The casino even though I barely win it was fun

It doesn’t have a place for breakfast

room was nice. we were switched to a better room for the same price.

Took a while to check in. There were only two people checking people in. Also, the "high rollers" get to "cut" in line - very rude.

Resort is beautiful and well maintained.

Food was pricey and there was a bug in my drink. Also got accused of something we didnt do and had security come knock on our door at 10pm. Probably wont be back for that reason.

Too many restaurants and stores closed on Monday and Tuesday. Housekeeping noise in adjacent rooms at 7-8am Wed Kids running in hallways at 8am Tuesday

Very classy ,clean ,& the price was VERY reasonable.

Some of the staff in the hotel restaurants seemed non- chalant ( like they didn't want to be there ) .I came into two restaurants & wasn't even Acknowledged by the staff .Maybe they were busy to be fair, however I did make contact with 2 men and seemed to be bothered by a greeting.

We found no real breakfast being served. None of the staff, that we asked, seemed to know anything about a on-site breakfast restaurant.

Lot of cigarette smoke in casino. My personal beef, the smoke bothers my breathing. I wore a mask.

The valet lost my car. We arrived around 11 the night before and when I went to leave, they couldn't find it! Eventually, it was found. Wrong ticket isssued at check in.

I loved the vibe of the place and the rooms were very clean and the restaurants were very good. The staff was all accommodating and kind.

The pool was a little dirtier than I’d like to swim in. And although the rooms were nice the seemed a little dated.

Distance from hotel lobby and rooms and dining options closes early.

Power outage at hotel. I know it was out of their control, but they forced us to walk down multiple flights of stairs and I had a heart patient with me. Worst part is they told us the help was told to stay home and they kept the casino running. Very inconsiderate of their guests trying to leave.

Take better care of the. Facilities. Numbers in the elevator were difficult to read, ice machine on floor 8 was broken,several places where paint was bad.

The pool

There was blood stains in our room. We had to wait almost an hour before someone showed up to clean it. It was my wife's birthday and the last thing we wanted to do was wait on something that should have been done before we showed up. The staff seemed reluctant to help us until we got a manager on the phone. They only had 1 roll of toilet paper available in the room. We had to resort to using tissues.

I love that this resort is close to home, It makes for an easy get a way weekend or during the week.

I did not like the long wait at 4:00 check in, this along with lack of good customer service made me wish that I had reserved at an IHG hotel. My room was spacious comfortable however, I tripped several times over the unsecured throw rug that the bed sits on, and bruised my legs due to falling on the edge of the bed frame. There also dirt up under the throw rugs that need to be cleaned. The phone in room is useless may as well take those out. the view of the pool area, the lazy river, and the beach are amazing!!! And that alone made it all worth it.

The front desk staff are exceptional!! Our stay started off wonderful and the property is very nice.

My shoes were stolen by the lazy river. The water was disgustingly dirty and many people were allowed to sneak in. It is not safe and not sanitary!

Casino was very stingy compared to the Golden Nugget next door. Actually won money at Golden Nugget Casino vs. loosing it at L'Auberge Casino. The property was very elegant looking. Restaurants very pricy for food options.

Casino seemed very dated and machines were not as thrilling as it was next door at the Golden Nugget which we walked over to see.

Dinner at the Asian restaurant was outstanding ! Breakfast at t Mexican restaurant was very good! The casino was a lot of fun and entertaining We would definitely go back again for a stay, checkin was very easy and the lady that checked us in was very courteous

Exactly what it says on the tin - casino resort, decent golf course, bite size but enjoyable casino.

The only thing that was negative was the check in assistant- Louisiana is meant to be famous for its hospitality- this check in assistant didn’t say please or thank you once, didn’t smile once and didn’t make eye contact once - rude, obnoxious and disinterested…,

Food at Asia was yummy!

As I checked in I was told my room wasn’t ready which was a pool side view. We checked in our luggage w the bells man and had to come back for our luggage and room when it was ready. As I checked in went up stairs it wasn’t a pool side view. Was only competed $25. Also there were not enough tubs for the lazy river.

My wife enjoyed laying out by the pool reading while I was working.

Not getting out by the pool, but that was my fault.

The pool was fun. The Sundries shop and the deli across from the Sundries shop, and Dog & Daquaris were great with great staff / customer service and offereings. The Belll Hop staff and Valet were also super helpful and friendly. The overall vibe was really nice. The casino was lively and we enjoyed the variety of slot games. The attendant at the pool who assisted with wristbands and towels was also very sweet and helpful.

A few of the pool staff however were not as cheerful or enthusiastic about helping. Infact the girl behind the counter manning the adult pool bar was very short / rude and never smiled. When we had a question regarding the drink bill her quick reply was, "You drink, You pay". Paying was not the issue. The issue was that we were overcharged as per the itemized ticket. She offered no help. Out of frustration, my husband paid the bill. We were overcharged by $56 (4 margaritas @ $14.00 that we did not order. My suggestion is pay as you go. Don't run a tab.

Nice rooms. And easy check in . We had a restful stay. I would recommend this hotel. They have mini refrigerator to keep meds or other.

Just a heads up that the spa has been closed since February for renovations. They are hopeful for it to open in 2027 but things are going slow.

The power went out in the middle of the night. So no lights, ac, or elevator. We had to cut our trip short. Staff was not friendly or very helpful. When asked anything their response was always "I just got here. I don't know what is going on."

Lazy river was great. Appreciate to shade in both the river (bridges) and the chairs. Restaurants - great variety and no waiting - except for Asia. 20 minutes was too much. Draft beer was good and cold! Bed was very comfortable. Top cover is a bit hot at night. Pillows are a bit hard. Slept well

See above. Hate that you are so close to the refineries. Would be nice to look out and just see water and grass.

They never cleaned our room We were only there 2 nights but would appreciate clean towels & a made bed. The restaurants were so so…. The staff was friendly and helpful

The location was good. Very clean. Liked the balcony view. Easy access off IH 10. Liked the Casino.

We ordered a sandwich from Modern Pan. It was good but greasy and it arrived to our room with no napkins. Unacceptable for the price we paid for it. One person that checked us in when our room was ready was good but not to friendly...didnt smile or act happy.

Elevator to room was an extremely long walk for elderly. Ask to be as close to elevator as possible, didn’t happen

Lightning prevented us from using the pool and the lazy river. Lightning shut down all outdoor activities including the concert which we paid in full. This was NOT the fault of L'auberge, We do so love the lazy river and asked if we could get a one-day pass in the future. Staff said no. That was the only disappointment.

We only wish we could have enjoyed your lazy river, lunch by the pool and swim up bar.

The weather turned rainy for the outdoor concert, but the pool and lazy river was really nice.

There was a lot to do on the property. The lazy river and pool areas were great. The room itself was nice and big. The views of the lake are amazing and a treat to wake up to each day.

The bedding had a few stains. I'm from Texas so my standard of friendliness is high. The staff were nice enough but not friendly. More like down to business. I didn't love the shower situation because there was no ledge or anything to put your own products on while you were in there.

Fantastic hotel. Gorgeous location. Unreal how big it is. So much going on. Cool beach outside. Great views from the hotel. An American fever dream.

Noisy!! You can hear everyone in the hall. They were not being loud. I think it’s the door letting in all the noise. I had to call security at 4:00 am to come have the room next door turn down their music.

We went during the week, Tuesday thru Thursday. Most of the restaurants in the resort were closed. Also, they no longer have the transport going back and forth between them and the Nugget. That's hard for customers that love both facilities but have problems walking that far.

Breakfast at Johnny Sanchez. It was good, but I was hoping for room service.

Or bed was so uncomfortable. I was hoping for room service because we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary. We couldn't get the phone to work. I finally realized that the speaker would work, but not the handset. I couldn't reach anyone! Noone would answer their phones, so I gave up. Couldn't reach the front desk, so I finally had to get out of bed and walk downstairs to ask questions, and they were no help at all.

Very clean and had a parking garage.

I reserved a king room with a stand alone shower but it was not ready at check in time. I ended up with a double queen room and a tub/shower combination.
