The hotel left a lovely impression on us: it has a cozy atmosphere, a beautiful location, and is very conveniently situated for exploring Lake Garda. We especially appreciated the staff — everyone was attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for a relaxing stay. We also really liked the location: it was easy to walk around Desenzano and to reach other beautiful places around the lake. We would also like to mention the breakfast, which offered a good variety and was nicely presented. Thank you, Villa Rosa, for your hospitality and for the wonderful days we spent at Lake Garda. We will remember our stay fondly and would be happy to return.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Beautiful, clean hotel. Great location for everything. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Staff were welcoming and polite, always helpful. Pool service was a bonus and excellent, bar service was great in the hotel. The resturant was exquisite, so tastefully laid on the tables, lovely little " additional" touches. Food was amazing! Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return.
Would have liked a vanity mirror on the desk, and a " mobile" hairdryer, standing is difficult for me, therefore drying hair and doing makeup was difficult.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026The staff was lovely and very professional. the breakfast was great a lot of options for every taste and high quality food. The location was perfect for a lake stay and at a walkable distance from city center. Perfect for a family vacation.
The wi fi at the rooms was pretty weak. The only real disapointment was that we did not get connected rooms as requested and confirmed beforehand.

Der Pool war nicht top aber ok! Um sich zu erfrischen ganz gut. Aber, es müsste am Pool jemand sein der das Geschehen überwacht! Leute springen kopfüber in Wasser, laut Beschriftung am Pool verboten! Es müsste eine Duschpflicht geben, Leute gehen ins Wasser ungeduscht, einige mit T-Shirt und sogar einer mit schmutzigen Socken (es waren erwachsene Leute) Schweiss, Fett, Sonnencreme alles im Pool , war leider am Wasser auch zu sehen! Aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nichts, unzivilisierte Gäste gibts ja überall

I wish the eggs were scrambled a bit harder at breakfast and maybe a few more bread options. But overall fantastic, I really liked the smoked salmon and American style bacon!

Schwierigkeiten mit Parken ... Parkplätze sind limitiert, daneben gibt es auch andere Parkplätze, die kosten auch extra Geld, aber es ist Hochsaison und wenn alle Touristen noch dazu dort Parken, es gibt auch kaum Parkplatz, sodass mann muss ganz weit oben parken wo es weiter ist.

Fabulous food and wonderful service. Particularly Sofia at reception and Vincenzo in the restaurant. Wonderful bar service particularly poolside. They helped make our trip very special.

Vi betala över 3500 kr natten trots bygge bredvid som inte direkt gav en avslappnad stund på hotellet. Tycker inte man kan ta dom priserna när man knappt kan vistas på hotellet av allt oväsen. Det tilläts även att både dyka, plaska i poolen som inte var överdrivet stor. Föräldrarna orkade väl inte ta barnen till gardaland och lät barnen bete sig som svin i pool området.

Leider ist neben und hinter dem Hotel eine Baustelle und man ist tagsüber mit Baulärm konfrontiert Das Hotel bemüht sich aber mit Gutscheinen für einen Strandplatz mit Schirm und Sonnenliegen

Also als erstes: der Pool und die Liegewiese wird auf den Fotos größer dargestellt als es in Wirklichkeit ist. In Wahrheit ist der Pool sehr klein und alles sehr eingeengt. Es ist eine Baustelle daneben, sehr viel Lärm, die das Hotel mit gratis Strandliegen und Schirm gut machen will. Nur es wurde betont: dieser Service wird zwecks Baustelle angeboten, aber auf ihrer Internet Seite wäre das sowieso inklusive. Poolservice (sie bringen einem Getränke und Essen) kostet 3€ extra. Für ein Caprese/Mozzarella/Tomaten 18€, Gedeck extra und die Bedienung war eher aufdringlich als freundlich. Spaghetti Carbonara kostet 22€ zzgl 3€ Gedeck, direkt im Lokal daneben gab’s die einwandfrei um 15€. Wir haben 278€ für 1 Nacht mit Frühstück bezahlt, war’s das wert?

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Fabulous service from all staff. The hotel itself is lovely, with great decor. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, fresh fruit, juices, yoghurts, breads and hot food available.?
Unfortunately there was building work going on next door to the hotel which was very noisy between 8 and 5, this spoilt the enjoyment of the pool on those days we weren’t sightseeing. The bathroom also was a little small .. the shower was over the bath .. needs updating as bath not needed.

Es war sehr angenehm und luxuriös. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und viel Auswahl. Zimmer war sehr sauber, Bett bequem und Badezimmer mit guten Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Sehr schöne Villa , die nur ein paar Schritte von dem See entfernt ist. Ich empfehle es sehr!

Hmmm, der blev bygget lige ved siden af, men det var der ikke noget at gøre ved, hotellet gav billetter til solsenge og parasoller ved stranden som godtgørelse, hvis det var det man havde lyst til, men ellers intet problem

Baulärm (Bauarbeiten beim Grundstück nebenan), störend insbesondere morgens ( Schlafstörung und später störend beim Frühstück draußen), Restaurant sehr gehoben und teilweise auch die Hotelgäste ( für uns war es zu gehoben, wir mögen 4-Sterne-Niveau, aber kein High Society), das Frühstück hat eine große Auswahl geboten, die Auswahl wechselte jedoch nicht und Zusatzwünsche, wie z.B. Omelett, kosteten extra³

В соседнем здании началась реконструкция, работают подъемный кран и перфоратор, причем с 7 утра. Поэтому утро начиналось с дрели, не очень приятно. Но так как мы отдыхали уикенд, то в выходные было тихо, а во вторник мы уже уехали.
