , regular bedding and towel changing . We enjoyed the food especially the theme nights . Some of the food wasn’t very hot but there is a microwave if required . There was always plenty of choice . The dining room can get busy however we timed the meals as is so that we visited when nit as busy . The bar staff were very attentive and overall all the staff were very friendly . The animation team are great and try to get people involved . The night time shows were generally good, though this is down to personal choice . The local area is quiet there are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk . The beach is a couple of minutes walk away . There is a supermarket next door . Overall the hotel was lovely and well maintained and we would stay there again
Good food great service excellent staff. Comfortable rooms. A place I would go back to no problem.
We stayed at the hotel from 15–22 May with friends and family and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the service, food, and atmosphere. The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the animation team, especially Mayte and Judith. They were absolutely fantastic from morning until evening — always smiling, full of energy, and genuinely passionate about making guests have a good time. What stood out most was how naturally they connected with people of all ages. They created such a friendly and positive atmosphere around the hotel that it really became part of what made the holiday special. Whether during activities, shows, or simply chatting with guests during the day, they made everyone feel welcome and included. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they deserve a lot of credit for the atmosphere in the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food. There was a very good variety every day, with fresh ingredients, tasty local dishes, and enough choice for everyone in our group. Meals were something we genuinely looked forward to. Another thing we loved was the location. The area feels quiet, authentic, and much more relaxed than large tourist party resorts. There are beautiful beaches nearby with clear water and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing walks or spending the day by the sea. The hotel grounds themselves are also beautiful, full of well-maintained plants, palm trees, and greenery that make the whole place feel calm and tropical. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and helpful, and room service was very good — our rooms were always clean, comfortable, and well looked after. This is not a dedicated party hotel, and honestly that is part of its charm. If you come with the right attitude, ready to relax, enjoy the entertainment, and appreciate the atmosphere, it can be a truly perfect holiday with lots of fun and great memories. There is still the possibility to party and enjoy evening entertainment, but it is not the kind of place with loud parties continuing all night long, which for many guests makes the experience much more enjoyable and balanced. We left with very positive impressions and would happily return in the future ❤️ Max and Zhenia
Globales Cala Blanca is an absolute gem of a hotel in a superb location, but read the description on the hotel and travel companies website before going there - it is NOT a party location, and is located in a largely residential area, but a beautiful area with private villas and local homes all surrounded by trees and the view from our pool-view balcony overlooked the local area and the sea. Oh - and what a sun-trap the balcony was! The local area is very quiet and clean, and we felt perfectly safe walking around there. Staff are welcoming and work very hard to keep you comfortable and entertained. Take in as much of the live entertainment as you like (which can be VERY good indeed), or just kick back and chill on the decked veranda. Bar staff, housekeepers, chefs and table staff were all excellent. Bar has the usual assortment of all inclusive options, with things like Magners Cider, premium spirits available for you to pay for. Our TUI Rep, Rafael was always on hand to help out, and a very nice chap too! Food is typical All Inclusive service, but really good variety and hot and fresh. But if you fancy a change, there are restaurants only a few minutes walk from there at the Clana Blanca cove - more on this later! Rooms - our room was well furnished and immaculate inside (Superior twin with pool view balcony), beds surprisingly comfortable and air conditioning that worked! Our safe in the room was 41 euro rental for the week, with an additional 10 euro returnable deposit - I had no problem paying that as its cheaper than losing passports! Some people commented while we were there that there was nothing to do at the the hotel, and that is kind of the point - get out into the local area and explore! So what to do in Cala Blanca? To be honest, if you are the kind of person who likes to bathe in the sun all day, a dip in the pool and then chill out with a few drinks on the hotel grounds (which are very pretty and well maintained) , then this is a perfect place for you. Out and about, there is a small sandy cove looking out to sea just around the corner which is idyllic - you can hire a sunbed and parasol for around 8 euros for the day. Around 800 meters from the hotel is a rocky coastline outcrop which looks out over the sea, and the sunsets are amazing! The Cala Blanca Restaurant is a great place for drinks or something to eat, with an extensive menu. A supermarket a minutes walk from the hotel for your water, milk etc., with gifts an souvenirs, sun protection, wines and spirits etc. Note - you can't buy tobacco from local shops - you have to go to approved Tabac shops in Ciutadella. Cala Blanca's small commercial centre is a ten minute walk away for more shops and restaurants, car hire outlet and the great Blarney Stone Irish Pub - great pint here and excellent burgers! There is also a pharmacy and doctor here too. Right outside the hotel is a bus stop - catch the L64 service to Cuitadella for 1.70 euro - drivers are great, understand English if you are nervous trying the local lingo and take you to the bus terminus in Cuitadella. Buses only take cash, and notes no bigger than 20 euro - so take the right change if you can. The hotel reception can help you here. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Ciutadella, or if it is on the stand, catch the free shuttle bus to the centre, which takes you to the main square. We loved Cuitadella - You MUST go and see it - it is achingly pretty with wonderful architecture and side streets, and a shoppers mecca with boutiques, bars and tapas, deli's and bakeries - and you must check out the cathedral ( opens after 5pm from memory). You must try the Ensaïmada's - very moreish and in a variety of fillings - a very popular pastry with the locals too - it is a specialty of Menorca. Don't forget to check out the harbour, where you can indulge in a huge variety of seafood from the various restaurants here You can easily spend a day here, and not see it all. Monday and Friday are Market day here with a huge assortment of local crafts and typical market clothing etc. Return to the hotel bus stop is easy - buy your ticket from the kiosk on the bus terminal, ask for a ticket to Cala Blanca, pay your 1.70 euro again and off you go. The L64 leaves the terminal on the hour until 9pm. if you miss the last bus, there is a taxi rank in Cuitadella main Square, and a taxi back to the hotel was around 9 euros, before tip. Taxi's take debit/credit cards too! Overall, we absolutely loved Cala Blanca and have already booked to return in May 2027. We came home relaxed and happy, while very sad to leave. But - we will be back! Thanks to the whole Cala Blanca hotel team, Rafael from TUI, the drivers from Torres buses and all the Menorcans who made us feel very welcome!
First think first. The coach drops you away from the hotel so if you have health or mobility issues it can be stressful carrying your cases to the hotel. Not sure why the hotel cannot arrange to meet the coach and transport the cases for you. No soft drinks to welcome you upon arrival to the hotel . Expensive safe and first time in years we have had to pay for pool towels and also pay again to change them at a four star hotel. The hotel is clean with some very friendly staff. The food is subject to your own taste, but i prefer plain food not everything covered is sauces, oil, garlic butter etc. None of the food shows allergy icons, i.e. nuts, seeds etc. When I asked if they could cook food oil free they said not possible. The restaurant is over crowded with tables being so close to each other you can share your neighbours food. Same with the sunbeds. I think this hotel is like Marmite you either love it or hate it. It didn't work for us and we wouldn't go back, but I do understand why people love it. The Globales logo, The Hotel of you Lifetime, is true just not for the right reason for us.
Well what can I say this hotel is amazing staff brilliant and friendly gemma& vicktor barstaff amazing.food quite good dining staff good some happier than others .Judith amazing activities. Room which we had over looking the front of hotel lovely.when we first arrived we were given a room that had no sun so we went and asked reception and it was changed for us lovely clean room.drinks good on All inclusive had to pay for magnets for the husband bit good price.lovely quite area just enough bars and walks round and about.i am going to book again for next may we had such a great time.Thank you to everyone who made us feel welcome.
We arrived to be welcomed by Raphael giving us some local gin whilst we checked in. We were straight into our room, 346 which was on the top floor with a wonderful sea view. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room was clean. The food was fresh and plentiful but limited choice due to the hotel being smaller. We always found something yummy but labels would be beneficial to avoid allergic reactions and waste. Lovely undercover seating area, plenty of sun loungers and indoor seating if preferred. The evening entertainment was very good except the karaoke, which was painful. The hotel is positioned in a great spot, it’s quiet but accessible to amenities and beaches to watch the beautiful sunset. The bus to Cuitadella stops right outside the hotel and cost just €1.70 each way. It’s definitely worth a visit being full of historic buildings, boutiques and a market. We thoroughly enjoyed Casa Oliver which only costs €5 to visit and it stunning. We would return to this hotel and definitely prefer Menorca to the other Spanish islands we have visited.
Returned again 6th to 17th May. Brilliant hotel. All the staff really make it a pleasure to return, they make you feel so welcome. The food was a of good choice the theme nights we enjoyed. Rooms comfortable, ours had a walk in shower which we requested. Mayte and Judith are the best animation team, hard working and always smiling. Entertainment on a night was varied and very good. We met some guests who were there last year. Just to mention Mel and Val . Hopefully returning next year.
We originally wrote a review whilst we were still at the hotel, but now that we are home, we felt we had to write another one because this holiday truly was something special. From the moment we walked into reception, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and made to feel instantly at home. It honestly felt like we were returning guests rather than first-time visitors. The entire reception team were absolutely outstanding — professional, kind, caring, and always happy to help with anything at all. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but without question, this was the best reception team we have ever experienced. Every single member of staff was amazing, and even now, sitting at home writing this, we can still picture those wonderful smiles. The restaurant staff, waiters, waitresses, bar staff, housekeeping team — every single person worked so incredibly hard whilst always remaining friendly, cheerful, and approachable. The restaurant manager was constantly smiling and making sure everything ran perfectly. Service was quick, efficient, and always delivered with genuine kindness. The bar staff were lovely and so chatty, making every visit enjoyable. You are not supposed to have favourites, but we definitely did! They helped create such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere every single day. Housekeeping also deserve huge praise. The hotel was spotless throughout our entire stay, and the chambermaids/chambermen were always smiling and so efficient. Now to the two amazing entertainment ladies — what an incredible job they do! We have honestly never met entertainers quite like them. They were bubbly, energetic, welcoming, and constantly encouraged everyone to join in the activities, even when some of us (especially me!) were absolutely terrible at them! Their positivity was infectious and they made the holiday even more memorable. The reason we are already hoping to return in September is because of the people. The staff are what make this hotel so special, and Globales should be incredibly proud of every single one of them. They work tirelessly to make sure guests have the best possible holiday, and it truly shows. Nabella and I had the most wonderful 10 days and met so many lovely people during our stay. As for the hotel itself — it was exceptionally clean throughout. If you are expecting a luxury 5-star hotel with kettles and coffee facilities in the rooms, then this may not be for you, but the rooms do include shampoo, body wash, and a fridge, and irons are available on request. The food was very good with plenty of choice every day. Sometimes it could be slightly lukewarm, but there is a microwave available if needed. There were always fresh meats, salads, fruit, fish, paella, pasta, snacks throughout the day, and breakfast especially offered a huge variety. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, wine, and beer were all available in the restaurant for all-inclusive guests. Honestly, if you cannot find something you like here, then all-inclusive probably is not for you! The pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds available. The bar staff were strict about glasses not leaving the hotel area for health and safety reasons, which we completely understood and appreciated. The limit of three drinks per person also helped keep service moving quickly for everyone. The beach is literally on the doorstep, just down a few steps, which was perfect. Evening entertainment was enjoyable too, especially the nightly bingo with some great cash prizes! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with genuinely exceptional staff who make you feel valued every single day, then this hotel is absolutely perfect. Nabella and Jeannette will definitely be back — and we cannot wait to see you all again, meet new friends, and hopefully catch up with old ones too! xx
Returned home yesterday after another great 11 night holiday at this hotel. Please read the reviews that I did in May and October 2025 as nothing has changed for me other than a couple of things. We met up with some people who were also returning eg Frank, Stewart / Elaine and Graham & Dehlia, Ian to name but a few. We also met some new people who were lovely eg the North East ladies and BSA Dave & Barry. The people who did the activities all enjoyed each others company as Mayte and Judith make them so welcome. All the evening entertainments were very good but the Drifters were excellent. All the bar staff are so friendly but a special mention to Gemma & Marc. Victor runs a very efficient friendly bar. All the other staff are a credit to the Manager but I would like to say a huge thanks to Gisela and Marina on reception who went way beyond the norm to help us when my wife's handbag was lost for around 12 hrs. All being well we look forward to returning in the Autumn. PS If Gemma ( from May 2025) reads this.... I did better this time round.
Hotel is in a good location everything within walking distance also regular bus service to Ciutadella Disappointed we were on the ground floor no view from the balcony only a hedge to look at One of our rooms had problems with the plumbing shower didn’t drain toilet wouldn’t flush Food was very much the same every day not a great deal of choice we were all inclusive but ate out on most days All in all Hotel was very clean we were only there for 4 days but sadly wouldn’t return I would recommend TUI for a package deal well organised and well informed from start to finish
Zona piscina y ubicación.
Desayuno.
It’s a nice little hotel in a quiet residential area. There is no allocated parking, so if you hire a car it can be a little difficult at times to park. The check in was swift, however we were not allowed to pay the deposit for the safe when we checked in, we had to return later to do that, which seemed long winded to me. The food was average at best with not a great selection. At one meal I found a coarse, black hair in my risotto which I found incredibly grim. We ate out for a lot of our evening meals. The pool area was clean and well kept. Sun bed wars do happen. It was very hot while we were there so a lot of us adults would sit with our legs in the children’s pool. The lifeguard told my husband off for having a beer while doing this. There was another large group there, who were celebrating a big birthday, who got drunk daily and were very loud, and would jump and bomb into the main pool but that was absolutely fine. Our room was small. We had problems with the lighting in the room for the whole of our stay. The bed side tables are supposed to light up, we only found that out because my husband turned over in bed and his started flashing then the main lights went out. They were supposed to fix it, but they never did. Our kettle blew too, so maybe it was something wrong with the room. Our floors weren’t particularly clean either. There was a lot of fluff and dust around the edges. We like to go to the beach, so they did get sandy but they never appeared to be swept properly. One day the cleaner didn’t leave us any hand towels so we asked her for some, the way she reacted anyone would have thought we were asking her to give us her life’s savings. We love Menorca, we go almost every year but we won’t return to this hotel, nor would we recommend it. There are a lot better ones out there for a similar price.
We went to this hotel in May 2025 and have just returned from another great 11 night holiday. This one did not disappoint either. I could just copy and paste what I wrote in May because once again it was excellent relaxing holiday. Activites. I love having a go at the activities as it's made so inclusive and enjoyable by Mayte and Judith. The activities included archery, air rifle, air hand gun, Shjoelen, shuffle board, darts, boules, ping pong, water aerobics and fun games like 'Bang Bang" and lots of others. You make lots of friends through joining in and everyone is made so welcome. Entertainment ... Again it was a high standard with singers, magician / escapologist, jugglers / contortionist. The singers got the place 'rocking' and that's tough when I'd say most of the audience were probably 55+ in age! Whoever booked the acts did a great job. The Mowtown evening was the best music and the Etheopian Circus were amazing. The only 'dud' was the Reggae duo. Staff ... All the staff were friendly, helpful and did a fantastic job. This covered everything from those who did the bedrooms, cleaning, cooking, clearing up, serving in the bar, reception etc. I must highlight how well Astrid on reception dealt with a person who was smoking on the decking where smoking is prohibited. She did it in a very professional manner and it didn't happen again. Gemma at the bar was also great as she always had a smile and all I'll say to her is "save the legs". Cleanliness.. It was spotless. All public areas were kept so clean and tidy. There was no litter and tables were cleared very quickly. The restaurant was a great place to eat. The air temperature and humidity was perfect. All the staff were super quick and friendly. Food and drink .. The food was a 'help yourself' buffet and the range on offer was very good. There was plenty of choice with chicken and pork being the most common meat though. I didn't hear anyone complaining about being hungry as there was plenty of choice. We were AI and the spirits / liquors were not premium brands but they were available to buy. Also the bar staff were very friendly, helpful and worked very very very hard. They were all great. Hard external areas ... they were kept clean and tidy all day and evening. There is a large decking area next to the bar / entertainment room which has plenty of chairs / tables and soft seating. It also benefits from a canopy that can provide shade for 50% of it. The pool area is down a few steps and would benefit from a handrail being fitted though. I saw the pool water being tested frequently. There is also a chairlift to help people in and out of the water. Soft external areas .... There are large grassed areas for people to use if they wanted to be away from the pool / decking area. The bushes and hedges are shaped and are clearly looked after. The front of the hotel has a grassed area with some well maintained plants. That area is also another lovely quiet place to sit and has some very comfy chairs. Gym ... I'm not a user of gyms but went to look at it. It looked well equipped to me eg weights, walking / cycling machines etc. Smoking ... I am not a smoker and hate secondary smoke. This hotel has a designated smoking area outside which is well away from tables, chairs and sunbeds etc. They have provided chairs and tables in the space. Credit and thank you to everyone who went there. I just hope the hotel continues to enforce it again when we intend to return in early May again. Music ...The only music that was played outside was on a morning by the Animation team and that was via a portable player / speaker. It was at a level where you didn't necessarily hear it at the the other side of the pool. Again, most people appreciated this. Also 'thanks' to those people who listened to their music via headphones etc ie no one had to complain about the selfish people who play it out loud via their own device Location .. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and there are not many shops / bars etc near by. A few people said they expected more but we knew exactly what were hoping for and got it in bundles. We found a gem of a place where we could relax and have a great time. Other guests can make a holiday one to remember and once again we met lovely people. It was great to see Colin, Shiela and Frank / Paco again from our previous visit. We also met more guests who added to our holiday experience . They included ....Rod & Theresa, Dave from Wigan who was fantastic on the Karaoke, Adam & his family, all the Home Bargain ladies from the North East, Chelsea & her 'dogs', Pam & Chris plus many many more. Finally ... All being well. If Mayte and Judith are there, we are looking to book again to return on 2 May for 11 nights and it would be great see old and recent guests again. Thank you to everyone at this hotel Mel
We had a lovely weeks visit to this hotel on All Inclusive, and it was our first time in Menorca. We were not disappointed! We found the location brilliant and close to the beach, where you could watch fantastic sunsets! some lovely varied restaurants as well. The food in the hotel was great and it changed every night to a different theme. The staff were brilliant and polite and super friendly as well. The animation team were great with some good quality evening entertainment and fun day time activities cocktail games etc...i would encourage you to join in with these. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and grass areas. Room was cleaned every day if required and the hotel was in a very clean condition. It's a quiet location so no loud bars clubs etc . Perfect for a quiet escape. I would recommend day trips to Ciutedella market and cala n bocsh, where there are also nice eateries and beach.
We been here 3 times love this hotel its clean food lovely drink fine the staff are brilliant friendly the entertainment is great it very peaceful there nothing to not like
We had a fantastic 5 nights here with great weather. The hotel was immaculate and the food was good. The hotel staff from reception to the waiting staff to the cleaners were so kind. Also a big thank you to Inma at reception Mayte and Judith who worked so hard entertaining us and Juliam who worked behind the food counters. Cala Blanca is a beautiful resort quiet and some lovely restaurants overlooking the beach. I would recommend.
Clean comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings, very friendly and attentive staff and fresh tasty food and drink at all times.
Just returned from a 4 night all inclusive break. Cannot fault the hotel & the staff were all amazing, nothing was too much for them, from the chefs, bar staff, reception & cleaners. As per previous review, yes there could've been more cold meat selection for salads, but that's just personal preference. All areas were kept really clean. Cannot wait to return.
Really pleasant, very clean, lovely location, and good value for money! We paid extra for a pool view and were on the third gloor, this also gave us a sea view and a view over to Majorca. Definitely no complaints but one tiny grumble if anything is there wasnt a lot of food choice especially cold cuts for salad at lunch etc, but the food that was served was tasty and decent quality. Fantastic beach bar Hola Ola 5 mins away for a change away from the hotel. Amazing sunsets. Really liked Cala Blanca and Ciutadella a must visit.
I really do wonder whether some people go on holiday not to enjoy themselves but to find fault with where they are staying. This hotel is simply amazing in every respect ! The accommodation, staff, food and amenities cannot be faulted. Can’t wait to return again soon.
Excellent

Just got back after a two week stay and had an enjoyable stay, but there are a few things that could be improved upon. Firstly, the positives: The entertainment was excellent and is easily the best of any hotel that we have stayed in. The staff were all cheerful and tremendously hard working. The food choice is good and we could always find something that met our fussy eating requirements. The location of the hotel is close to the beach, shops and alternative restaurants if required. The not so good: The charge for the use of the safe we felt was excessive at 76 euro for two weeks. This was far and above what we have paid in other hotels. The room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge, which was a bonus, but some of the plug sockets didn't work, there were light switches that just weren't connected to anything and others have mentioned, there was no mirror on the dressing table, which would be an easy fix. The steps leading down from the decking area to the pool perimeter are a death trap at night. The decking lights blind you as you look down at the steps and you can not see the edge of the steps. On one night 3 people stumbled down them me being one of them.😡 There were plenty of sunbeds, but they were a little uncomfortable with no padding. Some of the guests were a bit rowdy playing their music at full blast on speakers it would have been good if a staff member could have asked them to be more considerate. Finally a suggestion. The bar staff have to spend a lot of time collecting the plastic tumblers from around the pool area because guests are too lazy to return them or even put them in the metal tubs provided. Why not take a deposit for the cups when the guests order their first drink and if they return a cup when they have finished they get that returned. If they don't return a cup, they have to pay another deposit. This way it would encourage guests to always return the cups. Any deposits not claimed when you switch over to glasses in the evening could be shared amongst the staff as tips.
A warning to begin as it may be important to some. There is a walk of more than 200m to get to and from reception for arrival and pick up from the coach transfer. Not good if you have any health/mobility issues or even young children, worse if it is raining as you would get soaked. I was feeling guilty about writing this review as we had booked on the basis of what we had read in the reviews, however it seems we are not alone in our judgement given some of the most recent. The room was ok until we opened the curtains and saw a flat roof extending along the length of the first floor, it meant overlooked by all other balconies, no privacy. As mentioned elsewhere the lighting is poor and confusing as to its function. The restaurant is cramped and flies were a problem most days, the food is mediocre at best, using poor quality ingredients. Their Mexican theme had "Cajun" in front of most of the dishes which gives you a sense of their themed menus. I think I have worked out the source of the glowing reviews i.e Drunken, loud mouthed tattooed Brits, the men were just as bad tbh. It seems their benchmark for food and accommodation has been set by a stay in a Travellodge and a burger joint.
Just back from Hotel Cala Blanca, our home from home. Amazing hotel and staff. Always friendly and helpful. Service excellent as usual when booking in. Hotel very clean, gardens are lovely. Short walk to beach, nice stroll down the road to watch the sunset. Patio area is great for making friends. Restaurant and Bar staff are fabulous and work really hard. A great choice of food and I'm very fussy. Entertainment staff are brilliant. Already booked to return next June. People ask why do we keeping coming back, well it's all of the above and the fact that they make you feel so welcomed. It's our little bit of Paradise.
Positive Good location if you like a quieter area. 5 minute walk to beach and less to local well stocked shop. Lovely welcoming reception area. Room comfortable. Shower hot. Lift working and clean. Pool clean. Dining tables and bar area clean. Plenty of Sunbeds, no need to reserve but some did- as usual! Lots of space on the grassed areas. Helpful reception team. Not so positive Crowded food serving area, not enough space to move without bumping into people sometimes. Food often warm at best, never hot. Pasta cooked in big batch then when all gone, needed to wait for next big batch (other establishments cook little and often so pasta does not turn to stodge). Limited food availability particularly at breakfast (no pancakes 😢) Poor lighting in room. Some restaurant staff were rude. Stairs are uneven with gaps (hard to explain), painted black so little definition between steps- take care!
We came to Globales Cala Blanca as two couples from 6th to 20th Sept. The hotel was spotless with a very quick check in. We were allocated rooms next to each other, 215 and 216. Rooms They were a decent size and had a nice balcony with table and chairs. We had a TV with English channels, Tea/Coffee facilities, A fridge, a wardrobe with safe and bathroom with a hairdryer. The Air con was quite good and not too noisy. Plenty of plug sockets but not enough lights despite having a bunch of switches that didn't do anything. The beds were really comfortable and the maids came in every day. Bar and Pool area The pool area was great and never had a problem getting a sun bed. The water temp was perfect and the whole area was very well maintained and cleaned daily. There is only one bar but the staff who run it were fantastic and in the entire 14 days I don't think I needed to wait more than 1 or 2 minutes to be served.(2 drinks max at a time) Plastic cups during the day and Glasses in the evening. There was Cava at the end of the bar to help yourself to all day long. The Restaurant. First thing that you notice is how clean it is and it doesn't have that canteen smell. (If you know, you know) At lunch and dinner you are asked your room number and dependant on how busy, you would go and find a table. Don't think we ever had any issues. The dining room is quite small but fantastically managed. Not sure why all the negative reviews on the food. We have been to many AI hotels and the food here is great. Completely different every day for the entire 2 weeks including themed events, Chinese, Italian, Mexican etc. A wide variety of salads and cheese and all the usual staples, chips, rice and veg. Differant Freshly cooked meat and fish daily as well as pastas and paellas. Could not fault it. We only ate out 4 times in 14 days as we were out and about. Drinks Beer is San Miguel and very good. Didn't try white wine but the red was ok for lunch and evening meal. Cava as a said, on the bar to help yourself and also in the restaurant at all meal times including breakfast. The usual local brand Vodka, Gin, Whisky etc. Entertainment. Daytime activities including shooting, darts, shuffleboard, water polo and loads more were taken care of by Mayte (Maria Teressa) and Judith. These ladies are superstars and great fun. They get to know you and call you by name whenever they speak to you. They explain all aspects of the games in detail so that everyone understands. Bingo is a must which is also great fun (Click) We met lots of people playing the games and these two knew all of us. Probably the best Animation team we have come across and are not pushy to get you involved. The Area This is a quiet area with a bus stop outside, 1 min to the shop and a couple of restaurants. 5 mins walk to the beautiful Cala Blanca beach where you will find more restaurants then 10 mins walk into Cala Blanca where you will find a pharmacy, shops bars and restaurants. Cala Santandria beach and Sa Calleta beaches are a little further probably 25 min walk. You must visit Ciutadella for its quint streets, chill vibe and lovely harbour. €1.70 each way on the bus or just over €10 for a taxi. All in all, This was a fantastic relaxing holiday and cannot fault anything about the hotel. Every member of staff that we encountered were so friendly and genuinely seemed happy from reception, bar staff, Animation and housemaids. I would definitely return.
This was an all inclusive holiday booked through TUI. On arrival at hotel all seemed good. Staff were friendly, welcoming and booked room with pool view was ready for us. The room was fairly basic but clean and had all facilities required. The room was cleaned every day to a good standard with linen changed as well. Air conditioning was noisy but worked. Beds and pillows a little solid but this is always a personal like or dislike. Lighting could have been better. No mirror other than in bathroom difficult for ladies wishing to do make up sitting down. The Dining room was quite small and with hotel full meant queuing on ocassions. Food choice was varied but buffet style and often proteins were overcooked. Dining room staff were always pleasant. Drinks were free but spirits and wines of a cheaper brand. Only red wine on offer was chilled and not nice. The bar and function room was a nice area, air conditioned and also the night time entertainment space. The Animation team oversaw both day time and evening entertainment. Evening acts were varied , some being better than others. The Animation team were good fun and did a good job. The entertainment acts did not start until 10pm which seemed for some guests to be a little late? The pool area was popular but led to the increasingly earlier rush to get towels on loungers and to bag a umbrella. With bar open (all inclusive) noise levels increased as day wore on! Some guests obviously determined to get their money's worth. Whilst enjoying this holiday overall, having lived in and holidayed in Spain and it's many Islands extensively for 40 years I felt that this hotel was not comparable with other 4 star hotels visited. I would say however that all the staff with whom I had dealings were friendly, helpful and professional.
We have just arrived home today after a week at the hotel. Am interested to see if anyone else has come down with a dodgy stomach? We only ate there and have been ill all night that’s both myself and my husband. The canteen and it is a canteen is over packed with tables and chairs. The food is not the best and a lot of the time COLD. The staff were lovely and we stayed on the grass away from the hectic pool. We wouldn’t go back as stated by someone previously it’s not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I
Good location, quiet and clean hotel. Staff were wonderful , polite and friendly. Limited variety of food and only x1 restaurant. Air conditioning barely worked and bathroom tiny. This hotel is at best 3 star .
Disappointed with the food and dinning room did not feel this was four star. Rooms basic and no mirror to sit and do make up and hair unless I wanted to stand in bathroom.
Very enjoyable stay , all the staff were great , The food was good quality and always varied . Excellent salad options and always a choice of meat and vegetarian dishes . The hotel was spotless and the room was cleaned daily . The service in the bar was excellent . The entertainment team were excellent , working hard throughout the day and evening . Night time entertainment was very good , the magician was very funny . Never a problem getting a sunbed and overall a lovely week long break
The rooms were standard with limited wardrobe space, balcony was large enough, shower was over the bath but powerful enough. The restaurant provided a wide range of food at meal times, with really well cooked dishes, however the restaurant itself is quite small so it can be busy especially around the serving areas so you don't have the chance to look at the options, early for breakfast and late for lunch and dinner give you the opportunity to have a good look at each dish. The staff work hard to serve you throughout the hotel. Around the pool can be busy with beds quite close together, but usually beds available at most times. Entertainment at night was varied to suit most people's needs but the bingo is not for me. The entertainment team put on various activities during the day for all to enjoy. Had a great time though and met some lovely people. Some great places just down from the hotel to watch glorious sunsets from with a supermarkets nearby.
Found the hotel very clean all the staff were very helpful & friendly and the food very good but not always as hot as it should be . The beer & spirits are ok too and didn't have to wait to get served at anytime during my stay . The pool isn't that big but wasn't that busy due to end of summer season. Have stopped at the other Globales hotel down the road in the past but preferred this one better .
Unforgettable… but for all the wrong reasons. The so-called tapas night felt more like a survival challenge than a dinner: the dining room was so overcrowded it resembled a packed tube carriage at rush hour, with unbearable noise that made it impossible to enjoy the meal. The buffet food was cold, as if it had been sitting there all evening “absorbing the atmosphere.” The only bright side were the three waiters, who were basically running a marathon around the dining room, giving 100% to try and keep everyone served. Honestly, it’s embarrassing that with so many guests they only staffed three people… unless management truly believed they had superpowers And then there was the maître d’ – stern, unfriendly, with such a sour expression that instead of making the experience better, it actually made you want to leave the dining room altogether Thanks to the two waitresses and the waiter, at least it wasn’t all bad. But if they can’t hire more staff, they simply shouldn’t take in so many customers.

Just returned home from a lovely weeks holiday at the Globales Cala Blancam, Menorca. We went all inclusive for the first time ever and am happy that we did. The hotel was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was very good as was the bar. Great Swimming Pool too. Our room was not the biggest we've had but it was clean and comfortable. We hardly moved from the Hotel as there was no need to, we had everything we wanted there.
Last minute booking to this hotel for myself, husband & 9 year old daughter ! Wow what can I say the place is brilliant, food excellent, the theme nights were amazing ! Rooms very clean and tidy and house keeping attended daily ! The whole hotel cleaned daily from top to bottom! All staff friendly and provide plenty of entertainment for adults & children Hotel situated near 2 beaches within a 15 minute walk and plenty of shops ! Highly recommend and we will return ! Thank you
Desayuno
I stayed at this hotel from 11th-18th August with my mum. We booked it 10 days before we travelled so wasn't expecting anything fantastic however, we were really pleased with what we found. The room was very clean and big enough for the two of us the only thing I would say is don't expect the air con to be fabulous , we were there during a heat wave and could've done with it being slightly more powerful. That being said it didn't disturb our sleep and we slept comfortably. The food choice was good for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly, if you're a beige person or a fussy eater then you will not find much to satisfy your taste. There was lots of fresh meat and fish available as well as beautiful ready made salads and various types of vegetables , rice etc. This is our preference to eat so we always found plenty to tuck into. Forget anything like chicken nuggets it just won't be there and rightly so when there is so much to choose from. Desserts were amazing , and the pistachio ice cream is one of the best I've tasted. Sunbeds - we didn't notice any problems and there were always plenty available. If you want to be front row round the pool then you'll need to be there early but we always got two and a parasol between 9-10am. The sunbeds themselves are a little uncomfortable they could maybe use some mattresses but that's my personal opinion. The hotel is a short walk to a beautiful small beach, the pool is smaller than some hotels I've stayed in but never felt over run even in the busier afternoons. Entertainment - there are some activities going on but they were away in the garden other than the water polo etc. Also in the evenings there is bingo and some sort of singer which was enjoyable and never went on too late nor was it heard from the room . One thing to note is that I witnessed a few people coming into the hotel with no wrist bands on more than one occasions , they were coming into through the gate by the pool which whilst they weren't causing problems, it may be a security issue for some. All in all I would return and would consider bringing my two teens next time. Well done Globales Cala Blanca !
We’ve just spent a week, all inclusive with our 3 year old son. Lots of other children there to make friends with and he loved both the kids pool and the larger pool. The food was great. There was always something different each day, themed evening meals and you’d always find something you’d like, though I loved it all! Room was as expected, housekeeping worked hard each day to keep them clean. Entertainment was good too. The 3 girls worked hard all day, and long days too, to keep everyone entertained. Day time activities were fun for children and adults alike. Evening entertainment was great, kids disco, bingo and various acts. The saxophonist was my favourite. A handy shop a 2 minute walk away for all essentials, local beach 5 min walk away and other towns a bus ride away. All staff were more than happy to help with a smile! All in all, a lovely family week spent at Globales Cala Blanca.
This was our 7th trip to the hotel been going over the last 20 years. First trip since COVID. The hotel has improved as well. Food is excellent good choice and well prepared. Staff brilliant and friendly. Room clean and refreshed every day if you want. Animation team great. Good choice of drinks and san Miguel beer. Grounds well kept and all very clean. Sunsets beautiful. Beach 5 minutes away was clean and well worth a paddle or swim. A few restaurants around the beach as well nice to stop and have s drink after the beach and also to support the locals. A 15 minutes away walk into Cala blanca for a nice stroll in the evenings. Restaurant’s good as well. We had a couple of meals out but food at the hotel is great. It’s a quieter resort which we like and appreciate. A thank you to all the staff for a great stay see you all again soon.
Stayed for a 4 night break , lovely little hotel , found it clean and room wasn’t fine . All staff were very friendly , bar staff were great at getting drinks quickly and not queuing for long , food was good with lots of choices . Had one day where we had trouble finding a couple of sun beds , and had to get chairs and sit on grass until some become available . In all great value and clean hotel , good staff all round , great for a little break in the sun
Prácticamente todo, la comida del bufet en general me ha gustado mucho
Nada
Fantastic stay this summer at this hotel. We were so impressed at how clean and well run it is here - staff always cleaning and making sure it’s all spotless. The range of food offered is amazing, such a choice at every meal time.. from salads, to meat cooked there and then, a pasta dish every time, tapas, pizza… they went above and beyond for each theme in the evenings. Mexican, Italian, American, Chinese - all fab. The pool is quite small and does get busy but early in the morning, lunchtime and late afternoon it does get quieter. Always plenty of sunbeds but if you do want a spot by the pool it’s best to reserve one early ( normally 7-8am) Entertainment team were great fun, lots going on each day! The evening was also great although if you are wanting to sit outside on the terrace you can really hear what’s going on inside - sometimes it’s nice to sit out with a bit of music at sunset. The area is quiet , we ate out a couple times at local restaurants and we took a taxi down to Cala n Bosch - we recommend this over the closer beach down the road which is smaller, harder to get a sunbed and as others have said has a pungent smell to it ! The taxi to Cala n Bosch beach took ten minutes and was well worth it ! Just the perfect week thanks to the staff , I will miss the lovely beds and the great quality of sleep
Posizione hotel.
Just got back from a lovely stay at the Cala Blanca. All staff are professional and extremely friendly. Rooms are very nice. Food is delicious. Pool super and outdoor seating is ample and comfy. Lovely lounge bar entertainment every night if that's what you want or take a.seat outside away from it. Beach within walking distance. Our only complaint was that there wasn't enough wardrobe space for a family of three. If you like to sit on your verandah on an afternoon, early evening don't get a pool view room. Great hotel.
