Hotel staff super friendly and was able to communicate with hotel before arrival to request our 3 rooms on same floor. This is my 3rd trip to this hotel, so 8 hotel stay lbefore and after” as we used Chengdu as launch pad to travel to outside Chengdu to surrounding tourist sights

Reviewed May 5, 2026Really worth the stay. Ms Violet, the receptionist, was nice and kind, provided us with lunch box because we left too early in the morning to have breakfast, she also gave me a gift of a cutie magnet of panda, and called a taxi for us to train station... really appreciate it !

Удобное расположение - в доступности зеленая и синяя ветки, пешком можно дойти до главной площади, достопримечательностей (если вы конечно готовы гулять) и торговых центров. Завтрак вкусный, мы были очень рады европейской еде и столовым приборам, потому что до этого 10 дней жили в аутентичном гестхаусе и очень от этого устали. При этом на выбор есть лапша и китайские булочки.

Поставила ниже оценку за процесс заселения потому что мы приехали в половине первого ночи после долгого перелета, очень уставшие, дети буквально спали сидя на стульях, но заселение было очень долгим - проверяли паспорта, зачем-то визы всех членов семьи, это тянулось очень долго. Далее возникла проблема с оплатой, так как за один номер мы платили наличкой, за второй картой, но чтобы оплатить картой, необходимо было перекинуть деньги, а для этого нужен был вай фай. вай-в гостинице очень странный. вроде, интернет есть, а вроде, его и нет. сообщения приходят, но прочитать их невозможно. И началась канитель с интернетом, пока я не начала психовать. Попросила заселлить детей в оплаченный номер, и после этого уже разобраться, и только, видя мое расстройство, девочки на ресепшене сообразили, что можно, сделать и так. Но в целом - они очень милые. Видимо, тут произошkf заминка просто потому, что они не понимали, что можно поступить и так, как просит клиент. Повторюсь - в остальном у нас нет нареканий, отель хороший, заплаченной сумме полностью соответствует, и главное, тихий! Близко от метро.

Reviewed Oct 22, 2025While I have only rated the Holiday Inn Express in Chengdu, China as a four -star hotel, I am confident that it is the best alternative available for a North American or European, if not for any traveler. It certainly is if the comparison is limited to hotel with comparable price points. The hotel appears to be very recently built. It is very modern and utilizes the most advanced technologies including the beloved floor cleaning robots that deliver room service. I must admit, even they are cute. Furnishings and fixtures are modern and. Beds are comfortable. Walk-in-showers are available. Staff is efficient, pleasant, and eager to be of assistance. Breakfast is, of course, included in the price. Although it is understandably not the standard breakfast served throughout the USA, it is one that is more than acceptable to a Midwesterner’s taste buds. Further, unlike some other US branded hotels in China we have recently visited, I am confident of the safety of the food and beverages at this establishment. The location has proven ideal for us. It is in the old part of the city where a variety of restaurants abound and where the walking is safe and interesting. Taxi or car service is so inexpensive, a trip anywhere in the city can be no issue. We recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Chengdu China MOST HIGHLY!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025The location was good and the rooms and facilities were as you would expect for a Holidsy Inn.
The breakfast catered more for the Chinese tourists which was being refilled regularly.Sadly when the European/English breakfast ran out there was no more.We did complain and the Chef cooked us 4 pieces.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025The location is very convenient and we could walk to the city and back in an hour after shopping. Breakfast was good especially for an express hotel. They were kind enough to give me cake for my birthday as well so do make sure to inform them of any special occasions 😊

Abbiamo prenotato una camera per famiglia con 3 letti, ma ci è stata assegnata una camera doppia con un letto aggiunto con il risultato che lo spazio disponibile era molto ristretto.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025The rooms were really large and clean, the hotel feels safe and the breakfast didn't disappoint.
The restaurant outside of breakfast hours wasn't the best and the location is a tiny bit awkward but still rather easy to get around.
