The room was extremely small. I checked in at the scheduled time, but the room I had originally been assigned on the 4th floor was still not ready. I had to accept a room on the 1st floor instead, which had very little natural light. Considering what the hotel offers, I found the price quite high.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the location in the old city. We requested a balcony, which we received, and it overlooked the back of the hotel and the courtyard. Our bed was changed daily, which was a lovely touch. Chiara, our host and owner, was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The bus stop to Bologna Centrale was very close to the hotel. Lovely little bars and a supermarket were a couple of hundred metres from the hotel. The bed was large and very comfortable. Nice to have air conditioning. The room had tea and coffee-making facilities and a free safe.
The bedroom was small and dark. The TV had no English news channels. The small fridge wobbled when you opened it. There was only one electric socket for the kettle, which I had to remove to charge up my iPad and phones. Breakfast was buffet-style and a reasonable choice. However, I had to ask for milk with my cornflakes. The cost of 12 Euros was expensive if you are a small eater like me. The hotel is a very old converted monastery, and it needs additional attention to bring it up to more modern standards.

Im Badezimmer waren die Spiegelbeleuchtung kaputt. Zuwenig Platz zum Kleider aufhängen. Wir haben zum Glück 6 Kleiderbügel mitgenommen. TROTZDEM HABEN WIR UNS SO WOHLGEFÜHLT, DASS WIR GERNE WIEDERKOMMEN!

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Hotel war etwas versteckt aber nach einem freundlichen Telefonat konnte mir schnell geholfen werden. Mein Auto konnte ich unter Verschluss im Innenhof parken was ich super fand. Das Personal war super freundlich und es war eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre obwohl ich kein Italienisch konnte. Das Frühstück war super und der Kaffee aus der Siebträger Maschine war toll.

Apropos Preis: 20 € für einen Parkplatz, den man in einer ZTL braucht, sind schon happig, dafür habe ich einen direkt vorm Hoteleingang bekommen. Wer das Geld sparen will: Checkt kostenlose Parkparkplätze in der Nähe des Hotels, da es direkt am Rand der ZTL liegt

J'ai trouvé la salle du petit-déjeuner trop petite, certains jours dès 8h il n'y avait plus de place il a fallu attendre un peu.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig und hat typisch italienisches Flair. Vom Hotel ist man zu Fuß in 15 bis 20 Minuten im Zentrum, wobei der Weg dorthin durch wunderschöne Arkaden führt. Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend, Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich werde wiederkommen.

It was exceptionally hot all over Italy and all other hotels had excellent air-conditioning. The air con in our two rooms was a little poor, with hindsight we should have mentioned this. It was a great place and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

The bed was not very comfortable. Booking says parking is available and we requested it, but it turns out that parking is quite limited and the request is not forwarded by the Booking platform. If you need it, email the hotel directly. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us so it all worked out.

The air conditioning in the room was beyond perfect as it was incredibly hot in Bologna and the air con managed to thanfully make the room feel like a fridge. Will stay again.

Decor and bathroom a bit dated but everything worked and the rooms were perfectly adequately.

Die Terasse und die zentrale Lage. Ausserdem eine Toplage für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Bologna.
