Lovely town for a break on Tour du Mont Blanc. Hotel is in great location and we very clean, well presented and rooms and food were good. Would recommend to anyone visiting area

Great location and quiet
la situation de l'hotel el l'accueil du personnel l
Nice hotel with charm. Nice furnishings in the room. Most helpful staff, helped and solved all my requests, outstanding.
Gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff davvero ottimi
Le mosche in sala da pranzo (ma anche nei locali al di fuori dell'hotel)
Great views. Perfect location.
Location was good, stylish exterior and lobby, staff looked nice and professional
The room was full of frustrating design flaws: the toilet was unusually high, the sink oddly low, and placement of the mirror cabinet made it awkward to use the sink at all. The shower leaked water all over the floor and required holding the wand to use it. A blinking ceiling light added to the discomfort, along with a hard bed and flat pillows. The angled walls and concrete pillars meant the nightstands were in strange, impractical positions, and a large gap under the door let in light from the hallway. The only window opened to a view of a wall—and directly onto a path (used by staff?) that meant smoke, voices, and zero privacy. Since there was no other ventilation, we had to sacrifice security for fresh air. Noise was constant—from upstairs, the hall, and a strange intermittent grinding or sawing sound from the walls throughout the night. The hallway itself had randomly placed furniture which made it more difficult to navigate with luggage, the floor in the room was cracked, worn, and felt dirty, and overall the space was subpar. Parking was not convenient, and breakfast was basic: boiled and scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, yogurt but no muesli, a few breads, and bins of packaged cereal, jams and biscuits. It was slow to get coffee which had to be ordered instead of having a machine like every other hotel we’ve stayed in over the last month of travel through Central Europe! While there may be nice rooms at this hotel, as evidenced by the clientele, Room 30 is definitely not one of them. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a €50 budget experience—yet we paid €138, plus €10 for the dog. Unfortunately, whilst we booked an economy double room, this felt more like an afterthought than a comfortable place to stay in a resort town at the base of Mont Blanc. If searching for a less expensive room in this area, keep looking- don’t book here.
Location.
The room was dark, the furniture was old and scratched, the carpets were marked, and there were ants on the side table. The windows opened out on a fire escape, which in the morning was used by members of staff to have a chat. No aircon, so I couldn't have the windows open because of the above, and they could see right in. So if you do stay, don't have room 108!. I should imagine back in the day the hotel was very grand, but not now.
The hotel matches the description. Great location, cozy. Delicious food and great service at breakfast.
Breakfast was a continental buffet with bread/toast, cheese, ham, bacon, eggs, cereal, fruit, cakes, and pastries

Good location
Nothing. Hotel fine.
No hot water in shower
Very attentive and kind, friendly staff. Very clean. Very good breakfast. Close to cable car. Traditional, in heart of the village. Beautiful views of the mountains. Close to nice bars and restaurants. Short walk to bus stop for free shuttle bus to other areas.

The location could not be better, the staff top notch with charming smiles, the restaurant fantastic, the après-ski bar great and busy, and the whole place was clean and kind and joyous.
The pillows could do with an update to feather! They were a bit stiff and uncomfortable.
Warm Clean tidy and efficient
Nothing particularly
Excellent location close to the ski lift. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.
Nice position and good food for breakfast
It was not very clean and the personnel was not very kind.
This hotel was perfect for us - position , quality and friendliness . we took half board over Christmas and the food was super with a special effort on 24 and 25. Best of all , our dog ( and others too , are allowed in the restaurant with us . Very kind staff and spotlessly clean ( i have dust allergy and didnt sniff once ) The position of the hotel is fantastic right on the start of the pretty pedestrian road we will definately return
perfect for us
Lovely ski hotel
Perfect location right on the center of town.
Looks like needs maintenance the water from the toilet was running yellow before the shower like the room was close for a while and they didn’t check it.
Hotel is 10 min walk from Bus station but it is near the shopping district. Hotel staff were friendly. They allowed us to have breakfast the day that we checked in because we had to leave early the next day before breakfast time
You can hear people talking in hallway. Hot water in bathroom is iffy.
The room with the view from my window, it was amazing.. The hotel so clean and the staff is very friendly. Love it.
The hotel is OK if you don’t expect something wow. It looks just like in the pictures, the furniture is old, but the room was big and clean. We came for the mountains and hiking, so we weren’t going to spend a lot of time inside, so for this purpose it was fine. The staff we interacted with (at reception and breakfast) were nice and polite. Breakfast is ok, but with limited options and it’s the same everyday. Location is perfect, right next to the pedestrian area.
A lot of doors banging all the time and you could hear people talking in the hallway as if they were in the room with you.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also very good.
Rooms are great, full of character. Breakfast was fantastic
I loved the central location of the property in proximity to the main town, hotel breakfast was good and the staff made excellent cappuccinos. The hotel rooms were very clean which is the most important thing to me
The hotel is a tad outdated and furniture is really old, but it gives a nice rustic feel to it
Very good breakfast. Excellent location
Excellent service, great location!
A fan in the room would be helpful in the summer.
Lovely house and feeling of the alps
Remember that it is an old house with limited ventilation and sound insulation
In Courmayeur for the GTC running race. Excellent Hotel in ideal position would highly recommend
The foyer was very cozy
There was alot of noise from the Sports Bar opposite which kept me awake but it stopped around 2400.
Building is a bit old and breakfast was limited choices
Center, cozy, nice breakfast:)
everything perfect
i liked everytnhing
comfortable clean hotel in an excellent location, all the hotel staff were very helpful, all round a perfect choice for our groups ski trip
Great location, good value for money, nice atmosphere and a cozy lounge/bar with sofas and a fire place. Rooms were clean and beds were nice. Ski room to store your skis. Nice eggs and bacon for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and heplful. I would recommend this place overall.
Breakfast was OK, but we were expecting a bit more. E.g., the bread was not very fresh and there were only basic sliced cheese and one kind of cold cuts (it would have been nice to have a few types of nice local cheese with fresh bread). A lot of portion-packaged stuff, e.g., cereals, marmelade, granola...not very sustainable nowadays, creating a lot of trash and waste. Our room neighbours were heavy drinkers (American's) and noisy during the night, not that good soundproofing in the rooms. One night we had to go and ask them to be quiet when they were hanging out in the corridor.
Great location and facilities

The location of the Hotel was excellent as it was convenient for the cable car and the town
Great staff. Super friendly and helpful. Location and super. Good value for money
Location was
Very good location, good breakfast and the staff were very friendly
Room was comfortable but a little dated, plus side bathroom had been refurbed.
good selection at breakfast
seemed like they were providing just the remaining stock before closing for the season
The room was fine and the hotel was clean and smart.
The coffee was dreadful at breakfast and there was a sign saying we had to pay extra if we wanted a second cup (we went to a bakery down the road for a decent espresso instead). This is Italy - famous for good coffee - and it isn't that hard to produce something drinkable. Breakfast starts late and dinner finishes early - not ideal if you want to spend long days in the mountains
The location if you’re going to make the TOR. Mr Genaro was amazing, helping us as much as he could. Thank you so much for your help. Hope this message reaches you.
Lack of cleaning, old dated, definitely need a renovation, the beds are small.
Last minute booking as the original hotel we booked in Courmayeur was unsuitable. Last time I was in Courmayeur was 35 years ago! a much smaller, friendly and less trendy ski resort then. Now it makes Wengen seem tatty! The welcome from the young member of the family and his partner was excellent, friendly BUT not bland corporate “Have a nice day”! rubbish. They simply attended to our every needs, The best way to describe this hotel is that it is a warm friendly quality traditional Alpine hotel which retains its original charm and GENUINE friendly approach to its guests. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in St James, London, Times Square New York, 7th Arrondissement in Paris. Shinjuko in Japan and others. Basically, they are all the same. The staff are trained to within an inch of their lives with permanent smiles. The rooms are perfect and exceptionally comfortable but you could be anywhere in the world. These days, in my 70s I find more enjoyment from staying in traditional hotels which reflect the character of their location, especially family run by friendly people who are proud of their locality their establishment and their profession. At breakfast, the head waitor was immaculate with dark suite and bow tie. He looked as though he'd been been born locally and been in this profession all his life and ran his restaurant with sheer class. No amount of corporate training could achieve his standards. Similarly his assistant, similarly immaculately clad with crisp white shirt, bow tie and black waistcoat was constantly checking every dish and all the tables to ensure everything was perfect. The quality of the breakfast was also first class. My wife and I observed these two for some time as this sort of “professional service” is rapidly disappearing worldwide. This is a much longer than normal review and is indicative of how much we enjoyed our stay here, My skiing days are over, howver I have already recommended Hotel Courmayeur to family members.
The only matter than I didn't like was the fact that I hadn't booked more days here!
Excellent breakfast
Nothing
Stayed at the hotel recently and found the room to have an unmistakable aged aura, accompanied by a lingering old smell. While some may appreciate the vintage charm, it might not be to everyone's liking. Consider your preferences before booking. We were surprised to discover an additional 2.5€ 'coperto' charge per person in hotel’s restaurant. Travelers should be aware of these hidden fees, especially if just stopping by for a quick beverage. That is not what you expecting paying 150€ per night.
