Reviewed Jun 9, 2026The property is located in a good neighbourhood, with convenient gas station, grocery, liquor store. Close to Canmore and couple of other places. The place is big, clean, and quiet. The unit comes with laundry room, kitchen supplies, TV+movies, and so many other things. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the checkin/checkout is smooth and nice. There’s an outdoor ht tub, BBQ grills and fire pit so there’s lots of things to do.
Just only 1 thing, the pool game is not free, $1 per game. I just can’t really understand an expensive resort wants to charge guest for pool.

Could not get back, noone was manning the reception, and no one answered the after hours number. $120 cleaning fee and I am still expected to load the dishwasher and take out the garbage???

The pull out sofa bed was broken & leaned to one side making it very uncomfortable. My daughter and son in law did not sleep well. It should be replaced. Kitchen supplies could be improved with more utensils & dishes. There wasn’t a utensil to cook eggs or pancakes, we had to use a large spoon.

It was only about 10 minutes from our wedding venue at Silvertip Resort, making it the ideal location for our wedding weekend. We rented three rooms — one for the bridesmaids, one for the groomsmen, and one for ourselves — and they were all in the same building, which made everything super convenient and accessible. The suites were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and had that cozy mountain feel that made the weekend even more special. We’ll definitely be returning to Copperstone Resort for future mountain trips — it was the perfect home base for our Canmore wedding!

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025The underground parking is very convenient, although staying in Dead Man’s Flats is not the most convenient if everything you’re doing is in BNP or JNP. Room was clean although views were not that exciting (I.e. looking onto/into the other buildings) and luckily we didn’t spend much time in the unit as we wanted to see the spectacular views that the parks offer. There are really no dining options in DMF so it was great to have a full kitchen available.

Apartment was tired, tatty with ripped seating. Dishwasher didn’t work. None of the plug sockets in the main bedroom worked. The lock on the gate to the hot tub is broken so there is a risk of drowning for young children. The reception does not open until 12 noon, after check out so you can not report problems. Only an automated response when you message the resort.

Very poor reception, lack of knowledge of the facility. I was in the facility but had a hard time finding the office, calling the receptionist. She had either no idea of the facility or was refusing to help. Rooms were dirty, and the beds and bedrooms were smiling awful. No tea, coffee mate in the kitchen, not enough coffee for the number of guest staying. Overall, very poor service.

Nothing to complain about, really. It was great. Only thing I could suggest is having more coffee creamer for guests! Also, bathtub was a little slippery..we put a bath towel on the floor to avoid accidents. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

Our big issue was on this nice property with views of the mountains, we had the one unit with a view of a garbage dumpster. Why they would put the dumpster in the front of the property right in front of one of one of the unit windows is beyond me. Not only did it block out half the view but it was also noisy as the dumpster was cleared multiple times. Definitely made it not worth the money for us.
