Great location, modern and clean, nice water pressure in the shower! Lovely roof-top seating area with STUNNING view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon in particular. The gentleman who worked the day shift when I arrived and checked out was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the city.

The very only thing I felt could have been better were the two people working the afternoon/evening shift. When I popped in to drop off some souvenirs in my room, they only said hello when I said it first, and when I got back again later in the evening they didn't say hi at all. But were quite busy talking to each other. They happily helped me at the bar, though, when I asked for it even later.

We stayed here for a night to start our two week trip and had a very pleasant experience. The rooftop is of course the highlight - stunning views of the Acropolis and Parthenon and a decent breakfast buffet. The service was on a par with the views - excellent, informative and kind staff who went out of their way to help us. Particularly Theodore and Christopher! Room was great for the price, clean and comfortable bed. Location is, as the view implies, second to none. All in all a really good stay - absolutely worth the money

What a wonderful place to stay! You can walk to all the fun neighboorhoods. Enjoy the acropolis view morning and night from the rooftop - you won't want to leave the view! We LOVED having the water refill station - that was a PERK! Our room was small - so grab a room with a balcony, just gives you a bit more open space. The breakfast was a great start to our day. Perfect location for a couple of days in Athens!

The place offers an outstanding view of the Acropolis! In the evening, when the Parthenon and the other ancient structures are beautifully illuminated, the view becomes absolutely breathtaking. The rooms, as well as the entire property, are sparkling clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and offered an impressive variety of choices: different types of bread, eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, rice pudding, juices—including freshly squeezed orange juice—coffee and tea, pastries, and many other delicacies. There was truly something for everyone. The location is another major advantage. The Acropolis and Acropolis Museum are within walking distance, as are the Hop-on Hop-off bus stops and a Metro station, making it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring Athens. Overall, Acropolis View Museum is a lovely place to stay, combining cleanliness, comfort, friendly service, an excellent breakfast, and an unforgettable view of the Acropolis. I highly recommend it!

I cannot fault this hotel. It is charming, the staff is friendly and the view from the roof top is beautiful! I travelled with kids and they were well looked after as well.

Great overall. Especially, the awesome view of the Parthenon from our balcony, the location for walkable site seeing from our hotel, the fantastic spread for the breakfast and the super nice staff that was very accommodating.

There was nothing that I did not like. Our stay could not have been better.

Amazing location and incredible view of the Acropolis from the breakfast roof terrace. Rooms were clean, comfortable beds and well equipped. Nice touches like fresh juice and biscuits in the lobby. Breakfast was very good but not outstanding. Felt small and friendly, not at all corporate or bland.

Waitresses at breakfast were sullen and eye rolling. Choice of food was good but quality wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped. Coffee not great, pastries a bit flavourless, fruit not quite ripe. They had a problem with pigeons dive bombing the terrace - not sure if the hotel could take measures against this. Minor gripes though, it was still a great hotel and I'd go again.

The location is fantastic. The staff is amazing. Breakfast is very satisfying by any standard. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view and is very comfortable when the sun is not too hot at the middle of a late summer day. And did I mention the amazing staff? They are personable, made great local recommendations, and helped us arrange transfers to and from the hotel! It really relieved a lot of our stress.

Beds are European standard, but some Americans may find them less comfortable than they expect. The refrigerator did not cool.

My son and I had an absolutely awesome stay at the Acropolis View Hotel. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated with absolutely the best fantastic service and felt very welcome ...my only regret was we were not staying longer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay such a memorable and fantastic one. The location is ideal, the quality and standard of the premises is very high and tasteful. The views of the Acropolis are breath taking. Wow is all we can say. We look forward to returning. Many thanks to you all xx ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location could not have been more spectacular, the rooftop, dining and lounging area had a spectacular view of the Acropolis. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. The staff was able to hold our luggage for us while we toured the city, and even put it into our rooms before we checked in. Value was exceptional, and I would return their again and again!

On a previous trip to Athens, we had dinner at Strofi Restaurant, and the unforgettable rooftop views of the Acropolis immediately caught our attention. We later realized that the terrace at Acropolis View Hotel offers an almost identical perspective—arguably the most photogenic side of the Parthenon. Combined with its location just steps from Apostolou Pavlou, the beautiful pedestrian promenade that circles the Acropolis toward Thiseio, the decision to stay here became an easy one. My family and I typically stay in 4- and 5-star properties, so we arrived with fairly high expectations. I’m happy to say that Acropolis View Hotel exceeded them in nearly every way that mattered. Check-in was seamless, and the professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency of the reception staff immediately set a welcoming tone. The chilled flavored water and traditional Greek cookies offered upon arrival were thoughtful, unexpected touches that made a wonderful first impression. The location proved even more convenient than anticipated. The quiet street offered a peaceful setting while still being within about a 10-minute walk of Acropoli Metro Station, making it incredibly easy to take spontaneous trips around the city without much planning. Breakfast, served in the enclosed, air-conditioned section of the rooftop terrace, included all the essentials. While the selection wasn’t extensive, everything was fresh and satisfying, and the setting more than made up for the modest variety. Our room was spotless, surprisingly well-designed, and offered more storage space than we expected. The small private balcony became one of our favorite features—a perfect place to unwind in the evening after exploring Athens. In the end, every essential aspect of the property—service, cleanliness, comfort, location, and overall experience—was better than we expected. Acropolis View Hotel delivered outstanding value, and we would gladly recommend it without hesitation. We certainly wouldn’t think twice about staying here again on a future visit to Athens.

What a nice hotel. Exceptionally clean. A staff that provides superb service. Air conditioned comfort. Short walking distance to the Acropolis. A short walk to several good restaurants. I would not stay anywhere else in Athens.

Staff great, top vibe, sublime view and excellent breakfast

I actually stayed here twice; before and after a Greek Island cruise. Have to admit that when I arrived I wasn't impressed... until I stepped inside. The lobby has a full bar, I believe it is 24 x 7. I spotted some pastries and peach tea and knew I would be fine. Every single person who worked at the desk was fabulous. Well informed, happy to help, all went above and beyond. Directions to a restaurant that was a neighborhood gem and not touristy.... check. Could they call the number for my driver and confirm a pick up the next morning.....check. When I got back from dinner (and it did not disappoint ... Kalamaki and Onos, both an easy walk from the hotel) my luggage had been delivered to my room. It was a no frills room, not large, but it had absolutely everything I needed, and an amazing view of the Acropolis. I felt safe, and slept very well. My last day there was a busy Saturday and I intended to stay in and rest before my early morning flight the next day. I fell in love with the amazing rooftop breakfast and view of the Acropolis. After breakfast I grabbed my backpack and went out for one more adventure. I walked around the Acropolis and unfortunately encountered a pickpocket who helped himself to my wallet. I had forgotten that I had everything in my backpack instead of the room safe, in anticipation of my early morning flight the next day. I can't put into words how kind and helpful EVERY SINGLE PERSON at the front desk was to me. I sat in the lobby and cancelled all my credit and debit cards, they kept checking on me to see if I needed any help. They brought me a drink on the house, and even with the shift changes, they continued to check on me and make sure I was ok and had everything I needed. They told me to order dinner from the neighborhood and have it delivered and they would pay for it. Fratti Bistro was the neighborhood place that I fell in love with, ate there twice (thanks to Apple Pay and my American Express card in my Apple Wallet!!). And it's a small place, everyone seemed to know what had happened to me (and my wallet) and expressed deep concern for me. I felt like I was in a true neighborhood bar, with GREAT food! The next morning the folks at the hotel had arranged for the rooftop breakfast to start 10 minutes early so I would have time to eat before my driver arrived. This is what Excellent customer service is all about.

The name of this hotel is 100% accurate--we did indeed have a direct view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The ruins and the associated museum were only a 10-min walk away and we were right in the heart of Plaka. The hotel had a rooftop terrace which was also where breakfast was served. At night we would grab a drink from the bar in the lobby and sit at the terrace to be in awe of the Acropolis. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The ladies serving breakfast were kind and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and quiet. If I were to ever return to Athens, this would be where I would stay again.

This was one of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed in. EVERYONE who worked there treated me like family. They were the nicest, most professional and helpful staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They really catered to my every need and went beyond. Even my friend, who was staying in a different hotel, said that the staff in my hotel was something unique and special. And the breakfast on the rooftop was exceptional. So many delicious choices! And, to top it all off...the evening, having a cocktail on the rooftop overlooking the illuminated Acropolis was just magical. That rooftop was actually my favorite place in Athens. I spent every evening there!

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Plaka and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the Acropolis and is a great place to relax in the evening with a drink, even without a pool. The hotel is well run, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a great choice for our one-night stay before flying home.

Very little to complain about. The breakfast was perfectly adequate, with scrambled eggs, yoghurt and the usual continental options, but it wasn't particularly memorable or anything out of the ordinary.

This was an amazing hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and an amazing view from our room and upstairs patio. The patio is only open to guests so never crowded. Just min away from the acropolis and a short walk to everything else. Great neighborhood very safe and clean. Cannot say enough good things. Beds are comfy and a/c works well on those hot days. The free breakfast is also a very nice touch with very tasty food.

The location was perfect for walking to pretty much anywhere. It was clean, beautiful. Honestly, the breakfast alone is worth every penny you pay. Don’t skip breakfast.

My room was directly under the breakfast area (room 401) at about 7:45 you could hear the chairs being slid around the floor above. If you like to sleep in, avoid this room. I know there isn’t much that can be done about it.

The hotel delivered on excellent views of the Acropolis, great location allowing for easy walks to restaurants, shops & tourist attractions. Hotel was modern and clean, friendly staff who worked hard to get us an earlier check in as our flight landed at 07:00, they were also flexible with accommodating our breakfast requirements and arranged great taxi services for us. For what you pay, it’s a 10 out of 10 for sure !

Bedroom & Bathroom are small but it’s modern and clean. We only stayed one night, 3 might start to take its toll.

Professionalità e buon gusto contraddistinguono questo hotel situato in una zona tranquilla e curata vicinissimo al museo dell'acropoli. Eccezionale la vista sull'acropoli dal terrazzo al quinto piano utilizzato anche per la colazione. Colazione ottima, ho apprezzato la torta alla crema di limone, la frutta fresca, la possibilità di farsi la spremuta con le arance, gli yogurt con la frutta fresca sopra, vari tipi di pane, marmellate, miele, dolce e salato insomma non mancava nulla.

La camera un po' piccola al piano strada, (forse perché era economy) comunque ben arredata e pulita.

Acropolis View Hotel is close to a lot of what you might like to see in Athens. Even if you are just a very short walk away for "everything", the location still feels a little more quiet. Bonus for very friendly staff with helpful suggestions for instance for restaurants in the area! For breakfast you have a lot of tasty options, with a view of the Acropolis. We like that there is a conscious attitude when it comes to food waste. For breakfast you can easily choose small portions to try a variety of things, and there is a note above the buffet suggesting that you eat as much as you like, but finish what you take. We have only tried the more basic room categories, as we have only stayed for the first or last night of trips where we mainly visited places outside Athens, but we found them clean and well maintained. The view of the Acropolis can also be enjoyed at night from the roof terrace, which you don't want to miss.

The hotel lives up to its name, sporting absolutely incredible views of the Acropolis from their roof deck. The staff was very polite and helpful. They helped us find a great place for dinner and were prompt about getting us drinks from the bar when needed. The roof deck is simply wonderful, with both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seating. My room was small, but tidy and comfortable. The location is perfect if you’re looking to do a walking tour of the Acropolis. There are also lots of great little restaurants and shops within walking distance. I felt very safe walking around day and night.

The rooms aren’t soundproof, so it might be an issue if you are a light sleeper and/or have noisy neighbors. There’s only one elevator. If you want drinks to enjoy on the roof, you need to go to the lobby bar in order to get them.

The staff were welcoming and helpful acquainting us with the area and helping us plan our time to get the most out of a quick stay. The hotel is an easy walk to the Acropolis and to the old town, but tucked away from the crowds—we definitely stayed in the right place.

Amazing roof top terrace and view of the Acropolis! The staff were very helpful making recommendations and finding us a taxi last minute when my ride didn't work out. The location of the hotel was excellent for accessing the entrance of the Acropolis. The entire hotel was impeccably clean.

The selection of wines was average. I understand that it's important to promote Greek wines but having one or two options would have been nicer. Also, the bar was limited for offering other martini's but we found that to be the case in many of the restaurants too.
