Property is beautiful
The workers were not nice unless their manager was there. The lady who did my toe nails yelled at me when I smudged one by accident. They don’t provide spa shoes for after fyi. For the price, the pedicure was not good. Polish is outdated and color choices are low
muy bueno
en la habitación se sentía un olor como a cloaca deben tener cuidado con eso
Super eco lodge
The smooth and courteous check-in with the Balinese welcome drink ! The luxurious nature around, the Buddha Path and the garden. The private beach. The Chilling Nook near the pool with the "Take one leave one " book exchange option. The Yoga Temple. The Zen and calm of the place. The balance between modern and rustic in the bathrooms. The mosquito nets above the beds. The variety of activities offered.
The billing service at the night restaurant needs some improvements. I got charged for something I did not order. When I realized that, I asked to correct it and it was quickly done, however this experience could have been avoided.

El ambiente selvático frente a la playa! La desconexión es alucinante. Se descansa muy bien.
El pago, al ser elevado por ser un hotel boutique, debe incluir algunas amenidades más. No pueden cobrar por todo, eso arruina un poco la experiencia.
Schöne Bungalos in gepflegter Anlage, sehr bequeme Betten
Clean and quiet
The toilet was not working properly but was resolved quickly after letting the staff know.
The rules and attention of the staff creates a respectful and quiet environment perfect for a weekend to unwind and have fun.
Nothing wrong that standout enough to mention it here.
Todo, la atención, las instalaciones, todo

Clean room
I cannot explain how good this hotel is. A top 10 in everything.
Natura was unique and special! Excellent staff and hotel!!
Overall I had a great stay. The staff was so nice and the property was beautiful. My only thing is the ac in the room was not strong and it was very hot to sleep at night. Besides that, it was great. Food and drinks were great and the beach was so nice and clean.
amazing place great spa
This was one of the most peaceful, beautiful and amazing experiences I’ve had. This hotel was a 10 out of 10! The staff was exceptional!!! I can’t wait for my next stay!
We LOVED this property and hope to stay there again! The ONLY issue we had is with trash/litter … the property itself is very clean but the areas around the property have litter & trash and even some on the beaches and sand areas in front of the property. I think this is a constant battle for them, but it would help if there were more trash cans for the public! Other than that we can’t say enough great things about the property - beautiful, felt safe, stunning view, lovely and private. The staff was wonderful. We truly loved it!
Cool zen vibes
Todoooo
You feel like you’re in a tropical rainforest when you first walk onto the property, as you continue it turns into a beach paradise! The cabana’s are super cool, we stayed in Piedra, highly recommend requesting that one, very close to the beach, you could see the ocean while laying down in bed! The staff is wonderful and friendly, especially Rosa who has such sweet energy!
Use caution while using any of there swings, hammocks, or hanging nets! They are not up to USA standards! My fiancé was using the hammock chair that was attached to our cabana and it broke while he was on it. He sustained some scratches and bruises, the wood pole did hit him in the forehead. It could have been a lot worst but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Ultimately the metal ring was rusted and should have been replaced a while ago. When brought to staff attention, little concern was placed on the whole ordeal. No compensation nor solution was brought forth on behalf of the host which is disappointing and unprofessional. I would have put 10/10 if it wasn’t for this accident and how it was handled.
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION! Great staff!
Beautiful relaxing and laidback. Very friendly staff and amazing food.
Maybe better beach loungers.
Perfect experience! The place is absolutely incredible and the staff is really welcoming! The classes of yoga (and others) are great. And the menu for the breakfast, the lunch and the dinner are really good! We highly recommend and if we come in republic Dominican again we will come back for sure! Thank you so much!
This is our third time in the Dominican Republic and this is the third time we have stayed here. We love this place - the staff, the service, the food, the accommodations- all top notch!
This was our mini honeymoon my husband and I took before we left the Dominican Republic and we had the best time at Natura Cabana! So thankful to the whole team for providing a great experience. We loved the pool, spa, and took advantage of the yoga classes and free breakfast!
A very nice location right on the beach Lovely staff Special design
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room and balcony which made it impossible to stay outside. The kids beds had small mosquito net that didn’t cover the whole bed so sleeping was not easy The food was OK but very slow. There is a yoga place but the lessons are extra charge
We really liked the location. The included breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty and fairly priced. The staff was very helpful, friendly and made us feel welcomed.
The outside beach bar was not open but there was a bar at the property next door. There wasn't alot of available bottled water readily available but we brought our own which came in handy.
The cabanas were nice and comfortable. The hotel was right on the beach. The onsight cafe had excellent and fresh food and juices.
The pillows weren't the most comfortable and hot water is spotty. You often can't take longer than a 5 minute shower before it is cold.
Natura Cabana was perfect! Excellent food, steps from the beach, staff were lovely, massage was great - what more could you need? In particular, Victor went above and beyond and helped my wife get her AirPods back after we had left for another hotel in a different part of the island. We will definitely return!
I loved everything about this hotel, will definitely return
There was no water when I woke up, it came back about 5 mins. Which wasn’t too much of an inconvenience, they might have been doing repairs.
Our stay at the property was out of this world. We had such an amazing time. The food was good, only hiccup was dinner. They try to create an American style menu which is okay, but would have preferred more local cuisines. Staff was friendly, beach was beautiful and secluded. Our room was very clean and I have to say the design was great. I am looking forward to going back with my kids since this time was a couple trip. Thank you having us. One last thing, we did a romantic dinner on the beach. Very impressed with the attention, candle lights and service. Highly recommend trying it.
Property is gorgeous! The beach is small but secluded feeling and everything is really relaxing. The staff are all super nice and accommodating. Their food is delicious!
At times it smells like sewer, especially when heavy rains happen. The price is a bit steep. Not worth full asking price, only when you can get a lower promotional rate. Restaurants are WAY overpriced.
The staff is the absolute best! Quiet, serene and gorgeous!
If you are looking for a quiet, intimate place, with a lovely connection between a tropical forest and a beach, this is the place.
Rustic setting, nice natural accommodations. Rooms are a bit uncomfortable during hot days due to lack of a/c. There are no TVs. Some of the restaurant staff are not too friendly. Some are very nice and professional. If you are into yoga, nature and don’t mind not having a/c and tv, it’s fine.
Such a relaxing and pleasant experience. All of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and gave us everything we needed. The facilities were super clean and accessible at all times. The views of the beach and surrounding areas were amazing.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, but pricey compared to outside places and prices. The beach was also a bit rough and a lot of waves for swimming, which they do not inform you about in the hotel reviews and descriptions. When I asked the hotel staff about swimming in the beach they assured me it would be safe to swim.
The quietness, peacefulness friendly staff, eco friendly
The hotel is inside a gated community which felt very safe. It was on the beach which was beautiful. I stayed with my family at the beginning or the low season it wasn’t crowded at all which was wonderful. The restaurant food and staff were amazing, the hotel concierge were super nice and friendly. The spa girl was great. The rooms were clean and near and beautiful. Some helpful tools for future guests would be to bring your own toiletries and plenty of bug spray. Even with the mosquito nets provided my daughter, my parents and myself got bit up pretty good by mosquitoes which could’ve easily been prevented if we came prepared. My parents’ only qualm was that they would’ve preferred a chair in the room to sit for miscellaneous reasons, like after their shower a place to sit to put on their shoes or whatnot-but the bed is the only place to sit or lay in the room. The entrance seating area is beyond beautiful with the hammock. Just minor quirks but beautiful place nonetheless.
We loved our stay at Natura Cabana. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Food options were great. The property is right on the beach and the pool area is nice. The property felt safe and secluded and so are the surrounding areas. Also, the spa!!! We had the best facials. Can't wait to return!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Natura Cabana. The food was excellent especially the included breakfast! The beach area is beautiful with blue waters at perfect temperatures. We loved the relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
Beautiful property with amazing amenities. The breakfast is included and delicious. So many vegan options. The location is prime, right on the beach. My cabana was comfortable and convenient. The yoga classes were peaceful and the instructors were nice and helpful. I can't wait to come back. The location is an easy drive to the downtown area. The property is gated and therefore feels very safe. Highly recommend!
Went with my husband and two kids (5 and 7) and we had a fabulous time! Kids loved the hanging nets and playing in the waves. Caution, these are big waves for small kids, but mine adore it! The yoga space is beautiful and I loved my spa scrub and mud wrap. The best was the food and drinks. Best I've had in the Dominican and even any Caribbean vacations we've been on. Thank you!!
The staff is very friendly and super helpful. They were more than happy to set up excursions, taxi rides into nearby Sousa and Cabarete and were extra patient with all our questions and providing information. The coast line is gorgeous and walkable on beach and grassy paths. You are pretty secluded with not much within walking distance so we mostly are at the hotel which was great for us. The property is really quite special and you can’t beat their yoga classes overlooking the ocean. Actually you can hear the ocean from pretty much ever spot on the property. You can arrange horseback riding right from the hotel. It’s much more laid back than some of the larger resorts near by. It’s is about a 2 hour walk into Cabarete on the coast which we did one day. It was a gorgeous walk. I’d definitely recommend Natura Cabana to anyone looking for a laid back vacation in nature. Ps no AC but we didn’t need it last week of February!
Lovely cabins on the ocean, very beautiful and clean. Staff is amazing and helpful. Close to Cabarete town by car 10 minutes
Excellent service, beautiful cabanas properly designed for breezes to eliminate need for AC. Enough variety in the menu at the two restaurants. Great juices and smoothies
Our favorite stay in the DR by far! Property is gorgeous and the staff and guests are both laid back and friendly. Spring for a massage as they are affordable and excellent. Food was great with many options for varied diets. I don’t drink alcohol and really appreciated the delicious mocktail menu. We are a married couple traveling without our kids, but the facility is child- and baby-friendly and all children we saw there were remarkably well-behaved. Our cabana was gorgeous with a great mattress. We loved lazing on the porch with its comfy hammock. We didn’t spend time at the pool with the ocean right there, but it was clean and a comfortable temperature. The property arranged multiple drivers for us, and they were extremely punctual (even in the very early morning) and well worth the cost. Maximo drove us to the waterfalls and dropped us at our next hotel in Puerto Plata afterward, and he was great. Highly recommend!
Our cabana was next to the office and could get a bit loud at night when people were walking past. That is literally the only thing I can think of.
Very good location for quiet and comfortable stay. Not many small bungalows on quite big land. Good breakfast with nice ocean view. You can see that the owners care about quality. Super friendly service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We recommend.
I just spent two weeks at this amazing little boutique hotel. The beach is very private and calming. The reception/ management staff are extremely helpful and the food is terrific here.
Everything. This place is a diamond! Food was great, the room I stayed in spectacular and the people incredibly friendly. Would recommend 100%
Everything was great!
Amazing welcome and hospitality. Recommend for a couple days stay at least. Yoga classes, pool, beach, restaurants on site. It’s a great stay in the nature to relax.
Nice quiet, natural place. During hot months, it gets quite hot incide the room.
Privacy, beach front.
August is a hot month, so it was a bit stuffy. Not the hotel's fault, but something to keep in mind when booking.
It is a perfect paradise. Everything was divine, yoga and spa and food and service. I will be back. P.S. i am picky person, it is hard to make me happy, and I really believe this hotel is perfect.
Like: close to the shore. Could be better: ac
Amazing place. Quiet and tranquil and beautiful.
Very clean and unique, great experience!
Everything was wonderful
Beautiful, Quiet , Relaxing
What a paradise! Natural Cabana is such a beautiful place with lots of plants that you feel like surrounded by nature but still can enjoy cozy room, delicious food and warm service. I spent 4 nights in Natural Cabana. They gave me the most beautiful one bed cabana I think which can see ocean but still keep some privacy. The décor inside is one of the most beautiful cabanas I have ever stayed at this price. It has a nice kitchen, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. I really like its white stone walls which give the room an earthy charm that connects you to the nature. This was my first and only trip that I stayed at one place for a few days without planning any activities and it allowed me to enjoy fully what Natural Cabana offered. The food provided by both restaurants were fabulous. I tried 3 different breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The organic garden salad was so fresh with tasty dressing. The churrasco was very tender and well seasoned. Breakfast were all provided in big portion. I really like traditional breakfast with Dominican salami and Mangú, and also omelette. I took yoga classes in 3 mornings to start a day and it was so nice to be companied by sounds of ocean waves and singing of thrushes and bananaquits. I also tried spa once and I was not sure if it was my imagination but I felt some of the mosquito bites on my legs became smaller and not itchy next day. And yes the only problem was mosquitos so make sure you bring mosquito repellent or you can buy one from their shop. I was so glad to find Natural Cabana and it was the only reason I chose to go to the northern beach because most of resorts in Dominican Republic are very modern and artificial which don’t fit my taste. Natural Cabana provided calm and peace that I was looking for to really clear my mind and recharge for my next life challenge. I really appreciated the staff’s effort to keep it a charming gateway to soothe a traveler’s heart and soul.
no
Exceptional , kind, friendly service. The grounds are beautiful and clean. Our cabaña was comfortable and clean and over looked the pool area - which was perfect for our children. Steps to the beach and dining areas.
We were disappointed the beach bar wasn't open while we were staying (sun-tuesday) we were looking forward to a cocktail in that space. We ordered from the restaurant, which was good. We would have liked to have more towels readily available. No problems asking for them, but we had 6 in our room and 4 towels.
the property is incredible, just by the beach and the staff is beyond wonderful
I liked everything
I absolutely love this place! The facilities are amazing, and so well kept up for the very natural elements! Breakfast is fantastic, staff is just wonderful. Wifi is better than it was last year. Perfection!
By far one of my most favorable trips to ever! From the cabanas to the food options to the private beach to the amazing massages. This hidden gem doesn’t disappoint! It has now and forever been my new home away from home.
cute place, great location, it’s a nice experience to enjoy in DR. the rooms don’t look amazing inside to be honest, the hotel needs a refurbishment and better quality on beds, pillows, sheets …. they choose for us a room named: coral… not nice at all, zero privacy, loud, close to the streets, open and very visible from outside, if people walk to come inside of the hotel you heard clearly the cracking of the stones. they changed to us to another room the next morning, as we could not sleep property there and finished walking up 6am… and at 8am the cleaner started to use the vacuum ( sounded like she was vacuuming on my head lol )… the room name was Africana, the outdoors of the room was dirty I guess because they don’t use the room often… this room was clean and comfortable but the beds where really bad too. regardless…. nice place, great location, nice staff, nice food at the resultants, nice drinks…. it’s worthy, they just need to refurbish and that’s it! go there anyways!
Beautiful resort right on the beach. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Unique property situated on private stretch of beach. Rustic, as expected. Excellent front desk staff. Not much within walking distance of property.
Just beautiful and tranquil!
The setting was amazing. The rooms were great. The private porch, with the view/sound of the ocean, was incredible. The restaurants were very good. The staff were all-around generous and helpful.
restaurant prices were higher than I hoped (and you either needed a car or a taxi to get to other options). but the food portions and food quality were excellent.
So I believe there was only one breakfast option I could eat as someone who does not eat eggs or meat but I know my partner really enjoyed their meal. The Staff is AMAZING, so kind and accommodating. Rosa at reception really went over and above to make sure we were comfortable. The pool looked lovely although with the beach so close we didn't even try it. Very lovely beach, very quiet with no large crowds. The water can be very choppy depending on the day. We visited the spa and had great services. I had a facial and the skin was very happy with me afterward.
A couple of our pillows smelt really bad like they had taken too long to dry after washing. Just bad.
Cabana was clean and fun, and we loved our 2nd-story balcony, though most were less private. Reading light in bedroom was not adequate, and gym was not really equipped. We did not take advantage of spa or yoga classes, but loved the breakfast. Beach was private, but a bit rough and rocky for swimming. Dining on premises or nice pizza cafe in walking distance. Event the first night was crowded, but otherwise the hotel was peaceful.
There was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about this property. It was everything that I wanted and more. Staff and food were amazing, lots of bean bags, hammocks, and places to just unwind and relax. Private beach right there, and Cabarate very near by.
This property was beautiful and tranquil. We loved our hut and the visits made by a lovely little kitty! The staff was very helpful and nice! The food was very good and the complimentary breakfast each morning amazing!
Common areas, we feel like staying in a jungle near the sea
