Lovely hotel on a pretty square near the river, with great decor, good sized rooms, nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent. Two minutes walk to historic center and all the restaurants. They have a parking garage at the back which is worth the money if you want a secure spot; the parking in the square will cost more and there are lots of people out and about late at night. Can be noisy at night but they provide ear plugs and actually the rooms are quite quiet despite the central location. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

No complaints! Be aware that there is no lift and you have a few flights of stairs to reception and rooms.

As expected a central location can be noisy into the night and we had to open the windows as it was hot and no aircon. Fortunately we stayed when the nightclub downstairs was closed!

Super emplacement au centre, en face d'un parking payant, a deux pas de la Loire, des boutiques et des restaurants.A l'accueil personne très agréable et toujours prêt a rendre service. Quant au petit déjeuner beaucoup de choix et tout est frais, bravo. . Avons passés un excellent moment....

Peut-être 1 ascenseur, car l'accueil de l'hôtel est situé à l'étage ainsi que les chambres.(valises a porter)

The room was fantastic. The receptionist made my life a lot easier by changing my room to the lower floor to help with the bicycle. Great breakfast

No lift, carrying cases to a second floor location not very good for older people. Shower was mediocre and room very small.

localisation exceptionnelle au centre du vieux Tours. Chambre ultra-confortable, silencieuse, propre et très spatieuse. Petit déjeuner à prix raisonnable, avec beaucoup de variété.

La personne qui nous a reçu est très aimable. La chambre était propre, grande et la salle de bain fonctionnelle. L’emplacement est top.

Les deux étages à monter pour aller à la réception et le manque d’ascenseur mais cela est vite oublié car le reste est parfait!

Excellente localisation au centre de Tours. Personnel serviable et accueillant, chambre très propre et confortable. Parfait pour les cyclistes qui suivent la Loire à vélo!

Très pratique en plein cœur de ville et quartier très animé juste à côté . Mais reste très calme

La salle de bain tien dans un dès a coudre

L'emplacement. C'est central et en meme temps proche d'un grand parking payant surveillé, donc pratique pour notre voyage.

La chambre familiale etait propre mais on sentait une odeur de fumé de cigarette. Salle de bain tres petite. Pas d'ascenceur donc attention a la taille de vos bagages. Pour avoir un lit double et deux lits simples on aurait du payer un supplement.

Je n'avais pas vu sur le site booking que l'hôtel n'avait pas d'ascenseur et que l'escalier avait beaucoup de marches d'un étage à l'autre.

Kleines Hotel, kleine Zimmer aber liebevoll, geschickt eingerichtet Sehr guter Service. Großartiges Frühstück . Das Fehlen eines Aufzugs ist gar nicht aufgefallen

L'hotel non ha ascensore ma abbiamo alloggiato al secondo piano e non è stato troppo scomodo. Ad ogni modo, eravamo stati informati al momento della prenotazione. La posizione ottima, a due passi dal centro e dal lungofiume. Ci avevano anche informato di possibili rumori durante la notte (e per questo nel kit in camera abbiamo trovato anche tappi per orecchie) ma nel periodo del nostro pernottamento (metà agosto) non abbiamo avuto alcun problema. Disponibile anche parcheggio gratuito in piazza antistante all'hotel e comunque a pagamento a breve distanza

Mancanza dell'ascensore

La posizione ottima adiacente al centro città e alla passeggiata sulla Loira e il parcheggio adiacente alla struttura! Personale gentile e disponibile .

Due piani di scale per arrivare alla reception e la stanza un po’ piccolina per 4 persone ( incluso il bagno veramente piccolo) ma ripagato da un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Accueil très agréable, taille des chambres et qualité de la literie, petit déjeuner avec du choix et emplacement de l'hôtel.

Comme annoncé, escaliers à monter mais pas gênant quand on est prévenus.

Les équipements dans la chambre et la localisation très bien placée dans le centre ville.

Le fait de ne pas avoir de modification de réservation possible à cause d’événement météo. J’ai perdu une réservation en janvier à cause d’une tempête de neige et l’établissement n’a pas voulu la déplacer.

Das Hotel bietet alles was ein 2 Stern Hotel bieten soll. Die Lage zur Altstadt und zur großen Einkaufsstraße sind optimal. Da die Rezeption im 2. Stock liegt, es leider keinen Aufzug, ist es für ältere Menschen etwas schwierig. Doch das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und geht einem mit dem Gepäck gerne zur Hand.

- la literie est confortable - le petit déjeuner est diversifié, bon et de bonne qualité - le personnel est accueillant et souriant - la localisation proche du centre de Tours est intéressante pour visiter - C'était propre et la chambre et la chambre était assez spacieuse

- L'isolation phonique entre les chambres est à revoir - l'emplacement proche d'une boîte de nuit a rendu la nuit ( vendredi) très difficile ( gens qui parlent dans la rue , crient, rigolent ...) -parking de l'hôtel trop cher (40euros/nuit en haute saison )

El baño. El agua del inodoro era escasa y el agua caliente de la ducha también. No había suficientes enchufes. Si bien advierten sobre las escaleras, éstas son realmente empinadas y hay que subir dos pisos sólo hasta recepción

De ligging. Kort op de snelweg en dicht in het centrum.

Geen lift. Kregen een muffe zolderkamer op bovenste 4e verdieping (veel trappen) die we volgens ons niet hadden geboekt. Na protest kregen we - helaas - tegen bijbetaling een goede kamer op de receptie verdieping. Verder van onze 2 nachten 2 verstoorde nachten gehad door muziek van uitgaanders op de parkeerplaats en een ruziënde schreeuwende groep mensen eveneens op de parkeerplaats. Daar kan het hotel echter niets aan doen.

Overnachting Tours op terugreis naar Nederland. Parkeren op het plein is gratis van 18:30 uur t/m 9:00 uur de volgende morgen. Op het plein en in de buurt kun je wat eten en drinken. Alles op loopafstand.

Het Hotel ligt in een buurt/plein wat in de avond wat reuring geeft, Oordopjes worden verstrekt wat soms geen overbodige luxe is of kan zijn. Wij waren er op vrijdagavond en die nacht was best rumoerig. We hadden een kamer aan de voorkant.

Centraal gelegen hotel, vriendelijk ontvangst, verzorgd ontbijt met een voldoende grote keuze. Kamers waren helemaal in orde. De basisbadkamer was ook ok.

Op zich helemaal ok, enkel pittig om je bagage helemaal naar de tweede verdieping te moeten sleuren via een hoge trap. Helaas geen lift aanwezig.

Very funny hotel. It is old like hell, but at the same time pretty nice. For a one-night stay, it's the best budget option in Tours. Breakfast can be a bit hit-or-miss—just remember this simple rule: be one of the first to arrive! If you prefer to sleep in, you might have to wait a bit for the food to be restocked.

The rooms were pretty tired. You feel the time pressure ) Toilet flush has its own life (you need to master your flushing skills)))

Nettes, familiär geführtes Hotel, nahe dem historischen Zentrum der Stadt. Gutes Frühstück, gute Betten und Klimaanlage und sehr sauber. Gute, dennoch ruhige Lage in einem netten Viertel zwischen Loire und Altstadt, ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ist auf dem Platz direkt vor dem Hotel. Ein Tipp: Die Zimmer befinden sich AB dem zweiten Stock bis in den 4. Stock, es gibt keinen Lift. Umso leichter der Koffer also, umso besser :-)

Hôtel parfaitement situé à la frontière du centre ancien et près de la Loire. Accueil agréable et chambre très cosy. Et climatisation bien réglée (notable en cette période de canicule). Bon petit déjeuner, varié.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Mondial. The room we had (for 4 people) was big and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and allowed us to have great sleeps (even though it was hot outside). The bathroom/shower was also big and well appointed. The breakfast had a lot of delicious options and we ate in the breakfast area with the big windows open looking out over the square. We loved it.

A couple minor inconveniences: First, the hotel lobby was closed between noon and 4pm, and since we arrived around 3, it would have been nice to be able to check in early, or leave our stuff somewhere. Second, we were on the 4th floor and with no elevator, we were a little tired by the time we hiked it up those stairs (with our suitcases). These were really just minor things though and we knew ahead of time so they weren't surprises.

Het hotel is uitstekend gelegen, midden in het centrum van Tours. Het is 1 minuut lopen naar een grote winkelstraat en 2 minuten naar een gezellig plein met restaurants en bars. De kamer was prima en heeft goede bedden. Ook de airco doet het goed wat wel nodig was in het snikhete Tours (35 graden). De badkamer is schoon en netjes, helemaal prima. Qua geluid viel het ons ook 100% mee. Ondanks dat je in het centrum zit hoor je vrij weinig. Op een paar minuten lopen is een Indigo parkeergarage, waar je voor 11 euro je auto kunt parkeren voor de duur van 1 nacht (aankomst rond 18.00 en vertrek om 11.00 de volgende dag). Voor de deur parkeren kan ook, maar deze parkeerplaats is krap en meestal vol.

Je moet een paar trappen op, hou daar rekening mee.

El desayuno es escaso y la habitación algo pequeña para cuatro adultos. Las habitaciones están en una segunda plaza sin ascensor.

All the stairs to your room. We slept in a room in the attic. Felt a bit cramped.

Locatie is perfect in Tours. Je parkeert voor de deur (gratis vanaf 19.00 tot 9.00 uur). Je loopt zo het gezellige centrum van Tours in. Kamer zag er zeer netjes uit en zeer comfortabel bed. Ook nog even een koffie maken in de kamer is ook fijn.

Ik had graag de airco zelf in willen stellen. Nu op 23 graden was nog iets aan de warme kant. Verder was alles heerlijk.

Well equipped rooms in a prime location in Tours. The check-in process was super easy, and the staff was very helpful at all times.

This hotel is well priced and perfect for exploring Tours. We had an adjoining room with our son, which was a pleasant surprise as we are used to having an extra single bed in with us. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel provided ear plugs, as the area surrounding the hotel can be quite loud at night. But, as our bedrooms were at the rear of the hotel we didn’t really need them. The hotel is on the first floor and has no lift, so isn’t suitable for those with mobility issues, but if you don’t mind stairs it’s a great budget friendly place to stay. The breakfast was fabulous and well worth the money. The service was friendly and helpful. I was given the choice of English or French and went with French so that I could practice. Tours is on your doorstep, as are a really diverse collection of places to eat. We went Lebanese and would highly recommended trying it out.

The decoration was a little worn in places, but was obviously well looked after.

Met zware koffers de trap op (geen lift🤔) Ontbijtruimte was érg leuk, plekje voor een open raam. Ontbijt zelf was redelijk, maar prima als doorreis ontbijt 😉

No hay ascensor, y sólo para llegar a recepción hay que subir 4 tramos de escaleras, y dos más para llegar a la primera planta que tiene habitaciones.

Well received by monsieur at front door who carried our heavy bags up the two flights of stairs to reception. Had lots more stairs to climb for our room on the third floor. No lift possible due to lack of ancient building permission. Staff very helpful. Room fine.Very well located for restaurants, bars, etc. Would come again.

Careful not to pay too much for parking in the square. Pay up to 6.30pm and come out in the morning to prolong.

Such a cute place in a great location! I loved all the details in decoration and amenities. Very thoughtful! And with the free overnight parking just outside it was the perfect spot on my way through. I would definitely stay here again.

Die Lage für einen Städtetrip bzw. einem Stopp auf dem Loire-Radweg war toll und die Klimaanlage bei 40 Grad sehr willkommen. Die Abstellmöglichkeit für die Fahrräder war sehr gut, viel Platz in einer abschließbaren Garage.

Sehr sympathischer Empfang, nett, freundlich, tolles vielseitiges französisches Frühstück, sehr zentral, Blick vom Frühstückssaal auf einen schönen Platz.

Tolle Lage, süßes Hotel.... Wir waren für eine Nacht im Familienzimmer auf der Durchreise und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Parkplatz direkt vorm Hotel

Vor 16h ist die Rezeption leider nicht besetzt, muss man bei der Anreise berücksichtigen!
