La ubicación, en pleno centro de Chinon, el hotel por dentro esta rehabilitado pero mantiene la esencia, el personal era amable y servicial y el desayuno estaba bastante bien.

El tamaño de la habitación, era quizás algo pequeña, pero en si la habitación estaba muy limpia.

La situation en plein centre historique et la possibilité d’utiliser le parking de l’hôtel grâce à la gentillesse de Lison à la réception.

Le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’ascenseur, surtout lorsque l’on occupe une chambre au 3ème étage ! Nous aurions apprécié d’en être informés lors de notre réservation.

Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom, recently refurbished. Nice having the roof terrace as a quiet area to sit out. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good location in the main square with a good choice of restaurants. Car park (paying) nearby.

Struttura bellissima al centro di Chinon con stanza non grandissima ma confortevole. Bagno piuttosto piccolo, ma ben accessoriato. Colazione ottima e varia.

La doccia molto scivolosa e purtroppo, ma non ne faccio una colpa alla struttura visto dove si trova, la mancanza dell'ascensore. Tre piani di scale ripide e strette con tre trolley di cui uno grani, non è proprio il massimo.

Not great hospitality. Host wouldn’t let us store small bags of our friends for 3 hrs saying they should bring to their own hotel which was closed. It was 104 degrees and we were on bikes. 2 SMALL Backpacks - not large suitcases! AC was barely adequate in room and common rooms were hot. Lots of stairs to 3rd floor room.

Omg! Where do I start? This amazing hotel is perfect! It was right in the middle of the city, in a square, where there were lovely bars and restaurants. The staff for so friendly and welcoming. Our room looked out to the square, but we couldn’t hear anything at night. The breakfast was fantastic. Everything you could want!! (Full English breakfast too!) there was a lovely roof top terrace, where you can get drinks. It was so good, I need to go back!!

The hotel is central to everything in Chinon, perfectly placed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was lovely, large, clean and very well decorated. It was so quiet and the bed was so comfortable. The shower was amazing!

Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux avec un très grand choix. L'hôtel est idéalement placé en plein centre ville sur une placette ombragée avec de nombreux restaurant. De plus, il est à deux pas de l'ascenseur gratuit menant à la Forteresse Royale gratuite. Le personnel est vraiment accueillant et sympathique. J'ai beaucoup aimé la décoration des espaces communs et la terrasse sur le toit avec vue sur la Forteresse est vraiment très chouette.

Le troisième étage sans ascenseur mais cela était à prévoir en choisissant la chambre la moins chère.

Excellent location in the center of Chinon, this hotel offers a perfect opportunity to explore the town and surrounding countryside, which is just amazing. The room was more than adequate, both in size and cleanliness, the only drawback being the rather small size of the bathroom and shower. They also offer private parking, which is very important given the location of the hotel.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door, Nemrod, which is incredibly good, was not open the night we stayed, and we were disappointed with the meal we had at the other restaurant, Maja, which is also close to the hotel, But that's upon us for not checking opening times.

Beautiful location. The most helpful team of front desk staff we have ever encountered in many years of travel.

Air conditioning was perfect, it was extremely cool and comfortable despite being on the top floor and a heatwave outside. Really peaceful sleeps and completely silent despite being in the centre and the hotel full. We booked and checked in last minute and everything was extremely smooth. It’s also just 20 mins drive from the sleeping beauty castle.

Things to note: For medium sized dogs like ours they charge a €25 euro pet fee per night (it’s based on weight of the dog, which they informed us of upfront when we booked so there were no surprises, however when a boutique 5 star hotel in Paris only charges €10 Euros per night for a dog fee, I think €25 in a small village in the countryside is quite a notable disparity. There is also no mini fridge in the hotel room.

The location could not have been better right in the centre of the very pretty old town. V comfortable bed and good walk in shower. The hotel does have a few of its own parking spaces (limited) - we ended up in the public paid for car park only two mins walk away for 1€\hour. NB the machine buttons v faded and be careful not to pay more than you need. Unfortunately I suffered a bout of food poisoning overnight from a local restaurant but the hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful about allowing us to check out at lunchtime to allow me further time to rest - particularly Roman who was on reception. They didn’t hesitate to take all our heavy luggage up to the floor where our room was. Buffet breakfast according to my husband was excellent and plentiful.

Incredibly central location, beautiful old building, staff very helpful. Easy and cheap parking a 100m away. Breakfast office was high quality with a amazing amount of choice. We were just staying overnight but Chinon and its surrounding area is worthy of a longer stay

Superbe hôtel, très bien situé, en plein centre ville avec une très belle vue. L’hôtel est très propre, bien entretenu et les propriétaires (ainsi que leur apprentie) sont très accueillants. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous avons deux bébés et nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien.

I was very surprised by the location - much better than we expected. There were 4 restaurants to pick from within 50 metres on a Monday. Excellent breakfast. The only thing to be aware of is lack of lift - which affected my wife as she had limited mobility, but we will definitely be back.

Gute Lage des Hotels, Restaurants direkt gegenüber und die Burg ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Es gibt eine Fahrradgarage und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Alle vermittelten das Gefühl, als Gast willkommen zu sein. Sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, tolle Dachterrasse zum Verweilen, fantastische Lage mitten im Ort, an einem kleinen belebten Platz. Frühstück angenehm und relaxt. Parken mit Reservierung im Haus oder direkt daneben öffentlich und praktisch. Alles supernett! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

J’avais loué une chambre de 30m2 je suis arrivé vers 17 h et on m’a donné pour le même tarif une chambre de 13 m2 au dernier étage

Hôtel vraiment parfait, très cosy et agréable. La place est vraiment bucolique avec les immenses acacias. Les chambres décorées avec goût et même un coin sur terrasse pour ceux qui veulent finir la soirée dehors. Le restaurant à côté est extra, et pas besoin d’aller plus loin. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la salle des petits déjeuners qui est vaste et les buffets garnis de produits frais et originaux. Les chambres sont munies de bouilloire et thé café ce qui n’est pas négligeable. Merci ✨

Le 3e étage pour mon papa a été un peu difficile à atteindre sans ascenseur, mais heureusement l’hôte a porté sa valise. Très sympathique !

Situation dans le centre ville idéale, proche de la cité médiévale et de la forteresse (accessible par ascenseur gratuit). Vue sur une très jolie place animée, avec restaurants et bars. Lit confortable. Terrasse agréable avec vue sur la forteresse, fontaine à eau gratuite. Petit déjeuner excellent et varié.
