Hotel Palazzo del Garda & Spa

Lovely staff

the hotel itself was lovely and the staff were very friendly. I loved the way they provided vegan pastries, it would of been even better for some more vegan food and for it to be labelled.

the beds were not very comfortable, to be fair.

Struttura piccola, ma molto tranquilla e curata. Staff gentilissimo.

staff gentilissimo, ottima posizione, pulizia eccellente e Servizi top

Piscina e spazi esterni

Spacious room, great breakfast! Friendly staff

Very dirty walls, looks like a 3-star hotel

Service in en rond het hotel

Kamers waren simpel, sober. Prima.

Location poor, Atmosphere cramped, room awful, value poor, Cleanliness minimal, noise level didn’t hang around long enough to find out, staff unhelpful, amenities minimal

Before booking we spent a bit of time looking at different hotels in Desenzano, trying to get everything we wanted. In the end it was between this and Villa Rosa hotel. We decided to book this one and I am so glad we did. Hotel staff=amazing! It was my birthday whilst we were there and they gave me a slip of paper upon checking in that had 2 free glasses of Prosecco that I could claim at the bar during my stay. On the day of my birthday the receptionist stopped what she was doing to come over and wish me a happy birthday. Very very attentive. Breakfast was great, had someone cooking fresh omelettes and eggs. Room was great, spacious, clean and fab balcony. Pool area lovely and quiet, bar available throughout the day for poolside drinks. Bar man was happy and welcoming too. Short walk into the centre, I’d say 10 ish minutes. On the way back to the hotel there is quite a hill. Thank you for a fab stay! We will be back.

Tutto veramente ottimo

Location was great, staff very friendly and helpfull

It is more of a 3* plus than a 4 star. Bedroom didn’t have a full body mirror, very bare , toiletries were not replaced everyday, no body lotion, no conditioner . For a 4 star you expected more than what they provided . Breakfast was good . I’ve stayed in much cheaper 4 stars with more charm and far better quality, service and food ! It looks nicer on the pictures. Too pricey for what it is!

Lovely hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff (especially the night manager) were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was clean and well maintained and we never had a problem getting a sunbed. Things to bear in mind: - The hotel is more suitable for adults than children as the pool area is quite quiet, but that suited us. - The train station (for day trips to Verona & Venice) is about a 35 minute walk and there are few taxis. - The hotel is about 15 mins from the centre, but it’s a pleasant walk along the front. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Very pleased with our choice.

Beautiful hotel spotless the housekeeping team came every day to clean our room they were constantly cleaning the public areas too the staff were so helpful and friendly special mention to the night porter he was so friendly and helpful especially after we got caught in a thunderstorm one night he went and got us all towels so we could dry off before heading up to our rooms he is a credit to the hotel I hope the management team acknowledge his excellent customer service he really is a credit to the hotel the breakfast was fabulous cappuccinos brought to our table every morning with a smile fresh omelette cooked to order along with fruit pastries ham cheese youghurt cereals and fresh juices. Cocktails at the pool were very tasty and served to us with a smile would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The pool area lacked atmosphere. I feel they could have a bit of background music playing in saying this the pool was lovely and spotless clean

The room met the expectations. It had a nice view of the lake.

Parking the car was difficult because the hotel has very few spaces and they were repairing the street just outside the hotel.

Gentilezza, pulizia e servizi eccellenti!

The hotel was spotless. The staff were so helpful and friendly. From the reception to waitress/waiter to night porter to cleaning / housekeeping staff the place was excellent.

Its not a big deal but spa could be bigger

The pool area was lovely. The room was clean. The staff were very helpful. A nice breakfast also.

The room was slightly small, however it was clean and tidy. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Otherwise there was no issues with the room.

Lugnet vid poolen. Litet mysigt hotell

Ambiente molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Colazione buona. Camera pulita e profumata

Room clean - air conditioning good. Breakfast superb. Pool was good and well maintained. Very enjoyable stay.

Possibly a little far out of town for some - 20 mins walk but not an issue for us. If you coming by train make sure to book a taxi from the station as it’s quite hard to get a taxi from the rank - not many .

Lovely view over the lake. Nice pool and breakfast is excellent. Daily turndown service appreciated.

Much to be desired in the room itself. No water bottles, tea or coffee amenities in room. Bugs along the windowsill and bedsheets had holes.

Fantastic hotel great location very friendly and approachable staff couldn’t do enough for you will definitely be back

clean, great locations and very nice and helpfull staff

romm was to hot during the night

Tolle Lage nahe des Stadtzentrums Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Super tolles Frühstück Toller Pool und Wirlpool im Aussenbereich

l’ultimo giorno non era possibile stare in piscina

Relaxed atmosphere and very pleasant staff.

Good location, spacious room , amazing breakfast, sunbeds and the pool. Absolutely vacation vibe. Very welcoming. Some parking spaces on the site. If no available, plenty around on the street. Cocktails in the evening. The location is perfect - no noise from the street but at the same time very close to promenade, beach and restaurants. I would love to come again.

The mattress was unusual. Felt like sponge or memory pillow.

Everything about my stay...staff were lovely... especially the breakfast staff ...

Location

I think it’s good but needs a little tlc

the breakfast had good options staff were attentive. The room was spacious. The staff are exceptional, their customer service was very good, especially Nicole who worked in the bar, Kaluf? the night porter and the ladies on reception

The water pressure in the shower was not good and would have liked cupboards with drawers in the room to put clothing into

Little far away from the promenade, this hotel was a good option for slowing down during our recent trip to Lake Guarda. They have free spa facilities and some paid one for massage. Their staff was extremely helpful specially Michole and Jessica who advised us on dinner options ..around town activities and ensured taxi drivers are briefed correctly (language challenges) overall we had a great stay in this hotel.

Great staff and lovely chilled atmosphere

Hotel confortable, personnel accueillant.

Amazing location close to the best parts of the lake. Great breakfast pool and jacuzzi. Loved the fresh juice at breakfast

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is lovely and in a great location.

The breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, omelet on request and tasty pastry, and a smoothie machine.

All excellent Room clean Pool clean

Very good

Dark bedroom, brown bedding with tread pulls and very basic.

Tutto il staff molto gentile, soprattutto Marika e Jessica, veri professionisti. Brave entrambe
