Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Great location with free street parking right outside. Our room had a small balcony and we could see the sea. Large en-suite with great shower. Really lovely reception person Monica who welcomed us.
The room was small and the position of the bed and dressing table made it very difficult to get to wardrobe and other side of the bed. Breakfast was chaotically laid out as a buffet. Poor choice of food and they had put out completely rotten bananas. Breakfast staff did not acknowledge us or offer any help with regard to sitting ourselves and did not take our room number.

Soy Celiaco, de comida, muy muy limitado y escaso. Y solo hubo pan sin gluten en 4 desayunos. Nada más. Y por otro lado. El deterioro de las instalaciones o falta de mantenimiento. Grifos rotos, fugas de agua y las almohadas, de lo peor. Ahora a fisioterapia y masajes.

Un poco antiguo y viejo, cuarto de baño viejito, necesita reforma y modernizacion. Al igual que la piscina, muy descuidada, tenia una funda de lona plastica para forrar la piscina, y estaba rota en varios sitios. Necesita reforma urgente. Hubo ruidos en la habitacion de arriba durante todo el dia, como si estubieran moviendo muebles o reformando algo.

No le daría ni 3 estrellas, muy anticuado, la habitación pequeña y sin puertas en los armarios ( se veía que las tenía quitadas), la cama regular. El bufet con poca variedad, llevaba media pensión y fué un auténtico error, la segunda noche nos fuimos a cenar a la calle, si vas con niños que no son de buen comer tienes un problema porque no hay apenas nada para ellos, en fin ,un error cogerlo, no repetiría. El personal de recepción un poco secos.

Pool wasn't opened for 6/7 days of our stay. When booking the hotel it said there was a gym available, but we were informed this was also closed/broken. No lobby bar despite signs to say there was one. Customer service of the staff wasn't amazing, they didn't seem to be very bothered about our complaints with the facilities, and have yet to offer us any form of compensation despite hesitantly saying they would sort something for us. Overall we were pretty disappointed with our stay.

Unfortunately the gym and pool were shut for most of our visit for routine maintenance. We believe we should have been informed of this before our stay so we could make a decision if this hotel was right for us.

o pequeno almoço podia ser mais variado. Pouca fruta disponível e o estado do ananás e melão apresentados não era aceitável. Cadeiras muito sujas. A limpeza geral não é satisfatória. Começando pelo tapete da entrada do hotel, passando pela carpete no corredor dos quartos ... até ao chão da varanda da suite. Posso dizer que as cadeiras do refeitório de pequeno almoço estavam muito sujas e tive de ver várias para escolher uma para me sentar. Nota-se que o hotel no geral já apresenta um desgaste muito grande em todos os equipamentos e decoração. Está completamente ultrapassado dando um aspecto desleixado e feio. Devo dizer que a seguir à minha estadia no vosso hotel fiquei no hotel Dom José e pelo mesmo preço a experiência foi totalmente diferente a todos os níveis!

No site avia duas opções de cama, 2 de solteiro ou uma de casal, selecionei casal, cheguei lá era duas de solteiro juntas que durante a noite se separava. Paguei o valor normal com intenções de usar o ginásio e a piscinas, ambos estavam indisponíveis, acho que devia ter sido aviso com antecedência pois estou pagando o valor cair para poder utilizar tudo oq tenho direito. Mandei mensagem para o hotel pedindo para mudar o horário de check in, fui respondida que seria possível alterar, quando cheguei falaram que era mensagem automática, acho que deviam deixar claro que não há possibilidades de trocar o horário, pois eu fiz planos e tive que mudar em cima da hora.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Le personnel était agréable, surtout Monsieur Pedro. Le petit déjeuner était correct et il y avait un peu de tout. L'hôtel est bien situé lorsqu'on veut faire de la plage.
La chambre n'était pas très propre (beaucoup de poussière au sol et le contour des fenêtres de la salle de bain étaient noires. Nous avions réservé cet hôtel ayant accès à une piscine pour pouvoir profiter en cas de vent et/ou d'impossibilité de se baigner dans la mer et nous n'avons pas pu l'utiliser, car il y avait des travaux à côté de l'hôtel. Très décevant, nous n'avons pas eu d'informations à ce sujet, uniquement le jour du départ et il semblerait que les gens qui réservent sur Booking n'ai pas les mêmes informations que ceux qui passent par leur site.

Reviewed May 26, 2026The location was ideal for walks on the esplanade that takes you all the way to Vilamoura. There is a number of great bars and restaurants to have your lunch of evening meal. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast each morning which was included, but I would rate it only a 6/10 as the plates were very small and the selection limited.
As we stayed in April maybe the facilities weren’t quite ready as the pool area was being worked on and although they had the space in the lobby, nobody actually sat there to chill unless waiting for a taxi. The view from our window was not “ocean view”, but rather the stagnant green water of a disused swimming pool next door, not nice at all.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Great location beside the beach and lovely view from our room on the eighth floor. Staff at reception were very nice and helpful. Very quiet and had a good sleep. Breakfast was good with all that you need to fill up on.
There were cups and a kettle in the room but no tea, coffee, milk or sugar supplied - there was a list in the room with these items that you had to pay for them and they were quite pricey - never seen this before in a hotel as they have always been supplied.

To be honest, I hated it. I payed 128€ per night, and it was not worth it. I booked the room for me and my wife at least 1 month before going, I wanted a room for a couple, and we needed to sleep in a bed with a hole between us, separating us, because the hotel would only give us the room that they have available at the time you get there. I payed and booked a completely different room! The mattress was crooked, kind of curved. Horrible to sleep. The bathroom sink was clogged and they did nothing. They had the smallest shower I’ve ever seen in my life. It was terrible taking a shower, splashing it all around and getting everything wet. It was not a cheep hotel, 128€ per night? It’s not worth it! Don’t go!

Deux personnes n’ont pas pu venir pour raison de santé, averti une semaine avant pour libérer la chambre, mais aucun remboursement ne nous a été fait…..la prochaine fois ne libérait pas la chambre, ça leur permet de relouer la chambre 2 fois, sans rembourser l’autre……pas bien…
