The receptionist and manager lied and told me I was offered another room and were rude trying to fob me off. I was never offered this and asked for partial refund was not happy. Sofa bed not comfortable for my child room was dated

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Check in was easy. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was comfortable. The shower and toilet were clean. The restaurant had a good choice of food and breakfast was more than adequate. The pool and play area were good if you had children with you.
Mainly the public areas were not great in terms of being tired and in need of a freshen up, the lift was out of action and the stair well was very smelly and did not look clean.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Ontvangst was zeer netjes, fijn personeel. Kamer was ruim genoeg voor ons vieren, en de bedden waren goed. Fijn ook dat er een zwembad aanwezig was. Het ontbijt was vele malen beter dan wij normaliter gewend zijn bij een "Doorreis" overnachting, veel keuze en kwalitatief erg goed!
Eigenlijk niets. Alles was in orde qua hotel! Omgeving is daarentegen écht een "buitenwijk", voor ons gevoel niet aan te raden om 's avonds in het donker nog even een rondje te lopen.

Unpleasant Smell in the main hotel, quality of food in the restaurant was disguising and prices high. The general service lousy. Whole place generally untidy with a lot of mess around the place. This hotel is not like any other Novotel I stayed in. Should be downgraded.

Lift does not work in hot weather. Stairs needs new finish carpet is old and smells. Old ladder left stored on 2nd floor looks unsightly and was used regularly but inhibited access to stairs and no staff around to help in any way.. Just needs a little money invested and a bit more thought from management..

The personnel is clearly facing challenges to keep things going, the hotel is quite dated, hard to clean carpet, that type of things. I will not return nor recommend. I have stayed in several Novotel's in France over the past years but this one has not been refurbished yet and it has an impact.

Lift broken, although the staff did assist with luggage. One room with a bath, the shower was extremely difficult to operate. Toilet cubicle very narrow and the holder was sharp and an obstacle to the toilet. Also insufficient space on the right side of the bed and lack of table on one side.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026We thought the facilities were good overall the breakfast was good albeit a little bit cramped when people were trying to navigate around the food areas and the water which was free cold drinks was excellent you couldn’t fault that. The chicane restaurant was good however it could’ve been a little more variation in the menu.
We thought the outside area especially around the pool and the seating areas around the pool were extremely unkept and not clean. There were dog ends broken glass and generally scruffy looking. The room was immaculate but I would say the outside didn’t need attention.

We watched the psg v Aston Villa game in our room on the large tv , it was also on in the bar area for people that wanted a drink.
No issues I was very pleased with the hotel.

Donc difficile pour moi
L’ascenseur n’était pas autorisé paraît-il en période de canicule,mon mari avec sa canne a dû monter les escaliers jusqu’au 3e étage ! Et nous avons vu plusieurs personnes prendre l’ascenseur, même les enfants !?!?

Chambre non rénovée, clim qui fait à peine du froid, le canapé-lit où dormais notre enfant manque 2 lattes donc un gros trou. Une tache sur le rideau et le rideau occultant qui commence à être abîmé.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Il est absolument invraisemblable de ne pas jouir de l'ascenseur pour un hôtel de la classe de Novotel, avec une grande valise et de plus être an second. Chambre 349 les double rideaux occultant baillent les attaches sont cassées ou autre et ne sont pas réparés . Pas de douche inondation dans la salle de bain. Le restaurant: c'est la première fois de ma vie, j'ai bientôt 71 ans, que j'ai bu une Afflighem dans un verre à eau, les linguines étaient des spaghetti réchauffé set collés entre eux immonde.

Un gros plus pour la piscine qui a permis à notre fils de s'amuser avant de reprendre la route en pleine canicule (les serviettes pour la piscine sont fournies gratuitement. Ce n'est pas toujours le cas dans les Novotel). Le petit déjeuner est également de qualité et varié (sucré, salé, cakes maison, crêpes, salade de fruits...).

Hôtel sale trace sur tte les portes / moquette également sale tacheté trace de liquide douteux Chambre non nettoyé / pas serviette/ pas de lit bébé / ascenseur en panne / odeur d’égouts dans tout l’hôtel / pas d’eau dans les chambre on m’indique une fontaine à eau salle et vaseuses malheureusement Check in a 00h avec deux enfants pas le choix de rester malgré l’état désastreux de l’établissement. Pourtant Novotel a toujours été gage de qualité

Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel le soir, le repas était bon en revanche la déception en voulant nous faire plaisir avec les desserts.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Gelukkig was het maar voor 1 nacht. Ze hebben onze kamer van 2de verdiep naar 1ste verplaats. Gratis parking en omheind
De buurt waar het hotel zich bevind geeft zeker geen veilig gevoel. Kom je toe, krijg je te zien dat de lift niet werkt, met het excuus dat het te warm is buiten. Blijkbaar ook een voorkomend probleem die al jaren terugkomt. Ooit had Novotel een grote naam en was bekend voor kwaliteit en service, deze is blijkbaar verdwenen met de jaren. En dit hotel is niet de enige. Mijn zoon is mindervalide dus trappen doen, absoluut niet gemakkelijk. Parkeerplaats ook niet echt gereserveerd voor mensen met een beperking. Paardenkarren die er staan en mensen die te lui zijn achteraan te parkeren. Dit word ook niet in het ook gehouden. We kregen te horen dat ontbijt volgende ochtend tot 10:30 was en in de ochtend bleek het maar tot 10:00 te zijn en dit op een zondag. Dus hier weeral negatief. De producten in de kamer zoals bodylotion en zeep, zouden ter beschikking moeten zijn, nee je krijgt mooie lege flessen van rituals. En geluidsisolatie 0, je hoort alles van uw buren, de deuren slagen heel hard dicht en je hebt geen nacht rust.

Shame the Aircon wasn’t better - in fact it wasn’t as good as my 20 yr old car! The lift was out of action and seemed to have been for a while. The pool had a foot wash for sanitary purposes that was full of green murky water!

The general condition of the hotel is poor. The staircases smell awful (like urine?), the rooms are of the old design where the toilet is in a separate room with no sink. Rooms are dated.

Again I do recommend this stay however they require a €200 deposit onto of what u already pay for the room I believe is unfair. However I paid it and they said it take up to Seven days to be returned and it’s now been 7 and still no money. Just be aware before u stay.
