Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Vriendelijk personeel, heel efficient allemaal.

Terrible experience – avoid this hotel! The service here is awful. Our air conditioning didn't work, and the staff's lazy response was just "that’s what there is." The room was filthy and full of hair when we arrived. On top of that, the housekeepers ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign and walked into our room twice! The water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, and there is zero soundproofing—you can hear every single noise from the entire hotel. Definitely not worth the money.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026We liked the free parking on site. And there are local nearby restaurants that were good. The lift was working.
The room: We unfortunately stayed at a time during a heatwave (+40 degrees) and the rooms have no air conditioning, despite this being a specific criteria we were looking for on the booking search. We were so uncomfortable during the sleep even with a fan and windows fully open, it was a hotbox. The breakfast: please don't pay for the breakfast, we found mould on the crepes (see photos) and the croissants were stale. For 2 people, we paid €28 which was definitely not good value and quality as you would get at any local boulangerie. This demonstrated that not only the food was re-served again over several days but was also not kept appropriately.

Cleanliness
6.5/10Multiple guests reported problems (dust under beds, hair on arrival, at least one report of a filthy room), though several others described rooms as clean — overall below average cleanliness.
Service
8.5/10Generally praised reception and welcoming staff in several reviews (excellent receptionist, easy late check-in), though one detailed report described poor staff response and housekeeping ignoring DND.
Location
8.8/10Quiet and convenient for travellers en route with nearby restaurants and free parking; some guests noted the town centre is a little distant.
Room Quality
7.4/10Mixed: comfortable beds cited by some, but several comments about very small bathrooms (like a caravan), hard beds for others, low water pressure and modular/odd bathroom layouts.
Amenities
7.3/10Free parking and air conditioning praised by some, but multiple complaints about A/C not working or absent and no fans, reducing the amenities score.
Value for Money
9/10Several guests explicitly called out excellent value/rapport qualité prix and were very satisfied with what they paid; a minority felt price was high in heat periods.
Food and Beverage
8.7/10Breakfast received strong positive mentions ('àlles overtroffen', very good breakfast) though a few found it a bit costly.
Overall Experience
9.4/10Overall pleasant for transit stays: friendly staff, good breakfast and convenient location lead to high overall satisfaction for many guests despite notable issues (A/C, some cleanliness and small bathrooms).
