Sehr feines Essen in allen drei Restaurants. Der Chef de Service mit der Brille ist einfach super! Personal super Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Concierge und Rezeption hervorragend. Sehr sauber. Den ganzen Tag wird geputzt. Nach einem Gewitter ist 30 Minuten nachher alles wieder bereit und sauber. Perfekter Parkservice für das Auto. Sehr schön gelegene Anlage mit schönem Privatstrand und Poolanlage. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Das Frühstückbuffet war unterer Standard. Keine Frischgepressten Säfte und keine grosse Auswahl bei den Broten. Nichts lokales auf dem Buffet. Konfitüre aus einer Flasche. Da erwarte ich mehr für den Preis. Strand hätte eine wenig ordentlicher sein dürfen wenn man zurück schaut und nicht auf das Meer. Grosszügiges Bad und Zimmer. In der Nacht sehr ringhörig, da die Zimmertüren und Fenster nicht sehr dicht sind. Wenn Gäste nach Mitternacht nach Hause kommen, sind wir aufgewacht, wenn sie im Flur laut gelacht haben.

Old construction in need of updates .. AC is Central so no thermostats in rooms (it was hot) Bathroom was subpar and too small with tiny corner shower stall , in need of paint and had cracked floor tiles.. Insulation inadequate so very noisy from neighboring guests and parking My room was facing entrance/ parking so very unhappy (was told it was fully booked with no vacancies for change) Noisy and early morning trucks picking up linen laundry. It was an underwhelming experience.

Bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, prachtig gelegen, alles gericht op comfort, voldoende en goede bedjes bij het zwembad, prive strand, rust op het terrein, overal schoon, goed eten en drinken. Trein dichtbij, voldoende eetgelegenheden ook in het stadje.

Dorpje Camogli kent niet echt een winkelhart, dus voor de echte shoppers zijn Genua, Rapallo of Santa Margherita aanraders. Verder is Camogli wel erg leuk hoor.

Chambres très mal insonorisées :-( Nous entendions toute ce qui se passait dans les chambres à côté :-( Et notre chanvre était côté parking juste au-dessus du parking des scooters du personnel … donc bruyant….

Vorweg, die Lage ist einmalig schön, zentral am Anfang der Promenade mit den Restaurants und dennoch sehr ruhig! Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und um die Gäste bemüht. Die Betten sind gut und die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Sehr vorteilhaft ist, dass der Bahnhof in 5 Gehminuten über einen öffentlichen Lift vor der Hoteleinfahrt zu erreichen ist. Der Meerwasserpool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt mit ausreichend Poolliegen und Handtüchern. Wirklich bedanken möchten wir uns beim Consierge Stefano, der uns sehr gute Tipps für Genua gegeben und uns auch die besten Zugverbindungen herausgesucht hat. Sehr angenehm ist auch das bewachte Valet-Parking.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht! Ich reise sehr viel und übernachte auch in echten Luxushotels und kann das sehr wohl beurteilen. Für dieses Hotel im Classic Doppelzimmer 575 EUR die Nacht zu verlangen, ist gelinde gesagt "sportlich". Dazu passt einfach zu vieles nicht. Bsp.: aus dem Wasserhahn kommt nur lauwarmes Wasser. Ich fragte an der Rezeption, ob das zu ändern wäre. Man versprach, sich darum zu kümmern. Ergebnis: nix! Das sehr unedle Badezimmer selbst ist vergleichsweise klein, nur ein Waschbecken und ein Spiegel, die Dusche ist in der Badewanne. Der Fön ist ein festinstallierter Billigfön. Das Zimmer selbst war ziemlich "altehrwürdig", die Einrichtung schon sehr in die Tage gekommen. Die Hotelflure (wir waren im Haupthaus) sind mit alten Läufern belegt, die schon bessere Tage gesehen haben, aus der Form sind und einem solchen Haus nicht genügen. Der Pool ist zwar sehr schön und sauber und hat auch für einen Hotelpool eine ordentliche Größe, aber schwimmen war oft nicht möglich, da er zum dauerhaften Kinderplantschbecken einschließlich Wasserball wurde. Der Bademeister griff kaum ein. Das Frühstück ist zwar opulent, doch für solch ein Hotel unwürdig. Man wird von einem sehr netten "Maitre de Salle" platziert und darf sich dann durch ein Überangebot an Süßgebäck kämpfen. Die Rühreier sind definitiv aus dem Fertigei-Tetrapack und der knochenhart gebratene dicke Frühstücksspeck ist aus dem Presslaib geschnitten. Das Angebot an ungesüßten ungezuckerten Backwaren ist überschaubar und Croissants wurden an keinem Tag nachgelegt. Die Marmelade im Spender ist gut für ein Vetreterhotel. aber nicht der Standard für solch ein Haus. Ein Manko ist auch die Kleidung der wirklich guten und netten Bedienungen, die aber oft durch abgerissene Knöpfe, abgewaschene schwarze Jeans und abgewetzte Gürtel auffielen. Bei 200 EUR die Nacht wäre das alles akzeptabel. Bei 575 EUR aber nicht!

We were treated not as guests but as friends of the owner. Everyone knows our name, our preferences, etc.

It was wonderful time. Everything was like a dream. Fantastic stylish room, elegant helpful waiters. Clean pool with vert kind lifeguards. I have a feeling that I am truly a guest and everything is prepared to make me feel comfortable. The price isn’t low but it is worth. I hope to come back net summer.

What a wonderful surprise! We knew the reviews were excellent, but we didn't realize we would be staying at what felt like a true resort. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Every restaurant on the property was outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced they were. We especially loved spending time at the beautiful pool and the private beach—what an incredible bonus! The location couldn't be better. There is so much to see and explore within walking distance, and the hotel is just steps from the train station, with a convenient elevator providing easy access. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area, and we would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal breakfast service. The private beach and pool were also stellar. Our Suite (#1) had the biggest terrace I have ever seen at a hotel. The prime location in Camogli was also a key component of our happiness during our stay on the Italian Riviera. Oh, and the private boat service on the Gozzo Italiano with Captain Manfredi! Heaven!

Spectacular views. Respectful service. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. The kind of old fashioned hotel that makes you want to dress up for dinner but does not require it. Best for those who understand quality but don't need to show off. This was our third stay. We have already made reservations for 2027.

We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and had a positive experience that we were excited to return. While the property was a little dated even then, the price was fair for a four- star hotel. Unfortunately, our recent stay was a very different experience. The location remains excellent and the buffet breakfast good. However, our room and surroundings, was a major disappointment, especially considering the price of €482 per night for a classic double. We were assigned a room on floor 2, in the rear of the main building, and both room and surrounding hallway felt very tired, and need of renovation. Upon walking to our room, the carpet on the stairs were badly stained and worn. A terrible impression. Along the hallway to our room, scattered old carpets in disrepair were a poor sight. Sightly old furniture and housekeeping carts left in the hallway. Inside our room, the old shower door seal was peeling off, and poorly maintained. The bathroom fixtures old. The 2 mattresses on each of our beds, were past their prime! Both had noticeable depressions that made them feel worn out and very unsupportive, affecting quality of sleep. Mattresses in this condition should be replaced long ago, especially at a hotel charging nearly 500€ per night! Very unacceptable. Small details added up—complimentary water only on the first day, and never replenished. At this price point, that felt stingy and below a four star hotel. We asked to change rooms, but were told there were none available for our first night, and then only, after asking again, did they show us another category for a following night. We were only staying 3 nights, and didn’t want to pack up again and move to another room. When checking out I mentioned the above comments about the room and old stained carpet in hallway, and was told that our room was supposedly the next on the renovation phase. The receptionist said that renovations were being done in phases. Well, if that is the case, they should never charged €482 per night for an old room, they knew was in poor condition! We‘ve stayed in many four-star hotels throughout Europe, that cost less and offered much higher quality accommodations. Based on the stay, the room did not justify the nightly rate. I would only recommend Cenobio Dei Dogi only for its nice location, not for the value.

Cenobio is an old style hotel, with modern features. The level of attention to details is outstanding. The kindness of staff is unbelievable. You don’t find these kind of hotels anymore. The beach, the pool, the restaurants are all great and well looked after.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Some of the reviews had called it dated etc, but I found it to be quite charming, clean and modern. Only a short 40ish minute train ride to the Cinque terre, Camogli made the perfect base for our Ligurian adventure. Hotel Cenobio Dei Dogi is the gem of camogli, easily the best hotel in this area. The breakfast spread was the best we had in Italy and the views over the crashing waves were picture perfect. I'm glad we did not stay in Rapallo or Santa Margherita, when we visited we found them to be too busy and loud. We were so happy to get back to this hotel and get aperols by the pool and just relax. If you want the elegance of the riviera without all the crowds and fuss, this is the perfect place to stay.10/10

Traveling from the United States to celebrate in Camogli with more than 60 of our family members and friends who came from all over the world was a huge undertaking, but from the very beginning, Paola made the entire experience feel effortless. Paola took care of every wish, every detail, and every question with incredible professionalism, warmth, and care. She was always one step ahead, ensuring that everything was perfectly organized while making us feel completely at ease throughout the planning process. Her dedication and attention to detail allowed us to truly enjoy every moment leading up to the wedding and, most importantly, on the day itself. The setting could not have been more beautiful. Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi is a breathtaking venue, with stunning views of the Ligurian coast that left both us and our guests speechless. Many of our guests told us it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever visited. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Every detail came together flawlessly, the service was exceptional, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was magical. Looking around and seeing all of our loved ones gathered together in such an extraordinary place is a memory we will cherish forever. We are deeply grateful to Paola and the entire team at Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi for creating an experience that exceeded every expectation.
