Hôtel très propre, collé au pub Celtic. Parfait
It needs to provide parking and a lift would have been nice
Staff was good
Price was too high . Room shown in pics was not exactly like that .
The single beds were narrow but very comfortable. The bedding was immaculate. The bathroom was seriously tiny but again was quite immaculate. Great towels. Great shower. The street was very central and only 10 minutes walk from Connolly train station. One street away from the Luas tram. The staff were very pleasant. Spanish girl who had the biggest smile. She really wanted to help us. We were at the back of the building so didn’t hear the busy street.
The building is very tired. It could do with a paint job inside and out. Lots of wee maintenance jobs too. The hallway carpet was tired looking too. The tiny window in our room (106) was very very dirty as was the curtain. It did not open so the room did get hot and stuffy. We put the fan on all night but it didn’t make much difference. We did not do breakfast as it seemed expensive for what it was. Could have did with a lift. So many stairs (!) The bar next door was noisy, the speakers were at full volume for the guitar player/singer which was unnecessary. They literally threw us out at midnight sharp. We believe this is normal. The prices seemed high.
Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Great location.
You are above a bar so it is noisy at times. Luckily, it’s a great bar with great music.
The staff was friendly and helpful, including offering to store our luggage on our departure day. The location was convenient to restaurants, museums, the river, and numerous pubs and shops. It was close to many sites frequented by tourists, but also in a vibrant international neighborhood.
Those not interested in the nightlife and its noise late will want to stay elsewhere.
The staff were very personable and friendly. It was close to all the sites.
The room was extremely small, and the bathroom was like a closet. Many of the amenities were unavailable, such as a fan and a safe for valuables. There is no elevator, so we had to walk 4 flights of stairs. The area is somewhat sketchy.
The pub next to it was decent.
The window opens into a building site. It doesn’t open as the floor of the building site it half way up your window. Poor facilities - bathroom was tiny and didn’t feel clean. Very poor standard.
Trato excelente!!!!
Todo muy bien! Volvería sin dudas
Central location and friendly professional welcome
The location was a bit lively but didn’t really detract from the stay.
Proximity to places
Walk up. No help with heavy bags. Very small room
Dusche & Toilette sehr klein
The cleaning lady and lady who served breakfast is an absolute asset to this place. She is friendly, helpful and just a lovely person.
Our bedroom window over looked an extension/building site. We didn't feel safe opening it as anyone could have accessed our room from the ladder outside. There was a funny smell in the room. Room was basic but clean. The tap on sink was broken and pointed water directly out of sink. Bathroom was tiny.
it was fine, just a little smaller than i expected but for dublin city centre i guess the price reflects the room. Its good to stay for a night.
Location was handy, close to city centre. Bed comfortable. Staff were lovely. Kebab shop across road handy.
Room was a bit small.
It was convenient to everything and was very walkable. The room was clean and neat. The bed was comfy.
No lifts!! If you have luggage keep that in mind. The rooms are small and the shower is tiny. I am petite and had a hard time.
close from train station and not far from bars
showers very small
Room was like a prison cell.
Good location in terms of proximity to city centre.
Room was on first floor right above a noisy pub.
Friendly staff, location good
Smell of damp in bathroom. Room doesnt resemble the pictures online.
The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly and made extra effort to ensure our comfort and care. Felt like a 'home from home'. The breakfast was very good too.
The view from our window showed the roof/s of neighbours and these needed cleaning (some rubbish was lying there) .... nothing else comes to mind and despite this we will most certainly recommend and return to stay again at Celtic Lodge
Super good location
Loud if window open as it s very central
Nothing.
Nominal rates were very expensive, and the price-quality ratio was even worse. Cleaning is the worst that I have seen in my life. Cleaning is every three days and it is not even deep. First night water did not work. The building and the room is very narrow and old, and not very good maintained. I can't say the staff is nice (but I would like to highlight the amazing ladies in the kitchen who were indeed very helpful and kind, as well as the receptionist at nights). I do not recommend this place.
Staff were v nice and accomodating
It feels like it needs a good deep clean, and the mattresses are a little lumpy.
The food and service at breakfast was fantastic. The bar was great and very handy too.
Staff was very helpful
Nothing
The staff could not have been more helpful, they were so welcoming. My room was a single, so not spacious but suited my needs perfectly. Breakfast was great, again the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for me since I was attending Croke Park and the stadium was an easy walk from the guesthouse. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and some food before the concert. Really handy, great atmosphere and good food.
Clean and comfortable. Excellent central location. Music wasn't as loud as I had expected it to be
Room and bathroom in particular was quite small, one small window on the upper wall only, so no view. However this window was able to be opened by a switch.
We picked the hotel for it's location which was decent. Staff provided us with a fan.
We had bug bites overnight. We could hear the band playing in the bar until almost 1am. We had a window but it opened up to a room under construction. Ventilation was almost non-existant.
Everything was good. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I really enjoyed my stay.
I had no complaints. Everything was good
Great location for a short stay

The location was grea.
Grimy showers, safe inoperable, TV didn’t work, noisy, no AC, no toilet roll hanger?
Helpful friendly staff. I needed a quick breakfast and it was swiftly produced.
The washbasin in the tiny bathroom was difficult to use, otherwise it was all good.
Very polite people and very delicious breakfast, thank you very much 🙂
Letti piccoli e scomodissimi e bagni piccoli e poco curati.
Location, cleanliness and staff were excellent
When I read the reviews about the bathrooms being small I didn’t realise how small - you literally enter and close the door and that’s all the space you have 🤭
Happy
Rooms
Location and felt safe.
The room safe didn't work.
It was clean, uncomfortable and just what I needed for one night
The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. It was also extremely hot in the room with no ventilation and no fans.
Ubicación y limpieza
Habitación y baño muy pequeño.
Very close to a good pub, The Celt. Staff were all very nice.
Room was small. No Air Con. Taps in bathroom barely ran water. Excessive noise from outside. Dublin is extremely expensive and drinks at pubs near Croke Park changed almost every time you went to the bar. We walked through The Temple Bar pub to have a look but didn't order a drink given the reported prices and changing prices.
Personale molto accogliente e disponibile. Localizzazione in città ottima
