Reviewed Aug 8, 2026L’accueil du réceptionniste était très chaleureux. Il nous a proposé plusieurs solutions pour pouvoir trouver un garage près de l’hôtel. L’hôtel est moderne, très propre et très calme. La literie est très confortable et le petit déjeuner excellent et copieux. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants qui ne sont qu’à quelques minutes de l’hôtel. Je trouve qu’il mériterait plus que deux étoiles!
Pas de parking à côté de l’hôtel, mais on peut se garer devant l’hôtel, le temps de descendre les bagages. L’hôtel propose aussi un parking longue durée à 5 minutes de l’hôtel.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Vi blev så väl mottagna när vi kom till Hotell Colbert. Innehavaren, Olivier, var glad, trevlig och mycket hjälpsam! Rummet var stort och vackert inrett och badrummet likaså. Vi blev serverade en trevlig frukost och hade det varit lite varmare ute så hade vi suttit i den fint uppdukade trädgården och ätit. Vi fick bra tips på restauranger som vi använde oss av och åt därför en god middag i närheten av hotellet på kvällen.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Olivier dès notre arrivée, et même avant pour les conseils de stationnement. La chambre était très bien agencée, propre et décorée avec goût. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur mais on nous a proposé plusieurs fois de monter nos bagages. On nous a également conseillé sur les restaurants alentours. Une très bonne expérience, avec en bonus, la rencontre avec Tina et Romy, les compagnes à 4 pattes de l'hôtel.
Le seul bémol est le manque de pression de la douche et l'eau que j'aurais aimé plus chaude, à son maximum, mais peut-être cela concernait uniquement la chambre que nous avions.

Perfectly clean, well-equipped, very helpful and thoughtful managers (where to find parkings and nice restaurants around). All in a nutshell, it has it all ! I'll book again without thinking twice!
Only thing that could be a bit improved would be an easier lock on the room's door, but that's no problem at all.

Pour nous pas de problème mais il n'y a pas d'ascenseur et 3 ou 4 étages. Donc en réservant, demander une chambre au premier si besoin.

Cote SdB, on peut enfin poser ses affaires ce qui devient rare dans les hôtels, où la déco est moderne mais votre trousse de toilette ne trouve pas de place.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025Situation centrale. Notre chambre sous les toits, ne donnait pas sur les ruelles très animés. Bon conseil pour l'arrangement de l'hôtel avec le parking très central et accessible à pied.
Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur donc pas conseillé aux personnes âgées ou avec des valises trop lourdes. Dans le parking pas d'instructions où on peut payer pour sortir (1 caisse trouvée à la sortie uniquement, bien noter sa place de stationnement). Petit déjeuner très simple, pas de buffet.

L'établissement est très bien situé ce qui nous a permis de visiter Tours à pieds. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Une petite cour était également appréciable. Le parking proposé par l'hôte juste à côté de l'établissement était parfait. (il nous avait également prévenu en avance que les routes allaient être fermées à cause du marathon).
Absolument rien, c'était super.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Zentrale Lage direkt in der Rue Colbert und trotzdem ruhig. Der Gastgeber Olivier ist sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Wir hatten ein neu renoviertes, geräumiges und ruhiges Zimmer. Schönes französisches Frühstück. Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert!!! Wenn wir wieder nach Tours reisen, werden wir es wieder buchen.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025The hotel is family owned. The owner, Olivier was so nice. He helped us find reasonable parking. He suggested two great French restaurants nearby. The hotel is located on Colbert St, a very old and active city street near the famous cathedral and down to a major shopping area. The narrow street is a bit gritty, but very active o to our liking. The room was very basic, but had a very welll remodeled bathroom
The hotel has no elevator. This required us to walk up five floors to our room. We did it, and we are in our late 60's, but just be prepared. Olivier help me, my husband managed his. This is a basic family hotel and not luxurious if that is what you want. There is an to buy breakfast. (We didn't as preferred finding some coffee and a patisserie on the street, so can't speak to that.) We would definitely return

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Très bonne communication à distance, et sur place. Propriétaire vraiment sympathique. Très bien placé, nous avons passé une nuit au calme dans un bon lit. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. Venu en voiture un dimanche soir, nous nous sommes garés dans une rue à proximité comme nous repartions le lendemain, mais l'hôtel propose en partenariat avec un parking proche les 24h pour 9,50€. A 10 min à pieds de la place Plumereau, mais beaucoup d'autres établissements ouverts à proximité. Le rapport qualité/prix /emplacement/sympathie est vraiment bon. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le petit déjeuner, mais ce sont des produits frais.
