This property is beautiful and the service was great. Location is easy to access and is centrally located close to the marina and shopping.

First time to Loreto and La Mision was close to everything we wanted. The room was clean and provided everything expected for a weekend getaway. Gorgeous sunrises! (Okay, that was Mother Nature. But we were able to watch the show from our balcony.) August is not for the faint of heart as it was HOT during the days. Nothing the hotel can do about that. The Sunday brunch was worth hitting before heading home!

This hotel is beautiful. Perfect location to fit our schedule. Only thing I didn't like is that there is no refrigerator in the rooms. It is very, very hot down there and you need one to keep your drinks cold. Front desk was cordial. The massages were nice but a little pricy for my taste. The restaurant was great. The staff Jaffeth, Tulio, Javier & Victor were AMAZING! They made us feel so welcoming every time we visit them. Breakfast, lunch & dinners were delicious. Sunday brunch was also very good. We really didn't have to eat anywhere else. The Pizza kitchen connected to the pool was perfect. The staff made our departure so memorable. Looking forward to seeing them all very soon.

The property was beautiful and quiet. You are directly across from the ocean (Marina & Malecon area). Los Olivos restaurant which is located in hotel on second floor and outdoor pool bar/pizzeria (brick oven) is nice.

This place is perfect! Right on the water, service and cleanliness is off the scale. They do a great job in every aspect to make your stay memorable. Javier at the restaurant in the morning then the pool bar after makes this place even better… definitely look out for him he’ll make your stay even better

Very nice staff. Walkable to everything, including the marina. Restaurant is very inviting with a great menu. Hotel is very well maintained and probably still the nicest in Loreto! It's a gem!

La Mision is the best hotel. The staff is very helpful and happy to be there. From the front desk to the concierge to the bar and restaurant. Best pizza in town. Close to the shopping and marina. Our room was wonderful. It had a great view, comfortable bed. Housekeeping kept our room immaculate, even made towel animals. The only downside here is no refrigerator in the room and it can get loud when they have parties. Some cars cruise the avenue with their music turned to maximum volume. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends. Loreto is a very friendly town.

Ocean front way great until you went to bed. The street noise, cars with boom boxes went on until midnight. Restaurant service was awful, we left before our main course.

A group of approximately 8 obnoxious young men checked in and were very loud, disrespectful, profane, and hung out for 2 hours in the pool bar area and then 3 hrs in the hotel restaurant and this was the worst case of “ugly Americans” that I have seen in 50 yrs of traveling. What bothered me just as much as these loud and disgusting people was the hotel staff refused to ask them to control their behavior. The hotel was full of couples, children and families and could not possibly enjoy themselves with this vexation. Several people asked to call the police to have get them under control or remove them but the hotel did nothing. So approximately 8 hoodlums ruined it for hundreds of respectful guests and by doing nothing about it the hotel staff essentially sided with the nasty 8.

This place was perfect for a short getaway. It was convenient for excursions, walking to restaurants and shops. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned with special touches of tying bows in the drapes and throw blankets. I look forward to staying here again for a longer trip!

Central location, easy walk to great food and shopping

Everyone there was nice to be around, margaritas were really good , rooms were kept very clean . When we had a problem with our room they moved us to a perfect room. The promenade was fun and festive. I’d go Bach to the same place when we go back.

Wonderful way to end our Baja trip. Beautiful hot tub / pool; great pizza; best tortilla soup in restaurant; comfortable, clean rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect a short walk from the town center.

I forgot my electric toothbrush in the room -called and they had it for me a week later when we stopped before flying out. All smiles from the staff!! The pool was cold but the large hot tub was perfect!!! Food was delicious. Nice view and balcony from the fourth floor beautiful large room.

We loved this hotel! The staff were phenomenal and very accommodating. I got a cold day 1 and was cold. As they don’t get cold temperatures often, the room did not have a heater. However, they found a portable heater that we could use during our stay. So seeet!

Attentive service in all areas of property. Lovely, large room with excellent housekeeping services. While it be intermittently loud on the road in front the views of the sea of Cortez make up for it. Relaxing, romantic get away. I would heartedly recommend and hope to return.

The hotel and property are beautiful, and the view from our room was amazing. It’s right across the street from the ocean, and a short walk to shopping, restaurants, the pier, and a nice beach. The staff were all so welcoming, and the hotel is very well run. We ate at Los Olivos in the hotel several times, and it was outstanding. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is that the street noise was a little loud, but that is not anything the hotel can control. If you need a quiet room, ask for one that does not face the ocean.

It was great ! Food in restaurant was very good. Staff very helpful. Kids enjoyed pool. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was noise sounding like repair work early in the am (5-6 am)

Overall a very nice and customer oriented place. Food quality in the restaurant was not commensurate with other aspects of the property. In addition the restaurant noise level was high, probably due to the architectural design, as well as loud traffic noise on the restaurant balcony from the adjacent road.

No fridge in room, charging for coffee in room, double charging if signed things to room, promises of view changes and never got, overall sad

Check in was a little slow and room did not open so we had to get new room assigned. Gratuity fee seemed a little high. Pool was to cold and never seemed to warm up making swimming hard to handle.

Overall a great hotel with staff generally friendly. Restaurant has a great breakfast with fantastic staff. So friendly and customer focused. Dinner has amazing food by talented chefs. Evening servers are hit and miss on friendliness and service.

We have decided to make Christmas an opportunity to build family memories. La Mision was a piece of that puzzle. Every interaction we had with hotel staff was above expectation and very positive. a return visit is not our of the question for future travel.

We loved our stay.

First, their "ocean view" description is a stretch. It includes rooms with no view due to vegetation or those on the pool deck with no privacy and a view blocked by a wall. I refused the first room and was offered another, but this shouldn’t happen at this price point. The pool is unheated and freezing – colder than Whistler pools in winter. On Christmas Day, even the hot tub was cold because "someone left it off." Why not cover it at night to avoid wasting energy and leaving guests without basic amenities? Yet, they had time to call and complain about us drying towels on our patio. Did they offer replacements? Of course not. Service is mediocre. Empty cans sit by the pool for hours. At breakfast, I found hair in my tortilla and the tables were filthy. The hairy food was taken away, but nothing else – no apology, no resolution. Late-night parties in the hotel's private disco kept us awake despite a 10 PM silence policy, which they break for themselves. My email about it? Ignored. Amenities are a joke. No fridge, no ice, and no follow-through when I requested a fridge. If there’s no poolside service, at least let guests retrieve cold drinks themselves. On our last day, getting towels required a form, and the bathroom reeked of sewage. Accommodations are clean but far from luxurious. Management is absent, and they rely on a third-party to respond to reviews, showing they don’t care about guest experiences. Save your money – stay elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay. Marcel was above and beyond helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was fabulous. The view from our room was amazing.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The views around the hotel were beautiful and I loved the pizza at the bar! The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

Restaurant is fantastic. Amazing brunch and dinner, liked it so much we ate there multiple times. Spa was nice and so was pool. Very convenient location. Also we found our room and the premises to be spotless, so clean.

The nicest thing about the La Mision Hotel is the employees. The service was fantastic in the restaurants and every employee was so nice and helpful.

We had an excellent stay. Great service and nice facilities. Having a gym and heating up the pool if possible will make it even better!

Our trip to Loreto was nothing short of amazing. We took a tour to San Javier mission and also did an ATV tour all booked through La Mision hotel with the concierge Angelica. Friendly and helpful staff. We had an ocen view room with a balcony also overlooking the pool. 5 stars all the way.
