The staff was extremely helpful since we had to extend our stay due to the WestJet strike. They let us have our same room back and just added another night. The breakfast was wonderful!

Exterior is in rough shape, parking lot to building. Cleaning is done throughout the day putting trash in hallways and carts blocking your room when leaving or entering. Elevators squeal harshly Jacuzzi controller is damaged the same way for the last 3 years (podollan suite rm 212) Windows are grimy and one is broken being unable to open Damage to the hotel from 3 years ago is also present entering the main lobby Management was also just there to do the bear minimum and barely present to smile/greet across all shifts which was jarring. You just get a feeling the owners don't care or care enough to visit and make notes for proper maintenance/repair and for the rates they charge i would expect them too This used to be the hotel my wife and I stayed at without considering others;, going forward we will absolutely be considering other establishments which is a shame and I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears.

The location is great for us, as we're traveling back to the Yukon when we stop here. The staff is always happy and helpful. Jax is a lovely restaurant where you can get a nice meal and drinks.

The pillows were not comfortable at all. Lumpy and hard. Woke up several times and my neck was sore all day. The hotel needs to update hallways, very worn and tired looking. Elevators screech .

Room was newly renovated with spacious bathroom with separate shower stall. Bed was very comfortable, room was quiet. Morning breakfast, with it’s choice of items offered variety and a good breakfast.

The breakfast was really good! It was quiet on the side they put us on and the curtains blocked out the light so it was nice and dark for sleeping. Parking was convenient, check in and check out was easy.

The pillows were too big, I had to sleep without one or risk kinking my neck. I noticed other people brought their own. There was no where to hang your clothes which isn't bad in summer but in winter, that could be an issue. We hung our clothes on the chair.

Nice value for the price paid. Hot made to order breakfast was a pleasant surprise (far better than most standard free breakfasts). Shower had great pressure and water was hot and room temperature control worked well.

Common areas feel tired and could use a refresh / renovation.

Stayed for 1 night in a King Bachelor room. The room was clean and quiet, bed very comfortable, good air conditioning and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark. I had a great sleep there. The bathroom was large and had both a shower and jacuzzi tub. Parking was free. I did not use the spa or bar so cannot comment on those. There is breakfast included. You order a selection from the menu and they bring it to you. Service was fast.

The breakfast was amazing coz of its freshly cooked meal.

Room was nice and cool, bed was comfortable, TV was perfect. Loved that I could open my room window. Bathtub was nearly perfect, and loved the space in the bathroom.

I wish the hours for breakfast would be longer, but most hotels only offer till 10/maybe 11. So I did not get to have breakfast but it was close to other amenities.

They put us in the worst room possible! Large very loud HVAC unit ran constantly! Had tv full volume to drown out the noise. Nothing maintained and windows didn’t lock so roof access is a risk. No counter space in bathroom and only pedestal sink. Elevator loud and sketchy. Doesn’t feel safe. This hotel used to be the place to stay but has had no upkeep in years! Definitely won’t stay again

The complimentary breakfast was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful.

The elevators made weird noises, and that made us uncomfortable using them. Also the room wasn't as clean as it should have been. We found a weird remote under the chair that we couldn't figure out what it was for, and there was some tissue used for cleaning on the floor in the bathroom.

Stayed here with my fiancé and we loved it. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are luxurious. Breakfast is served in their own little restaurant setting downstairs, so you can sit in a booth and have a nice quiet meal together.

The underground parking is a great feature, but is a bit tight and dont recommend it for anyone that isnt in a car. Also, they dont seem to have vending machines, just snacks at the front desk, so plan ahead lol

Convenient to other businesses

Overall, the reception area, the restaurant, and my room were very dark. You need more lights. I found myself having to use my iPhone flashlight to read the menu, read the thermostat, and generally get around. Even the reception area looks like it’s closed - because it’s so dark. For that reason alone - very poor lighting - I won’t stay at this hotel again

Bed was pounded out in the middle and therefore too soft, I had to sleep on the end of the bed. Floor was not vacuumed and was candy and crunchy stuff on the rug. One light didn't work and the others weren't very bright

The bathroom walls and mirror were not clean,you could see where pictures were removed and moisture streaks on the walls. The bathroom was dark and the whole room smelled musty, the bed was ok but we kept rolling toward the middle. The bathroom vanity mirror didn't work and the bathroom electrical plug didn't work so we had the maintenance guy come up and he was able to get the outlet working. We only paid $120 total so you get what you pay for.

Elevators sounded like they were dying, hotel is tired and worn. Breakfast was comprehensive but lukewarm and eggs were rubbery. Parking lot was dirty and homeless people yelling at guests was a big negative.

There was nothing to dislike. Great service. Clean comfortable rooms. A great nights sleep and a fantastic included breakfast!

the complexity of using the tv is a very significant issue and would prevent us from booking with this hotel again and this is true for other hotels too
