Pulizia stanza e arredo. Bagno enorme. Piscina sul terrazzo.
The breakfast was excellent Will definitely visit again because of that😊
The bathroom was below the belt The beds were 2 separate beds and was really uncomfortable for us But in general the whole experience was worth it

Struttura pulita, personale gentile, colazione buona. Buona qualita prezzo.
Me gustó mucho

Quite and good aircandiction

Restaurant Manager, unprofessional, provoking and driven by his ego! Totally embarrassed my son and I (my son can struggle when it comes to eating in public) to the point where another family pulled me aside to say they are happy to make statement with regards to his disgusting attitude. Requested to speak to Hotel Manager, gave my room number, no acknowledgement at all

Location and option for an adult pool
If i was to be picky the water in the adult pool was warm and gym was small.
A bit late with my review as we stayed here again during May 2026 during which we celebrated our anniversary. I have lost count how many times we have stayed at this hotel, and we're staying again in October 2026. Reception Staff : Always happy to see us, & are very welcoming and very helpful. Rocio, in reservations, moved on to pastures new last year so we wish her well. Angie is still on the team, always with a smile :-) New faces have welcomed us over the past year, sorry names allude me. The team try their utmost to accommodate room requests, it can't be guaranteed so please keep that in mind. Restaurant & Daniel Bar : Familiar faces with warm welcomes. We’ll miss Camino dearly on her retirement. A big shout out to some of the wonderful team : Juan-Carlos, Juan, Stephano, David, Yolanta (who does the most amazing Baraquito's at Daniels Bar) Alfredo, Belen, Annie, El-Hassan and the joyful Yobana at breakfast time (she does the best fresh fried eggs & omlettes) Cleaning staff work hard so don't really have time to stop and chat, but will always be grateful or a smile and quick Hola. Rooms : We have been happy with our room allocations. The rooms have a free mini fridge which is perfect for keeping snacks and drinks in. Complimentary water bottles are in the fridge on your arrival. The back of the hotel may be classed as quiet in the hotel grounds but if you’re a light sleeper, earplugs will be a quick and easy solution for the noise drifting from Veronica's (outside of the hotels control so no point complaining). Food : If you stay more than a week, then of course the food is repetitive, that happens in all hotels wherever you go, so don't moan! Breakfast - can't fault it, lots to choose from. I did have a little giggle to myself with hot carrots & sprouts on offer at breakfast in recent times. Obviously people eat them otherwise they'd take them off the breakfast menu. Evening Meal - I'm a fussy eater but always find something. Desserts are to die for, so watch your waistline ;-) Don't forget, you pay for evening drinks in the restaurant but very reasonably priced. Pool area : The lifeguard, Paco, is also another long serving member of staff :-) Shallow end is still relatively deep so watch over your younger ones. Kids shouldn't be left unattended anyway. There is a shallow kids pool towards the rear of the sun terrace. Rooftop Pool : Plunge pool rather than for swimming. Lifeguard unlocks the door at 10am & its locked at 6pm daily. There is a vending machine but no toilets! Access is gained via your room card if you are in premium rooms only. Sunbeds and parasols are already laid out, always leave them as you found them if you move them around - its just etiquette really. Daytime Entertainment : Nice to have regular things happening during the day if you're one to join in. Entertainment team don't hassle if you just want to veg in the sun. Evening Entertainment : I cannot comment as we're usually out and about at that time but it's based on a weekly rota, looks varied and seems to be a good lineup. Location : 4 out of 5 as some people may find the walk up hill back to the hotel from the beach a little difficult. However, the hotel is placed well for Siam Mall and Siam Park, being roughly a 10 min walk. Yes, the hotel is near to a brothel, which I think may have now closed down (?) and No, it's never been a problem to walk passed with my family. All in all, it's a lovely hotel for the star rating and very reasonably priced. It's home from home for us and will always look forward to returning. Tim & Karen Edwards
My family and I had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Oro Negro in Tenerife. The hotel was comfortable and in a great location, just a short walk from the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and a relaxed atmosphere. There was entertainment throughout the day, every day, with activities suitable for both adults and children. We stayed on a half-board basis, which included breakfast and dinner. The food was really good, especially the breakfast, which offered plenty of choice. The dinner buffet was enjoyable, although I personally felt it could have offered a wider selection of dishes. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is a great choice for couples, families, or groups of friends looking to enjoy Tenerife. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay at the Catalonia Oro Negro and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. From the moment I arrived, all of the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They really made us feel valued throughout our stay. The food was very good, with plenty of choice at every meal, and we always found something I enjoyed. I stayed in a Deluxe Room, which was definitely worth it. It was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable that I had a great night’s sleep every night. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team. They were absolutely brilliant and worked so hard to make every day and evening enjoyable. The entertainment really added something special to my holiday and made spending time at the hotel just as enjoyable as going out. The location is excellent too – close enough to walk to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants, while still being in a great spot to relax. Considering everything the hotel has to offer, I thought it was excellent value for money. Overall, I had a wonderful holiday and would happily stay here again. Thank you to everyone at the Catalonia Oro Negro for making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Oro Negro and would happily return! The location was great, with everything we needed within easy reach. Our room was spacious. The balcony was definitely a highlight with great views of the sea and the mountains. The staff were all friendly and but a special mention has to go to the entertainment team. They were absolutely fantastic every day. The Wednesday pool party was a particular highlight and so much fun! Breakfast had plenty of choice every morning. The crepes were especially delicious! Dinner was a little repetitive, but as we’ve visited Tenerife before, we’d already planned to eat out at some restaurants, so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Perfect friendly hotel And love coming back to hotel been coming since Karin has been working in hotel so lost count and everyone is so friendly and are like family to us now Restaurant there is always plenty to choose from at breakfast and dinner Cleanliness rooms where always cleaned everyday and no problem in room at all apart from neighbors been so loud when we arrived in room next to us 936 as noise level got so loud early hours in morning coming from room 938 Daniel’s bar offers food during the day and drinks and amazing service from everyone Anamacion perfect as always something different everyday with Karin, Noel , Tamara and Aldring we had a foam, white, circus pool and neon party ans activities throughout the day where good you had darts, water carpet, pool bikes , paddle board , water darts, aqua gym , French and green bowls , air hockey so much choice and I got to help the team Night entertainment was great as you get karoke twice a week , singers , circus acts , parties at night twice a week as it alternates, Most of all I had a gray token celebrating my birthday first time with my friends in hotel this year which made it special and also on my return I got a bottle of champagne in my room next day Look forward to my next return as I normally come twice or three times a year

Location was good as it wasn’t far from everything overall I don’t think I’d return here due to a couple of things such as keycards kept cutting out all the time meaning I had to keep going downstairs to reception to cut them again there was one lift working so it was a nightmare all the time and the housekeepers kept holding the lifts in the morning meaning we were waiting longer for the one lift and we were on the 9th floor we had an issue with our door not locking and there was always cockroaches on our balcony our balcony was never cleaned as the ashtray was never emptied we had to keep asking for towels as the house keeper kept saying later for towels when we asked and we never received so had to keep going to reception and they kept trying to come in the morning to clean the room baring in mind my partner still being in bed I would say give us a couple of minutes and we should be out and she would say I come tomorrow we had a family room as my mum came with me and my partner room wasn’t very spacious for 3 people no hooks for bags or nothing not that many plug sockets we even had a housekeeper come in with towels and opened the door on my mum as she was on the toilet we wasn’t expecting that as the cleaner could see the door shut and should of just left them on the bed the food was okish like the mash pizza carbonara was nice not really much change in food in the nights pretty much same every night you even have to pay for water at dinner the one guy with glasses in particular trying to intimidate people walking round like a police guard denied my partner to come in as he hurt his feet and was bandaged and could only wear sliders due to that and he was refusing him to come in the food hall which is ridiculous as it’s dress coded why I don’t know as it’s nothing fancy there they refused my brother aswell because he was in a vest but then most girls were in vests flip flops basically in the stuff that’s so called restricted to be worn they are a bit sexist towards the men at dinner with what they wear it’s so stupid not much there for kids food wise either really if there fussy never full in the hall really when I was there i recommend just bed and breakfast and eat elsewhere dinner as it’s not worth it overall don’t recommend this hotel to people and I wouldn’t return
Overall we had an amazing time and the location very good . Although, the cleanliness was not good , our beds were made once , our bins were emptied once and they was full almost everyday , we had to leave our rubbish outside for it to be collected . The most they did was leave towels on our bed every so often. The food as the buffet , had a good selection but was pretty much the same everyday and didn’t taste great .
My family and I stayed here for a week during our holiday in Tenerife. As it was our first visit to the island, we wanted a hotel that was close to the beach while still being far enough from the nightlife to enjoy peaceful evenings on the balcony and soak up the atmosphere. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our visit. We did have one minor issue, which I reported to reception, and it was resolved promptly. We experienced no further problems for the remainder of our stay. The hallways and lifts are a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment, but this didn't impact our overall experience. The food was excellent, with a great variety of dishes available at both breakfast and dinner. A special mention goes to one of our regular servers, David, whose friendly personality and helpful recommendations made every meal even more enjoyable. On busier evenings, you could occasionally hear music from the nearby bars and clubs, and some noise from neighbouring rooms, but it was never disruptive enough to spoil our stay. Considering the location, facilities, food, and service, we felt the hotel offered excellent value for money and was a great base for exploring Tenerife. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would happily consider staying here again.
I visited this hotel from the 9th-16th of July this year and the experience that me and my friend shared wasn’t the best as many things went wrong. Firstly, we found out that the door to our room would not lock from the outside bare in mind it was very close to the reception and on the bottom floor so it would’ve been easy for anyone to just enter the room at any point which is dangerous. we then reported this to reception and they sent a technician to fix it which worked until the next time we tried the door and it wouldn’t lock again so then we had to get someone to fix it for a second time. After this we then had the opposite issue where any key would not let us into the room and then when we went to go and speak to reception to try and get it fixed and one of the receptionist ladies laughed in our face and said it was because my phone was too close to it even though the whole time we had been out of the hotel the key was in the bag and my phone was in my hand. The last issue we had which was rather inappropriate was that as i was eating food in the hotel one night a waiter came and approached me and handed me a napkin with his number written on the back of it. This made me feel uncomfortable to the point that i could not finish my food and then was unable to go and eat in the hotel restaurant for the remainder of the trip which was about 4 days meaning that i did not get much out of what i payed for half board for the holiday. I reported this incident to a lovely member of staff who helped as much as he could but i am unsure if it actually got dealt with. Overall, i believe the experience that i had at the hotel was poor and we also had housekeepers just walking into the room as we were sleeping majority of the days.
Me encantó lo bien que nos trataron. La habitación y el desayuno un gusto. Los trabajadores de 10. La piscina premium brutal. Mil gracias.

First time staying in Oro Negro, and for what we paid, I really can’t fault the place. Few mixed reviews but I think people really need to manage expectations. Seems some people expect champagne on a lemonade budget. The staff have been great all through our stay. Very friendly, always say hello to you, happy to help and clearly work very hard. This extends from reception to cleaning to restaurant to the entertainment team. Check in straightforward as was checkout (which is 12pm). Our room was basic but functional and clean. Had air con which was essential in mid July. Rooms cleaned every day, new bed sheets and towels every other day. Pool area is clean and well maintained. Sunbeds unlocked at 9am on the solarium, 10am by the pool. No mad scramble but would recommend getting down by 9ish if you want a good location and umbrella. We had no issues all week but were here the week before schools break up for summer. Entertainment team had something on everyday during the day and evening so if you wanted a chill one all week, you’d have plenty going on here. Water polo, aqua bikes, aqua gym, darts, and evening entertainment of singers, acrobats, karaoke, bit of everything. Restaurant had plenty of choice during breakfast and dinner. Yes, it can be a bit repetitive if you’re here a week or longer but this isn’t isolated to this hotel, that’s pretty much any half board or all inclusive hotel you go to within this price range. But there was always enough choice to mix things up. Freshly cooked omelettes in the morning in front of you, same with steaks and chicken and pork in the evenings. Location wise, 10 mins walk to Las Americas beachfront and 15 mins to Golden Mile so easy enough to walk around. Very slightly uphill when walking back but nothing too heavy. Couple of supermarkets and restaurants and bars even closer within 5 mins walk if you didn’t want to go far either. We booked through TUI, return flights from UK, transfers, half board for a week for about £650 each mid July. Really can’t fault our stay for the price. Mix of families, couples and groups of friends staying by the looks of it, mixed aged group but really chill vibes. So be wary of negative reviews of people saying this is the “worst stay ever” and all that. It’s a solid 3* hotel and would recommend.
This is a good 3 star hotel. All the staff are polite and a special thanks to reception. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Location is good for bars and restaurants. Pool is cleaned daily. Restaurant is OK can always find something to eat. Be back in September. A good around Hotel for a 3 star. Thank you for a great holiday.
Hotel and staf
We have just returned from the oro negro, this being our second visit this year, we were here in feb and are coming back out in sept The hotel is in a lovely location just far enough away from the noisy area of americas but within easy walking distance of some lovely restaurants. The hotel is comfortable, we go for the upgrade and have had no problems at all with the room ( we ask for the same room) as my husband has a lovely view of the golf club, sea and pool areas Housekeeping is excellent room always cleaned very well Breakfast is very good Eve meal is variable some things could be hotter, but you wont go hungry as plenty of it and its refreshed very quickly, we do eat out in the eve as so many restaurants to choose from in americas and christianos which is a short taxi drive or walkable one way, we tend to walk there and taxi back We only use the roof top pool area as we like the peace and quiet, the bottom pools are unfortunately the usual hassle of getting a sunbed as people are very territorial about there position and too be honest i cant be doing with the noise, so the rooftop suits us perfectly nice atmosphere, calm and no children! Now the only criticisms i have are they could benefit from a toilet on the roof top and the floors and pool could be cleaned inside like the downstairs one every morning! The floor didn't see a sweep or a mop all the time we were there the floor had a sticky patch that was very annoying, and had the floor been mopped every morning this would not have been an issue The pool needed a clean around the edges!as that wasnt touched whilst we were there, but the lovely lifeguard was meticulous about cleaning the glass panels around the perimeter. Overall a lovely Hotel for our needs, 3 times in one year for us so it must be okay👍
The room and view, breakfast
Noisy party neighbours banging doors at 4am. No available lounge chairs by the pool

Clean hotel would not recommend if you have children no entertainment for them if you have dinner booked as part of holiday you can’t even get soft drinks with meal for kids or adults like fruit juice or water you have to pay extra and if you take your own water they complain not enough variety for children to eat drink is included in dinner but for breakfast it is but you can’t get it for dinner so have to pay or go thirsty you pay a lot of money for the dinner
All good except I'll never go back there because they force you to buy your drinks (including soft drinks and water) during your meal. They even took my water bottle away during the meal, and then returned it to me after, even though the temperature was mid 20's most evenings , so it felt a bit like a scam.
I would not stay at Catalonia Oro Negro Hotel again. Our first room had a terrible smell that made it unpleasant to stay in. Instead of fixing the issue properly, maintenance repeatedly came in and sprayed air freshener to mask the smell. After several complaints, they finally agreed to move us to another room. One thing we weren’t told before arriving is that the rooftop pool is only available to premium guests. This was really disappointing, as we only found out once we were there. The food was also very poor in quality and was one of the worst parts of our stay. The biggest issue, however, was the way we were treated by a member of staff in the restaurant who referred to himself as “the big boss.” He approached me in a very aggressive and patronising manner because I was wearing flip-flops. Rather than politely asking me to change my footwear or explaining the dress code, he got in my face, raised his voice, and spoke to me in a completely unprofessional way. To make matters worse, after causing the scene himself, he turned to other guests and said, “Sorry for the show.” What made this even more frustrating was that within five minutes I counted nine other guests wearing flip-flops, none of whom appeared to be challenged. The rules were clearly not being enforced consistently, which made the way I was singled out feel unfair. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the smelly room, poor food, misleading information about the rooftop pool, and the unacceptable behaviour of a senior member of staff, I cannot recommend this hotel.
We have just returned from a fab stay at this hotel! The hotel was very clean, great location and the staff were all so kind, friendly and welcoming! We had a half board stay which suited us perfectly, our children loved the breakfast pancakes! It was easy to get taxis to travel a bit further out - we went to Siam Park, Siam Mall, the market and a few other places which didn't cost much at all to get there. Would definitely return and recommend! Our kids loved the pool and the smaller pool for younger ones was perfect for the toddlers in our group.

great views nice pool i missed breakfast but its included so very good price. nice room with nice balcony
not much just its slightly further back but only 5 minutes
Just got back from another fab holiday here. We had a lovely room with pool view. Staff are friendly and hotel is perfect for our needs. Food is repetative but we eat out. Cleaners are in daily and do a good job. Entertainment was inside this year due to work outside but it did not spoil our holiday. Just booked to go back again next year.
We had a very pleasant stay at Catalonia Oro Negro in Tenerife. The hotel offered a welcoming atmosphere, and what truly stood out was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Special thanks to the ladies and gentlemen at the reception, who were always polite, helpful, and ready to assist us with a smile. When we asked for suggestions about places to go out, they gave us very nice ideas and useful recommendations, which helped us enjoy our stay even more. We would also like to thank the dining room staff, who were attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our stay. Their positive attitude made our meals even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the Assistant Manager, who was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. When a problem occurred, he responded immediately and offered satisfactory solutions, showing real care for the guests. Overall, Catalonia Oro Negro is a hotel with excellent staff who make guests feel welcome and valued. We truly appreciated their support and hospitality.
The staff were absolutely delightful. Camino was always helpful at breakfast.
My room was facing the street so it was always noisy. Couldn't really have a silent moment unless it was late at night
Location of the hotel was good, as it’s generally 10-15 minute walk from the strip, restaurants and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The TV in the room wasn’t working, called reception and they sent someone up. But I was without a working TV for a day. There was also a cockroach in my room which was really gross and made my night uncomfortable as I saw it running around and couldn’t sleep properly. Re: housekeeping only changed one bin in the room and made my bed. They didn’t really clean the room or change towel and the other bins. Lastly I also found navigating the hotel quite hard to begin with as it’s like a maze with different lifts for different parts of the hotel but signage isn’t that clear. Not ideal with luggage and suitcase trying to find your floor. This could be improved.
Friendly and helpful staff. Everything very clean. Deep pool Very good breakfast buffet
Loud construction next door to pool/sunbathing area Lifts are not great (slow, finicky)
The staff were lovely, we got there for a later check in and they had made us bags of sandwiches to eat as we had missed dinner time. The pool is big enough and they have plenty of loungers. As well as many activities like kareoke and water aerobics on somedays.
The food it's self was really tasty but half the time it was rather cold/luke-warm.
Pięknie, czysto, dobra lokalizacja - spacerkiem dosyć blisko do plaży, sklepy, restauracje blisko.
Loved the rooftop pool, gives you a private and chill area to relax. AC working in the room that adds on to its point, all the staff very helpful and lovely too. Specially bar team by the pool and chefs at the breakfast time ❤️❤️
I was at the 8th floor, view was spectacular
The hotel was very nice the staff were very helpful friendly and welcoming the room was excellent value very clean modern and fresh
Nothing there was nothing to not like
Beautiful spread of food for the breakfast 😋
No kettle in the room
Me despertaron varias veces. Intenté llamar a recepción y nunca atendieron mi llamada.
nothing special
The restaurant staff is very pushy. The hoods don't work well, and all my clothes smelled of smoke. The restaurant price doesn't even include water.
