Excellent, caring and helpful staff. Private free car park behind hotel perfectly located in the middle of Dungarvan’s shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. Good pub food at reasonable prices for a 3-star hotel .

Rather dated and in need of room upgrades as the hotel shows its age.

No air conditioning which was a bit uncomfortable during the week, when outside temperatures exceeded 27 C

Central location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Modern, new bathroom.

The property is in need of a general refurbishment. Furniture in shared areas is tired & threadbare in places.

Very dated carpets in the corridors.

The showers leaked a lot, the Guinness in the bar was terrible, the general look of the hotel was very run down, the WiFi didn’t work

Rooms are clean and comfortable but could do with a little TLC. The mastic around the shower was very worn and let water out onto the floor. Needs replacing. Also could do with better lighting near the mirror in the bedroom so ladies can sit and do thier make up. (Or men of course)

Excellent reception staff, lovely rooms with comfy beds and crisp cotton sheets. A friendly vibe and you are perfectly located in the lovely town of Dungarvan - with a free car park too.

Only a minor grumble but there was no fridge in the room.

The whole place needs to move with the times, the staff were very helpful and friendly but the hotel itself is very drab.

The hotel is dated it needs a complete makeover, it's just old fashioned and needs to be updated

The elderly man on reception with the black died hair and bushy eyebrows and glasses has all the manners of a chimpanzee, shouldn't be let near front of house ,all other staff were amazing and in my opinion quite embarrassed of him

Closing the front doors at 11pm is a bit early.

Got there at 3 was told check in was at 4. They told use they'd ring as soon as we could check in which wasn't till after 6 in the evening

Curtains needed washing and would have been great to have been able to open windows more as room was very hot.

There was a condom in the hallway outside our room door, we asked staff to remove it which she did with her bare hands! later when we arrived back at our room the wrapper of the condom was on the radiator outside our room

Food was very good at both breakfast and dinner. Location excellent - very central. Room was clean but quite warm - yes it is an exceptionally hot summer! Hotel was nice and quiet during the night.

Hotel needs a investment to 'liven' up the decor. The main entrance and reception could be so much more!

Breakfast was good. Location is great. Rooms were clean and we had specious bathroom which was a great surprise.

When we stayed it was a really hot weather outside and there were no air-con in the rooms and windows wouldn’t open , just a little tiny bit so it was too hot in the room for comfortable sleep.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable and great location

Came back from night out and put on telly, chatting with my friend, no drinking no noise but grumpy man next door kept banging on our wall, then staff member came to tell us he had complained of noise. We turned off tells and just had to whisper, we were afraid to even go to toilet. Ruined the mood completely. Not really hotels fault but still very unpleasant

Rooms were not ready for checking in. Corridors and carpet in the corridor and bedrooms were filthy. Needs a massive renovation job. Receptionist was nice and friendly. Feel sorry for her working in those condidtions. Also the room was stifling hot. Very very uncomfortable

Viele Reisegruppen und Stress beim Zimmerwechsel. Badezimmer war nicht geputzt beim Einzug. Frühstück war lieblos

No way of controlling room temperature, a fan was provided but not much help. We arrived early at 11am and asked if early check in was possible, staff kept telling us check back at a certain time 12pm then 1pm then 2pm and when we returned got the same message from a different member of staff each time.. If the early check in was not going to be accommodated we should have just been told.

My view from the room was awful. I know it cant be changed but the roof tops outside the window could be tidied. They are covered in rubbish looks completely uncared for.

Very late check-in (our room wasn’t ready until 4.40pm) although we could leave our luggage with the reception staff. Stats could be problematic if you have mobility issues.

The Hotel is badly in need of refurbishment Toilet facilities poorly situated with too many cubicles fitted into a small space Toilets down steps are not age or disability friendly I had a problem finding Toilet Roll, only to discover the roll was hanging over my head Not very clean either The one Disability Toilet 🚻 that I found is not accessible to public customers To have to ask staff to open a Toilet is embarrassing to say the least, with staff not always available to open the door Generally somebody needs to bring this Hotel into the 2020's as it is situated in an ideal spot in the lovely town of Dungarvon I will say the Bedroom was comfortable, clean and well equipped with all anybody would need for a few nights stay The walk in shower was a positive for us Well done for that

Ordering food Waiting staff there was no attention to detail..Food requirements were not considered however this was rectified by the bar staff.. much appreciated.

Lovely well ran little hotel. In a great location in the center of town. Nice little bar with good food. Rooms recently done up to a good standard. Free parking. No complaints.
