Best Western Plus Fredericton Hotel & Suites

Super clean and had everything we needed in the rooms

Close to everything. All well maintained and equipped.

Noting

The staff were friendly. The room was clean. I did hear some scratching coming from the bathroom walls, not sure what that was....we were on the first floor.

I was disappointed with the disposable plates and plastic forks. The best western in Saint John uses regular plates and silverware. I shutter to think of the amount of waste generated.

The beds are like sleeping in a hammock so my back has been sore ever since

Breakfast was good

Mattress and pillows were not comfortable and didn’t sleep at night. Fridge didn’t work and had to throw out all food and medications.

The shower was exceptionally nice.

The pancake machine was not working.

Bon petit- déjeuner. Personnel avenant.

A nice place to stay the night. It was great having the pool. The breakfast selection was very welcomed in the morning.

I cannot think of anything that stands out.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very nice. Clean facilities nice building

At about 5:30 the traffic started out on the highway. It sounds like the vehicle is right outside an open window. Very loud on the road side for sure, likely better on the other side of building in even number rooms.

Very nice room and good breakfast. Good parking, Very clean facility and nice staff.

Nice comfy beds

Best Western Plus gebucht - Best Western Plus bekommen. Für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp sehr gut.

The shower was amazing and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning unit worked very well.

Can't really complain about anything. Our stay was wonderful.

Loved the bed. Very comfortable, especially the pillows.

Pancake making machine was out of order. Hot tub was too crowded to use.

My partner, my two teens, and I stayed for 2 nights in one of the new deluxe rooms. First the good: The hotel and room was exceptionally clean with new, modern finishings. This is by far the most important factor to me when choosing a hotel, and it appears there are only 2-3 hotels in Fredericton that meet that criteria. The staff were also very friendly. They accomodated every request as best they could. I got locked out of my room at one point and they didn't hesitate to provide a new card for me. On the other hand, the services and amenities were lacking: There is no restaurant. There is a small breakfast buffet area that serves a hot continental breakfast (included in the price of the room), which was ok but nothing special. The same buffet room is also apparently a cocktail lounge that serves a small lunch menu, despite having no kitchen. I didn't see anyone manning the bar throughout our stay. The pool is clean, but small and shallow. The smell of chlorine is overpowering. The pool area looks new, so I wonder why they didn't go with a salt-water pool like many other places are doing now. The pool-side towels are tiny and thin -- you'll need more than one to dry off and you can't cover up with them. The cable channel list is small and the TV is not a smart TV, so streaming is not an option unless you want to rig something up yourself. There wasn't even an HDMI cable included. I went down to the front desk to ask for one and they didn't have any. My partner ended up going to Walmart to buy an HDMI cable just so we could watch a movie. The phone is not set up properly. It doesn't connect to the front desk or room service (I don't think they even have room service) so any time we needed something I had to go down to the lobby. It does have a dial tone so I assume it can dial out, but I had no need to try that. The mattresses were very soft, which I prefer, but they were a bit worn so they sag. Often when I stay at a hotel I get a better sleep than at home because, but this time I woke up with back pain both mornings. The air conditioning unit seemed to have broken while we were there. The first day it worked fine and was reasonably quiet, but I turned the temp down on the second night and though it blew cold air, it made the most awful noise. It was like trying to sleep next to a running transport truck. It was too loud to sleep, so I ended up shutting it off and opening the windows instead, which didn't cool the room much. The toiletries (shampoo, soap, conditioner) are in pump-dispenser bottles attached to the shower wall, and our conditioner was empty. I didn't notice this until I was already washing my hair. Overall, the place was very clean, which is the most important thing and really should be the bare minimum for a hotel to be operating. But the poor services and amenities are far from luxury and don't justify the mid-to-high-end price point.

Location was perfect

Merci

Rien

Convenient location and very nice hotel overall. Breakfast was really good!

We were 5 in a suite but they only had towels for 4. Only 3 hand towels and facecloth. Slight inconvenience because we just had to go to desk and request more, but i feel that they knew we were 5 so there should have had enough towels ready in room.

Lit confortable

Spa hors d'usage

Breakfast included, pool and hot tub. Staff were great and room was clean and comfortable.

One of few available hotels in area that could accommodate a family of six in one room. It was a bit tight but it worked. The lineup for breakfast was challenging. Many didn’t know which way the line was moving.

Nice location, clean and well laid out

Beds way too soft

Great hotel, clean. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Area is close to restaurants and attractions. Large parking lot.

Great place to stay on driving trip from Ontario to Nova Scotia, with breakfast and pool included. Loved the coffee machine. Kind staff.

End of one of the beds sagged (Room 413).

Beds were so comfortable. It was easy to get to from the highway so location was not scenic. Breakfast was good

No complaints

Bien situé et confortable

It’s excellent; there is a dedicated elevator, making it very convenient when bringing pets along.

Clean and comfortable

We went for Breakfast at 0830, no scrambled eggs, no beans and no breakfast sausage available, containers were empty so we left

Beds were comfortable but sofa bed was not.

Sofa bed

Breakfast was satisfactory. Two tour buses overwhelmed the breakfast. Good move to have a coffee bar outside the breakfast room.

The congestion at the front desk and breakfast room.

Great location, nice size rooms, breakfast included

Breakfast staff smelled like they hadn’t showered in 4-5 days, orange juice was gross tasting, apple juice was overly sweet. muffins were stale and dry They need to clean the pool - the chlorine could be smelled from the farthest entry. Wifi sucked!

The staff were all friendly and hekpful

The light in our bathroom stopped working in the middle of the night and as there was only one light in the bathroom it was very difficult to see. There should be a back-up light. The pillows are WAY too firm. The heating/cooling fan was very noisy and there were no directions explaining how to mitigate that.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly.

The breakfast area was a little chaotic.

This hotel nails all the basics - quick check-in, ample parking, great shower, comfy bed, lots of pillows, large room, and good breakfast. Makes a great stop on a road trip.

Facilities are a bit older though well taken care of an clean.

Propreté, accueil

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly. We booked the biggest room (from what I was told) and it was a tight squeeze for 2 adults and 3 kids, with 2 being in pack and plays. Overall, it was a good hotel for one night. Staff the next morning during the breakfast were very friendly. Lots of options for adults and kids. Overall it was a good hotel. No major complaints.

Freundliches Personal.

Eine zweite Kofferablage wäre sehr praktisch.

Localisation prêt de l'autoroute. Tranquillité pour dormir Déjeuner varié

The mattress was very soft!

Avoir eu un service en français.

It was conveniently located.

The air conditioner in the room was very loud.

Propre, clean, bed confortable,nice staffe

All is good

Great room, great shower, nice sitting area, good breakfast, well staffed.

The bed, it was to be a king and was so small so not sure it was a king. The bed was way to soft, it was so uncomfortable to sleep in.

Clean rooms and halls

Clean, friendly staff

Very close to the highway and it was very pricey

They had a delicious breakfast with many varieties.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the facilities met our needs perfectly. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

Overall, we had a great experience. The only minor issues were that complimentary slippers/flip-flops were not provided in the room, and the wait during check-in was a little longer than expected. That said, the front desk staff remained polite and courteous throughout the process.

Very clean, lots of pillows! Openable window was appreciated. Very quiet.

Carpeted.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as expected and much more. The breakfast time was ending when we arrived but the two kind ladies let us in and helped us choose our food and coffee. We will return.

Clean friendly

Elevator slow

Location and friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were great

Breakfast was sometimes hit or miss. Gym equipment was not all functional, one treadmill and elliptical not working

Clean hotel with breakfast including.

Not really the hotel’s fault, but kids were running up and down the hallway and it was quite noisy even at 2am.

Comfortable mattress, good pillows. Quite AC, fresh air from opening window. Clean room, good supplies. Good location.

Nothing

It was very well layed out, clean and the check in staff was excellent

it was very spacious and nice to come too.

The room wasn’t super clean. We also had to request room service on our 3rd day. We were a family of 5, staying 4 nights, and after a few days we needed more towels (towels don’t really dry in the room), toilet paper etc but no one was cleaning the room.

Breakfast was ok but could have had a bit more variety.

The boiled eggs did not even taste like real eggs. Some bacon would have been a great addition.

It was very clean and comfortable

Some of the staff were rude.

Professional, go the extra mile accommodating staff, sweet dispositions...breakfast was typical, choices were limited for a diabetic or heart issue client as mostly carb and fat driven foods available. Clean environment...Room was terrific and the bed was so comfortable as well as the pillows. The fridge and setting room area were the bomb! Appreciated the 10% off coupon for a local restaurant who happened to be serving buy one get one free on their wings. Very happy with the staff, room and checkin/out. Close to highway and downtown.

Limited choices for diabetic, cardiac etc clients for breakfast. My husband could only eat the boiled egg. There wasn't even any cheese or cottage cheese which would have been another protein for him. There were apples and bananas for fruit. Which he did have an apple (bananas are bad for diabetics because of sugars.) Thank you for asking and listening.

Very well-done rooms, clean, modern and indoor pool great for kids to splash around in.

Nothing bad to say

Bon déjeuner

Staff were great. Beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom. Near grocery store. Good coffee machine at breakfast! Parking.

Air conditioner was loud.

The staff were very helpful and they listen to your concerns

It took too long for your room to be cleaned on a daily basis. Out early in the morning out for about 7 hours and room still not ready.

Sure. The breakfast was very disappointing. It was exactly the same every day, and not even one item changed from the day before. Also, some of the bananas were green and not ripe, and the bean container was often empty. Regarding the room, I had to change my room once because the heater was making too much noise, which was very uncomfortable. Overall, the breakfast and room experience did not meet my expectations.

All amenities are amazing

The staff were excellent, the room was clean and well appointed.

It was a clean property with the basic needs

Well placed and well kept

I had a knock early in the morning from the door that leads into the parking area and that scared me. I did report the next morning to the staff at reception.

Very clean and quiet
