Hotel Duomo - Etruria Collection

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was attractive and clean. And the location, right next to the Duome, could’t have been better.

An efficiently run hotel with helpful staff. Good breakfast . The room and bathroom were well equipped. The air-conditioning worked quite well. The hotel paid parking nearby was a bonus.

The smoke alarm on the ceiling above the bed that flashed every few seconds. It was bright enough to be noticed with your eyes shut at night.

Delightful small hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Delicious breakfast on the outdoor terrace or inside. Perfect location near the Duomo. Right in the old historic centre with the medieval streets and artisanal shops and restaurants.

Great hotel for overnight stay

Its location. And breakfast was good

My air conditioner was sometimes not cold.

The location was great, very comfortable and spacious, staff very friendly, breakfast great, really enjoyed our stay!

It was a simple hotel but really nice. Clean, accommodating staff, a nice breakfast and a great location. One of our rooms the air conditioning wasn’t very strong so that is why a 4 instead of a 5. It was an unexpected stop for us and turned out to be a good choice!!

Perfect location, quiet but still close to the main piazza. Lovely clean room with fridge and tea/coffee making, balcony and view. Lovely choice of breakfast, and coffees. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We loved the location

No negative experiences

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast. Received a restaurant recommendation that was possibly the best meal we had during our vacation.

Nothing negative to report.

Perfect location, great room with air condition, clean and comfortable. Great service - we arrived a bit after 10pm and he waited for us and helped us park and organize. Great breakfast And great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel duomo. This place is nestled right next to the duomo and has available parking if you reserve a spot with them ahead of your check in day. The rooms are spacious and clean with all the modern amenities. We enjoyed walking out the hotel’s front door to the steps that take you directly to the duomo. It’s a nice quiet place with lots of restaurants within walking distance and breathtaking views of the country side. The staff at hotel duomo are amazing; very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The best part was the very friendly and helpful staff.

Posizione

Lovely staff, location, room and breakfast.

Rien.

Stanza molto ampia e pulita personale molto gentile e disponibile ottima colazione

Tutto bene

Clean large room. Excellent staff. Great location. Interesting art. Delicious abundant breakfast

I liked having parking. Warning to have a small car. The streets are tight

Hotel Duomo’s location just of the Duomo square, makes it a great choice. The staff speaks excellent English, is very friendly, and was helpful with restaurants, etc. (make a reservation for Mamma Angela’s) The breakfast is adequate and the espresso/coffee very good. Our spacious room, Suite 302, had a back/side view of the Duomo. The air conditioning, while ok, seemed to work off and on. The only comment we have is regarding the floors. Be very careful in the shower, as the floor is extremely slick when wet. And, strangely, the floor in the room was not very clean. Our white socks picked up a lot from the floor. Wear the provided slippers.

Parking

Great central location. Elevator is helpful for luggage, convenient parking next door. Very nice breakfast. Helpful staff

A little dated

Location and wonderful breakfasts

No internet service

Breakfast was ok. The location is good

In 4 days they didn't change the bes shits. Didn't check what missing or used up, The parking is very far from the hotel and you have to carry your luggage on an unpaved suface and for this they are charging 20 euro per day.

Fantastic location, great breakfast with lovely service by staff , and good coffee. View from balcony from our room terrific. Hotel is literally off the Piazza where the Duomo and nice eating spots, which do not make noise at night.

Hotel forgot to book the taxi for us so we were waiting 30 minutes at the station until once which we thought was ours arrived , but the driver took us . Room was dirty , we wear socks in our room and they were covered in dust . Shower and bathroom tiny and very tired. Toilet brush best not to say . Bright artwork illuminated in room by very bright led lights - bedside light a mixture of bright light and soft light on other bed side. Wi fi dint work for 2 days - thanks Peter for your hard work - the whole hotel lost its system including land Line . Staff upon check in were basically disinterested - looking at their phones . Had to ask for some help to get bags to room. Room door lock dodgy needed a technique ! Furniture in room very old fashioned but room very good size but tiny bathroom. Poor soundproofing within building - we could hear people talking in next room and their bathroom . One day was quite hot so we tried to turn on a/c - didn’t work - asked and were told it’s too early for air con hotel to be switched on. Very comfortable bed - but no valance fitted ! Bin in bathroom broken and light hanging out of ceiling.

Room was nice and clean and the staff were very kind and helpful

Almost everything

We had some problems with the WiFi connection which Pietro helpfully tried and somehow managed to solve.

We had a large clean and comfortable room with a partial view of the Duomo! We loved hearing the bells out our window. The staff was so kind and helpful! A special thanks to Massimo who was so kind and attentive during our stay. He even helped us park our car😊. On that note, the video directions to the parking lot in order to avoid the ZTL zones that they sent via text were great. They were very responsive to questions, and the breakfast provided was better than expected, even after reading the great reviews about the breakfast. The location of the property couldn’t be better!

The only downside was that their phone system wasn’t working during our stay and also there were some issues with the Wi-Fi. Not their fault though!

Bem localizada , equipe atenciosa e prestativa, bom cafe da manha

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Very comfortable stay in tastefully furnished junior suite with very good bathroom. Hotel staff were super attentive, and friendly. Excellent service throughout. Great location, easy to walk to the Duomo and other attractions in the old city. Close to good bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend and if we visit Orvieto again we will return to this lovely hotel.

Nothing!

The hotel was conveniently located. Everything about it was first rate. Great breakfast, good staff.

Location, parking, our room - everything was excellent.

All was great.

Location great. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast buffet gets an A+

Location, helpful staff, great breakfast and cappuccinos

Location was great. Staff was super helpful and communicated before our stay so we had all the correct gps coordinates to find our way. Breakfast was ample and delicious.

Room is very compact and towels were small.

I would highly recommend this hotel in Orvieto. It was comfortable, with tasteful furnishings. The staff were very helpful and assisted me in keeping my luggage after my stay for several hours. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location of the hotel close to the beautiful Duoma made it easy to find and at the centre of the town.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Duomo in Orvieto. It has a smaller, charming feel that makes it comfortable and welcoming. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay, especially with arranging dining reservations and answering questions about the area. The room cleaning service was impressively fast and efficient, and we appreciated the spacious glass elevator, which made getting around with luggage much easier. Breakfast each morning was wonderful with a great selection, and staff that made it a relaxing atmosphere. The best part of the hotel is definitely the location — right in the center of the city and perfect for exploring Orvieto on foot. While some areas of the hotel could benefit from a refresh or update, the excellent service and unbeatable location more than made up for it. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location. Great city.

Very good location.

Shower.

Wonderful Experience! The staff was super helpful with restaurant recommendations "Mama Angelas" and finding the private parking lot. Totally worth the 20 euros a day! We had a room with a lovely view of the Duomo and rooftops up on the 3rd floor. Comfy bed! Ideal location for visiting Orvieto!!!

Staff was great

Nice location in old town.

While location was good the shower floor was dangerously slippery and the room heat / air system did not work.

Private gated parking was available. We were in the annex a short walk away from the main hotel. Quiet and convenient.

Get room 302 with the amazing view of The Duomo.

Assolutamente consigliato!

Really great breakfast with eggs, bacon and many other options. Excellent cappuccinos. Lovely, helpful staff who made dinner reservations for us. Great water pressure in the shower.

Not a thing.

Location Breakfast Service Large room

It was in a perfect location! We were steps from the Duomo and many charming shops and restaurants. The staff was great and the breakfast was very good. The decor was a bit dated but very comfortable. I would definitely choose it again and recommend it highly.

One thing... please please please, put some not-slip strips on the shower floor. It was a great shower except that it was treacherous in how slippery it was. Stepping out of it was a hazard, please add some strips.

Lovely property in a great location. Staff is excellent and very friendly. We had a flat tire and Europcar was difficult and unhelpful. Alyssa, at the front desk, made many calls and found us a mechanic to fix the tire. She was amazing. Kudos Alyssa. The rest of the staff has also been terrific. Great breakfast. Will certainly stay here again.

We had a lovely suite but the other rooms are a bit small. Still location and property is perfect.

Great location and very friendly staff. All the staff were extremely helpful and patient with our questions. It rained while we were there and they have nice umbrellas for use.

Breakfast was excellent at the main thing was the helpfulness of the staff

The pillows

La ubicación es inmejorable!

Great location, super clean and good service—the staff really work hard and are very accommodating in several languages. Good value and a very good breakfast.

Everything was great. The location is amazing, very close to the Duomo in the centre of Orvieto but the street itself is quiet. The staff were happy and helpful. We left early the first morning to get the bus to Bagnoregio. Breakfast had not started but as we were leaving they made us coffee to go and gave us food from the breakfast bar. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Nothing.

It is right in the heart of Orvieto. A lovely, small walled town on top of the hill. It is right next to the Duomo. One of the most beautiful cathedrals in Italy. The staff and included breakfast was really nice.

I had no complaints with the property. Wish I would’ve stayed there a few more nights.
