The location of the resort is great, river alongside the resort and it's quiet and cozy at night. Great place to stay close to the nature to relax

Our booked unit balcony is constantly wet due to rain and the plastic rooftop is dripping water. We stayed inside the room most of the time and only stayed outside for awhile for jacuzzi

ก่อนอื่นคือชอบบรรยากาศนะ การดูรักษาต้นไม้ ดอกไม้ การจัดสวน เคยมาพักที่นี่เป็น 10 กว่าปีแล้ว พอได้กลับมาอีก รู้สึกว่าทุกอย่างยังดูดีมาก และดีขึ้นกว่าเดิมอีก เข้าไปแล้วรู้สึกถึงความสงบ ไม่ได้ private ขนาดนั้นแต่ได้รู้สึกเหมือนได้มาพักจริงๆ service mind คือ the best ไม่ว่าจะพนักงานต้อนรับ, ร้านอาหาร หรือคนคอยรับ-ส่งแขก ทุกคนต่างมีรอยยิ้มและทำให้แขกรู้สึกปลอดภัยอะ ห้องพักมีหลายแบบ ส่วนตัวยังชอบห้องโซนเดิมที่ติดธารน้ำ ชิลมาก ธรรมชาติขั้นสุด อาหารโอเค อร่อยเลย เราเข้าไปแล้วไม่ออกข้างนอกเลย ดังนั้นเลยได้ทานมื้อเย็นที่นั่น มีทั้งอาหารไทย, ฝรั่ง เราสั่งทั้งยำก็แซ่บ และ steak ก็นุ่ม ดีงาม เป็นมื้อที่ประทับใจ พอดีเป็นวันเกิดลูกสาวด้วย เลยสั่งขนมแล้วให้ช่วยปักเทียนให้ พนักงานก็เดินร้องเพลงมาเลยจ้ะ 555 น่ารักๆ ที่นั่นมีน้องเป็ด, กระต่ายด้วยนะ เผื่อเด็กๆ มาดูได้

שהיינו 3 לילות בוילת ו ירח דבש המיקום בלב הג׳ונגל מהמם ורחש המים מהנחל שמחוץ לחדר מאד תורם לאווירה המסעדה מצויינת הצוות כולו נהדר תורם ונכון לעזור כל הזמן תודה !!

המיטות והכריות לא נוחות זה בעיקר מעבר לזה המקום מרוחק ממסעדות כך שאם בא לכם לנסות לאכול ארוחת ערב במקום אחר תצטרכו לעשות את זה מאד מוקדם אם באתם ללא רכב. Grab food כמעט לא מגיע למקום

Das Verhalten des Personals war aussergewöhnlich unfreundlich. Da ich mit meiner thailändischen Freundin unterwegs war wurde ich komplett ignoriert und eigentlich nur sie auf thailändischer angesprochen...

We hadden een 4 persoons villa met een extra bed. Mooie ruimtes, helemaal privé, eigen zwembad met prachtig uitzicht. Fijn restaurant en veel te doen in de buurt.

Absolutely stunning location and grounds. Wonderful staff. Great food. Really helpful at coordinating and advising on places of interest and activities. Generous with water.

Villas have a rustic feel that can feel a bit aged and sometimes smell damp but these are very minor points.

Our stay was magical. When I was looking for a hotel in the Mae Rim area, I went over all kinds of options. Some look great on paper, and they might very well be, but we were completely unprepared for the paradise we arrived at. ​The beauty of this place is indescribable: the mesmerizing greenery, the sound of the babbling stream with the wooden bridge over it, the mountain views, the gorgeous flowers, the wonderful restaurant with the lovely Pes, and the rest of the staff. And the room, the room! Large, clean, and luxurious, there are simply no words. ​This is not a place for people who love noise and action; it is a place to come and unwind, immerse yourself in the scenery, speak softly, and intensely experience all that Northern Thailand has to offer. Thank you, dear staff, we enjoyed every single second and we will definitely see you again in the future.

The jacuzzi works great, but it needs a little maintenance to make it more ready for guests. Other than that, there is nothing negative, except for the fact that we have to leave.

We liked everything about the place.

Lovely peaceful resort, staff very accommodating. We upgraded our room from to the villa pool suite which if you can would highly recommend doing so! Location is fairly rural but close to the activities we wanted to do like the elephant sanctuary, Botanical gardens, WTF Coffee, rollercoaster park etc. We also got friendly with a grab driver which became our personal driver for the week which came in very useful and works out better for the both of us financially. Breakfast here was basic but good, evening food nice with plenty of options. Would recommend this stay if you want a quiet relaxing few days.

Superbe établissement en pleine nature, dans les hauteurs de Chiang Mai. Nous y etions en famille chambres très spacieuses en duplex avec 1 chambre avec salle de bain par niveau … très bien équipée, personnel aux petits soins, le restaurant est très bon egalement. Beaucoup d’activités à proximité!

Breaksfast had 2 options - American or Local. While it was slighlty expensive ,the food variety in each option was very good .

The location was far from central Chiang mai and after 5 pm in the evening , Bolt and GRab drivers were refusing to accepty fares to this location. No fault of the resort as it was in a beautiful green forested area. The better option is to hire a vehicle while staying at Phu Fah Resort.

Probably was incredibly beautiful and everything and more than you would expect from the photos as a matter of fact the property was so beautiful, and the sunrise was so incredible that I tripped and fell out the door and had a serious accident that required me to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. The staff was so amazing. They sat with me during the entire day until I had surgery and they came back to visit the flowers and kindness. I can’t say enough about the property that I really can’t say enough about the care, concern and beauty of the managers Foo and Ford! I will be forever grateful for their kindness, and I will forever. Remember the beauty of the resort and the food was amazing.

Bedding is clean

Het eten was vreselijk. De kamers zijn mooi ruim maar voelen wat aan als vergane glorie, zoals het hele hotel. Veel te duur voor wat het is. Veruit ons minst aangename verblijf dat we in twee jaar Thailand gehad hebben. Wij raden dit echt niet aan.

The staff and the view from the hotel were nice

Magnifique hôtel. Ambiance reposante et très agréable. Personnel très aimable et aux petits soins, mention spéciale pour notre chauffeur qui nous a accompagné durant deux jours pour nous faire visiter la région, d’une gentillesse incroyable.

Very gorgeous high-end place. We wanted to stay and relax much longer. Excellent breakfast. Great food and coffee. The staff were so sweet and on the ball. Grounds are spectacular. Room service was nice. Parking on site. Water provided. All eco packaging and no plastic waste.

Lots of concrete benches on deck but no deck chairs or cushions on outdoor area. Outdoor bathtub with jets wasn't great. It might be nicer for hotter weather but for cooler weather it doesn't serve as a hot tub and wasn't overly useful.

The authenticity, the scenery. If you’re reading this while trying to make up your mind consider this your sign to book that stay, it was worth every penny!

Hat in allem unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Unglaublich bequeme Betten, große Zimmer, der Blick in die Berge (wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Jacuzzi auf dem Balkon), eine so liebevoll gepflegte Anlage, alles unglaublich sauber und eine tolle Atmosphäre, hervorragendes Frühstück und Restaurant, super nettes Personal! Es liegt abseits im Grünen, aber das war genau das, was wir suchten. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen. Sowohl Chiang Mai gut erreichbar als auch schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung möglich. Es wird auch ein hauseigener Shuttle angeboten, wer nicht selbst fahren mag. Ein Ort zum Entspannen von der ersten Minute an! Man betritt das Gelände und die Erholung beginnt…

ห้องพักค่อนข้างแคบกว่าที่คิด แต่ที่ทรมานมากคือในห้องหนาวมากๆ (โดยเฉพาะชั้นล่าง) เพราะผนังห้องเป็นกระจก 60-70% หนาวขนาดนี้ควรมี heater ประจำห้อง (รีสอร์ตมีให้บริการ กรณีโทรสอบถาม) คุณพ่อคุณแม่อายุเยอะแล้ว นอนชั้นล่างเพราะปีนขึ้นข้างบนไม่ได้ สงสารมาก

El lugar es increíblemente acogedor, tranquilo. Las personas nos trataron maravillosamente bien. De verdad es un lugar único, donde en cada rincones hay detalles que enamoran. Volveríamos mil veces , por otro lado la comida fantastica!

Excellent place to relax

Staff was excellent! Room was clean and comfortable - great sleeping! Beautiful area and the food was fantastic! Service was very attentive. The koi pond, swing, and fountain for our room were a lovely attribute to the peaceful ambience. While we didn't participate, the hotel does a Shabu supper which looked delicious and fun! We LOVED the beautiful area and would definitely come back.

The difference in price between hotel rate (good price) and Booking.com was extraordinary. I should have caught it and booked direct. The difference made it a poor value compared to other similar properties in the area. Also, the advertisement for the room looks like you get a stand alone unit with your own pool which was incorrect. We stayed in a corner, bottom floor unit, with a jacuzzi which was nice but not what we expected. The location was closer to the road noise (light) and next to the service closet (which began at 7 am). There was also lots of night light due to a hallway light which we turned off, but then it got turned on again.

Needs closet space. Heating options in the winter could be better.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was really a good getaway from the city. The staff really made everything great.

We definitely overpaid for our room. They advertise at pet friendly and we found out later that means you had to pay extra on top of the already overpriced. We did not get the room that we booked either. Their reason was confusing 🫤

The landscape and garden was incredible. I was wondered how they could maintain such a detail. Our room was very large and our puppy could run freely. There were ducks and rabbits running around, so nice. With flowers they planted, the place looked kinda heaven.

The staffs were very helpful, however we met the guests who were not friendly with our pet. There should be an access down to the stream thus we all cold play with fresh cold water.

Friendly staff, amazing gardens, the views and natural beauty, the helpful staff always willing to lend a hand. The jacuzzi was epic - and falling asleep to the sounds of the river was so serene!

Toll gelegen, richtiges "Dschungel-Feeling". Die Villen waren sehr schön hergerichtet, ebenso das separate Badezimmer. Super freundliches Personal, das auf alle Wünsche/Bitten sofort reagiert hat. Insgesamt eine liebevoll betreute Anlage. Roller-Verleih ohne Probleme möglich.

Das Frühstück war wirklich schwach. Eine feste Auswahl war erforderlich, das Angebot mehr als überschaubar. An den lauten Flusslauf neben den Villen muss man sich gewöhnen, gehört aber zum Gesamtpaket einfach dazu. Der Save war auch nach einem Austausch defekt.

Villa - Unique experience , going to sleep with the sound of the waterfall and a terrace to sit and enjoy the views was amazing. Large firm bed and surprisingly comfortable for those that have a softer mattress Staff - Super helpful, they organised drivers for us each day so we can go around and explore. They fixed our shower as the water wasn’t hot and very friendly during meals. Food - we ate dinner here for 2x nights & breakfast. Really good local Thai food , would thoroughly recommended . Though not a problem for us breakfast is delicious but limited. Location - beautiful area but it is remote you will need transport to get around whether self drive or drivers through the hotel.

Villa - generally the rooms were cool due to the environment. But as we arrived after midnight it was exceptionally cold as no one had warmed the room up so it was 12 degrees, and only the security guard available to help. Would recommend putting the heating on for guests if they are going to arrive late so the room isn’t freezing when you arrive as it took a while to warm up.

Lovely resort with incredibly friendly staff. The property is tucked away in a quieter area, so keep that in mind if you want to be close to the main town or major attractions. We did have some difficulty arranging transport on our own, but the staff were able to organise their own transport for us at very reasonable prices. We had a very early checkout and missed breakfast, but they prepared a small packed lunch for us, which was such a thoughtful touch!

Just be aware that the beds are on the firmer side, so keep that in mind if you prefer a softer mattress.

Location, service, atmosphere

Food, could offer more comfort in the room like, for example, a daybed and rugs on the cement floor in the winter.

Unfassbar schöne Lage mitten im nirgendwo... Wir hatten die Villa mit Pool und waren total begeistert!

Personnel tres aimable et serviable, cadre vraiment magnifique et la nourriture est tres bonne.

Il est parfois difficile de trouver un grab pour partir de l hotel car il est a 1h du centre. Mais l hotel propose des transports.

Schlechter Service. Keine Einführung beim Check in. Kein Gepäck abgeholt. Essensbestellung auf die Schnelle entgegengenommen sehr genervt wollten uns abfrühstücken. Apropos Frühstück, dies war sehr schlecht. Das Abendessen war super.

Proud Phu Fah is like an oasis tucked away in the forest surrounded by greenery with some very cute local rabbits and ducks. If you’re a nature lover who wants to escape into a serene and peaceful environment with mountain views and the sound of light flowing rivers this place is perfect for you. To top it off there is a lovely pool and a little treehouse where you can enjoy your coffee. The staff are amazing and so are the hotel drivers.
