Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location was really good, very close to the centre of Courmayeur, bus station e various restaurant. The room had a balcony with views on the mountains. Breakfast was varied and good quality (not many choices for vegans, but plenty if you were vegetarian). The staff very amazing and provided very good suggestions on walks and sights not to be missed.
The only draw back was the noise from the road which seemed to be the main road into Courmayuer. The hotel provided ear plugs to reduce the inconvenient.

La nostra camera era l'ultima in fondo al corridoio quindi un po' più grande delle altre così come il bagno che era anche finestrato.
Da questo sito non era chiaro che la spa fosse su prenotazione e a pagamento. Non l'ho usata ma avendo scelto la struttura per la sua presenza sono rimasta un po' delusa. Un po' caro per dormire e colazione ma probabilmente in linea con i prezzi del posto

La camera molto areata con la vista suggestiva del paesaggio e del Monte Bianco, i vetri sono insonorizzati e quando si chiudono gli infissi non si sente il traffico della statale.
L’unica nota negativa è la statale al di sotto,se tieni le finestre aperte e forse, nei periodi molto caldi come questo un po’ di climatizzazione non sarebbe male.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026The location was great. I would recommend requesting a room on the back of the property, our room was a little noisy from highway traffic. No issue for us.
The staff covered all information really well, but never mentioned the ski room was locked during the night. Caused slight panic during our early departure. I do admit it was mostly my fault, as signage did state this. Just surprised it wasn’t more emphasized, especially as staff knew we were departing early. Kudos to the young lady who got up to open it for us. Most accommodations in Europe keep the ski room unlocked or supply a key. I do appreciate the extra security.

It would be great to add some vegetables to the breakfasts - cucumbers, tomatoes, greens. I didn't like the design of the room - it was very dark and dim. Despite the fact that the design of the common room and restaurant is excellent.

Ottimo il servizio navetta per gli impianti di risalita di Dolonne. Ottima colazione. Comodo parcheggio della struttura al coperto e accesso diretto dal garage alla skiroom.
Niente di particolare ma alcune piccole accortezze che renderebbero ancora più piacevole il soggiorno. I serramenti un po' datati e da migliorare perché in terra vicino alle finestre al mattino si formano delle pozze d'acqua per la condensa e sono poco insonorizzati. Kit di cortesia un po' povero. Il parcheggio della struttura a pagamento. L'illuminazione della ski room.

Small detail - music was constantly playing in common areas and was unusually good. Felt like it was very consciously chosen by a person who cared.
I cannot think of anything. It is a 3-star hotel and reflects that. Unless you are looking for "luxury" this will completely satisfy.

The location is an excellent. Close to the bus and a 5 minute walk to the cable car to take you up to the mountain. Also lots of restaurants in close walking distance.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026I had an amazing week staying at Hotel Walser. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed into such a warm, friendly, and genuinely homely environment. It instantly feels relaxed and comfortable, with a really cool atmosphere. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, a great start to the day with plenty of choice and quality. The room was spotlessly clean, well kept, and very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and cleaned to perfection every single day by the housekeeping team. The shuttle service to and from the ski resort was seamless and made everything so easy. Honestly, every detail was thought of, and the whole experience was faultless. An amazing stay from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back and stay again. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Walser.

Camera fredda, ho dovuto chiedere di alzare il riscaldamento il giorno seguente; Sala colazione freddissima, riscaldamento inadeguato, colazione di qualità medio-bassa; SPA livello base (60 €), sauna molto piccola ed idromassaggio, anch'essa troppo fredda, termo bassissimi in un ambiente dove si sta prettamente nudi; Garage (10 € al giorno) con portone più che apribile direi bloccato; Servizio navetta per l'impianto di Dolonne (3 min. di macchina) 1 andata ed 1 ritorno garantiti, fuori da questi 2 giri 5€ a corsa; check out alle 10,30, con fiscalità Svizzera ogni mezz'ora in più 10€ da pagare (non comunicato al check in); Aneddoto sulla Spa: al check in Flora ci comunica che la Spa deve essere prenotata per le ore 14-16 oppure 17-19, il 4 gennaio chiedo di prenotare per le 14, ma la receptionist mi dice che ha assegnato la Spa alle 12 e dunque mi può assegnare la Spa solo dalle 15 alle 16, ma il costo resta invariato: 60 € anyway. Empatia (esclusa la volenterosa Sig.ra Flora) ai minimi termini.
