Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I loved all of the little touches - free coffee, free nighttime snacks, warm towels, etc. The hotel was quite close to Nagano Station as well which was a big plus - it was an easy walk to and from the station.
The bathroom and room itself were a little dated, but we didn’t mind.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Location is not far from the train station, but on the quieter side of the town. Free sake and cold drinks in the afternoon were a plus.
The room was on the small side - a bit squeeze with 3 beds, with not much space to move around. Location was fine, right next to the train track so if you are a light sleeper, you may be bothered with the sound of the trains passing by (it's not too loud but you can hear it).

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026This was my second stay here. The beds were large & comfortable. We had access to pillow options which was most welcome. The bathroom was roomy & I appreciate the grab rails for the bath/shower. Staff were lovely & helpful.
I understand the eco stance tajen by many hoteks & appreciate thus very much - we did not request our room to be cleaned or sheets changed each day - we don't do that everyday at home. We were given new towels etc each day, which we did not use as the original ones were still fine. Again, we do not change towels everyday at home. I would like to see hotels make a positive statement about sustainability - washing a new set of towels each day is not necessary, although I do note is expected by some guests.
